The initiation, easy or difficult, depends on the Master. There is the Master who is difficult, that is his character, his personality and it has nothing to do with enlightenment. Every Master has his personality and his working system, his method. He wants it this way and not that way, and you can’t change it, but that has nothing to do with his enlightenment. For example, two Masters have the same level of enlightenment, but they teach their disciples in two different ways. And that’s why some students progress faster, or progress slower or not at all or very slowly – two, three lives. That’s why, at the time of the Buddha, or also at the time of other Masters – it’s not that long ago, maybe 100 years ago – it took four lifetimes to get the whole liberation from this Earth. Four lifetimes. Not like with us – just one, because I have given all the strength that I have and that I can give. I don’t reserve anything. […] So the Masters are very different. […]
