Happy Children’s Day - ”Where Are the Bottles?” Part 2 of 2, April 4, 2019

If I found one bottle, definitely I’d look for others. I could see the bucket and one bottle, then why couldn’t I see the other five bottles. I put them there in one row, like a row of teddy bears falling in line. I couldn’t figure it out, so I asked the Heavenly Guards. I asked, “Why? Why didn’t I see them a while before? Why can I see them now? Why did I see only one bottle before, and why can I see the other bottles now? Why?” They replied, “Master, Your soul has ascended too high. So You could only see half of the bottles.”

Happy Children’s Day - ”Where Are the Bottles?” Part 1 of 2, April 4, 2019

Happy Children's Day! You (adults) always ask a lot of questions but kids never ask. Now I want to ask kids a question. Did you behave well? (Yes!) Another question. Did you practice spiritually? If you are initiated, have you been meditating? (Yes!) Good. If you are not yet initiated, do you want to practice meditation? (Yes!) Ah! Good kids. Why? Why do you want to practice? (Because of Master.) Another reason. Tell me. (Scared of going to hell.) Oh, scared of going to hell. That's right! What else? Behind, there are a few. (Because I want to go back to Heaven.) Wow! Great!

If you want to, you still can give it to any animal organization, truly helps the animals. Whatever you think, whichever organization you think really sincerely, passionately is saving animals because love of love. So if you work, dedicate your body, your mind, your heart to a good cause, you purify yourself all the time. People feel very comfortable around you. And the more so if you unconditionally give, because of love, because of wanting to help, because of wanting to make people happy, then your energy is very, very beautiful. Your Light is shinning.

Buddhist Stories: The Story of Khuda, Part 6 of 7, Aug. 24, 2015

There are so many barriers. So many frontiers. Not just between man and animals, but between humans and humans. That's a very sad thing. That’s why I tell you, whatever religion, you keep it. We won’t make a new one. Everything in this world is very complicated, So it’s OK, we can keep to ourselves and support each other to meditate in a difficult world. We have each other at least. And we understand each other, and support each other mentally, emotionally, so we go on in this very difficult, complicated planet.

Buddhist Stories: The Story of Khuda, Part 5 of 7, Aug. 24, 2015

Today I was very tired, I don’t know why. Even I took a rest already in the afternoon but I was very tired. And I was thinking to myself, “No, today I don’t go out, I don’t talk.” I have the right to take a rest. I also need a rest. I’m also having just a human body. I’ll just go back to sleep, go to sleep. But then I was thinking of you. I said, “Never mind. If I drink tea, I wash with cold water, and then I drink something and I get myself awake, I can come out to see you.” Because even though I’m tired, but you came a long way. Yes. And you didn’t have much time to see me when you’re working. So I beat myself, “Get out. Get up, get up.”

Many people, because of that, became more diligent in their practice so they attained Srota-apanna, Sakrdagamin, Anagamin, Arhat, etc., different levels of consciousness, because of that story alone. Even though it's a bad story, negative story, but it wakes people up and touches their hearts, so their hearts become more open, more compassionate. And then their mind and their spirit become more diligent, understand why they have to practice, why they have to be good.

“You cannot even imagine how many lifetimes I’ve had, and how many lives I’ve died, how many lives I was born. But I have not done anything good with the bodies that I had, through my life and through my death. So if this time, today, I could use my skin to help you and many other people, then that’s the best thing. That makes me very happy. I, myself, sincerely sacrifice this skin and the fur to save many lives. May my merit be shared among all beings so that they will be able to be liberated, and stay away from the birth and death and all the suffering, and then they will go to Nirvana.”

And I was thinking the working teams are very diligent, and mostly miss out on the lectures, and the gathering. So I thought I will give you a special treat just the working people, you saw that, right? Just for you, you can see, only you. Thank you. That’s my way of thanking you, too. Cause you really came to serve everybody, without wanting any reward. You’d better not want anything, you never know, they have nothing. If they don’t make trouble for me, I’m grateful already. Not to talk about anything to give to you.

And this person, Devadatta, was extremely arrogant also. He wanted everybody to respect him as much as the Buddha. He wanted to be equal with the Buddha, even though he didn't have spiritual merit as the Buddha. If a person is jealous and arrogant like this how can he be Buddha anyway, right? Already. Not to talk about inside, the outside is bad already. And he wanted to kill another person, a Buddha. No matter what, even if it's not the Buddha you can't just kill a person, right? Right. Violent. It's bad.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 7 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

So, all these demons and ghosts, even the kings of demons, powerful in heaven, they are still imprisoned by this worldly passion and possessiveness. While you are in Samadhi, you are enjoying connecting with the Buddha Power, with your own Buddha Nature inside. You enjoy, you are pure, you are uplifted. “Therefore, they cannot affect you any more than a blowing wind can affect light, or as if a knife cannot cut through water.” Keep your mind straight, recite the Five (Holy) Names all the time when you meditate. No desire of anything; no thinking of even desiring anything; nothing; just want liberation, want to know your Buddha Nature.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 6 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

Even the Maya and demons are strong, but you are stronger, remember. You are the Buddha. Remember that. You have Buddha inside. Call unto that Buddha, Master Power, to protect you all the time. If you think if the Buddha, you’re connected with the Buddha. Even if you’re not strong enough to protect yourself, the Buddhas protect you, the Saints, all the Saints in all directions. Just like a prince, he will be a king, but he is still an infant, and he’s vulnerable, but his parents are king. They protect him if he calls.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 5 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

The Buddha praised that we have the same inherent enlightenment, brightness, Buddha Nature like Himself and all the Buddhas in ten directions. How great are we, can you grasp that? We are the same as the Buddhas. We have the same property, like the Buddha! How great! Can you imagine how great you are? Everybody would go worship the Buddha, but we have the same thing. The Buddha mentioned it here, not only here. Buddha mentioned it all the time that all beings have the same Buddha essence inside. Imagine how great you are! I should worship you. I should also bow to you.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 4 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

You have all that, what the Buddha has inside, just sleeping inside, covered. The (inner Heavenly) Light and Sound are not all. It’s not the ultimate. It’s just the reassurance. The precepts, the moral elevation, the virtues, the loving kindness that you develop, those are even more important. The happiness inside you, that’s even more important. All of that together, it’s not just that, but of course, the (inner Heavenly) Light and Sound help you, make you happy, cleanse you, assure you that you go on the right path.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 3 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

Why did He liken this demon to a thief? Because they can steal. They steal your spiritual energy. If you let them near and they use it to empower themselves. The more they steal from you, the more powerful they become, and the weaker you are, and then they will control you. Always remember the Five (Holy) Names, they protect you. Never think that you are anybody. Always pray for help. There are Gods and Goddesses and Bodhisattvas, Buddha, always trying to help you if you call for help, before you call even. It’s just if you call then it’s better, together. You call, they respond, so you are connected with each other.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 2 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

“The lords of these heavens, however, are all Bodhisattvas who roam in samadhi. They gradually progress in their practice and make transferences to the way cultivated by all Sages.”The kings of these heavens, they are already Bodhisattvas stationed, fixed. But these people who meditate and enter some samadhi of emptiness and are attached to that, they still do not reach their ultimate goal, and they have to come back, and they have to be responsible for their karmic debt just like us even. Therefore, it is Nirvana, the best, meaning the highest level of sainthood. They call that area the Fifth level, at least. So I might take you to another place above the Fifth level.

The Surangama Sutra: The Origin of Demonic States, Part 1 of 7, Dec. 25, 2018

If we have some reverent beings, we have to treat them nicely. You must know. I always tell you, a long time already, so you do always the same. The monks and nuns sit somewhere separate, as separate as possible. We have to protect them, protect their purity, for you. It’s not like I love them more than I love you. It’s just they need to be a little distant. You go home, you just sit with anybody, hug each other, sleep with each other, but they are different. They need to be separated. Because we can influence them with some of our negative thinking, impure energy.

Break the Habits, Be a Real Saint, Part 5 of 5 Feb. 24, 2005

After initiation, a physical miracle or emotional is nothing. Spiritual miracle is the best. Don’t take it for granted. And give thanks all the time, thank God, thank the Almighty, and thank all the coordinating Gods which give you a comfortable life or a good experience in life. Can’t have everything. Remember before, every center I make perfect, everything good, but then it won’t last. Whatever the situation, we live, we try to arrange as best we can here.

Break the Habits, Be a Real Saint, Part 4 of 5, Feb. 24, 2005

So, try to think which habit you really need. Consider do you really need this or you really need that or not? And if you don’t need it, then try to be master of it. Don’t let the habit master you. And then, your life becomes better. That’s all; very easy; just change the habit that bothers you. Whatever in your life is no good, you change that if you can. And if you cannot, then bear it. All right? Nothing lasts forever. Even suffering doesn’t last forever.

Break the Habits, Be a Real Saint, Part 3 of 5, Feb. 24, 2005

Whatever you want, you will have. That’s the law of the universe. So, watch it, what you want. Watch it. Whatever you do for others is good for you. So, be mindful of that and be respectful. But to be good is not enough. To be saintly is not enough. You must be more than that. You have to be more compassionate, considerate, intelligent, helpful, willing and kind at all times, and unconditional loving, especially non-selfish love. You have to always think of how to serve humanity at large, how to help the unfortunate people. That’s really saintly.

Break the Habits, Be a Real Saint, Part 2 of 5, Feb. 24, 2005

Enemies often come back together, so that they learn love. They learn to love each other. They had become enemies because they had no love. So, often, they come back as husband and wife, as lover, mother, son, sister, brother, to learn to love! Because family members, naturally you just love. And only love can solve the enmity of the past life. That’s why they often come back as family members or lovers. I suffer more than you do, believe it. Only, I don’t talk. Even if I talk, it’s never enough to describe it.
