In today’s news, United Nations International Organization for Migration brings relief to vulnerable Afghan citizens, British study finds 14% of teenagers who had COVID-19 still have symptoms months later, Senegalese builders use traditional construction materials for better-insulated homes, Dutch university students develop solar-powered camper, US Marines rescue stranded motorist from rising flood waters, new Plant Based Treaty urges world leaders to embrace vegan food system, and volunteers rescue orphaned native baby bats in Queensland, Australia.

Afghan citizens the recipients of vital relief efforts.

The United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) is implementing aid for vulnerable individuals and families in Afghanistan. Due to conflict, the COVID-19 pandemic and drought, an estimated 5.5 million people in the country are internally displaced. The agency has responded with emergency shelters, blankets, kitchen sets and construction tools, as well as family reunification services and medical assistance that includes COVID-19 Rapid Response teams that test for the condition. The IOM’s construction of schools and water supply systems has also resumed as has the support of small business start-ups. The organization estimates the financial requirements for the multi-stakeholder Humanitarian Response Plan for Afghanistan in 2021 will total US$108.5 million. Our praises, International Organization for Migration and all collaborators, for these crucial endeavors to help at-risk Afghans. May Allah bless the Afghan people to soon flourish in peace and prosperity.

British researchers investigate prevalence of long COVID in teenagers.

A study from the United Kingdom, which was led by researchers from Public Health England and the University College London, has revealed that a minimum of 14% of people between the ages of 11 and 17 still had three or more symptoms 15 weeks after contracting COVID, which typically included unusual tiredness and headaches. Around 7% had at least five symptoms. The study involved 3,000-plus youth in England who had COVID between January and March 2021, along with a control group. No differences were found between the two groups in terms of mental health status. Thank you, British researchers, for helping to examine the extent of long COVID in teenagers. We pray that all affected may soon be healed as we enter a vegan future of good health, in Celestial oneness. Vegan: peace b upon u, man!

Up next, Senegalese builders use traditional construction materials for better insulation. We give thanks to the child care assistants who work with preschool teachers to ensure the well-being and safety of children. When we return, more distinguished news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television!

Hallo, beautiful friends, I’m Osmo the vegan Owl Monkey. My heart rests easy when I imagine a vegan world. Thanks 4 helping make my dream come true by being vegan too. Does your washing machine take too long to fill up with water? If so, I have a tip for you: clean the water inlet screens. To do this, unplug the machine’s power cord, turn off the water supply valves and pull the washer away from the wall. Set a bucket on the floor to catch water from the hoses when you undo them. If they’re too tight, use regular pliers to grab them. Once they’re off, you’ll see tiny filters sitting in the inlet valves, hot and cold. Gently remove them – using a finger or needle-nose pliers – clean the screens and put them back. If they are too clogged, damaged or refuse to come out, you can buy new ones at an appliance store. Thank you for tuning in. And love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Senegalese builders return to traditional methods.

Some builders in Senegal have started using earth to make bricks for houses due to their improved environmental benefits over concrete, as well as better insulation. Currently, concrete is widely used, however, the material transfers heat into the house quickly, and thus the homes need air-conditioning. Due to the higher mass of the earth bricks, as well as other qualities, homes are kept cooler for longer during the day, and the bricks release the heat slowly at night, making them ideal for areas with hot days and cool nights. Earth bricks also avoid the carbon emissions involved in producing cement that is an ingredient in concrete. Way to go, Senegalese builders, on your wise choice of construction materials that help save electricity and provide more comfortable homes for the people of your nation. In Allah’s immense Love, may the kindhearted Senegalese people prosper in peace and good health.

Dutch university students build solar-powered camper.

Students from the Solar Team Eindhoven at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands have developed a 100% solar-powered camper named Stella Vita. The vehicle uses a 60-kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery for storage that allows for traveling up to 730 kilometers on a good sunny day. With an expandable roof, the “house on wheels” has a shower and kitchen and can even fit a double-sized bed. Besides driving, the solar panels generate enough electricity for watching TV, making tea or coffee and charging electronic devices. The team is taking their RV on a month-long road trip of 3,000 kilometers from Eindhoven to Tarifa, Spain, and hopes to bring their product to market within the next five years. Way to go, Solar Team Eindhoven, on your cool innovation. May designs like yours inspire more sustainable travel options as we transition to a more planet-friendly world, in Divine wisdom.

Marine heroes save woman trapped in surprise flash flood.

A bus full of US Marines in Washington DC, United States, was heading home from a funeral service at Arlington National Cemetery when they spotted a vehicle stuck on the freeway in the rising water during a storm. The bus pulled over and six Marines in white trousers marched in knee-high water to the car and pushed it to safety. Virginia Waller-Torres, the driver, recorded her experience and posted it on social media, which quickly went viral with over 4 million views. Ms. Waller-Torres, whose father and grandfather were in the military, later met two of the six Marines and thanked them for their service. Corporal Jared Tosner humbly responded that they were just doing the right thing. Many thanks, caring US Marines, for lending a helping hand. We are so glad you are fine, Virginia Waller-Torres. May all men and women in uniform be blessed by God in their noble mission of protecting others. “[…] I just can't go on in my life knowing what's going on in the animal world and like, not doing anything about it.” ~ Billie Eilish (vegan) on veganism.

Coming up, new Plant Based Treaty urges world leaders to embrace vegan food system. We’ll just pause to appreciate the importance of minerals for our body, which help us to stay healthy. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Righteous News for a Moral World.

New vegan treaty calls for plant-based food system to dramatically decrease global emissions.

As an accompaniment to the Paris Agreement, the Plant Based Treaty, a new grassroots, landmark international campaign, is urging governments around the world to cooperate to truly address the urgent climate crisis by promoting a shift away from animal factories. Led by activists Dr. Anita Krajnc, Genelle Butler, and Nicola Harris, the treaty emphasizes three core principles: Relinquish, Redirect and Restore. Relinquish calls for the end to the expansion of the animal raising industry and its resultant environmental destruction and deforestation. Redirect encourages an active transition from animal-based food systems to plant-forward diets. Finally, Restore urges the restoration and protection of key ecosystems. Launched in nearly 100 town and city halls worldwide, the campaign will work towards having 10 million individuals endorse the treaty by 2023, ahead of the Global Stocktake of the Paris Agreement. Dr. Krajnc is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, and previously received a humble contribution of US$15,000 from Supreme Master Ching Hai toward her animal rights organizations Toronto Pig Save and the Animal Save Movement. Bravo, Plant Based Treaty advocates and all activists involved, for your heartfelt efforts to eliminate the main driver of climate change, animal factories. May your noble goal be quickly achieved as everyone turns vegan, in the grace of the Providence.

Rescue mission saves orphaned colony of baby bats.

An unknown disruption to a colony of little red flying foxes in Queensland, Australia’s Rockhampton Botanic Gardens left weeks-old pups abandoned and vulnerable. Without intervention, the orphaned young would have had little chance of survival against cold temperatures and predators. Volunteers of the non-profit Bat Rescue Inc. and other organizations, conducted a rescue mission spanning 500 kilometers using a cherry-picker to pluck the baby little red flying-foxes from treetops, and relocate them to foster homes in southeast Queensland. Dedicated carers are providing the needed love and attention for the surviving nine pups until they grow independent and are ready to be released back into the wild. Our heartfelt appreciation, Bat Rescue Inc. volunteers, foster families and all involved. May the little red flying foxes and all wildlife so important to our world’s thriving ecosystems be ever safeguarded and sheltered, in God’s Embrace.

Someone said life’s better when we’re more relaxed. So let’s chill out with this joke titled, “The Happiest Day Ever.”

Two friends were talking about another friend’s wedding.

“Alice said her wedding was the happiest day of her life.”

“She obviously has never had two vegan candy bars fall down at once from a vending machine!”

And now we have a heartline from Yen-En in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

When Supreme Master Television started broadcasting, sentient beings who needed help and the whole Universe were able to see Master. Supreme Master Television benefits the Universe. Animals love Supreme Master Television and Master. One snake who has magical power and changed to a vegan diet came to look for Master. I asked the snake, “Why are you looking for Master?” The snake said, “I have practiced for 100 years, but I couldn’t get liberation. I changed to the vegan diet, but I still couldn’t get liberation. I saw Light and found out about Master, so I want to listen to Master’s lectures.” I played Master’s teachings for him to listen for a day. Afterwards, the snake said, “I am about to leave. Thank you for sharing.” I told him, “Be grateful for Master’s Grace.” Animals know magical power is useless, and one needs to eat vegan and stop killing. Magical power is not good for spiritual practice. If one uses magical power for money, when the person passes away, the Lords of the Three Worlds will come to intercept them before Master comes to settle the karma from using magical power. One should not use white magic, let alone black magic. The Taoist master and I were good friends. He didn’t accept money from others and he invited others to eat vegan because he wanted to leave freely when he died. He got initiated and saw through the Five Realms. He said that we should not let magical power hinder our practice and magical power is not good for spiritual practice! I once advised a person who was proud of his wisdom not to use magical power. Even though he said he would not, he still used it secretly and collected money from others. When things went wrong, he asked me, “What should I do?” I told him, “Stay away from magical power, meditate and repent.” Master let me see how his karma from using magical power came back to him. He started getting sick to pay for the karma, because one needs to pay for the karma of using magical power. Sentient beings are all watching Supreme Master Television, so it is best to play Supreme Master Television 24 hours a day. When the souls of those who have passed away see Master, they can get liberated because they believe in Master. Simply because they changed to a vegan diet and believed in Master’s power, many souls said they were so happy to go with Master. Some non-initiates see Master’s Light and the Blessings Master has brought to the world, and they know that following Master, getting initiated, and practicing spiritually is the Blessing of supreme glory. Thank You, Master! Yen-En from Taiwan (Formosa)

Prudent Yen-En, It was fascinating to read your message. Thank you for reminding us to remain humble and avoid magic, as well as that so many sentient beings are constantly being blessed by Master. May Universal Love unite us all and bring miracles to you and the good-natured Taiwanese (Formosan) people. In Heaven’s Light, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master replies to you with heartfelt guidance: “Clear-sighted Yen-En, the greatest power is truly Love, not magic. With my loving support, I pray that you and the reflective citizens of Taiwan (Formosa) may be inspired and guided by the Godses to achieve your noble dreams.”
