In today’s news, United Nations Population Fund provides assistance to flood-affected women in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, an alarming report shows that three billion animals were affected by Australian forest fires, Chinese and German automakers collaborate to develop next generation hybrid vehicles, plant-derived COVID-19 vaccine may be available soon, senior citizen completes 1,000-mile charity walk in United Kingdom, vegan investment fund lists on Canadian stock market, and compassionate individuals aid injured elephant in Zimbabwe.

United Nations agency supports flood-affected women and young girls in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Âu Lạc (Vietnam) donated US$540,000 to assist more than 1.3 million women of child-bearing age in six central provinces of the country that were affected by recent severe floods and landslides. The UNFPA has distributed Dignity Kits with much-needed hygiene items, in addition to essential medical equipment to monitor the health of expecting mothers. Furthermore, mobile and outreach reproductive health services are being delivered to support women’s safety in flood-affected areas. We appreciate the thoughtful actions of the UNFPA. May the gentle citizens of Âu Lạc (Vietnam) quickly restore their daily lives, in Heaven’s eternal love.

Three billion animals affected by Australian forest fires.

A report commissioned by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Australia has determined that an estimated 2.46 billion reptiles, 143 million mammals, 181 million birds, and 51 million frogs were victims of the devastating forest fires in 2019 and 2020. In particular, the koala population suffered extensively, with over 60,000 of them losing their lives or being misplaced. Their numbers were already in decline before the fires arrived due to land clearing for livestock grazing and other uses. In response, WWF has initiated a forest restoration project with the goal of doubling the iconic marsupials’ population in eastern Australia by 2050. Thank you, World Wildlife Fund for Nature, for your report and conservation efforts. We pray that the world’s governments will soon ban all meat so the planet and its tenants can return to a balanced state, in the grace of the Providence.

Up next on Noteworthy News, Chinese and German automakers collaborate to develop next generation hybrid vehicles. We thank all the artisans who make non-alcoholic beers and beverages for people to enjoy a healthier lifestyle. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more thoughtful news.

Hooray, treasured friends, it’s me, Molly the vegan Moose! What would you say if I told you I’m cute and adorable? “Of course you are, Molly!” What will your reaction be when I say that being on a vegan diet fills my heart with love? “Ooh, I want to feel that too!” All right, then, what are you waiting for? Join the vegan trend! I have a relaxing tip for you today. You may be in need of a massage after a long day. Use a tennis ball to relax your muscles by lightly rolling your fatigued feet over it. You can also place the tennis ball between your shoulders and lean against a wall or lie on the floor and gradually move from side to side or up and down. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Chinese and German companies collaborate on next-generation hybrid vehicles.

Geely, the Chinese parent company of Volvo Cars, and Daimler, German parent of Mercedes-Benz, will partner on more eco-friendly hybrid and electric powertrains, which are the energy transferring systems for vehicles. The goal of the collaboration is to speed up the shift to emissions-free driving, and will help to make the production more cost-efficient. The new unit at Mercedes-Benz named Mercedes-Benz Drive Systems will lead the joint endeavor, which will potentially include areas such as efficiency measures, sourcing of parts and materials, engineering, and industrialization. Exciting news, Geely and Daimler. May your collaboration help lead the way towards emissions-free driving, in Divine guidance.

Canadian company produces plant-derived COVID-19 vaccine.

Quebec City-headquartered plant-based biopharmaceutical company Medicago recently completed phase 1 trials of a COVID-19 vaccine that is made by using plants instead of relying on traditional methods involving chicken eggs or other organisms. The easily grown plant is made to produce virus-like particles (VLP), which though harmless can mimic the outer shell of the COVID-19 virus and thus be recognized by the human immune system. All 180 participants in the phase 1 trial had a significant immune response. If phase 2 and 3 of the trials are also a success, the vaccine could be ready by the summer of 2021. Based on an agreement with the Canadian government, if the vaccine is approved, the company will supply the nation with up to 76 million doses. Exceptional news, Medicago, on the promising initial trial of your plant-based COVID-19 vaccine. May Heaven’s blessings shine on you as more ethical and efficient vaccine solutions become available for all to benefit.

British senior citizen walks to raise funds for hospital.

86-year-young Peter Murray of London, United Kingdom completed walking 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) to fundraise for Whipps Cross University Hospital, where his late sister had been treated for a number of health problems. He said, “I wanted to do something nice for the hospital after the kind care that my twin sister received during her time there.” Mr. Murray was inspired by Shining World Compassion Award laureate Captain Tom Moore, who also walked in support of the National Health Service’s charities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning his campaign in May, caring Mr. Murray has since raised more than £7,000 with over 500 contributors, and plans to continue doing walks for other good causes. The kind gentleman also supports other charitable projects locally and in Africa. We are cheering you on, Peter Murray! May your dedication also inspire others to do noble deeds, in brotherly spirit.

Injured elephant in Zimbabwe saved by caring team.

Elephant mom Martha was spotted limping as she wandered in the Musango Island Safari Camp near Lake Kariba with her calf. A poacher’s wire snare deeply embedded in her left front leg had become infected, causing extreme pain. After being contacted by the Safari Camp’s owner, ecologist Catherine Norton led a rescue operation in which Martha was sedated while the wire was removed. The wound was then cleansed and antibiotics administered. The intervention saved not only Martha’s life, but also that of her youngster, who would have been too young to survive without her mom. We tearfully wish all the best of health and safety for sweet Martha and her baby. Our gratitude for your loving actions, Catherine Norton and colleagues. In Heaven’s compassion, may our treasured wildlife soon be able to live in total peace and protection.

We found a joke for you. If you don’t laugh, it will make us sad. So please try. It’s called “Missed Plane”.

A couple arrived at the boarding gate just in time to see their plane taking off.

“To be honest, I think, if it didn’t take you so much time in getting ready, we wouldn’t have missed the plane...”

“And if you wouldn’t have rushed me, we wouldn’t have so long to wait until the next flight.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Little Cherry in China:

Hallo Master, I am a third-grade primary school student in China. I am very happy to write to You. Thank You for bringing us Supreme Master Television to let us know that veganism is important to the environment and can save the planet. My favorite show is the Joke of the Day. I also watch cooking shows on Supreme Master Television with great interest. You also teach us many principles on how to be a good person and secrets of the universe, which I didn’t know before and love to listen to now. I watch Supreme Master Television every day whenever I have time. I listen to what You say very attentively. I also really want to be a vegan and follow You and learn from You. Little Cherry from China

Lovely Little Cherry, Thank you for your wonderful message!

Master has a reply for you: “Kind-hearted Little Cherry, I’m so glad you enjoy watching Supreme Master Television. Keep it up! If you want to be vegan, explain the reasons to your parents such as you love animals and want to be healthy. You can show them some of the many programs on our channel on why being plant-based is the best choice. Learn to cook delicious dishes for your family too, if you can. May Heaven always keep you on the noble path. Much love to you, your loved ones and generous China.”
