In today’s news, Qatar Charity provides relief assistance to Pakistan’s Afghan refugees, Korea requires masks in public spaces, Paris, France to expand its greenery with more trees, parks and gardens, survey shows electric vehicle owners have 50% less maintenance costs, British man draws animal companion portraits to aid homeless, almost all first-time plant-based meat buyers during pandemic plan a repurchase, and Australian greater gliders now reclassified as three different species.Qatar Charity supplies Pakistan’s Afghan refugees with humanitarian assistance. In collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Qatar Charity, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, has provided 3,400 packages of food aid and personal hygiene products to displaced Afghans in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, benefiting about 15,400 people. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in partnership with local authorities, Qatar Charity has also distributed 4,000 parcels of hygiene items and supplies to quarantine centers and rural health facilities across Pakistan. To further the organization’s global aid project, Qatar Charity has entered into agreements with various international agencies and United Nations organizations to support Lebanon, Palestine, Bangladesh, Sudan, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Chad and Kenya to address the coronavirus’ impacts on the vulnerable. Our sincere appreciation, Qatar Charity and UNHCR, for assisting uprooted Afghans and for all the noble work that you do. May all be protected during this unprecedented time requiring global unity, in Allah’s benevolence.Korea mandates masks as COVID-19 countermeasure. The nation is now issuing fines to people in public spaces who are not wearing a mask, wearing one under their nose, or using a scarf or alternate face-covering that cannot protect people from the COVID-19 virus. Violators face a penalty of up to US$90. Department stores and other facilities could be penalized up to US$2,700 if their patrons are not obeying the law. Children under 14, individuals with certain medical or mental conditions, and those at swimming pools and public baths are exempt. As winter approaches, Seoul city officials have been disseminating informational leaflets on the streets and reminding people to put on masks to safeguard everyone. Our gratitude, Korea, for implementing this strict life-saving public health measure. May we all do our part to protect ourselves and others by practicing good hygiene, in the Divine’s elevating grace.Up next, Paris to expand its greenery with more trees, parks and gardens. We’ll be right back, with more glorious news on Supreme Master Television.Hallo, charming viewers, I’m ChaCha the vegan Chukar, and I believe that all of us have a compassionate heart. So how about showing it outwardly every day by being vegan? I have a cool tip to help you get your car going during winter months. It can be harder to start your car engine in cold temperatures, and it doesn’t always mean that your car battery is dead if the engine doesn’t turn on after one attempt. Try switching on your radio, high beams, or turn signals for a few minutes to warm up the battery. This should help to start your engine again. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!Paris to increase city’s green areas. France’s capital city is set to add to its green spaces by planting 170,000 trees and augment the size of its gardens and parks by 30 hectares. The project will help cool the city during the hot summer, improve the quality of life of Parisians, and reduce the effects of climate change. Five urban forests will be planted and 100 “oasis streets” with lush living walls will be made near schools or in areas that don’t have greenery. Tree lined promenades will also be created at the Canal Saint Martin and Canal de l’Ourcq, and more. Such refreshing news, Paris, on the further greening of your magnificent city. May your newly planted trees and gardens flourish as they bless your citizens with serenity and fresh cool air, in addition to providing homes to countless animal friends.Electric vehicle drivers save 50% on maintenance costs. Consumer Reports, an American nonprofit consumer advocacy organization, recently released its reliability survey results that show over a car’s lifetime, electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles have 50% less repair and upkeep expenses than gasoline-powered models. The survey calculated the cost per mile of repairs over the vehicle’s expected lifetime, which was set at 200,000 miles (321,000 kilometers). In a separate study by the entity, it was determined that electric models produce on average 60% less greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline-powered ones in the United States. The analysis took into consideration the pollutants created by the power plants that supply the electricity. Thank you, Consumer Reports, for bringing to light the large cost savings to our pockets and the environment from electric automobile ownership. May greener cars be embraced globally as we give thanks for the remarkable eco-innovations of our time, in God’s light.British man draws pet portraits for homeless charity. Phil Heckels from Worthing, United Kingdom, has raised almost £35,000 for Turning Tides, a local homeless services organization, by drawing light-hearted caricatures of animal companions, including dogs, cats, mice, a praying mantis and a hedgehog. The endeavor started after he drew a picture of his family’s dog companion to inspire his six-year-old son to make a thank you card and shared it on Facebook under the pseudonym Hercule Van Wolfwinkle, joking that people could order an animal friend portrait for £299. His work became very popular, with many orders coming in and all proceeds going to Turning Tides, which he has long supported. Heaven’s blessings, Phil Heckels, for your loving project. May your delightful artwork continue to bring smiles to many as your sweet efforts help our sisters and brothers have safe and warm shelter, in Divine goodness.Coming up, almost all first-time plant-based meat buyers during pandemic plan a repurchase. We’ll spend some time now to go sit in the shade of a tree and recharge ourselves with nature’s beneficial ions. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more excellent news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Generous News for a Magnanimous World.Study finds nearly all new vegan meat buyers during pandemic will return for more. A report from the United States-headquartered major food producer Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) states that 97% of Americans who tried their first animal-free meat products during the COVID-19 crisis say they will buy them again. The surveyed consumers cited the meat analogs as being safer and healthier than animal protein along with convenience as their primary reasons for buying plant-based brands like Beyond Meat, Gardein, Impossible Foods, Lightlife and MorningStar Farms. Ana Ferrell, ADM’s Vice President of Marketing, commented that this change in eating habits would “lead to some exciting innovations and market introductions in the next 12 to 18 months.” Kudos, Ana Ferrell and the Archer Daniels Midland team, for highlighting this outstanding news! In the benevolence of the Providence, we pray for a swift global transition to a plant-based food system.Australian greater gliders recognized as three different species. A project by James Cook University PhD student Denise McGregor and other researchers examined the DNA of 50 greater gliders, who can soar up to 100 meters among the eucalyptus trees where the marsupial lives and forages. The researchers discovered that the glider is actually three distinct species. This follows a similar finding regarding the sugar glider, which was also found to be made up of more than one species. Scientists are hopeful that the new taxonomical classifications will help provide better protection of the precious greater gliders that have experienced an 80% population loss nationwide in the past 20 years. The discovery has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Scientific Reports. Our salute, Denise McGregor and colleagues. Your research gives us fascinating insight into these awesome high-flying friends, as we also give thanks to Heaven for all our amazing animal co-inhabitants.Now, time to tone the muscles of your face with a good laugh entitled “Adults – Explained.” Big brother Larry decided to see if his little brother Jerry really understood how children and grownups differ:“Jerry, who is considered an adult?”“A person who has stopped growing at both ends and is now growing in the middle.”And now we have a heartline from Hanjun in Korea: Hallo, I first experienced the inner Heavenly Light and Sound 15 years after being initiated by Master Ching Hai, and it’s been 25 years now. I’d like to tell you the story of the moment I had my first inner Heavenly Light and Sound experience. For the first 15 years after initiation, I joined many of Master’s projects and was busy and practicing diligently, but I had no inner experience, which made me confused in my life. Then one day, when I came back and was lying in my room, I suddenly saw inner Heavenly Light from my wisdom eye. I went to the bathroom to check if it was real or not. In perfect darkness, I could really see the Light. And after a couple of days, I also started to hear the inner Heavenly Sound. I concentrated 24-hours a day to not lose that Sound, and even concentrated while I was taking walks through forests. But then, the inner Heavenly Sound changed to a Sound reciting the Five Holy Names, I could hear it even while among the forest trees like the sound of the wind, And also, when I’d come out of my house and take walks at night, from the dark sky, it was heard like angels were singing in unison. At that time, the real Quan Yin Method of inner Heavenly Light and Sound began. And I could feel my wisdom grow little by little. I really feel that the Quan Yin Method is indeed a formless, subtle method. Probably the most important thing is spiritual evolution and liberation through Master Power. I sincerely thank You again, Master Ching Hai. Hanjun from KoreaFaithful Hanjun, We thank you for sharing your meditative experiences with us.Master wrote the following to you: “Attuned Hanjun, know that your light shines brightly inside and out and that I love you. I applaud your trust and faith in the Quan Yin Method and am pleased that you can see progress in your spiritual practice. The Heavenly Light and Sound are there 24/7 since the time of initiation. It takes soul level of undiluted concentration to realize it. Glad you notice them at last! Better late than never. Wishing you much more joy and peace in your meditation and in your daily life. May Heaven bless you and your dear ones, and shine Love and Light on the delightful Korean people.”We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Veg-eating football legend achieves historic record

The brilliant Argentine footballer Lionel Messi made history recently by scoring his 644th goal for Barcelona, the team with whom he has spent his entire professional career. He thus surpassed the long-time record held by the legendary Brazilian player Pelé.Notably, the now 33-year-old Mr. Messi had tried a raw vegan diet in 2014 and was thus able to improve his game significantly by becoming lighter, faster and more agile. Nowadays, having largely given up meat from his diet, he reportedly follows a vegetarian diet at least during the football season, with plenty of organic vegetables, fruits, whole grains, seeds and nuts.Congratulations, Lionel Messi, and thanks for letting the public know about the positive veg factor in your athleticism. Wishing you many more plant-powered accomplishments, in Heaven’s grace.

Japan, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, has donated US$1.7 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to help more than 78,000 individuals in the locust-affected areas in eastern Sudan, where crops and farmland have been severely damaged. The three months of food rations will include lentils, sorghum, salt and vegetable oil. Speaking of the timeliness of this donation, Dr. Hameed Nuru, WFP Representative and Country Director in Sudan, noted, “This funding will help us mitigate the worst effects of multiple crises and ensure that women, men and children who are hit the hardest, get the life-saving food assistance they need.” We are touched by your generosity, Japan, and your dedicated efforts, World Food Programme. May Allah bless the vibrant Sudanese people with evermore security and peace.United States researchers find that universal mask-wearing would save many lives. According to scientists from the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, an upsurge of COVID-19 cases is expected to occur in the US over the next few months, with over 500,000 estimated casualties by the end of February 2021. However, the researchers predicted that if at least 95% of the population wore face masks, this could prevent the surge and prevent almost 130,000 deaths. Senior researcher of the study, Dr. Christopher Murray, commented, “Expanding mask use can be one of the easy wins for the United States. It can both delay the re-imposition of social distancing mandates and can save many, many lives.” The study has been published in the peer-reviewed Nature Medicine journal. Our appreciation, Dr. Christopher Murray and fellow researchers, for the crucial information. In the wisdom of the Providence, may we all heed the advice of medical experts to protect one another.Up next on Noteworthy News, solar-powered system provides water to remote Australian community. Heaven on Earth is as close as your next vegan meal… because vegan is what the Golden Age is going to be! Here is an eco-friendly tip for you. If you are taking a walk, you can help clean up the environment as well. Wearing gloves, use an old pair of kitchen tongs and a garbage bag to pick up any trash along your path. Be sure to stay protected by wearing a mask, taking extra measures not to touch your face. When you get home, please thoroughly clean your tool and wash your hands. Ah, it sure feels good to do good! Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now the weather from around the world.New solar-powered system provides water to remote Australian community. Developed by international design firm Aurecon and Australian electrical engineering company Ampcontrol, Project Gilghi is an off-grid water treatment facility that will allow access to clean drinking water for Indigenous rural citizens living in the Northern Territory. Oftentimes, the groundwater in Australia’s drier regions is too salty, so, many communities rely on transporting water long distances. Project Gilghi, however, can treat the water using power rom solar panels and a three-stage filtration that includes a sand and carbon filter, reverse osmosis, and UV disinfection. The innovative plant received the 2020Institution of Civil Engineers Chris Binnie Award for Sustainable Water Management. Fantastic news and many thanks, Aurecon and Ampcontrol, for your life-improving solution. In Heaven’s light, may such excellent green systems be installed wherever needed until all the world has access to clean water.British scientists invent new method to convert plastic into clean energy. Professor Peter Edwards and co-researchers at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, recently experimented with a fast and energy-saving approach to converting plastic packaging, bottles, bags, and more, into a source of hydrogen gas, a clean fuel. The scientists first separated the plastic into small pieces, then added an inexpensive and abundantly found iron-based catalyst. Next, the mixture was placed under a 1,000-watt microwave generator so that the catalyst created hot spots and evaporated the gas, without extra energy used on heating up the plastic parts. Through this process, 97% of the hydrogen was extracted from the plastic within seconds, leaving behind only carbon materials, which also have valuable use. Best wishes and thank you, Professor Peter Edwards and team, for working to address our global plastic waste problem. May our precious lands and oceans soon be plastic-free for all lives to thrive, in Divine grace.Vancouver approves plan to shelter homeless people in wake of COVID-19. The Vancouver City Council in Canada has unanimously agreed to invest US$22.8 million to place homeless individuals in vacant hotel rooms and apartment buildings, which are to be purchased or leased around the city. Immediately following the motion, people from the Strathcona Park tent community have begun to be relocated to temporary pandemic shelters, and a motel and hostel, both city-owned, are being put to use. We are grateful, Vancouver City Council, for your caring plan. May God bless and protect our more vulnerable neighbors, especially during this challenging time.Coming up, Singapore-based start-up wins prestigious prize for its lab-grown milk. In a competition that saw 175,000 entries from 200 countries, biotech company TurtleTree Labs has won the 2020 Entrepreneurship World Cup US$500,000 prize for making milk in the laboratory that retains the qualities of cow’s milk. Founded in 2019 by Fengru Lin and Max Rye, TurtleTree Labs’ process, which has a 98% lower carbon footprint than animal-derived milk, involves extracting cells from the milk of mammals and utilizing a special formula to grow the cells. This induces natural lactation and obtains milk through a filtration process. The company, which is advancing towards the production phase, has applied their technology to making nutritional human breast milk for infants. Congratulations, TurtleTree Labs, on this recognition of your humane alternative to animal milk. We pray that soon all cows and newborn calves will be free from suffering as the world becomes vegan, in Celestial peace.Eleven-year-old American boy recognized for helping animals. In today’s news, Japan supports farmers and displaced community in Bangladesh, scientists discover gene hidden within COVID-19 virus, researchers improve solar panel light absorption, artificial intelligence used to solve plastic waste pollution in Australia, 12-year-old in United States makes baseball bats to raise funds for disaster relief, survey confirms plant-based trend in Germany and Europe, and Malian dog meat sellers transition to growing crops.Japan supports farmers and displaced people in Bangladesh. Japan, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, has signed an agreement with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), to provide US$5 million to support both the Rohingya community from Myanmar and local Bangladeshi farmers. Through WFP’s farmers’ market initiative, 2,400 Bangladeshi local farmers in Cox’s Bazar District will be assisted to cultivate and sell vegetables at a market servicing 20,000 Rohingya refugees. The displaced individuals in turn will have better access to diverse and fresh local foods using a WFP Assistance Card. In addition, the model also enhances the peaceful co-existence and social interdependence of the two communities. Since 2017, Japan has contributed approximately US$168 million to various organizations to help the Rohingya refugees. Our sincere gratitude, Japan and the World Food Programme. May this project greatly benefit the fine Bangladeshi and Rohingya people, in Heaven’s upliftment.Researchers find potentially significant gene hiding within COVID-19 virus. The discovery was made by scientists from the United States, Germany and Taiwan, also known as Formosa. The newly evolved gene, called ORF3d, was not detected until recently because it overlaps with other gene segments in the virus’ RNA and DNA. Although its function is not yet known, the scientists noted that as one of only about 15 genes making up the virus, ORF3d could make developing treatments more difficult. It might also partly explain why the novel coronavirus has been able to spread so quickly among humans. Thank you, researchers, for helping us to further understand the challenging nature of the COVID-19 virus. May we soon realize the root cause of this and other pandemics and commit to the best solution: a vegan life of harmony with all beings.Up next, scientists find new way to improve solar panel light absorption. We’ll now give thanks to the compassionate people who take time during the holidays to help make sure that those in need are cared for and loved. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more informative news.Hi, loving friends, how have you been? I’m Goldy the vegan Sun Conure. Want to look like a movie star? Adopt a vegan diet and you’ll look and feel like a million bucks! Today we are happy to share a tip from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Many food items can be cooked without much trouble. Noodles, spaghetti, spinach and bok choy, for example, don’t need to be boiled: after they’re washed, just place them in oven glassware, pour boiling water directly on them, cover for a while, strain out the water and serve as is. If they are not soft enough, just repeat once more. This is convenient and saves you waiting and washing time. Enjoy inventing new ways to prepare vegan food! God loves you kids!” Wow, this easy method is a must-try for all of us busy folks! Thank You, Supreme Master Ching Hai. We love You! And love you all for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Thank you for your attention, and here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.Scientists improve solar panel light absorption by using checkerboard patterns. A research team from the University of York in the United Kingdom, NOVA University Lisbon of Portugal and University of São Paulo in Brazil, have developed a way to boost the power output of solar panels by an impressive 125%, simply by etching special patterns into the surface. After experimenting with various line sequences on a thin silicon slab, it was found that the checkerboard pattern with randomized rotations of its repeating units, was able to trap more light instead of reflecting it back. The discovery means that the slim panels can now produce the same power as more sophisticated designs, but require 10 times less resources to construct. This could pave the way for a more cost-effective, wide-scale production of solar technology. Fantastic news, all researchers involved. May your advancement help lead us to a fully green world, in Celestial grace.Australian national science agency and partners develop new solutions to end plastic waste. The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) has announced joint efforts with global technology company Microsoft, Hobart City Council, and Chemistry Australia representing the country’s chemical and plastics industries. Their goal is to detect plastics and monitor waste in waterways by using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and camera sensors. Specifically, the rubbish will be classified through Microsoft’s image recognition technology to help officials react faster and more effectively. CSIRO is also working with Hobart City Council on an automatic sensor network to track in real-time the amount of waste being collected in storm drains. Furthermore, there are plans with Chemistry Australia to raise awareness on how to sustainably reuse and recycle plastic products. Many thanks, CSIRO, Microsoft, Hobart City Council, and Chemistry Australia. In Divine guidance, may we all work together to clean up our home for future generations.Twelve-year-old makes baseball bats to raise money for disaster relief. A new study conducted by the Berlin-based supermarket Veganz found that 3.2% of the respondents in Germany classified themselves as vegan. When applied to the country’s 83 million-plus inhabitants, this equates to more than 2.6 million Germans following a plant-based diet, twice as many as the number found in a 2016 survey. The Veganz polling, which looked at nutrition patterns in seven European countries, also determined that the overall number of flexitarians (people deliberately consuming meat less frequently) has grown to 22.9%, reaching 31.8% in Austria, nearly a third of its population. Thank you for the survey, Veganz, and a hearty bravo, Germany and Europe! We pray you will lead the way in the loving and sustainable lifestyle for our world to have a bright future blessed by Heaven.Malian dog meat sellers quit to grow crops. At a ceremony held in southern Mali attended by the Sébougou village’s mayor, local nonprofit ARAF-Plateau Dogon gifted 20 former dog meat traders farming equipment to transition to the peaceful livelihood of crop-planting. Financed by United States-based nonprofit media group Lady Freethinker (LFT), each reformed trader will also receive a quarter of a hectare of land and supplies including tubers and small fruit trees. They are the first among dozens who are eager to change the way they earn income and are even speaking out against the dog meat business. LFT President Nina Jackel said, “This is a huge step toward ending the dog meat trade in the region and creating sustainable, long-lasting change.” On behalf of both humans and canines spared, we are grateful, ARAF-Plateau Dogon and Lady Freethinker. May Allah bless the brave new farmers of Mali and grace many more to awaken their Divine goodness within. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Tearfully present Lady Freethinker and ARAF-Plateau Dogon each with the Shining World Compassion Award, plus a US$10,000 humble contribution to support your joint life-saving cause, with all love, thankfulness and best wishes, in Heaven’s joy.”A good, hearty laugh relieves stress and tension, so laugh as much as you can. I’ve just set up obstacles for any robber that might want to test their luck.”And now we have a heartline from disciples in Taiwan, also known as Formosa: Our Dearest Beloved Master, Disasters such as floods, plagues and fires keep happening all around the once beautiful Earth. B.1.1.7 is up to 70% more contagious and has prompted many travel restrictions around the globe. Meanwhile, scientists are alarmed about another highly contagious strain of COVID-19 detected in South Africa, called 501.V2, because its outer structure may render the vaccines ineffective. Other countries that reported cases of this strain were Australia, France, Switzerland and Zambia. Sustainable landscape design firm TechniSoil has created a method of turning discarded plastic into road building material that lasts up to three times longer than asphalt, is five times stronger, and resists cracking. Compared to the construction of traditional roads, the costs run 50% lower, traffic can resume the same day, and greenhouse gas emissions involved are reduced by 90%. Approximately 150,000 plastic bottles are used per 1.6 kilometers on a single lane, but the existing asphalt is also utilized, which saves disposing of it. TechniSoil calculates that by implementing this innovative system, all the plastic waste in the world that was bound for landfills or the oceans, could be consumed within eight years. Way to go, TechniSoil, on your waste-reducing technology. Wishing you the best of success as ventures such as yours help clean up our planet, in Celestial upliftment.Teacher from Georgia sells flowers to raise money for students’ e-learning. A team of researchers working with the international nonprofit Sea Shepherd Conservation Society may have discovered a previously unknown species of beaked whales. The scientists noticed a trio of distinctly unique whales surfacing and swimming around the Sea Shepherd’s boat near the Pacific coast of Mexico. While it is rare to see beaked whales in general, to meet a friendly group of this elusive species was even more unusual. By utilizing photographs, video and acoustical recordings of the aquatic mammals, as well as a genetic sampling taken from the environment, the team is set to verify the possible discovery of a new species. We are impressed and excited too by your remarkable encounter, researchers and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society! In God’s comforting gaze, may all our special animal co-inhabitants be forever cherished.Laughter is good for our health, so we chose a joke of the day for you called, “Twenty Years of Marriage.” After 20 years of marriage, a wife started complaining to her husband that he did not love her anymore. She begged him to seek advice from the local parish priest, and he complied. Afterwards, when he arrived home, he lifted her off her feet and carried her from one room to the other. Surprised, she exclaimed:“Oh! So you really do love me? What did the priest tell you?”“Well, he told me to carry my cross...”?!!And now we have a heartline from Emma in the United States: Dear Master, I recently watched the video where You had lovingly shared COVID-19 tips about being serious in taking precautions and wearing a mask. Master also spoke of snake issues in this and a previous video. I have read that there are certain essential oils which will repel snakes because they are very sensitive to smells. For example, it is mentioned that cinnamon oil and clove oil are good repellents. If concentrated enough, the oils might help to keep them away from Master’s vicinity. In the house, I use a diffuser with 10-15 drops of essential oil (more than the recommended amount) to repel ants and insects, refilling maybe two times per day to keep the smell concentrated. It has been very effective for us as it keeps them away naturally. I think for snakes, the essential oils will work the same way. I pray Heaven will help Master through everything. Emma from the United StatesBeloved Emma, We are very appreciative of the fact that you took the time to write to Master. Here is Her response to you: “Caring Emma, I am deeply touched that you care so much to help and protect me. It is a very loyal quality to wish for the safety of your Master. I thank you for the tip on snake repellents, and it may help save people’s lives as well. May you and the enterprising United States forever be protected and sheltered by Divine Grace.”We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, has given an additional US$1.5 million-plus to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)-Pakistan’s Girls’ Lower Secondary Education Programme (GLSEP). GLSEP seeks to improve girls’ access to and quality of education, focusing on facilitating their transition from primary to secondary school to strengthen gender equality in Pakistan. As part of the Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) project, Dr. Markus Rex, the expedition leader, and 400-plus researchers from 20 countries, who were exchanged in phases, spent a year aboard the German Research Vessel Polarstern in the Arctic to study the region’s climate and how it is changing. Historically, every decade, the Arctic ice floes have decreased by 13%, and this year, the team observed that the Arctic ice area was reduced to 3.74 million square kilometers, the second smallest coverage ever recorded. The scientists warn that if global warming causes ice-free Arctic summers in the coming decades, it would have devastating consequences for Earth. Thank you, Dr. Markus Rex and all researchers involved, for your brave voyage and stark warning. May all world leaders and citizens rapidly switch to a vegan lifestyle to sustain our planet in Heaven’s infinite brilliance.Up next, San Francisco, United States, bans natural gas infrastructure in new building projects. As a cool vegan, I’m always full of energy and good vibes – two of the many benefits of a plant-based diet. So, go vegan today and power up like me! Ever thought about washing your birdbath? To do so, pour 475 milliliters of vinegar into the bath and fill it to the top with clean water. Place a trash-can lid over it and allow the basin to soak overnight. Then scrub the bath and rinse it well. Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now it’s time for the worldwide weather.San Francisco, United States, prohibits natural gas use in new buildings. The city’s Board of Supervisors has passed the country’s strictest natural gas ban for new building constructions and is effective July 2021. According to 2017 city data, 44% of San Francisco’s greenhouse gas emissions came from buildings. The law will affect 54,000 new homes and three million square meters of commercial space designated for construction, with stoves, furnaces, and water heaters to use electricity instead. The Honorable Rafael Mandelman, a board member, tweeted: “All-electric construction in new buildings is a critical step toward a safer, healthier San Francisco and planet for future generations.” San Francisco now joins the growing list of cities across California prohibiting natural gas for new developments. Congratulations, the San Francisco City Board of Supervisors, on this wise decision. May many other cities also soon follow the trend as we transition into an eco-friendly era in God’s mercy.Researchers successfully link computer with human brain. Scientists from Australia’s University of Melbourne have connected two patients to computers by inserting a tiny wire with electrodes through the jugular vein and advancing it to a blood vessel next to the brain’s primary motor cortex. The brain’s signals are then wirelessly sent to the computer. The two participants, who have Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a nervous system disease that eventually causes total loss of muscle control, could mentally direct a computer running the Windows 10 operating system and independently perform tasks such as online shopping, text messaging, managing finances and more. The advancement could lead to helping uniquely-abled people to use electronic devices with their mind. Brilliant University of Melbourne researchers, we applaud your study on expanding computer accessibility. May your technology soon assist those in need as we care for one another in the love of the Divine.Architect builds village schools in Senegal with eco-friendly methods. Leila Meroue is a co-founder of the United Kingdom charity Let’s Build My School. Its first project was constructing a facility for toddlers in 2017 in Keur Racine, Senegal, and was completed by locals and volunteers from abroad. Locally-sourced materials such as upcycled tires were used for the foundation, and sand-bags filled with earth for the walls. The nonprofit also provides community members with training in sustainable construction techniques to further its work’s positive impact. Since the pandemic has restricted the availability of volunteers from abroad, the entity has organized an international competition calling for proposals to design an elementary school for another Senegalese village. Bravo, Leila Meroue and Let’s Build My School! We applaud the kind-hearted efforts of all involved for helping better the learning environment for rural Senegalese children, in Allah’s love.Coming up, Israeli and Czech companies explore partnership for hemp plant-based meat production. Gunda, named after a sow on a real Norwegian farm, is directed by vegetarian Russian filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky and executively produced by vegan Oscar-winning American actor Joaquin Phoenix. The work has no narration or actors and follows the daily lives of Gunda and her piglets, a one-legged chicken and several cows on a farm. Viewers are indirectly reminded of the cruelty behind meat-eating as the camera captures each cast member’s heart-warming personality. Mr. Kossakovsky commented, “So many people stopped eating meat (due to the film),” while Mr. Phoenix described the work as being “of profound importance and artistry.” The feature has won awards, including Best Documentary at the 2020 Stockholm Film Festival. Bravo, Victor Kossakovsky, Joaquin Phoenix and all involved in Gunda’s production. May humanity soon awaken to our animal friends’ nobility, under the loving watch of the Providence.Life is a joke, someone told us and he gave out this punchline to prove it. Can you imagine? Here it is in the joke called “Urgent Call.” At noon, Jack called the plumber and asked him to urgently come to his house for a repair. However, he didn’t arrive until five hours later.“How is it?”“Not so bad. While we were waiting for you to arrive, I taught my wife how to swim.”And now we have a heartline from Armita in Iran: Hallo, I respect You and am very grateful for Your positive and educational programs on Supreme Master Television. I particularly love Animal World shows. A while ago, in one of the programs, Supreme Master talked about Her dogs and said that animals understand English. Something very interesting happened to me in this regard. A few days ago, from the top of a half-open window, a sparrow entered our house, and he couldn’t go out. As I couldn’t go near the window to fully open it, the little sparrow kept flying toward the window and hitting himself against the glass, trying to fly out. It came to my mind that I could talk to the bird in English. So, in English, I told the sparrow, “Please, I can't come near you. Just listen, you should come a little down and then go out.” At that moment, the sparrow did exactly that and left the house. And we both became happy! Indeed, animals are very intelligent and amazing. I am very grateful for Your teachings and the information You share. Dearest Master, without You and Your unique and exemplary television programs airing for the whole world, I would never understand the world around me and other sentient beings. I’d also like to say that the photographs that You show in (the beginning and end of) “Between Master and Disciples” are excellent. We cannot wait to see more photos taken by Supreme Master. Dear Master and Supreme Master Television, please stay till eternity… Armita from IranAdmirable Armita, It was a pleasure to read your story. We are so glad to hear that the little sparrow found his way out! Master has said that animals have great intelligence. Animals are truly amazing beings! If we can remember and be in constant communication with God, we’ll be like the little sparrow and find our way back to ever-soaring freedom. May you and the faithful Iranians find eternal peace and contentment within. In Allah’s magnificent grace, Supreme Master TV teamP.S. Master has some words for you: “Sweet Armita, thanks for sharing your experience. And you are welcome. The photos are to relax you, and remind all to appreciate and protect nature. Researchers have proven that even pictures of nature can make people and patients feel uplifted and heal faster. As you have found out for yourself, animals are incredible beings and have so much to share, including their blessings for us and the world. They are communicating with us all the time; it’s just that most of us have lost the ability to understand what they are saying. We have featured telepathic animal communicators on Supreme Master Television who can converse with animals. It doesn’t have to be in English. Just be sincere and precise while speaking. They would understand. Think of the Master too, that helps. May you and culture-preserving Iran be forever in Allah’s favor.”We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineWe sure have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May grace and love elevate your sacred journey to the Divine.
