In today’s news, India provides financial support for Cambodia’s landmine clearing project, northernmost United States city registers all-time high temperature, renewable energy to be the largest power source globally in two years, Kiribati reefs make stunning recovery following El Niño warming event, military doctors in Âu Lạc (also known as Vietnam) perform free cataract surgery in border areas, sustainability is changing the dog-people food industry in Germany, and cuddle a turkey at Gentle Barn in the united States.

India provides financial assistance to help Cambodia’s landmine removal efforts.

The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a US$426,000 contribution from the Government of India to help the country eliminate its explosive landmines, which are remnants of past conflicts. The donation by the Indian government will support Cambodia’s objective of becoming mine-free by 2025, and commemorates the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The demining project targets some districts in Koh Kong province, which have been designated by the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) and the Indian Embassy. India is a recipient of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Environmental Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Justice, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance and Protection. Our accolades, India, for your caring support in helping Cambodia become a safer country and thus saving many precious lives. May the benevolent people of Cambodia live in safety, bliss and health, in Buddha's infinite Mercy.

Northernmost town of Alaska sees record heat.

The National Weather Service (NWS) Fairbanks Alaska in the United States recently reported that Utqiagvik, located above the Arctic Circle, and one of the northernmost cities in the world, registered a record temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit on December 4, 2022. Alarmingly, data from the Climate Reanalyzer platform shows that the average temperature in the entire Arctic on that day was 11.5 degrees Fahrenheit higher than what was recorded from 1979 to 2000. Meanwhile, the National Snow and Ice Data Center revealed that the area of ice covering the Arctic Ocean in November 2022 was the eighth lowest on record. Rick Thoman, a climate specialist at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, explained that the warmer temperatures in the Arctic are partly due to sea ice loss, which is a result of the human-driven climate crisis. Many thanks for the timely warnings, NWS Fairbanks Alaska and Rick Thoman. In Celestial brilliance, may everyone urgently embrace the climate-smart vegan lifestyle to restore Mother Earth’s delicate balance. “Vegan: cos we r not a hellish entity.”

Up next on Noteworthy News, renewable energy to be the largest power source globally in two years. We will pause for a moment to thank community development volunteers, who provide food to homeless people, welcome migrants and refugees, as well as assist in natural disasters such as bushfires, floods, and droughts. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more energizing news.

Hi joyful friends, I’m Denise, a vegan mother from the Diana Monkey kingdom. I move smoothly among the trees and cherish the forest’s peaceful atmosphere. As I nurture my offspring the best I can, I also teach them to take care of our precious planet. I think this is the duty of all of us! Here's a parenting tip for you. If your child has separation anxiety, you can try to adjust their behavior by dealing with the issue in advance. Separation anxiety is typically activated by a big life change such as starting preschool. You can prepare your young one beforehand for their first school days, by taking them in to get to know their teachers, looking at their classroom, and getting familiar with their daily activities. Additionally, you should have a discussion with your child about their new school environment and what to expect. This will help them to be ready for their new life path. Thank you for your attention, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

Renewables to be the largest power source globally by 2025.

A new report by the International Energy Agency (IEA) reveals that the global power crisis has stimulated worldwide adoption and installation of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar. This surge of renewable power capacity is 30% higher than its 2022 predicted growth rate, and will comprise 90% of the planet’s electricity expansion in the next five years. It is expected to exceed coal as the world’s primary energy source as soon as early 2025. Researchers also noted that this trend of adopting renewable power has accelerated as countries seek secure sources of energy and to avoid the soaring costs of imported fuels caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (Ureign). Thank you, International Energy Agency, for this positive report. We pray that the world will soon pair these efforts of adopting clean energy with the swift transition to the plant-based lifestyle to successfully curb global warming, in the love of the Divine.

Coral reefs surrounding remote reefs in Kiribati have made a remarkable recovery.

In 2015 and 2016, a major warming event dubbed El Niño devastated the reefs surrounding the Southern Line Islands in Kiribati, causing half of the coral to die off. A return expedition in 2021 by the National Geographic’s Pristine Seas Expedition team revealed an almost full recovery of coral life with an estimated 43 to 53 million colonies per square mile. Researchers are elated at the good news, but cautioned that they don’t yet know the reefs’ ability to cope with future stressors. The Kiribati government has committed to prohibiting large scale commercial fishing in the region, which is now part of the Southern Line Islands Marine Protected Area (SLIMPA). Thank you, Kiribati, for your ongoing assurance to protect our previous coral reefs. May marine life and ecosystems continue their recovery, in the care and shelter of Heaven.

Collaborative effort brings free eye surgery to Âu Lạc (also known as Vietnam).

Army Corps 15 of The People’s Army in Âu Lạc (Vietnam) coordinated with Military Hospital 175, to perform free cataract surgery for 55 patients in the border areas of the Central Region of the country. The climate of this region, the windy and dusty environment, and people's living conditions are all factors that contribute to the development of eye diseases. The program, called “Brilliant eyes of Vietnamese,” included eye examinations and the provision of counseling about eye diseases to 225 people, as well as the free cataract surgery performed by army ophthalmologists. Our heartfelt thanks, to the military doctors in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), for paying attention to the wellbeing of citizens in far and remote areas. May Heaven bless you for your humanitarian actions that have strengthened their independence and health, in the love of the Providence. Vegan: cos we must survive.

Coming up, sustainability is changing the dog-people food industry in Germany. Let’s take a moment to be grateful for good politicians who run our country, making it safe and prosperous. We’ll be right back with more joyful news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Favorable News for a Brilliant World.

Germany’s animal-people companion food industry embraces sustainability.

Vegan canine-person food company, VEGDOG, recently received €3.5 million in capital from the Green Generation Fund (GGF), a well-known sustainable food investor. Founded in 2016, the German startup’s goal is to nourish dog-people with a 100% nutritionally complete and balanced plant-based diet that saves lives and protects the environment. Formulated by veterinarians, their quality vegan food, including dry and wet items, snacks, and supplements, quickly gained popularity. VEGDOG, achieved sales of €2.4 million in 2021 with a projection of €4 million in 2022, and was the winner of the international V-Label Award 2022. With the new funding round, the company will expand operations, create more jobs, introduce vegan dog-people’s food to the mainstream, and benefit all Earth residents. Thank you, VEGDOG, GGF and supporting partners, for further enhancing dog-person’s food. In Celestial blessings, we pray for your lasting success to develop more healthy, humane, and sustainable vegan delights for our animal friends.

Cuddle a turkey at United States animal-people rescue.

Gentle Barn, a vegan animal-person sanctuary, with branches in California, Missouri, and Tennessee, offers turkey friend cuddling to enthralled visitors. Founded by Ellie Laks (vegan), in 1999 the non-profit is currently home to over 200 farm animal-people, many of whom were rescued from live markets and slaughterhouses. One of the guests to the sanctuary, Barbara Slaine, had a turkey-person make her way into her lap, and contentedly snuggled with her. Barbara said, “It was just the sweetest moment — I could have sat with her forever.” The Gentle Barn also holds an annual Gentle Thanksgiving, where visitors can interact with the lovely turkey-people. Ellie said, “I wanted guests to walk away knowing they [the turkey-people] were sweet and kind creatures.” The sanctuary also offers cow-friend hug therapy. Gentle Barn is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, and Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has previously made humble contributions totaling US$30,000 to support its work. Thank you, Gentle Barn staff, volunteers, and animal-people residents, for inspiring compassion in all. May the noble Americans embrace our animal friends to create a peaceful planet, in God’s immense blessings.

Now, it's time to let go and surrender to some laughter with the following joke. This one's entitled, “The Purpose of a Watch.”

Cindy was always late for school. So, one day the teacher asked:

“Cindy, you don’t make to school on time ever. But you have a watch that I see you wear daily. Why have a watch then?”

“Well, I wouldn’t want to be too late.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Ni-Yun in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Hallo, Great Master, I’ve been following Master for more than two decades. Recently, during my meditation, I saw maya offering a pearl necklace to me. I immediately shook my head and rejected, saying, “No.” Right after that, my inner vision changed to a wall with worms climbing all over it.

Knowing that my husband was going to knock on my door soon to wake me up to prepare breakfast, I yelled out, “Hurry up!” I then began to recite the Five Holy Names that Master taught us during initiation. Then I saw a ray of strong and powerful Light, like a strong stream of water, flushing the wall, which was full of worms. In no time, the wall became clean and bright. It made me realize this was how our souls were cleansed by Light at the time of initiation.

Master has reminded the initiates to recite the Five Holy Names at all times to protect ourselves. How thoughtful Master is! The Five Holy Names are our protective shield, like a sword of justice, to keep us in good luck and avoid disasters. How much merit have we accumulated life after life to be able to receive initiation from Master? I’m so touched! I’d like to prostrate to Master, to whom I’m so much indebted, and express my gratitude. Thank You, Master, for never forsaking or giving up on me, but tirelessly taking care of me. I respectfully wish that Master’s wishes will be fulfilled soon. Respectfully, Ni-Yun, an initiate from Taiwan (Formosa)

True Ni-Yun, Your vision is a good reminder to all initiates to remember the Power of the Five Holy Names and repeat them as often as we can.

Master has this reply for you: “Relieved Ni-Yun, I send you my Love and am pleased that you understand the Power of the Five Holy Names. Be diligent, continue to practice spiritually well to cleanse the worldly contact, and increase your own protective power, as well as share the Divine blessings with your loved ones... and all in your surroundings! The inner Master is always with you; just remember to recite inside, as well as pray and meditate daily and you will remain connected. May you and the admirable Taiwanese (Formosan) people be infinitely blessed by Buddha’s abundant Light.”

Vegan side effect: feeling powerful inside out!
