For many Association members, spending the auspicious occasion of Millennium Eve with our beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai is a once in a lifetime experience that we will always treasure. To celebrate the historical event of entering the Millennium and pray for world peace, tens of thousands of our Association members from around the world attended the grand international seven-day retreat held in Thailand. On New Year’s Eve, everyone sat together with Master and enjoyed arrays of multi-cultural entertaining programs deep into the night. Among the exciting programs were singing and dancing by the 'millennium worm, tiger and crane and phoenix,' light-hearted dramas, surprising Y2K (Year 2000) programs and more. After the New Year count down, Master gave a hopeful speech on the millennium and looking forward. With high spirit and cheer, we are proud to share with you this memorable event in our multi-series program 'The Millennium Eve with Supreme Master Ching Hai.' Let’s start with Part 1. "Good evening, Master, and all the brothers and sisters from all the centers of [different] countries. Welcome, everybody, to the year 2000 evening." "Today, we are delighted to introduce to you the first program presented by the Hong Kong disciples, the Hong Kong Center, 'Dun Huang Silk Dance.'"
