Germany, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award laureate, provides food assistance to vulnerable Palestinians.

The government of Germany donated €6 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to be used to provide vital food aid to 274,000 non-refugees in Gaza and the West Bank for two months. The contribution will be in the form of electronic food vouchers that allow recipients to buy their choice of food items in WFP designated shops in the area. Additionally, 35,000 people will receive three months of food rations, including pulses, fortified wheat flour, iodized salt and vegetable oil. Germany is the largest contributor to the WFP for Palestine, having donated almost US$19 million since 2017. Our sincere appreciation, Germany, and God bless you for your continued support of the gentle people of Palestine. Many thanks also, World Food Programme, for your humanitarian efforts for sisters and brothers in their time of need. May all cherished beings have good health and prosper, in the grace of the Providence.

More efficient carbon capture method discovered in Australia.

Scientists from Monash University and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation of Australia have discovered a system for capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) using Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) to create a kind of magnetic sponge that has an extremely large surface area. The material developed allowed one kilogram of CO2 to be extracted from the air or gas while only using 1.29 mega-joules of energy. This is a 45% lower energy cost than commercially available devices, and the best carbon capture efficiency recorded. Current methods also use highly corrosive substances. Remarkable news, scientists from Monash University and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, on this amazing innovation. We pray that all nations and individuals will take the necessary steps to ensure our planet flourishes sustainably into the new age, in Divine glory.

Oh, I know, my lovely vegan friend, how lovely You and I have become since we switched to vegan diet, my friends say I am so adorable as a vegan and they follow suit. Now we are all soo adorable that everyone loves to hang out with us. Would you like a tip to avoid getting sleepy after eating? Not all kinds of foods make you crave a nap. Becoming drowsy after eating is commonly experienced following a high-fat, high-carb, or high-calorie meal. Therefore, what and how much you consume correlates with your attention level after meals. Eat at a slower pace to avoid overeating, enjoy lighter meals, and steer away from high sugar drinks to maintain high energy levels throughout the day. Eliminate cakes and ice cream from your diet, and replace them with fresh fruit. Incorporate meals rich in whole grain and fiber, including complex carbohydrates like brown rice and quinoa. These types of food take longer to digest and make you feel full longer. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Largest electric airplane in the world makes first flight.

United States-headquartered electric aircraft motor manufacturer MagniX has made aviation history with the flight of the nine passenger Cessna Grand Caravan, known as the eCaravan, which was airborne for 28 minutes. Its 750-horsepower electric motor is backed by more than 2,000 pounds of lithium-ion batteries. The concept flight demonstrated the philosophy of MagniX’s Chief Executive Officer Roei Ganzarski that electric power is both more economical and better for the environment than conventional fossil fuels for travel under 1,600 kilometers. After tests are performed for another few months, the eCaravan will hopefully be approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration in 2021. Our excited congratulations, MagniX! Your ideas for cleaner travel have taken flight towards many bright tomorrows, in Heaven’s abundant light.

Researchers determine that goats can understand human gestures.

European researchers conducted a study at the Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats in the United Kingdom, and determined that goats can understand human cues in the form of pointing gestures. Two buckets were placed a distance apart, with one containing food. A person pointed at the bucket with the food, and when the goats realized the bucket being pointed at contained food, they learned the meaning of the pointing and responded by going to that bucket. The study, which has been published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology, shows that the goats have a similar ability as dogs and horses to understand human gestures. Thank you, researchers, for highlighting the deep intelligence of playful goats. In God’s love, may all people appreciate and respect our precious animal friends.

Aulacese (Vietnamese) girl sketches a world changed by the coronavirus.

During the three-month lockdown in the capital of Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, 10-year-old Nguyễn Đới Chung Anh began to sketch pictures showing various aspects of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Through her colorful drawings, Chung Anh shows her deepest and pure sympathy for our world, and sincere appreciation for the frontline workers. She drew Dr. Li Wenliang, a Chinese physician who issued the earliest warning in Wuhan; the Diamond Princess, a cruise ship with many infected passengers; and Âu Lạc (Vietnam)’s success story in containing the spread of Covid-19, among other heartfelt pictures. Pakistan high court affirms legal rights of animals.

In a landmark ruling, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice, the Honorable Athar Minallah, ordered that Kaavan, an Asian elephant who was cruelly treated at a zoo in the capital for the last 30 years, be relocated to a sanctuary within 30 days. In addition, all remaining animals confined in“small and ill-equipped enclosures” must be moved to appropriate sanctuaries in 60 days. A black bear who was rescued from “shockingly distressing condition” at an entertainment operation, will also continue staying at the Balkasar Bear Sanctuary, and the inhumane shooting of homeless dogs was ordered to stop immediately. Notably, the 67-page decision has recognized the “right to life” of animals while making reference to the country’s constitution, as well as national and international wildlife protection acts. It moreover stated that all religions, including Islam, have emphasized the importance of treating sentient beings with care, compassion and respect. Bravo! Our heartfelt gratitude and Heaven’s immense blessings, the Honorable Athar Minallah. May we always be good guardians of our beloved animal friends, in Allah’s all-embracing kindness. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Justice to the Honorable Judge Athar Minallah, with high salute, praises and heartfelt gratitude. May Allah forever shield and bless you.”

And now we have a heartline from Fei-Er in China:

GOOD LUCK ! Respected Master and Supreme Master TV team, Greetings! We are grateful to Master for Her compassion and selfless love blessing the earth and the whole universe through continuous retreats. I was so fortunate to have attended the 2-day international retreat held at the Taiwan (Formosa) ashram during the Ching Ming Festival in 2019. During the retreat, our beloved Master affectionately read the Surangama Sutra to us one chapter after another and shared Her supra-worldly insightful wisdom to help us better understand the true meaning of the sutra. I went into samadhi a few times while listening. After listening to the last part of the sutra expounded by Master on the evening of April 9 at Hsihu Ashram, I left the ashram happily, full of blessing and boundless bliss. Master, for more than 20 years, Your ceaseless and meticulous love to me, Your disciple, has always made my eyes blurred with tears. I have a question if Master could kindly enlighten me: What kind of time and space were the 25 Bodhisattvas in the congregation in? Were Ananda, Mahakasyapa, Maudgalyayana of the Ten Disciples, and Maitreya Buddha, Quan Yin (Avalokitesvara) Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Manjushri Bodhisattva, etc., all manifesting in Their physical forms at the congregation in the same time and space? I thank Master with closed palms. Fei-Er in China

Enthusiastic Fei-Er, Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts with us. We are glad to hear about your fruitful retreat. Our world can never thank Supreme Master Ching Hai enough for Her Love and sacrifice. Master has dedicated Her whole life to serving others. Even with Her very busy schedule, She still continues to meditate for the world and the universe. We are truly blessed to be living in this same Golden Age era. We pray that the day soon come when all live a benevolent way of life adhering to the teachings of the Buddhas. May Heaven shower you and prosperous China with much love, wisdom and contentment, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has a message for you: “Special Fei-Er, your purity and innocence shines through. And my thanks to you for being a good, upright spiritual practitioner. The high Saints, They can manifest anywhere for the sake of sentient beings, whose pure eyes can behold Their transcendental/physical forms accordingly. Many Heavenly as well as other worldly beings also can do the same, alone or with others at the same time/space if need be. Blessings to you and the effervescent people of China.”
