From The Essene Humane Gospel of Christ: The Salvation of the World – The Birth of Yeshua, Part 1 of 2

Faithful viewers, the Essene Humane Gospel is a reminder of the Godly virtues that we should live by if we are to walk the path of the Truth. God’s Arms are always opened for the sincere Truth-seekers. Today we’ll read selections from the beginning of this Gospel, in which we learn about the preparation of the coming of the great Essene Prophet John the Baptist and of the Worshipped Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ. “…Gabriel spoke further unto her, ‘O Mary, therefore also is that holy, which shall be born of thee, even Christ, the child of God, and His name on earth shall be called Yeshua, for it is He that shall save the people from bondage to sin, even all those repenting and obeying His Holy Laws. Therefore, O Mary, YE SHALL EAT NO ANIMAL FLESH, NOR DRINK STRONG DRINK, for the Holy Child shall be consecrated unto the All-Eternal from its mother’s womb, and NEITHER ANIMAL FLESH NOR STRONG DRINK SHALL HE EAT OR DRINK IN ANY FORM, nor shall ever a razor touch His head.’”

On Love: from Socrates’ Dialogue with Diotima of Mantinea in “Symposium” by Plato (vegetarian), Part 1 of 2

The Venerated Socrates was born in Athens, Greece circa 470 BC. Many people consider him to be the father of Western philosophy. Others think of Him as an insightful teacher and an enlightened Master. We will now read a selected part from Plato's well-known work “Symposium.” The text depicts a gathering of notable men during a banquet, where they exchange philosophical thoughts. In one of the dialogues, Socrates recollects his conversation with the seer and priestess Diotima about the idea and nature of love. In this dialogue with Diotima, where Love is referred to as a “great spirit,” we find the origin of the concept of Platonic love. “For God mingles not with man; but through Love all the communion and converse of God with man, whether awake or asleep, is carried on. The wisdom which understands this is spiritual. Now these spirits or intermediate powers are many and diverse, and one of them is Love.” “The truth of the matter is this: No god is a philosopher or seeker after wisdom, for he is wise already; nor does any man who is wise seek after wisdom. Neither do the ignorant seek after Wisdom. For herein is the evil of ignorance, that he who is neither good nor wise is nevertheless satisfied with himself: he has no desire for that of which he feels no want.”

The Reunion of Souls, Part 3 of 11

The Reunion of Souls, Part 3 of 11

A group of Maori people outside the venue performed a traditional Powhiri ceremony to welcome Master to New Zealand. A Powhiri is more than just a welcome; it is an acknowledgement of the dimensions of spiritual, physical and mental wellness. On this occasion, the "Kaumatua" was also a spiritual leader of the Maori. He then thanked Her for the tremendous work that She is doing for the higher good of all people. He said that as Tangatawhenua we have a responsibility and accountability to our people to Manaaki (embrace and host the Master with the reverence She deserves.) “I sneeze the breath of life. My heart is glad that You came to this land. My entire being is open to Your words. Let Us both ascend these mountains and bath in these tranquil bodies of water. Man will come and go, while the land remains.” “Thank you so much for your love. I’m so… I’m so overwhelmed by your kindness and your poetic spiritually elevated expression of love. This kind of highly elevated spiritual expression you cannot hear everywhere, and it is very rare. And it touches everyone’s soul who hears it. I wonder if all of you are poets, or perhaps you are saints.” “And I’m so honored, very, very extremely honored. And I am sure God blesses you, your people, and your land. If my humble prayer has any affect at all, I will pray again, now, and tonight and in the future for your people. And I shall always treasure this elevated feeling today.” “I am very shy with all these professional singers. Yes, their voices are so great; they’re so strong, (Yes.) yeah, and full of love. And, my goodness, what do you eat? You have voices so strong? How much time you practice a day, how many hours? No. Just natural? From the father’s speech and from their love, their vibration, I can feel that you have a great, great spiritual tradition. Your level of spiritual understanding is very high, was very high, and still is very high. (Thank You.) I am so happy to meet such a spiritually highly developed race of people. (Thank You.) Thank you so much. Thank you for the honor. Thank you.”

Buddhism’s Sacred Scripture: The Sutra of the Lotus of the Wonderful Dharma, Chapter 4, Part 5 of 6

Buddhism’s Sacred Scripture: The Sutra of the Lotus of the Wonderful Dharma, Chapter 4, Part 5 of 6

“The Buddha too, is like this. He knows our fondness for the petty, and so he never told us, ‘You can attain Buddhahood.’ Instead he explained to us how we could become free of outflows, carry out the Lesser Vehicle and be voice-hearer disciples. Then the Buddha commanded us to preach the Supreme Way and explain that those who practice this will be able to attain Buddhahood. We received the Buddha's teaching and for the sake of the great Bodhisattvas made use of causes and conditions, various similes and parables, a variety of words and phrases, to preach the unsurpassed way.” “The various Buddhas in their Dharma of the secret storehouse set forth the true facts for the sake of Bodhisattvas alone; it is not for our sake that they expound the true essentials. The case is like that of the impoverished son who was able to approach his father. Though he knew of his father's possessions, at heart he had no longing to appropriate them. Thus, although we preached the treasure storehouse of the Dharma of the Buddha, we did not seek to attain it ourselves, and in this way our case is similar. We sought to wipe out what was within ourselves, believing that was sufficient.”

Distributing God’s Wisdom: From the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (vegetarian), Part 1 of 2

00:16:03

Distributing God’s Wisdom: From the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (vegetarian), Part 1 of 2

The Book of the Secrets of Enoch, also known as the Second Book of Enoch, or Old Bulgarian Enoch, is an ancient religious text, which describes the intensity of the Antediluvian (pre-Flood) time period. Enoch was a venerated patriarch and great-grandfather of Noah. After his son, Methuselah, was born, Enoch began to “walk with God” – that is, he began to seek, to know, to serve, and to pray to God, and he continued this for the next 300 years! Throughout his life, he visited Heaven in his visions and dreams. At the age of 365, Enoch disappeared, “because God took him away” straight to Heaven, for he was pleasing to God. The Book of Enoch contains unique material on why the Great Flood was morally necessary, why some angels fell from Heaven, and prophetic revelations of the thousand-year reign of the Messiah. But the main message is one of hope, that God will be the guiding Light for those who are righteous. Today, as we go through chapters 31 to 39 from “The Book of the Secrets of Enoch,” we will read about God appointing Enoch to go down to Earth and share his handwritten books on everything he has witnessed and learned while on his journey in Heaven. “And now, Enoch, all that I have told you, all that you have understood, all that you have seen of Heavenly things, all that you have seen on Earth, and all that I have written in books by my great wisdom, all these things I have devised and created from the uppermost foundation to the lower and to the end, and there is no counsellor nor inheritor to my creations. I am self-eternal, not made with hands, and without change.” “They have rejected my commandments and my yoke, worthless seed has come up, not fearing God, and they would not bow down to me, but have begun to bow down to vain gods, and denied my unity, and have laden the whole Earth with untruths, offences, abominable lustfulness, namely one with another, and all manner of other unclean wickedness, which are disgusting to relate. And therefore, I will bring down a deluge upon the Earth and will destroy all men, and the whole Earth will crumble together into great darkness.”

Buddhism’s Sacred Scripture: The Sutra of the Lotus of the Wonderful Dharma, Chapter 4, Part 4 of 6

Today, we would like to present an excerpt from Chapter 4 of this sutra – Belief and Understanding. “World-Honored One, this old man with his great riches is none other than the Tathagata, and we are all like the Buddha’s sons. The Tathagata constantly tells us that we are His sons. In addition, though we expounded and set forth the Buddha wisdom for the sake of the Bodhisattvas, we ourselves did not aspire to attain it. Why do I say this? Because the Buddha, knowing that our minds delight in lesser doctrines, employed the power of expedient means to preach in a way that was appropriate for us. So, we did not know that we were in truth the sons of the Buddha. But now, at least we know it. ‘With regard to the Buddha wisdom, the World-Honored One is never begrudging. Why do I say this? From times past, we have in truth been the sons of the Buddha, but we delighted in nothing but lesser doctrines. If we had the kind of mind that delighted in great ones, then the Buddha would have preached the Dharma of the Great Vehicle for us.’”

From the Sacred Texts of Hòa Hảo Buddhism: "The Master’s Loving Instructions" and "Teaching the Tao to Save People"

Today we present excerpts of the teachings of Prophet Huỳnh Phú Số. “Later, I will be absent for a long time. Then when the people die en masse that they can’t be buried fast enough, I will come back. Whomever I sprinkle the water on will be healed. This is the time I save my disciples and followers. After that, I will be absent for 10 days, so that they may pay their karma. At that time, the sky will be very dark. Water will rise up to these two hemp trees. At that time, Manjushri Bodhisattva will come down to save the people. After the flood, Heaven will send fire to purify the world, which will burn three feet into the Earth’s surface, turning it all red as brick. After the Kali Yuga ends, God and Buddha will use miracles to re-establish the Golden Age. At that time, the true practitioners will have: The compassionate Manjushri Bodhisattva, Rowing the Wisdom boat to save the drowning. Royal boat sails smoothly in the wind, Picking up the practitioners who will enjoy glory and honor.” “My duty is to teach the Tao to save people, not to cure sickness. But people do not understand and keep asking me for medicine, thus I had to reluctantly use some leaves and cold water to help them, so that they had a chance to be near me and listen to the Dharma, and then practice spiritually to escape suffering. However, later on, the sick will be so many, that no doctor can save them fast enough.”

Selections from The Astral City - Chapter 6: Precious Advice

00:13:22

Selections from The Astral City - Chapter 6: Precious Advice

"Man is not forsaken on Earth. He is a child of God engaged in constructive work, temporarily clothed in flesh. He is a student in a meritorious school, where he must learn to raise himself up. The human struggle is his opportunity, his set of tools, and his textbook." "How childish to imagine that the mere 'ringing down of the curtain' (physical death) would settle transcendental questions of the Infinite. One life is but a single act. One body - a garment. One century - a day. One task - an experience. One triumph - an acquisition. One death - a breath of renovation. How many lives, how many bodies, how many centuries, how many tasks, how many triumphs, how many deaths are still allotted to us?" These astounding messages from the spirits via a human medium convey the message of Spiritism. Numerous books have been written that provide insights into the afterlife and the soul’s immortality. One such volume is "Nosso Lar," or "The Astral City," by Spirit André Luiz through Spiritist medium Francisco Cândido Xavier. In "The Astral City," former medical doctor André Luiz speaks from the afterlife of his awakening and healing within a spiritual society near the Earth’s surface. This story describes not only the continuation of life beyond the physical body, but more importantly how Heaven cares for each and every human soul. “The only way to spiritual balance is to open your heart to the Divine Light. If you consider the necessary effort to be an oppressive burden or see the struggle for redemption as an imposition, it is a sure sign of spiritual blindness. The more you dwell on your own painful experiences, the more you bind yourself to them. You can be sure that the same Father whom shelters and watches over you will also care for your loved ones on Earth. We should certainly regard the family as a sacred institution, but always keep in mind that it is just a small branch of the Universal Family under the loving guidance of one Divine Father.”

From the White Buffalo Teachings by Chief Arvol Looking Horse, Part 2 of 2

Today, we continue with reading a selection from Chief Arvol Looking Horse’s book “White Buffalo Teachings.” He emphasizes more on the importance and urgency of a global healing, so that we can secure a brighter future for the generations yet to come. “Our Instructions from Wakan Tankan (the Great Spirit, the Great Mystery) tell us to promote global healing, to teach peace and harmony to the many Nations of Mother Earth and to begin both a Great Healing and a Great Forgiving. We must teach all Peoples that Mother Earth is not a resource, but the very Source of Life itself. Unless we do this, the powers of destruction will overwhelm us. So our generation has been put here to save all future generations. That’s why we hold this World Peace & Prayer Day each year since 1996 (June 21), because two years before that the White Buffalo Calf was born among us as a Sign both of Warning and of Deliverance. In a Prophecy, we were told we would be the key people to re-educate our relatives, teaching the medicines of balance and harmony that our Mother Earth needs to survive. That’s why I say that we are at a Crossroads, each of us and all of us – a Crossroads predicted in our Prophecies.” “White Buffalo Calf Woman’s spirit has announced her message of support in this time of great danger, and she continues to announce the message in the birth of each White Buffalo – each one of them a Sign, each one a fulfillment of ancient Prophecy as well as a new Prophecy for our times.”

Selections from "Thus Spake the Holy Mother (vegetarian)," Part 2 of 2

The Holy Mother is considered an uplifter of souls who maintained communion with God at all times, even while engaging in various daily activities. To her disciples, she was a teacher who removed their doubts, a mother whose loving kindness brought comfort, and a Divine presence that assured them of spiritual liberation. We now would like to share with you the uplifting sayings of Sri Sarada Devi, through an excerpt from “Thus Spake The Holy Mother.” “Spiritual practice means to keep the mind steady at His lotus feet and to be absorbed in His thoughts. When the desire arises in the mind to know anything, then pray to Him alone in a lonely place with tears in your eyes. He will remove all dirt and sorrow from your mind and will make you understand everything. Always discriminate. Try to realize that the outside object which is attracting your mind is impermanent, and turn your attention to God. Always try to do the Lord’s work and at the same time try to practice Japa (repeating holy mantras or God’s name) and meditation.”

Selections from the Holy Text of Tibetan Buddhism: Sixty Songs of Milarepa – Songs 11-13, Part 2 of 2

Today, we present to you an excerpt from the holy text of Tibetan Buddhism titled, "Sixty Songs of Milarepa.” “When the transience of life strikes deeply into one's heart One's thoughts and deeds will naturally accord with Dharma. If repeatedly and continuously one thinks about death, One can easily conquer the demons of laziness. No one knows when death will descend upon him - Just as this woman last night! Rechungpa, do not be harsh, and listen to your Guru! Behold, all manifestations in the outer world Are ephemeral like a dream last night! One feels utterly lost in sadness When one thinks of this passing dream. Rechungpa, have you completely wakened From this great puzzlement? Oh, the more I think of this, The more I aspire to Buddha and the Dharma. The pleasure-yearning human body is an ungrateful creditor. Whatever good you do to it, It always plants the seeds of pain. This human body is a bag of filth and dirt; Never be proud of it, Rechungpa, But listen to my song!"

Selection from Edgar Cayce’s Christ Consciousness: The Body is the Temple, Part 2 of 2

Selection from Edgar Cayce’s Christ Consciousness: The Body is the Temple, Part 2 of 2

We now continue with more enlightening excerpts, from Edgar Cayce's readings, including his answers to individuals' questions regarding wellness, and how our attitude and love towards ourselves and others affects our awareness of the Christ Consciousness as well as our mental and physical vibrancy. “When the Spirit of the Father, when the activities that the Christ - the Lord - gave to the sons of men - are made manifest in thine own life day by day, then ye become aware of His presence abiding in thee. Then, be not idle in that ye know; rather let it be an ACTIVE, POSITIVE influence in the experience of all. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good. In THIS way may YE know, may YE be aware of His presence within thee. Let's change it - in Him. Then there is little need for attempting to heal an ill body unless the mind, the purpose, the ideal of the entity is set in Him who is peace, life, hope and understanding. For He is indeed the Way and the Truth and the Light.”

The Call of Cosmic Evolution: Excerpts from “Leaves of Morya’s Garden” by Spiritual Messengers Nicholas and Helena Roerich (vegetarians), Part 2 of 2

“I bestow My Wisdom upon you. I am not a bridge built of promises, but verily the Light that calls to you. I teach love. My disciples must realize happiness in the love of Christ. Love can create universes. Love and Wisdom are equal.” “I expound happiness. I shall designate the path for the battle against the bazaar that is the present world. People have reached a dead end, but lightning will reveal the way out, And thunder will arouse the slumberers. Mountains have crashed to earth. Lakes have been drained of their waters. Cities have been engulfed by floods. Hunger shows its face. Yet has the spirit of humanity remained unmoved. Go, teach, stretch out the hand of aid! Seek happiness and exalt the spirit. Faith in self and the search for Truth create harmony.” “By Us and by you, together, is the spiritual culture built. The Truth of the world will stand firm. The Light will penetrate the darkness—I attest. The Gates of the Spiritual World are thrown open.” “I love being your Teacher in quests of the Spirit. The other world, where My days are, must kindle joy in yours.”

Stoic Philosophy is Applied in Humility - Excerpts from Epictetus’ Enchiridion, Part 1 of 2

Stoic Philosophy is Applied in Humility - Excerpts from Epictetus’ Enchiridion, Part 1 of 2

Epictetus was a Greek Stoic philosopher, who lived in the 1st and 2nd centuries CE. Epictetus, who led a simple lifestyle with very few possessions, taught a practical philosophy to help people lead meaningful lives. The detailed steps and techniques in this regard, presented in his teachings, illustrate Stoicism as a way of life. Epictetus’ teachings have had an immense influence throughout the centuries, including on the great philosopher and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, on early Christian moral thought, on current approaches in psychology and more, and continues to have an impact on many intellectuals, thinkers, and philosophers around the world. Today, we will read a selection from “The Enchiridion” by Epictetus, as we come to a better understanding of the many profound details and ethics in maintaining a spirit of moderation and humility, and in keeping a balanced relationship with the outside world and ourselves. “In every affair consider what precedes and what follows, and then undertake it. Otherwise, you will begin with spirit, indeed, careless of the consequences, and when these are developed, you will shamefully desist.…do not, like children, be now a philosopher, then a publican, then an orator, and then one of Caesar’s officers. These things are not consistent. You must be one man.” “Is your natural tie, then, to a good father? No, but to a father. Is a brother unjust? Well, preserve your own just relation toward him. Consider not what he does, but what you are to do to keep your own will in a state conformable to nature, for another cannot hurt you unless you please. You will then be hurt when you consent to be hurt. In this manner, therefore, if you accustom yourself to contemplate the relations of neighbor, citizen, commander, you can deduce from each the corresponding duties.” “Be assured that the essence of piety toward the gods lies in this — to form right opinions concerning them, as existing and as governing the universe justly and well. And fix yourself in this resolution, to obey them, and yield to them, and willingly follow them amidst all events, as being ruled by the most perfect wisdom. For thus you will never find fault with the gods, nor accuse them of neglecting you…”

Distributing God’s Wisdom: From the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

Distributing God’s Wisdom: From the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

We now continue with chapters 40 to 48 in “The Book of the Secrets of Enoch,” depicting Enoch being sent by God back to Earth, in order to distribute his knowledge-rich handwritings through his children, teaching them of the immeasurable greatness of the one and only Father. “The Lord with His hands having created man, in the likeness of His own face, the Lord made Him small and great. Whoever reviles the Ruler’s face, and abhors the Lord’s face, has despised the Lord’s face, and he who vents anger on any man without injury, the Lord’s great anger will cut him down, he who spits on the face of man reproachfully, will be cut down at the Lord’s great judgment. Blessed is the man who does not direct his heart with malice against any man, and helps the injured and condemned, and raises the broken down, and shall do charity to the needy, because on the day of the great judgment, every weight, every measure and every makeweight (will be) as in the market, that is to say (they are) hung on scales and stand in the market, (and every one) shall learn his own measure, and according to his measure shall take his reward.”“The Lord has placed the foundations in the unknown, and has spread forth Heavens visible (physical) and invisible (spiritual); He fixed the Earth on the waters, and created countless creatures, and who has counted the water and the foundation of the unfixed, or the dust of the earth, or the sand of the sea, or the drops of the rain, or the morning dew, or the wind’s breathings? Who has filled earth and sea, and the indissoluble winter? I cut the stars out of fire, and decorated Heaven, and put it in their midst.”“From the invisible (spiritual) He made all things visible (physical), Himself being invisible (spiritual). Thus I make known to you, my children, and distribute the books to your children, into all your generations, and amongst the nations who shall have the sense to fear God, let them receive them, and may they come to love them more than any food or Earthly sweets, and read them and apply themselves to them. And those who understand not the Lord, who fear not God, who accept not, but reject, who do not receive the (books), a terrible judgment awaits these. Blessed is the man who shall bear their yoke and shall drag them along, for he shall be released on the day of the Great Judgment.”

On Love: from Socrates’ Dialogue with Diotima of Mantinea in “Symposium” by Plato (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

The following lines are from Plato's work "Symposium," where Socrates recalls some of Diotima's accounts of Love. "Not even in the life, of the same individual there is succession and not absolute unity. Which is true not only of the body, but also of the soul, whose habits, tempers, opinions, desires, pleasures, pains, fears, never remain the same in anyone of us, but are always coming and going; and equally true of knowledge, and what is still more surprising to us mortals, not only do the sciences in general spring up and decay, so that in respect of them we are never the same; but each of them individually experiences a like change. For what is implied in the word ‘recollection,’ but the departure of knowledge, which is ever being forgotten, and is renewed and preserved by recollection, and appears to be the same although in reality new, according to that law of succession by which all mortal things are preserved, not absolutely the same, but by substitution, the old worn-out mortality leaving another new and similar existence behind unlike the divine, which is always the same and not another? " "But souls which are pregnant - for there certainly are men who are more creative in their souls than in their bodies, conceive that which is proper for the soul to conceive or contain. And what are these conceptions? - wisdom and virtue in general. And such creators are poets and all artists who are deserving of the name inventor. But the greatest and fairest sort of wisdom by far is that which is concerned with the ordering of states and families, and which is called temperance and justice."

Selections from "Thus Spake the Holy Mother (vegetarian)," Part 1 of 2

Sri Sarada Devi, the Holy Mother, was the Divine consort and first disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa. She conveyed a motherly simplicity, grace, quiet dignity, purity, selflessness, and all-embracing compassion, all of which provided comfort to her disciples and devotees. The Holy Mother is revered by Hindus as much as the mystic Sri Ramakrishna. She is thus worshipped and admired as one of the most important Saint mothers of all times. “Thus Spake The Holy Mother” is a compilation of the sayings of Sri Sarada Devi. This collection offers illumination and guidance for the soul yearning to re-connect with the Divine. “When will the grace of God descend on me? There is no such rule that grace of God will fall on one simply because one is practicing austerities. How does one get the vision of God? It is only through His grace. But one must practice meditation and Japa. That removes impurities from the mind. One must practice spiritual disciplines such as worship and so forth.”

Enlightenment: From The Way of Initiation by Dr. Rudolf Steiner (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

Enlightenment: From The Way of Initiation by Dr. Rudolf Steiner (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

“He who is in search of occult knowledge must fortify himself throughout the whole course of his efforts by the understanding, that after persevering for some time, he may have made suitable progress without becoming conscious of it in the precise way which he had expected. He who does not remember this, is likely to lose heart, and in a little while to abandon his efforts altogether. The mental powers and faculties about to be developed are at first, of the most subtle kind, and their nature differs entirely from the conceptions of them, which may be formed in the student’s mind. He has been accustomed to occupy himself with the physical world alone, and the mental and astral worlds seem to elude his gaze, and baffle his conceptions. It is, therefore, not remarkable if, at first, he fails to realize the new forces, mental and astral, which are developing in his own being. This is why it is dangerous to enter the path leading to occult knowledge without experienced guidance.”“The teacher can see the progress made by the pupil, long before the latter becomes conscious of it for himself. He sees the delicate organs of spiritual vision beginning to form themselves, before the pupil is aware of their existence, and a great part of the duties of the teacher consists in perpetual watchfulness, lest the disciple lose confidence, patience, and perseverance, before he becomes conscious of his own progress. The teacher, as we know, can confer upon the student no powers, which are not already latent within him, and his sole function is to assist in the awakening of slumbering faculties. But he may be a pillar of strength to him who strives to penetrate through darkness into the light.”“There are many who leave the occult path soon after setting foot upon it, because they are not immediately conscious of their own progress. And even when higher experiences begin to dawn upon the seeker, he is apt to regard them as illusions, because he had anticipated them quite differently. He loses courage, either because he regards these first experiences as of no value, or because they appear so insignificant that he has no hope of their leading to any appreciable results within a measurable time. Courage and self-confidence are the two lamps, which must never be allowed to burn themselves out on the pathway to the occult. He who cannot patiently repeat an exercise, which has failed for an apparently unlimited number of times, will never travel far.”

Selections from the Writings of Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2 – Words of Advice

Today, we present to you an excerpt from the writings of Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche, “Words of Advice.” “Listen well, my dear disciples who are gathered here, For all those whose hearts have not been spoiled, consider this: The chances of finding a human existence are one in a hundred. Now that you have found one, if you fail to practice the sublime Dharma, How could you possibly expect to find such an opportunity again? This is why it is crucial that you take advantage of your situation. Conceiving of your body as a servant or a thing to ferry you about, Do not allow it to rest in idleness for even a single moment; Use it well, spurring on your entire body, speech and mind to virtue. You might spend your whole life pursuing only food and clothing, With great effort and without regard for suffering or harmful deeds, But when you die you cannot take even a single thing with you – consider this well. The clothing and alms needed to keep you alive are all you need. You might dine on the finest meal of delicious meat and alcohol, But it all turns into something impure the very next morning, And there is nothing more to it all than that. So be content with life-sustaining provisions and simple clothes, And be a loser when it comes to food, clothing and conversation. If you do not reflect on death and impermanence, There will be no way to practice Dharma purely, Practice will remain an aspiration, one that is constantly postponed, And you may feel regret the day that death comes, but by then it will be too late!”

The Reunion of Souls, Part 5 of 11

00:24:29

The Reunion of Souls, Part 5 of 11

I am here today with the honor of God’s permission and endowment to remind us, our fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, and little brothers and little sisters, that we should remember our whole being, and I’ll show you how. It is very simple to remember, more simple than breathing, more simple than eating.Hallo. Thank you so much! God bless you! Thank you. I am very, very touched and honored. Thank God for giving me this chance to visit your beautiful land and getting to know your beautiful races of people, and thank you for coming. I guess everybody’s very touched, so I also thank the New Zealand brothers and sisters who have been working very hard to make this beautiful evening a special memory. Thank you, and God bless your land, your people, and bless all the wishes that you have in your dreams. If you already know what you want to ask, you can write it already, and hand it out so that we can answer right away later, yeah? You don’t have to wait until we finish. So somebody can walk up and down and collect the questions.Alright! Because you know already before I begin. I think you know why you are here. Everyone wants to know what God is and everyone wants to know where we come from, and that’s the reason why we came here actually. That’s the reason why we came to this planet, the so-called planet, physical planet, even though at the same time, we are connected with Heaven, and spiritual planets, if we call that. But because we have forgotten the connection, so, many of us, or most of us, have just recognized this physical presence and this physical life we call human life.In fact, we are not just human, we are also spiritual beings – we are highly developed beings. At the same time we are living here, we are also living in different levels of consciousness – we are also doing so many great things – but it is difficult for most of us to realize that. Our ancestors, for example, the ancestors of the Maori people that you have just seen, they have sung so beautiful songs so spiritually developed, so highly elevated, so ‘souly’ songs, because our ancestors have known a different level of spirituality than some of us do today. But we still can develop this quality again... Not really develop – we can still remember it again, because what we once had, we will not lose it; it’s just sometimes we forget. So, in order for us to remember, we should... I will give you some practical experience after I explain a little, if you would like to, because if we experience it ourselves, it’s better than thousands of theoretical words. But I feel I should introduce it a little bit, even though God is not to be explained in language. But just like the Maori ancestors, they have known God, they have known spiritual levels that exceed our language, that go beyond our ordinary understanding, therefore, they could express themselves in poetry, in music, in songs, which are so beautiful, so out of the ordinary, and so touching to the soul when you hear it. It is because they expressed their own inner level of enlightenment. For lack of this inner enlightenment, or because of forgetting this inner enlightenment and our true Selves, we often cannot express ourselves in beautiful ways, in the way that we would like ourselves to express, and we sometimes could not behave or react in such a way that we would like ourselves to do. It is because we have forgotten the inner connection. We have forgotten that our lives, our so-called being, is greater, greater, longer and higher and more, more, more, more, more multiple facets, multiple qualities, multiple expressions than just this physical being that we know ourselves to be; we have forgotten that. For example, for example, the whole being here is me, from head to toe, yes, the whole being. I am not just the toe, I am not just the finger, I am not just the forehead – the whole being is me, but if I just remember my toes or my fingers, then I am not complete. Then it’s not me, it’s not complete. Similarly, if we just remember that we are a physical human being, then we are not complete.I am here today with the honor of God’s permission and endowment to remind us, our fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, and little brothers and little sisters, that we should remember our whole being, and I’ll show you how. It is very simple to remember, more simple than breathing, more simple than eating. Breathing, sometimes we have difficulty. If we have a blocked nose, we can’t breathe. Eating, if we have indigestion, we can’t eat, or if we don’t have enough money to buy food, we’re also in trouble. But spiritual wealth is always there. We always have it. It’s just we’re too busy looking at the outside, remembering our physical body, taking care of too many mundane duties. The world makes us very, very concentrated in the physical and material aspects, that we have hardly time to remember our 99% of our being, which is higher, greater, more powerful, more miraculous, more wondrous, more everything... more holy, more divine, more beautiful, more happy, more blessed, more blissful – everything that is Godly, that is us.All the teachers have come here, They told us like that: that we are the temple of God and God lives here, God lives there. So all we see here is God, or at least God’s manifestation, individually, differently. But we have forgotten that God quality, that God Nature of ourselves. We just remember this small part of our being which is the human side of ourselves, just like because I like this ring so much, I keep looking at the ring and I just remember this finger all the time and I forget everything else about myself. And this is not how we should do it. So that is why we don’t know God, because we have forgotten to look where we should look. That is all. That is why we often tell people “enlightenment is immediate” because you are already there. Suppose I am sitting here and I’m looking at the finger now. How long does it take me to know myself, if I don’t look here? How long does it take me? One second, right? Not even. As long as I don’t look here, I remember again, “Ah! Here I am! All of this is me!” Yes! It’s very simple; therefore, no one is your teacher.I’m not coming here to be your teacher, because you are already divine. I had also forgotten. At the age of three or four, we begin to forget. Sorry! My English is getting rotten! You see? Even English I’ve forgotten, because I speak so many languages everyday, Chinese, Vietnamese, sometimes German, sometimes French, you know, everything, and I forgot English also. Similarly, I even forgot Vietnamese! Yeah! I don’t speak as fluently as when I was in Vietnam, and I don’t speak Chinese as fluently as when I was still in Taiwan. Because we’re out of practice. Similarly, if we do not try to remember the great being that we truly are, then we will forget, and that’s why it is very easy to forget; and also, it is easy to remember. I am coming here to remind you of the good news that I have remembered, that I have remembered myself. So we can all remember anytime we want, and should we choose to stay in forgetfulness, this is also fine. It is also fine because you are divine, you are God. I’m sorry if I might shock you in any way, but that’s what you are.If you don’t believe me, look back in the Bible. And the Buddhist scriptures say “you are the Buddha,” “Buddha Nature is inside you.” The Bible says God lives within this temple, so who is in there? Who else, except God? If we are only the temple and God is the only one who lives in there, who are we then, except we are God? OK, we don’t remember, fine, but we still are God. So, whatever we choose to do, the God of all Gods that we are, respects that. The Father of all of these beings, which we are, respects our wish and our choice to live, to express our divine Selves in whichever way we want. That is why Jesus told us we do not judge people, because we do not know what is the path that being has chosen to walk. He does his things so that he may come to know God in a different way: he might choose to be a seemingly bad person; he might choose to be a seemingly very lowly person; he might choose to be, seemingly, a very so-called immoral person, but that is his way of knowing the divine. By choosing to be ungodly, he will one day know that this is not him; he has to go back and learn the whole being again.Because if we always stay in Heaven and we are God all the time, we will not recognize ourselves as God. So, we need to lower ourselves, for example, come down to this physical level, so that we can once again recognize the greatness of ourselves. That is our choice, and that’s why we came here. So the answer to our question, “why are we here?” is because we want to know God. So, when we feel that the time is up, it’s the time that we choose to remember ourselves again, that is the time when we come to seek out spiritual friends, spiritual groups or maybe spiritual teachers, as we call them, so that we can remember quickly. Because we have forgotten how to remember and where to look for, so some friends who had already remembered himself or herself may be able to help us, and then we recognize that we are nothing else but the Supreme Being, but God. We recognize the Supreme Being that lives, that is housed within this body. But actually, Hes is not housed within the body; Hes houses our body. But then again, because spiritual terminology is never a very exact science, so no matter how much a teacher tells us about God, how eloquently a spiritual friend might express about the Divine being within ourselves, we cannot just understand by listening. So, the spiritual friend or teacher or the guide or a friend has to show us practically, not just theoretically. For example, when Jesus came to our planet, He taught His disciples both ways – theoretical way and practical way – and that’s why later His immediate disciples could also do wonders, could also see Heaven, could also hear the voice of God – the Word of the Creator – could also see the Light of Heaven, could ascend to Heaven and even see the angels or see the Father. The Father spoke to them like the Father spoke to Moses; and the angels also spoke to them. Likewise, we could do that, because as great as Jesus’ disciples, we are also great. We and Jesus’ disciples are the same, equally, because Jesus said to us that we are all children of God. But because we have forgotten, so, sometimes one friend, two friends have to come to remind us; but only when we are ready, because if we are not ready, no one can do much for us.
