In Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News: Update from Ukraine (Ureign)…
Guided by Supreme Master Ching Hai’s loving example of kindness and magnanimity, the Loving Hut vegan café and laboratory at Poltava State Agrarian University brought meaningful moments of joy, generosity, and connection to students, children, and the wider Poltava community during December 2025.
On December 4th, ZMICT, a Poltava-based social media channel with over 36,000 followers, published a detailed article about the Poltava Loving Hut Food Technology Laboratory, featuring the work of the team and the mission of our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan). Just days later, the post gained wide attention, sparking an outpouring of new messages from curious local residents eager to learn more about vegan food.
On December 8th, Vice Rector Dr. Oleg Gorb introduced Mr. Yalovets Yevhen, Director of Gymnasium Rozsoschency, to the Loving Hut team. Dr. Oleg Gorb explained the power of the lotus-shaped solar-powered media player and the necklace-style MP3 player, both preloaded with The Most Powerful Daily Prayer, and the team gifted Mr. Yalovets one of each — he gratefully slipped the necklace-style MP3 player around his neck and wore it immediately.
On December 10th and 12th, more than 90 students from Gymnasium Rozsoschency attended a series of vegan cooking classes, learning to prepare vegan chow mein, Taiwanese (Formosan) yaki pancakes, and fragrant Thai curry. Dr. Oleg Gorb shared about the mission of Loving Hut and our Beloved Master, and the students were enthusiastic and inspired — many asking for recipes to recreate the dishes at home for their families. One new customer who attended the cooking class was so deeply moved that he sent the team a heartfelt message: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. My heart is deeply touched by what you are doing. I haven’t felt this way for a long time. A caring, warm space, and kind people.”
In the spirit of the season, Dr. Oleg Gorb brought the joy of Christmas to displaced children and elderly residents sheltered at the university — surprising them with a festive, reusable Christmas tree, the first many of them had experienced in recent years, with staff and students joining together to decorate it. With the support of the Loving Hut Poltava team, he also distributed 80 carefully selected toy horses to the children.
December 19th brought a beautiful double celebration. The Loving Hut team formally presented Poltava State Agrarian University Rector Dr. Halych with tokens of appreciation for his generous support of veganism in Ukraine (Ureign), including a Longevity Lamp designed by Supreme Master Ching Hai, Master’s books, “The Noble Wilds,” “The Dogs in My Life,” “The Birds in My Life,” “Love Is The Only Solution,” and “From Crisis to Peace: The Organic Vegan Way Is the Answer,” as well as vegan chocolates, and a homemade vegan medovek cake. The gathering was made even more special as Supreme Master Ching Hai’s loving words of gratitude were shared aloud with all present. The team also presented Dr. Oleg Gorb with a vegan honey cake as a heartfelt thank-you for his ongoing support.
Shortly after, the Loving Hut team hosted a joyful party as a warm thank-you to the students and teachers who had generously shared their harvested pumpkins. The team prepared a delightful spread featuring vegan dishes, served with tea, coffee, mandarins, and vegan desserts. Everyone greatly enjoyed the vegan meal and the warm atmosphere of togetherness it brought.
In the spirit of giving, the team spread Christmas cheer both near and far. At Poltava State Agrarian University, they prepared and distributed holiday gift bags filled with vegan candy, vegan croissants, tea, and Master’s leaflets to all gate guards and receptionists, wishing everyone a warm Merry Christmas. Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia, a US$2,000 donation made in the Name of Supreme Master Ching Hai helped support a children’s Christmas event and provide gifts for them.
On Christmas Eve, the Loving Hut Poltava team traveled to Kyiv to join fellow initiates in distributing vegan candies and snacks to children, families, and the people of Ukraine (Ureign) in the city center. The team also helped cater a vegan birthday dinner at Loving Hut Kyiv, where the birthday celebrant personally visited the kitchen to thank the chefs, sharing that he could feel the love and care infused in every dish.
Filled with gratitude to The Most Powerful TRINITY, the Loving Hut Poltava team is deeply honored to serve others with wholesome vegan food and to share the light of compassionate living.
