In today’s news, United Nations agencies provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in Mexico, biologists warn Sixth Mass Extinction may have started, Mongolia to plant one billion trees to halt desertification, Swiss 3-D printing technology reduces concrete use, Canadian doctor delivers healthy baby aboard plane, Dutch alternative meat company now selling products to consumers in Singapore, and stranded horse-person rescued in United Kingdom.

United Nations assists asylum seekers in Mexico.

The number of people arriving to Mexico from the Caribbean and Central and South American countries seeking refuge has increased from 2,100 in 2014 to 123,000 between January and November in 2021. The International Organization for Migration (IOM), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), in collaboration with the Mexican government, are providing various types of support to migrants in Tapachula, Chiapas, which accounts for 70% of asylum applications. Services include food, shelter and healthcare as well as providing vital information to the arrivals. Specifically, the UNHCR is helping facilitate the processing of asylum applications by the government and operating relocation programs to take refugees to other parts of Mexico. Mexico is a Shining World Leadership Award for Environmental Protection laureate and recipient, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance laureate. Our warm gratitude, United Nations agencies and the Mexican government, for providing a safe haven for vulnerable migrants. In God’s Protection, may our displaced brothers and sisters find a bright future ahead with peace and security.

Biologists warn of Sixth Mass Extinction.

A 2022 study published in the journal “Biological Reviews” cautions that Earth may already be on its “sad trajectory” towards the Sixth Mass Extinction, and states that humanity is entirely responsible for it. According to the paper, the current extinction rates, particularly in terrestrial invertebrate-people, is far higher than the background rates. By extrapolating from studies on the species extinctions of those in the mollusc-person kingdom, the analysis concludes that Earth may have lost approximately 7.5 to 13%, or 150,000 to 260,000 of all two million known species since 1500. This estimate significantly exceeds the .04%, or 882 species recorded as extinct by the International Union for Conservation of Nature in 2020. The assessment highlights humanity’s “moral responsibility” to halt the current biodiversity crisis and calls for a revival of natural history and taxonomy studies. Many thanks, all scientists involved. May we support the survival of all life through our compassionate choices, in Heaven’s eternal care. “With the three means of punishment, words, thoughts and acts, ye shall not injure living things.” ~ Jaina Sutras (Jainism)

Up next, Mongolia to plant one billion trees to halt desertification. We’ll just pause to thank the airline cargo handlers who load and unload passengers’ luggage and transfer them between planes so that they reach their intended destination in a timely manner. We’ll be right back, with more cheerful news on Supreme Master Television.

Hooray, treasured friends, it’s me, Sura, a vegan artist from the Serval kingdom! Like clear water, my life flows in a benevolent way. And it’s as if I’m living in Heaven every day. I think you should definitely join me! I have a resourceful tip for you on how to repurpose used produce mesh bags by making them into pot scrubbers instead of throwing them in the garbage. First, gather 4 to 5 bags and cut off the labels and untie any knots. Next, clean the bags. Then, tie a knot at one end of a bag and turn it inside out to give it a smooth exterior surface. Open approximately 3-4 other produce mesh bags and fluff them. Then, stuff the knotted bag with the fluffed bags. Make a tight ball by twisting the bag and securing it with a double knot. Trim off the excess part of the bag coming from the knot. Now you can start scrubbing away! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Mongolia moves forward with One Billion Trees campaign.

Recently, the president of Mongolia, His Excellency Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, started a country-wide endeavor to plant one billion trees by 2030 to help halt desertification and address climate change. Over 21 entities within the nation have pledged to collectively plant more than 608 million saplings, while the environment and tourism department will provide the necessary advice on planting techniques. The plan will be realized in three phases: the preparatory stage until 2024, an intensification phase until 2026 and the final four years being for sustainable implementation. The nation is a signatory of the COP26 “Declaration on Forests and Land Use,” in which 141 countries committed to prevent and reverse forest loss and land degradation by 2030. Mongolia is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient. Our accolades, Mongolia and Your Excellency Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, on the vital green endeavor. In Buddha's blessings, may new forests blossom with life and make your beautiful nation a verdant paradise.

Swiss researchers reduce CO2 emissions by using 3D-printed foam to replace concrete.

Researchers from ETH Zurich have created a 3D-printed recyclable mineral foam to produce a pre-cast concrete slab, which requires 70% less cement, is lighter and better insulated. Their FoamWork technology uses 24 different mineral formwork elements to fill a rectangular slab mold. This results in a geometry that optimizes reinforcement along principal stress lines and generates necessary strength while the need for concrete decreases substantially. Architect Patrick Bedarf, a project researcher, commented, “Construction contributes significantly to CO2 emissions, with cement production alone responsible for 7% of emissions globally. With FoamWork, emissions through material consumption would be reduced in the concrete slab… and would reduce efforts for shipping and handling to construction sites.” A big applause, ETH Zurich, for your excellent eco-innovation. May all companies worldwide look to find sustainable solutions to help heal our planet, in the delight of the Providence.

Canadian doctor delivers healthy baby on Qatar Airways flight.

Dr. Aisha Khatib, a travel physician and assistant professor at the University of Toronto, was on a flight from Qatar to Uganda when she heard a call for doctors on board. A 35-week pregnant Ugandan passenger had felt serious abdominal pain and was ready to deliver a child. Dr. Khatib quickly ran to the scene, placing blankets underneath the mother and gathering all the essential tools. Luckily, an oncology nurse and pediatrician from Doctors Without Borders were also present and assisted her in safely delivering a baby girl. Touched by Dr. Aisha Khatib’s kindness, the mother named her daughter Miracle Aisha. The gentle physician also gave the baby her gold necklace, which had the name Aisha written on it in Arabic. Our sincere appreciation, Dr. Aisha Khatib and helpers, for your loving care. In Divine benevolence, may all babies in the womb develop healthily and be loved and protected. Vegan: let’s ignore no longer the anguish n utter suffering of the animal-people n rescue them all.

Coming up, Dutch alternative meat company now selling products to consumers in Singapore. We’ll pause to say a quick thank you to our local vegan bakery for adding more treats. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more exemplary news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Noble News for a United World.

Dutch alternative meat company expands offerings in Singapore.

The Netherlands-based The Vegetarian Butcher, which is owned by Unilever, recently started selling three of its vegan meat alternative products to consumers in Singapore. The delectable items are the Little Peckers, Chickened-Out Chunks, and Mince Charming and are sold online by Amazon as well as carried by the FairPrice Group, Cold Storage Singapore, and RedMart. This comes after a successful debut in Singapore’s foodservice market and a launch in China in 2020, a year which saw the company’s sales grow by 70%. The Vegetarian Butcher also provides their vegan patty to Burger King in Singapore for use in their plant-based Whopper. The brand plans to increase its international impact by becoming the “biggest butcher in the world.” Great news, The Vegetarian Butcher, on your ongoing global expansion. May your benevolent plans soon be realized as we move towards a compassionate vegan world, in Celestial abundance.

Horse-person rescued after becoming stuck in ditch.

Twenty-four-year-young horse-person Jack accidentally plunged through a wooden fence into a water-logged ditch at his stable in Wythall, United Kingdom, and was unable to get up. Within five minutes of being alerted, a specialist rescue team from Bickenhall and fire crews from Solihull reached the scene. Two straps were secured around Jack, while a farmer pulled slowly using his tractor and about a dozen firefighters hauled him out. The horse-beauty was checked by a veterinarian and seemed fine. Jack’s caregiver, Lauren McEwan, expressed her gratitude to the rescuers, stating, “I can’t say thank you enough. It’s just amazing what they did for him.” Our praises, firefighters and all involved, for your kind help. We are happy that you are well, Jack. In Heaven’s benediction, may gorgeous Jack and Lauren McEwan have many safe and happy years together ahead.

Let’s hop on a laughter ride and enjoy a joy rush with the joke of the day we have chosen, entitled “Graduation Day.”

On graduation day, a student was asked by a reporter...

“Could you tell us, Zoe, how did you manage to graduate from university?”

“Well, I have to thank the internet, Google, Wikipedia, Microsoft Office and most importantly, a special thanks to copy-paste. Without them, my graduation wouldn’t have been possible.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Thanh Nhàn in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Dear Master, I received initiation in 2000. I am blessed by God, and I am eternally grateful to Master, God. I have been through so many tribulations, but I survived them all due to Master’s protection. I now temporarily reside in Sydney, Australia, and the resident application was approved.

Recently my family of four, myself, my daughter, her husband, and my seven-year-old granddaughter, were all infected with COVID-19. I am 67-years-old and got seriously ill. An ambulance brought me to the hospital for isolation. My family members were isolated at home for four days, then they tested negative. I recovered after 10 days and went home after testing negative.

Master has taken care of my family in invisible and visible ways, while also taking care of the whole world and Supreme Master Television. I vow to be diligent in my spiritual practice. Once again, I thank You forever. I love and respect Master, Tim Qo Tu. I pray to the Most High Heaven to protect and bless Master Ching Hai. I wish Master good health, peace of mind and happiness. I pray that “World Vegan, World Peace” comes true. Thanh Nhàn from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Grateful Thanh Nhàn, Thank you for this news. We are pleased to hear of your and your loved ones’ speedy recovery and safety in the loving embrace of our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai.

Master has this cheerful response for you: “Soulful Thanh Nhàn, wishing lasting good health to you and the others. Thank you and a big hug in appreciation for your caring concern for my well-being. May you, your loved ones, and abundant Âu Lạc (Vietnam), continue to be guided by Buddha’s eternal Light.”

Vegan: joy on Earth n in Heaven.
