Today, we are pleased to present selected teachings of Quetzalcóatl (vegetarian), which detail how family relations are linked with relationships from previous lives, as well as expound on how, when we know and love God above all things, we will learn to love all Earth’s co-inhabitants as well.
FAMILY
“Quetzalcóatl was saying: Family is the flower which evolution deposited over the Earth, to germinate with the Sun of Love. It is the attempt to materialize the bonds with which Love weaves Life. You must know that, when you come out from a family which gave you shelter at your doubts’ dawn, you leave towards another wider family. And when you leave this one, you walk searching for the Great Family of the Stars. Even more, these ones are nothing but flowers in the garden of Our Mutual Creator God. You say: It was chance joined to time which put me as a sprout on that tree. Nevertheless, I tell you: Chance does not exist but in the ignorance of your hearts. Because the body of the son hasn’t been born yet, and he is already with his parents, and it has been with them many other times before. It has been said: children learn from their parents what the latter have gathered from the knowledge of past generations. But I tell you: Sons of Life, didn’t past generations sow the fruit that you yourselves planted, and that you come to pick up one time after the other? What are you in your bodies if not a great family, a sprout of ivy ascending in the humidity and warmth of existence?
One time after another, birth erases our memories, in order to give us another opportunity. To realize... we are One, together with all creation.”
WE ARE ALL ONE
“He sat in the midst of all and with a voice, as sweet as the dusks of Tula, thus told them: There once was a tree whose leaves thought themselves as ‘being not a tree,’ and thus each leaf was growing on its own, believing ‘not to be a tree.’ One day, the Wind of circumstance arrived, and with its invisible hands threw the leaves one against the other. And when the Wind of circumstance left, they complained and became enclosed ‘within themselves,’ and drew apart from all those leaves not growing on their own branch. The times without Wind arrived, and the leaves hated each other, and hardly united were the ones born of the same branch, so that the neighboring ones, part of other branches, would throw against them hurting words. And our brother the tree was suffering within itself, and each day it grew weaker, and each night its strength lessened. Several winters passed by, and in the last generation of leaves one was born which talked to the rest when sister Breeze lent it force, and the soul of the tree gave her Wisdom. Sisters, you are still living in the blindness of the two dimensions of your egos, and therefore, you only live your own individuality as independent leaves from the others, to a point where you believe that the others that you see outside of yourselves, are not yourselves.
Nevertheless, all you would have to do is open your eyes a little bit towards understanding, to be able to feel that in three dimensions you all are joined through the branches, and that such branches are at the same time joined to the trunk, and that even this trunk is joined to the land and the air. I understand your attitude when you confront one another, because it is created only by the ignorance born out of believing yourselves to be particularities which the hand of Time, joined to evolution and adaptation, has turned into a leaf completely different from the rest of its sisters. When, through studying yourselves you come to deepen your knowledge about yourselves, you will enlarge your consciousness until it becomes One with all, and then you will become the tree. Then, how can [you] criticize your sister leaves if they are yourselves in other circumstances? How can you ill-treat other parts of yourselves? How can you intend to cut the progress of yourselves in other parts of your Being Tree? And when the Wind of circumstance comes, instead of sowing hate between you, it will sow love, and instead of making you confront each other, it will unite you with caresses, on a prolonged embrace which will make the Being tree become aware of itself and of all the parts of itself. And one leaf which dwelled on a branch that said to have the Truth because it had found the Sun, looking towards the north, said: Are you trying to make us believe that the leaves which dwell in other branches, and say to have found the Truth of our Sun walking towards the opposite direction from us, aren’t wrong? And she answered back with great anxiety in her words: That is exactly what I want to say; nevertheless, how could I prove it to you who still are fanatical and don’t know how to be just a simple leaf, and be able to feel and merge with the leaves of those other branches? If you could, you could be able to see with amazement that the Sun truly reaches all of them. And if you could enlarge more your consciousness, and be able to become one with the tree, great would your happiness be when finding out that all the tree goes towards the Sun! Nevertheless, this experience can only be born in yourself, because the tree knows itself in each leaf at one stage and in one way, and it breathes and feels differently through each leaf. And only the equilibrium of all, the Love uniting all of them, is what makes one grow in the knowledge of oneself. Forget about being a leaf, in order to become a tree. Feel through the leaves you are able to see outside yourself as much as you can feel through “yourself’, and you will be on the way to becoming a tree, thus enlarging your consciousness of yourself. You must know that in the Objective Reality, you are more a tree than a leaf.
And after saying all this, it kept quiet, and all of them felt in the deepest of their being that the tree had talked in them, and that something was starting to talk within ‘themselves.’ And when the Wind of circumstance came that year and threw one against the other, they were happy, because in this way they were able to contact each other, and they could understand themselves in the others. Get to know and love God ‘above all things,’ later you will get to know and love all your brothers the beings, such as yourself, or even more than yourself, during each day of your days. By realizing this, you will have learned.”
