Loving Hut Vegan Restaurant in Douala, Cameroon, Was Given Opportunity to Serve Vegan Meal to 250 People During Reception

The Loving Hut Vegan Restaurant in Douala, Cameroon, was given the opportunity to serve a vegan meal to 250 people during a reception. On March 26, 2026, the Loving Hut Vegan Restaurant in Douala, Cameroon, was approached by the deputy director of the French Institute of Cameroon in Douala to cater the opening reception organized by the Institute featuring the photographic work of Adama Sylla, born in 1934 in Dakar [Senegal], at the Mam de Bonanjo Gallery. A reception was hosted by the Institute for 250 guests from all walks of life.

The service was organized in two parts. At 5:00 PM, a reception for 50 VIPs, with the following vegan menu:

- 20 summer rolls

- 10 Mexican rolls

- 10 KFC (vegan)

- 30 burgers without fries

- 20 BBQ

- 10 scallion pancakes

From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, there was a reception for the general public. Two hundred people were expected. On the vegan menu:

- 25 summer rolls

- 30 Mexican rolls

- 20 KFC (vegan)

- 40 burgers without fries

- 35 BBQ

- 20 scallion pancakes

By the Grace and under the Guidance of our Beloved Master, everything went smoothly. The guests enjoyed themselves and ate well. Many, especially those trying a vegan meal for the first time, were surprised to have tasted such delicious and flavorful dishes. Some, after discovering that the restaurant was in town, promised to come to visit our restaurant. We thank the French Institute for placing their trust in us.
