In today’s news, Germany helps strengthen health services in Somalia, coalition of health professionals from the United Kingdom call for meat tax, World Food Programme explores using remote-controlled trucks for deliveries, Pyongyang introduces smoking bans in public spaces, five-year-old girl sells paintings to raise money for her local animal shelter, searches for “vegan food near me” increases dramatically worldwide, and animal welfare groups collaborate to launch largest animal rescue flight in history.

Germany, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award laureate, continues to help strengthen health care in Somalia.

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, through the German Development Bank, has donated an additional €7.2 million to UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) to enhance health services and systems in Puntland, northeastern Somalia. This brings Germany’s current total contribution to Puntland to €23.5 million. UNICEF is working with local partners and authorities to ensure uninterrupted basic health care during the COVID-19 outbreak. Focus will be placed on hospital and health centers, as well as on maternal and child health, immunization, and treating common illnesses that will benefit more than one million people, including 250,000 youngsters. We are grateful, Germany and UNICEF, for your ongoing support of our brothers and sisters in Somalia, especially for the vulnerable children. May all those less fortunate be protected and thrive, in the infinite mercy of the Providence

Coalition of health professionals from the United Kingdom call for meat tax in new report.

The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change (UKHACC), whose members include 10 Royal Colleges of medicine and nursing, the British Medical Association, and the medical journal Lancet, has called for a climate tax to be placed on meat by 2025 to curb consumption and protect the planet. Stating that the climate crisis cannot be solved without such intervention, the Alliance also recommends public information campaigns, labels revealing a food’s environmental footprint, and £2 billion spent yearly on catering at certain public institutions to meet sustainability guidelines. UKHACC’s report co-author Kristin Bash said, “The climate crisis isn’t something we should see as far in the future. It’s time to take these issues seriously now.” Such good advice, UK Health Alliance on Climate Change, thank you. In Celestial wisdom, may the tax soon be implemented as more of the considerate British people make the smart vegan choice.

Up next, World Food Programme explores using remote-controlled trucks for deliveries. We’ll now take a little time to thank energy auditors who inspect residential and commercial buildings, and provide consultations on how to improve energy efficiency. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more noble news.

Hi selfless friends, it’s me, Giovanna the vegan Golden Tortoise Beetle! Because I am vegan, I protect many many beings. Come join me on this very worthwhile mission! Today we have a tip from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai that sounds so good for my next holiday snack. “For a tasty quick dish to enjoy alone or with rice: Chop to bite-size pieces a handful of Chinese cabbage, leave them in boiling water for a few minutes, or no need if you prefer it more crispy, then put them in an ovenproof dish or container. Double layer with vegan cheese, then pop it in a not-preheated mini oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Enjoy! God loves you kids!” We love You, Supreme Master Ching Hai, and many thanks for this yummy recipe we can’t wait to try! Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world!

World Food Programme explores using remote-controlled vehicles for deliveries.

The United Nations World Food Programme is collaborating with the German Aerospace Center and other technological partners to investigate the use of remote-controlled robotic trucks to bring supplies to areas that are hazardous to reach. A driver operates the vehicle remotely from a safe place, however, if radio communication is lost, the truck switches to automatic remote control, thanks to attached sensors which monitor the environment in real time. These robotic modes of transport can travel over almost any terrain including mud, water, one-meter-high obstacles and more, while helping protect drivers from diseases, unsafe roads, landmines, conflict areas and other unfavorable situations. Furthermore, it is more cost effective and environmentally friendly than using aerial deliveries. Our appreciation, World Food Programme, German Aerospace Center and participating partners, for your innovative project. May your robo-trucks help to save countless lives by bringing loving relief to those in need, in God’s grace.

Pyongyang, Korea introduces smoking bans in public spaces.

The Supreme People’s Assembly in Pyongyang, the unicameral legislature of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, has implemented a tobacco prohibition law that bans smoking on public transport and in venues such as schools, theaters, cinemas and medical facilities. Legal and social controls on the production and sales of cigarettes have been tightened, and those who violate the law will receive penalties. Through the new regulation, the government hopes to protect citizens’ health and provide them with more hygienic living environments. Our commendation, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, for helping ensure the well-being of your citizens. In Heaven’s eternal guidance, may all choose healthy habits for a happier life.

Five-year-old girl sells paintings to raise money for her local animal shelter.

Elliot Phillips-Hallock from Boise, Idaho, United States, loves animals, and has two dog and two cat companions as part of her family. Upon hearing that the Idaho Humane Society needed dog and cat food, she decided to sell her artwork so “people can be happy” and that the animals could “be safe and have fun.” Working over several days, Elliot created 50 paintings, which her mom Alyssa Hallock posted on social media. The delightful and vibrant artwork sold for a total of over US$900, and another US$100 was donated by an animal companion store. Sweet Elliot bought and dropped off three wagons full of food, toys, and supplies to the shelter where she got to meet all the animals she was helping. Generous Elliot, thank you for your love in action! May God bless you, your family and all involved, in the warm embrace of the Divine.

Coming up, online searches for “vegan food near me” increases dramatically worldwide. We’ll take a moment to send a prayer for our animal friends waiting at the shelters, that they may soon be adopted into loving forever homes. More forward-thinking news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Beautiful News for a Glorious World.

Searches for “vegan food near me” surge over 2,000% globally.

According to a report by United Kingdom-headquartered online greeting card company Thortful, who reviewed worldwide Google search data over the past five years, searches for several vegan-related phrases have increased dramatically. Besides the more than 2,000% jump in “vegan food near me” searches, “vegan food options near me” saw a significant growth of 1,250%, and “vegan café near me” rose by 1,500%. The countries with the biggest increase in vegan food interest were Singapore, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Many thanks, Thortful, for highlighting the amazing growth in vegan fare attention over the last five years. We pray that the exponential trend continues to accelerate as the world moves into the golden era of compassionate living, in Heaven’s radiance.

Animal welfare groups collaborate to launch largest animal rescue flight in history.

Greater Good Charities, John R. Peterson Foundation and Wings of Rescue, all United States-based nonprofits, teamed up to fly almost 600 canines and felines from overcrowded animal shelters in Hawaii, USA, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The move was to give the animal friends a chance to be adopted into forever homes in mainland USA. Dubbed “Paws Across the Pacific,” the team chartered a Hercules C-130 plane and boarded the animals from six shelters in Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and The Big Island, and landed in Seattle, Washington State. To ensure a smooth and safe journey, the airlift was done in coordination with the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association. Our warmest appreciation and Divine blessings, Greater Good Charities, John R. Peterson Foundation, Wings of Rescue, Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association and all involved. May the precious cats and dogs be graced by God with joyful futures, as we work to always protect and care for all cherished animal friends.

Hope you’ll find the following joke funny, well at least it’s free. It’s called, “Mom and Dad’s Gift.”

“Did you prepare something to give Mom and Dad for Christmas, Teddy?”

“Yes! A list of everything I want!”

And now we have a heartline from Hiền Hòa in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Warm greetings to the Supreme Master Television team. It is indeed an indescribable joy to be able to watch Supreme Master Television every day. I watched the “Multi-part Series on Ancient Predictions about our Planet” about the Savior, and there is a prediction about the Second Coming of Lord Jesus Christ. I once dreamed of Lord Jesus in His familiar garment and a Lady who wore a navy hat. Both of Them approached each other, then merged into one and flew to the sky. I was so elated to see such a beautiful scene and felt as if I was bathed in a refreshing rain filled with love. When I saw You in my vision, I recognized the aristocratic Lady wearing the Navy hat was Supreme Master Ching Hai, the Master whom I’d been looking for.

When I met You, after being initiated, I realized that Your eyes are very similar to Lord Jesus’ eyes. Hes has come back in another body! This is the greatest blessing for humanity. The time has come for humanity to recognize the Second Coming of the Lord Savior. My heart rejoices in the new Era that You have created. You have used many physical incarnations throughout the ages to awaken people to their Original Divine Self. Hiền Hòa from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Blessed Hiền Hòa, Our appreciation for your heartline and describing your wonderful vision! We are so pleased that Supreme Master Television brings you daily happiness. Indeed, we are unimaginably fortunate to be alive during this time while Master is on Earth. May God’s Grace forever be with you and the happy people of Âu Lạc (Vietnam), thus always knowing well-being and abundance. In Buddha’s Love and Light, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master also said: “Pure Hiền Hòa, your heart shines true, and I am pleased with your spiritual progress. Remember God always. Heaven’s boundless radiance to you and resilient Âu Lạc (Vietnam).”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

Thank you for spending time with us on Noteworthy News. May your heart be uplifted by Celestial melodies.
