In today’s news, Ireland provides compassionate and generous help to under-nourished children via UNICEF, study warns global warming has made droughts in Northern Hemisphere more likely, Swedish scientist wins Nobel Prize for work on ancient humans, construction begins on bicycle path connecting Austrian capital city to Vienna International Airport, Canadian charity helps 200 Ukrainian refugees arrive in Canada, Princess wins award for her vegan designs and products, and dog-person missing for three months in Colorado, USA, found using drone technology.

In the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News from Mongolia…

Ireland makes a large donation to overcome lack of proper nutrition in children.

Malnutrition is the cause of 20% of deaths among children under the age of five in developing countries. To address this situation, the United States and UNICEF started an initiative to raise a total of US$450 million. The government of Ireland has allocated €50 million over the next three years to this fund, to provide food to children in the Horn of Africa who are in dire need. His Excellency Simon Coveney, Ireland’s Foreign Affairs Minister, also committed €65 million over the next three years, to help combat diseases such as malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis on the continent of Africa. Ireland is a recipient of a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion & Peace, a Shining World Leadership Award for Public Health Protection, and a laureate of a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion. Kudos, Ireland, for your heartfelt concern and generosity towards the precious youngsters in need. May all children grow healthily and happily, in God’s tender Care.

Research cautions climate change has raised probability of droughts in Northern Hemisphere.

In a new study, an international team of scientists with the World Weather Attribution initiative concluded that the human-induced climate crisis has increased the likelihood of low rainfall by at least 20 times in Western Central Europe, North America, China, and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere. Severe drought, which would historically only occur every 400 years, is now expected to happen every 20 years. As experienced during the summer of 2022, the devastating consequences of low rainfall include extreme heat and fires, water shortages, and severe crop losses. The study’s co-author, Professor Maarten van Aalst warned, “The impacts are very clear to people and are hitting hard… also in some of the richest parts of the world, like western central Europe.” Many thanks for the important analysis, Professor Maarten van Aalst and all World Weather Attribution scientists involved. To avoid unthinkable hardships caused by global warming, may everyone urgently switch to the climate-saving vegan lifestyle, in Divine goodness. Vegan = building a new life-foundation

Up next, Swedish scientist wins Nobel Prize for work on ancient humans. We’ll now take a moment to thank the flight simulator technicians who install, test and maintain flight simulation systems at aviation training centers which train pilots in near flight-like settings. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more outstanding news.

Hi, nature-loving friends, how have you been? I’m Mateo, a vegan prince from the Mountain Goat kingdom. Spectators always marvel at our agility and balance as we navigate almost vertical cliff faces with ease. Do you want to know our secret? It’s grass! Yes, we love the vegan diet and so will you. Today, I’ll share with you a kind health care tip from our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan). “Greetings, wonderfully created kids, do you know that peeing in the shower is bad for you? Research has advised that this habit will create a pattern of incontinence later in life, that anywhere you see an indication of water, not even a running tap, you will have an uncontrollable urge to pee. So we should stop that. God loves you kids.” Our love and thanks to our Gracious Master for this helpful, considerate advice! Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet, thus save the world! Thank you for your attention, and here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

Swedish geneticist wins Nobel Prize for his work on ancient humans.

Professor Svante Pääbo recently won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his unique discoveries about the genomes of current humans (Homo sapiens), and our ancestor relatives, the Neanderthals and Denisovans. Professor Pääbo identified a previously unknown human type, the Denisovans, who lived in areas of South East Asia, with modern-day humans having up to 6% of their DNA. The genetic inheritance from our extinct relatives has shaped modern humans as well. For example, Denisovan genes help people living at high altitudes survive with low levels of oxygen. His work also shows that when Homo sapiens arrived in Eurasia, Neanderthals and Denisovans were already living there. Our applause, Professor Svante Pääbo, on receiving the Nobel Prize for your fascinating work on ancient humans. In Celestial oneness, may your research into our ancestors help humanity live in peace with each other, as we honor the diversity in all beings.

Vienna to soon have a bicycle path leading to the airport.

A bicycle route from the capital city of Vienna in Austria to the nearby airport is currently being constructed, that will allow people to comfortably cycle away from cars all the way there and then board a plane. The road will be three meters wide and two kilometers long, and connect to the city’s already extensive cycling routes. It will be completed next year, as part of a European-wide endeavor to encourage people to switch to bikes. Way to go, Vienna, on your exciting new pathway that will enable people to ride directly to the airport. In Heaven’s illuminating guidance, may the development of our cities and societies always progress in a peaceful and beneficial way for all beings, as we take care of our precious planet and all its inhabitants.

Canadian couple from Calgary found nonprofit to aid Ukrainian refugees.

After learning of the war in Ukraine, Michael Garnett and his wife, Rebecca Rider, started a charity called Help From Canada, to assist Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Ukraine. They supported almost 200 impacted Ukrainians with travel to Canada, who would otherwise not have been able to afford the journey. Nastiia Hrybovska and Mykola Kovyrshyn were two lucky beneficiaries, arriving in Canada just before the birth of their baby girl, Milan. Mr. Kovyrshyn said, “We didn’t expect to be here... but our region and plans were destroyed, so we did what we had to do for our baby to be born somewhere safe.” The goodhearted couple continue to fundraise to help displaced Ukrainians build a new life in Canada. Our sincere appreciation, Michael Garnett and Rebecca Rider, for your loving acts of kindness towards the resilient Ukrainian people in their time of need. May you always be sheltered and blessed, in the everlasting love of the Providence. “Sure, go make war: cos u want people 2 see the ugliness inside u manifested outside as well.”

Coming up, Princess wins award for her vegan designs and products. We’ll just pause for a moment to thank the eye donors who agree to provide the gift of vision after passing on to those who have corneal blindness through corneal transplantation, where the receiver’s damaged or diseased cornea is replaced with donor’s corneal tissues. More conducive news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Encouraging News for a Happier World.

Drone helps dog-companion reunite with family after going missing for three months in Colorado, USA.

Farrah, a three-year-old Golden Retriever, was adopted by Taylor and Fili Salazar as an 8-week-old puppy. She was a devoted companion to Fili while he battled terminal cancer. A few months ago, the vehicle Farrah was travelling in crashed, and the frightened dog-person fled into the surrounding rural area. After nearly three months, Farrah was spotted by deputies of Fremont County in Colorado, with the help of a drone and infrared technology. Mrs. Salazar was ecstatic to be reunited with beloved Farrah, who is under veterinarian care for her malnourishment and injured leg. Well done, deputies of Fremont County and Taylor Salazar, for bringing sweet Farrah home. In God’s Grace, we wish Farrah a speedy recovery and many joyous years to come.

It’s now time to fill the room with some laughter energy with the joke of the day entitled, “The King Kong Show.”

“Have you watched the show about King Kong?”

“Yes!”

“Really? OK, then you should know this: Why did King Kong climb the Empire State Building?”

“Because he couldn’t fit in the elevator.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Chi-Hin in Hong Kong:

Respected and Beloved Master, Watching the news of the passing of Mr. Ramos, former President of the Philippines, I felt sad and with lots of emotions remembered his sense of justice and kind love...

Despite Master’s unrelenting sacrifice and dedication, a lot of people in the world still can’t change their meat-eating habit in time. Regardless of all this, Master, please don’t feel disappointed and discouraged. No matter how the world becomes, I will continue to support Master’s ideal. Justice will prevail one day. I hope that whenever Master feels disappointed, You remember some beautiful people and wonderful things in the world to somehow comfort Your heart. I appreciate the dedication of all the saints of the Supreme Master TV team. May Heaven always protect Master and you all! Chi-Hin from Hong Kong

Warmhearted Chi-Hin, Thank you for your encouraging heartline.

Master has a loving message for you: “Loving Chi-Hin, I am touched by your thoughtful message and your love and kindness. For your relief, I am happy to inform you, that PRESIDENT RAMOS is now in the low FOURTH LEVEL, forever freed from the cycle of suffering. It took a while, but he has made it, and will go further up in time. Thanks to God’s Grace. I will continue to do my best to help avert the catastrophic consequences for most of the humans on this planet. Still, everyone must participate in this on an individual level. People now must change their lives, take responsibility for their actions, and become vegan. I pray that everyone follows the peaceful vegan way of life to create a Paradise on Earth and a bright future for all. May you and majestic Hong Kong be elevated by the enlightening Grace of the Buddhas.”

“Let a person not give credence to the many rationalizations given to justify animal flesh eating. What word-jugglers say under the influence of their addictive craving for animal flesh is sophistic, delusional, and argumentative. What they imagine that they witnessed, heard, or suspected that the Blessed One has said, or another Buddha said or did, is grossly distorted.” ~ Mahaparinirvana Sutra (Buddhism)
