Various reasons inspire people to switch from cooked food to the fruitarian diet. The transition one goes through to attain it can be a gradual process depending on the individual. Some fruitarians will eat only what falls naturally from a plant, and fruits, nuts and seeds that can be harvested without killing or harming the plant. Others prefer not to eat seeds as they contain future plants. While others believe they should only consume plants able to produce seeds for propagation.
