The United States has donated 65,000 metric tons of wheat to the Republic of Sudan to alleviate food shortages caused by floods, COVID-19 and economic issues. The wheat, valued at US$20 million, will be purchased from a grant provided by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to the United Nations World Food Programme. India and China take steps to restore peace along the Himalayan border.
Indian and Chinese officials have resumed diplomatic talks and agreed to work towards an early withdrawal of troops along the India-China border known as the Line of Actual Control. During the last few months, the nations have held several rounds of discussions to resolve military conflicts. India’s Ministry of External Affairs revealed that both sides are anticipating “full restoration of peace and tranquility as early as possible.” More recently in January, India returned a Chinese soldier who got lost at the border within several days, in a gesture of goodwill. China is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance recipient, and a laureate of six Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Environmental Protection, Wildlife-Protection, and Compassionate Protection. India is a recipient of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, for Environmental Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Justice, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance and Protection. Thank you, governments of India and China, for making efforts to ensure peace and security for your citizens. We look forward to fully harmonious relations between your neighboring countries, in Heaven’s abundant love.
Up next, 20 new species found in Bolivian mountains. We will pause for a moment to thank the acupuncturists who help improve the flow of our qi (life force) to relieve pain and improve sleep, digestion, and overall health. When we return, more significant news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television!
Good day, radiant viewers! I’m Hermy the vegan Snail. How can you help the planet? Adopt a vegan diet! Here is a composting tip for you. Old used paper bags can be used to gather items for your pile of compost. Then, when you are ready to bring the bag out to the compost pile, you can tear up the bag into pieces and throw them in as well. The smaller the pieces, the faster they will disintegrate. Most non-colored, non-glossy paper bags should be compostable. Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now the weather from around the world.
Ecological team discovers previously unknown animal species in Bolivian mountains.
A 17-member ecological team, as part of a program by United States-headquartered non-profit Conservation International, were surprised to find 20 new species of plants and animals during a 14-day survey of the Zongo Valley in the Bolivian Andes. The forested region has a steep mountain slope that contains isolated areas of concentrated evolution due to the limited migration of animals and plants to and from the area. Among the new or rarely sighted species were a purple and yellow cup orchid, a tiny 10-millimeter frog, two metalmark butterflies, and more. Our happy applause, Conservation International, and all involved in this fascinating expedition. In the Divine’s blessing, may the amazing flora and fauna of our Earth always be protected.
Italian town is expert at recycling clothes.
The central Italian town of Prato has become a leader in responsible fashion, processing around 15% of all recycled clothing and scrap material in the world. Since the mid-19th century, the people of Prato have been recycling and reusing various kinds of fabrics. Many companies in the town are involved in the well-refined procedure, where items are sorted by color and material, washed, and shredded into reusable textile fibers. No further dyes are needed, thus saving enormous resources and reducing pollution and waste. The resulting materials are increasingly sought after by large fashion brands that want to be more sustainable. Way to go, Prato, on your inspiring eco-conscious enterprise. In Heaven’s love, may recycling fabrics soon be a norm, as we learn to be more considerate and save our precious resources.
Australian scuba divers rescue a shark trapped on the ocean floor.
Jules Casey and PT Hirschfield were exploring the waters of the south coast of Victoria, when they spotted a Port Jackson shark with a hook in her mouth, pinned to the seabed by a broken fishing line. After attempting to cut the line for some time, the divers were finally able to remove the hook from the weakened shark’s mouth and she slowly swam away. Ms. Casey posted on social media, “This little girl went through an extremely stressful time but she was strong and hopefully will fully recover from her near-death experience.” We are so happy you were set free, darling shark friend. Our warm gratitude, Jules Casey and PT Hirschfield, for your sympathetic and loving actions. In God’s mercy, may our gracious marine animal friends be shielded from harm as we welcome an era of compassion for all beings. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Tearfully present the Shining World Hero Award to Jules Casey and PT Hirschfield, for your compassionate rescue of the small, helpless shark, with heartfelt gratitude and love. May Heaven reward and bless you manyfold.”

Major supermarket chain in the United Kingdom opens vegan butcher counter.
ASDA in Britain recently opened its first vegan butcher section in their Watford store to help their customers during the Veganuary campaign’s vegan month of January and beyond. The counter is called Veelicious and stocks a range of products such as plant-based lamb, meat-free meatballs, veg bacon (also called facon) and more. The new section will be a trial for six months to allow the supermarket time to understand their customers’ preferences. It was launched in collaboration with the UK-based food and beverage technology innovator Kbox Global. Outstanding news, ASDA and Kbox Global, on the opening of your enticing vegan only counter. In Celestial support, may more supermarkets join in recognizing the huge global demand for ethical and delicious vegan alternatives.
Large wildlife crossing opens in United States.
An approximately 45-meter-long and 45-meter-wide wildlife crossing, that also has a path for humans, recently opened in San Antonio in the state of Texas. The US$23 million bridge, funded by the city and private donations, will help animals residing in the area, such as deer, coyotes, raccoons, lizards and others, to cross the six-lane highway that joins the two areas of the 330-acre Phil Hardberger Park. As grasses, trees and plants on the bridge grow, it is envisioned the structure will be experienced as a serene hill. There are also sheltered areas created by local artists from which people can observe the magnificent surroundings. What a wonderful, caring endeavor, San Antonio. In the loving light of the Providence, may the construction of such bridges be undertaken all over the world, for both humans and animals to roam freely and safely. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Respectfully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Protection to the City of San Antonio, with high salute and loving gratitude. May all your co-citizens, human and animal, be well in the Divine’s loving embrace.”
