In today’s news, Belgium contributes to demining in Syria and Iraq, potential seed of life on Earth discovered in meteorites, United States scientists study low-cost way to further cleanse treated wastewater, United Kingdom Space Agency wins sustainability award, American businessman pays past due utility bills for struggling households, report predicts vegan protein market will skyrocket, and Estonians honor much loved former stray dog with statue.Belgium supports demining efforts in Syria and Iraq. To help stabilize former conflict areas, Belgium has contributed €2 million to the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) to bolster mine-clearing activities in the two Middle Eastern states. In Iraq, the focus will be on Sinjjar, with both women and men and Yezidis and non-Yezidis working as deminers. Mine clearance saves lives as it opens a pathway for displaced individuals to return safely. Furthermore, it helps facilitate the restarting of agricultural production, rebuilding of basic infrastructure and resuming of economic activities. In addition to demining, UNMAS aids civilians by raising risk awareness and assisting victims. Belgium and UNMAS, we sincerely thank you for your kind care. May these endeavors bring much needed protection, safety and restoration of hope to the kind people of Syria and Iraq as they return home, in Allah’s boundless mercy.Researchers possibly closer to understanding life’s beginnings on Earth. Scientists from Japan and the United States, led by Dr. Yasuhiro Oba from Japan’s Hokkaido University, have discovered a key organic molecule in meteorites, or small parts of asteroids, that may have helped form other organic compounds used by life in Earth’s early history. The material, known as hexamethylenetetramine or HMT, was discovered in three different meteorites. The investigators hypothesize that HMT helped create biological molecules like amino acids on asteroids with liquid water and sufficient heat and arrived to Earth by falling meteorites. Such fascinating findings, Dr. Yasuhiro Oba and co-researchers, regarding how life possibly began on our planet. May your work eventually lead to a thorough understanding of the process of creation in the Cosmos, as we move deeper into discovering more about the blessed expressions of the Divine.Up next, United States scientists study low-cost way to further cleanse treated wastewater. We’ll now thank medical transcriptionists that transcribe reports dictated by physicians and other healthcare practitioners. We’ll be right back with more assuring news on Supreme Master Television.Good day, compassionate friends! I’m Saylor the vegan baby Stingray. Are you becoming a better person every day? I’ll bet you are, if your diet is vegan! Today’s tip comes from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai. “Want to try a delectable snack without much cooking and pot washing? Here it is: Peel and cut a good size potato into very thin strips, around 1/2 millimeter. Place them in a bowl, pour boiling water over it and cover for a few minutes. Strain out the water. Add some soya sauce or salt, a little sugar, a little lemon juice or vinegar, then a few drops of sesame oil. Mix well and enjoy. God loves you kids.” We love You, Supreme Master Ching Hai! Many thanks for this convenient and delicious snack idea. Thank you for your attention and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather.Researchers study inexpensive further filtering of treated wastewater that is used for irrigation. Penn State University scientists in the United States have investigated utilizing agricultural waste products to produce biochar, a charcoal type material, which can then be used to filter out pharmaceuticals that most US sewage plants cannot remove from contaminated water. During the study, cotton gin waste and guayule bagasse, a residue from a shrub cultivated to make latex, were used to produce the biochar, which then acted to filter a liquid that had three different pharmaceutical compounds added to it. The cotton gin waste was found to be the more effective of the two, removing 98% of docusate, a laxative, 74% of erythromycin, an antibiotic, and 70% of sulfapyridine a veterinary antibacterial medication. Thank you, Penn State University researchers, for conducting your promising study. May your work lead to more effective water filtering solutions to conserve our precious resources as well as to make our irrigation water free of all chemicals, in God’s benevolence.United Kingdom Space Agency wins sustainability award. The UK Space Agency has won the Sustainable Development Goals Award from the global network Group on Earth Observations (GEO), for its International Partnership Programme (IPP). Each year, the IPP puts €33 million into solving real-world problems that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by using satellite technology and data. So far, 43 projects in 47 countries across Africa, the Asia Pacific region and Latin America have been provided money for climate change adaptation, deforestation, and renewable energy initiatives, among others. In addition, a GEO award was given to an IPP initiative called D-MOSS that uses satellite and other data to predict dengue fever epidemics. Congratulations, United Kingdom Space Agency and D-MOSS, on your prestigious honors and thank you both for your dedicated work. May your diligent projects continue to help improve and save people’s lives worldwide, in Celestial goodness.Generous business owner pays vulnerable families’ overdue utility bills. In December 2020, Michael Esmond, the 74-year-young owner of Gulf Breeze Pools and Spas in Florida, United States, paid over US$7,600 to cover the overdue utility fees owed by 114 families. After 60-plus days of nonpayment, the services can be disconnected. In 2019, the caring gentleman similarly spent US$4,600 to help 36 struggling families. Mr. Esmond shared that their situation reminded him of when his home’s heat and power were shut off in December 1983 because he could not pay the bills. He also feels empathy for those who cannot afford utility fees because his community was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Sally in 2020. We are deeply touched by your kind heart, Michael Esmond. May your loving act inspire more people to reach out when others are in challenging situations, in the light of the Providence.Coming up, vegan protein market predicted to soar. Global research firm MarketsandMarkets’ new report predicts that by 2025, the vegan meat sector will be worth US$8.3 billion, up from its current value of US$4.3 billion. The growth will be driven by “growing vegan and flexitarian populations across the world” choosing plant-protein products due to their health benefits over their animal-based counterparts. Government programs and investments in the field will also play a role. The authors note that the North American region will see the biggest market expansion during the period. Many multinational corporations such as KFC, Burger King, McDonald’s and one of the world’s largest meat companies, Tyson, have all released vegan offerings. Our appreciation, MarketsandMarkets for analyzing the worldwide rise in demand for plant protein. In Heaven’s blessings, may the vegan trend quickly accelerate, so all our animal co-inhabitants will soon be free to live their lives in peace and dignity.Free-spirited dog’s statue touches hearts in Estonia. A sculpture of Zorik, a former stray dog, has been erected in Tallinn, Estonia’s capital, as a tribute to the love the canine brought to the many community members who fed and took care of him during the approximately 12 years he stayed in the city’s subdistrict of Kalamaja. Designed by a local artist and financed by donations, the statue honors all stray animals. It depicts Zorik with a small cat between his paws, as he used to enjoy spending time with the local felines. Although Zorik would not accept a traditional home in his younger years, he has now been placed with a family in the countryside. Zorik, we are delighted by the wonderful story of your love and life of bringing people together by touching their hearts. In God’s benevolent gaze, may your beautiful soul be forever blessed.Get ready for some instant laughter with the joke of the day entitled “New Hair Salon.” “Have you heard of the new hair salon called Karma?”“No, are clients happy with the hairdressers there?”“Well... let’s just say you get what you deserve if you decide to try them.”And now we have a heartline from Nga in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam: Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master Television team, One time when I came to Hsihu Ashram, I had a very wonderful experience while admiring the S.M. Celestial Jewelry "Seeing with the Soul" from the Third Eye; my soul seemed to be absorbed into the jewelry. I attained Samadhi and could comprehend the whole universe. Everything was as clear as the name and the design “Seeing with the Soul,” which has a translucent gem in the middle. In that nanosecond, I also realized that all Master’s Celestial Jewelry, paintings, and lamps are Heaven's Gates connected to the different Spiritual Levels according to the name Master gave to a specific design. Anyone who has the opportunity to see Master's designs will have their souls connected and be brought to those spiritual Levels, even if their minds and physical bodies are unaware of it. I wish Master great health and happiness always. May Your great mission soon be accomplished, and a vegan world will soon dawn on Earth. In today’s news, Global Fund supports unprecedented efforts to help prevent and treat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, United Nations finds increased food insecurity among mountain people, United States bioengineers invent five-minute COVID-19 tests, renewables producing electricity outpaced fossil fuels in 2020 in Europe, golden retriever dogs saved from slaughter by United States rescuers, New Zealand vegan milk factory to boost local economy, and United Kingdom firefighters report surge in animal rescue incidents.Global Fund supports unprecedented efforts to prevent and treat HIV, tuberculosis and malaria. In 2020, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria signed 157 grants totaling US$8.54 billion to prevent and treat these three contagious diseases as well as enhance healthcare systems in more than 100 countries. This number of grants approved and signed marks the highest they have ever given in any single year, as the Global Fund’s partnerships and sponsor countries worked quickly and urgently to allocate resources amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization had also approved US$980 million in additional funding to assist countries in their response to the challenges of COVID-19. Our heartfelt appreciation, Global Fund, for your timely work to help countries care for their people. May all diseases one day be a thing of the past as we look forward to a more benevolent and thus healthier future, in Heaven’s blessing.Food insecurity rises among mountain communities. A new report by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and partners has found that between 2000 and 2017, the number of hunger-affected people living in mountainous regions of developing countries increased from 243 million to nearly 350 million. This was driven largely by climate change-related disasters, ecosystem degradation, pollution, conflict and more. It was also mentioned that mountains host 30% of the key biodiversity areas on our planet and up to 80% of our freshwater. The study was meant to urge decision-makers and others involved to increase the security of the indigenous people and local communities, particularly vulnerable women and children. Thank you, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and partners, for your report. In God’s grace, we pray for peace and a stabilized climate to ensure the wellbeing of fellow humans.Up next, bioengineers in United States invent five-minute COVID-19 test. We’ll spend some time now to thank the electrician helpers, who assist by holding the tools and cleaning the equipment or working area. Please stay for more worthwhile news on Supreme Master Television.Hallo, adventurous viewers, I’m Blair the vegan Bilby. You can be the change you are waiting to see. Just go vegan – for yourself, the animals and the planet! I have a tip to share with you. If you are driving, you can make use of the waiting time at traffic lights to exercise. For example, work your arm muscles by firmly holding the steering wheel at the 10 and two o’clock positions, then press against it while straightening out your arms and leaning your back into the seat. You can also stretch your torso. While sitting tall, bend to the side and pause, with hands clasped behind the head. Repeat for both sides. Another move is to lift your heels, then roll back on them to work your leg muscles. Please remember to be safe and exercise only when the car is stopped! Thank you for your attention and love you a lot for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the worldwide weather.Bioengineers develop highly accurate five-minute COVID-19 test. A team of bioengineers from the University of Illinois in the United States have developed a highly accurate test for COVID-19 that can deliver the result in under five minutes. The small device utilizes a layer of graphene nanoplatelets over filter paper, along with a gold electrode. Swabs from a person’s mouth and nose are placed on the material, which then returns the result to a smartphone or LED screen. The new test can also measure how much virus was found in the sample to indicate how far the disease has progressed, and could even be used at home. Wonderful news, University of Illinois bioengineers, for your life-protecting invention that allows the fast and accurate detection of COVID-19. In Divine mercy, may a vegan world soon dawn so that pandemics will only exist in history books.Europe produced more renewable electrical energy than fossil fuels in 2020. According to an annual report co-published by esteemed research and analysis institutes Ember and Agora Energiewende, the European continent collectively delivered 38% renewable energy for electricity last year – one percent more than from the total fossil fuel production. This is a big leap for the renewable industry, which previously trailed behind traditional energy sources. Although COVID-19 is attributed to have caused a 4% decrease in power demand, the European Union has also rapidly implemented new wind and solar initiatives which contributed to this winning return. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Our applause, all European countries who have taken steps to increase their renewable outputs! May a compassion vegan food system also be developed along with the green technology so we can rise as a truly advanced civilization, in Heaven’s eyes.Golden retrievers from China find their forever homes in the United States. In a tireless rescue mission that took seven months, 20 golden retrievers, who had been on the streets and in danger of being slaughtered, finally arrived in Florida. Kristine Minerva and the non-profit Golden Rescue South Florida, whom she works for, accomplished the rescue after going through enormous amounts of paperwork, planning and obstacles. At one point during the strenuous five-day journey from China, an unexpected 50-hour flight delay in Taiwan required the dogs to be fed and monitored by the Taiwan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. All the dogs then finally met their eagerly waiting, newly adoptive parents. We are immensely grateful, Kristine Minerva and Golden Rescue South Florida, with special thanks to the adopting families, financial supporters, PETA and Taiwan SPCA. May all our beautiful four-legged friends be blessed to live in peace and love.Up next on Noteworthy News, New Zealand to host vegan milk factory. We’re going to take some time to send loving thoughts to our animal companions who unconditionally bring us much joy and blessings daily. We’ll return with more motivating news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Cheerful News for a Happier World.Vegan milk factory to be opened in New Zealand. The NZ Functional Foods company will soon build a carbon neutral vegan milk factory in the country’s Southland region. The plant will help to support the area’s economy by creating jobs and giving local farmers more diverse options, such as growing oats, hemp and peas, all of which can be used to make plant milks. Initially, the facility will produce oat milk from locally grown grain. The company has secured initial funding and is currently looking for more investors. Exceptional news, NZ Functional Foods and New Zealand farmers, on your upcoming vegan milk factory. In Divine support, may your project soon be operational as wholesome and delicious vegan milks from New Zealand make their way to store shelves.London firefighters report increase in animal rescue operations. United Kingdom’s London Fire Brigade (LFB) revealed that the number of animals saved by its firefighters has increased from 602 in 2019 to 755 in 2020, amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The rescued included mostly cats and birds, but also dogs, foxes, deer, horses and squirrels. According to the LFB, the more unusual incidents involved a squirrel stuck in a drainpipe and a lovebird unable to exit an office elevator. Dave O’Neill, LFB’s Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Technical Rescue Policy, explained that the increase in domestic animal rescue could be partly due to more animals being adopted during the pandemic, while the rise in wild animal cases could be attributed to more people spending time outdoors, and thus noticing animals in distress. Our sincere gratitude, London Fire Brigade and caring UK citizens, for aiding our animal friends in need. May we always safeguard them as we enter a new era of kindness, in God’s abiding love.Laughter can decrease stress and increase immunity, so let’s laugh together with the joke of the day called, “The English Exam.” After the English exam, Mrs. Moore decided to check on Harry:“How do you think you did on the exam, Harry?”“It was easy but question 5 was confusing to me.”“What was the question?”“What is the past tense of ‘think’? I thought and thought and thought and ended up writing ‘thinked.’ Now I just hope I got the answer correct...”?!And now we have a heartline from Lam in Holland: Dear Saints, In some of Her recent lectures, Master was saying how She got pain in Her fingertips when typing due to the electromagnetic field of Her laptop. Master also said that Her eyesight had become worse due to staring at Her laptop screen. I’m almost the same age as Master, and I had the same experiences as Master. I also cannot stand the electromagnetic field of my laptop on my fingertips and my eyes have also gotten worse from staring at the computer screen. I have found a simple solution for both problems. I use a wireless keyboard, and my laptop is connected by a HDMI cable to my TV, a big flat screen, so all small letters become big, hurrah! When I work, I sit in a comfortable chair or on the couch at about three meters distance, with my wireless keyboard in front of me. It is very convenient; I don’t need to wear reading glasses, and I don’t have the electromagnetic field on my fingertips anymore. I hope someone can arrange this for Master; I’m sure She will be happy with this solution. Oh, I forget to say that my mouse is also wireless. God Bless, Lam from HollandClever Lam, Thank you so much for sharing this marvelous idea that may make working on a laptop much more comfortable for our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and some of our viewers. Master works tirelessly to ensure that Supreme Master Television is of the very best quality and to protect our brave and loving animal friends. Like you, we truly wish Master vibrant health and well-being. May God bless you, your loved ones and beautiful Holland with peace, joy, and prosperity, Supreme Master TV teamP.S. Master has some words for you: “Inventive Lam, thank you for writing and thinking of my welfare. I appreciate the suggestions for working more comfortably with a laptop. When I can really settle down in a comfortable place with more helpers, we will try your advice right away. May you and the smart Dutch people remain resilient and strong, in the immense kindness of the Providence.”“UPDATE to good-hearted Lam: I have asked your brothers to send me these wireless, and I did install them myself since a few days with a screen monitor, not TV, to enlarge the words and images. It’s not difficult and no need for a big house. Just takes more time to adjust. It seems better now, as I am too sensitive to the PC's magnetic energy, even losing my arm muscles at an alarming rate and having pain in different parts of the body. Hoping this new arrangement will help to stop it! Hope our viewers will also try this way, and their health may improve. There is another choice they told me, that the plug-in cable for distancing from the PC is even better for health as the cordless still sends out some light amount of radiation. Also, there are various protective devices to try. At least it is a distance from the computer's magnetic field; one and a half meters is better already. I am trying it though the distance, can’t be three meters due to space limit. Thanks again for your loving note. Even though we are thousands of miles apart, you care. It’s very comforting to my heart. Bless you!”We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Veg-eating football legend achieves historic record

The brilliant Argentine footballer Lionel Messi made history recently by scoring his 644th goal for Barcelona, the team with whom he has spent his entire professional career. He thus surpassed the long-time record held by the legendary Brazilian player Pelé.Notably, the now 33-year-old Mr. Messi had tried a raw vegan diet in 2014 and was thus able to improve his game significantly by becoming lighter, faster and more agile. Nowadays, having largely given up meat from his diet, he reportedly follows a vegetarian diet at least during the football season, with plenty of organic vegetables, fruits, whole grains, seeds and nuts.Congratulations, Lionel Messi, and thanks for letting the public know about the positive veg factor in your athleticism. Wishing you many more plant-powered accomplishments, in Heaven’s grace.

Japan is donating around US$9 million to help Afghanistan vaccinate over 1.4 million infants, 3.1 million women, and approximately 10 million children under five. While assisting the nation in eradicating the poliovirus, the grant contributes to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal to ensure the health and well-being of people, especially youngsters. The funds will be distributed through the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and implemented by UNICEF, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health. Overall, Japan has granted around US$6.8 billion to support the country since 2001. Our thankfulness, Japan. In Divine light, may the spiritual Afghan people be endowed with lives of happiness and abundance.New COVID-19 variants spreading rapidly around the globe. Known as B.1.1.7, the mutation of the COVID-19 virus that caused a surge of infections in the United Kingdom since December 2020, has rapidly found its way to dozens of other nations in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. B.1.1.7 is up to 70% more contagious and has prompted many travel restrictions around the globe. Meanwhile, scientists are alarmed about another highly contagious strain of COVID-19 detected in South Africa, called 501.V2, because its outer structure may render the vaccines ineffective. Other countries that reported cases of this strain were Australia, France, Switzerland and Zambia. Our appreciation, all authorities and scientists who are diligently monitoring the new variants of COVID-19. We pray that all people will quickly leave animal products off their plates to halt this and future pandemics, in Heaven’s mercy.Up next, New Zealand aims for carbon neutrality in its public sector. Try it for yourself and your friends will feel the same about you! If you have stains on your cutting board that don’t seem to go away, a simple solution is to use lemon and sunlight. Squeeze the juice from half of a lemon onto the discolored areas on your cutting board, making sure to spread the juice all over the stains using the lemon peel. Then, take the cutting board outside where it can absorb plenty of sunlight for at least several hours. Finally, wash it with soapy water and you should see a difference! You can also repeat the steps as needed. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for your attention. Sustainable landscape design firm TechniSoil has created a method of turning discarded plastic into road building material that lasts up to three times longer than asphalt, is five times stronger, and resists cracking. Compared to the construction of traditional roads, the costs run 50% lower, traffic can resume the same day, and greenhouse gas emissions involved are reduced by 90%. Approximately 150,000 plastic bottles are used per 1.6 kilometers on a single lane, but the existing asphalt is also utilized, which saves disposing of it. TechniSoil calculates that by implementing this innovative system, all the plastic waste in the world that was bound for landfills or the oceans, could be consumed within eight years. Way to go, TechniSoil, on your waste-reducing technology. Wishing you the best of success as ventures such as yours help clean up our planet, in Celestial upliftment.Teacher from Georgia sells flowers to raise money for students’ e-learning. A team of researchers working with the international nonprofit Sea Shepherd Conservation Society may have discovered a previously unknown species of beaked whales. The scientists noticed a trio of distinctly unique whales surfacing and swimming around the Sea Shepherd’s boat near the Pacific coast of Mexico. While it is rare to see beaked whales in general, to meet a friendly group of this elusive species was even more unusual. By utilizing photographs, video and acoustical recordings of the aquatic mammals, as well as a genetic sampling taken from the environment, the team is set to verify the possible discovery of a new species. We are impressed and excited too by your remarkable encounter, researchers and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society! In God’s comforting gaze, may all our special animal co-inhabitants be forever cherished.Laughter is good for our health, so we chose a joke of the day for you called, “Twenty Years of Marriage.” After 20 years of marriage, a wife started complaining to her husband that he did not love her anymore. She begged him to seek advice from the local parish priest, and he complied. Afterwards, when he arrived home, he lifted her off her feet and carried her from one room to the other. Surprised, she exclaimed:“Oh! So you really do love me? What did the priest tell you?”“Well, he told me to carry my cross...”?!!And now we have a heartline from Emma in the United States: Dear Master, I recently watched the video where You had lovingly shared COVID-19 tips about being serious in taking precautions and wearing a mask. Master also spoke of snake issues in this and a previous video. I have read that there are certain essential oils which will repel snakes because they are very sensitive to smells. For example, it is mentioned that cinnamon oil and clove oil are good repellents. If concentrated enough, the oils might help to keep them away from Master’s vicinity. In the house, I use a diffuser with 10-15 drops of essential oil (more than the recommended amount) to repel ants and insects, refilling maybe two times per day to keep the smell concentrated. It has been very effective for us as it keeps them away naturally. I think for snakes, the essential oils will work the same way. I pray Heaven will help Master through everything. Emma from the United StatesBeloved Emma, We are very appreciative of the fact that you took the time to write to Master. Here is Her response to you: “Caring Emma, I am deeply touched that you care so much to help and protect me. It is a very loyal quality to wish for the safety of your Master. I thank you for the tip on snake repellents, and it may help save people’s lives as well. May you and the enterprising United States forever be protected and sheltered by Divine Grace.”We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineWe sure have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May Divine love and wisdom be your inner treasures.
