We spiritual practitioners rely on our own Self Nature. We truly want to be liberated, we truly want to become a benevolent power, a loving person who can save sentient beings. Then our willpower will develop toward that direction, and then we’ll get that kind of power. It also depends on time. Then, after we have acquired this power completely, we can pass it on to others who will also have the power and then slowly also become more and more powerful, and become the same as us. Understand? (Understand.) All depends on our willpower. In practicing martial arts, normal people practicing martial arts are also like that. There must be some fierce energy within them. When they strike, they presume that they’re striking their enemies, so that their strike will be powerful. If you’re too kind, I’m afraid you cannot strike; you cannot even extend your arms, so you won’t be a good warrior. But I was talking about the more violent kind of martial arts. A truly great warrior would not strike. Like a cockfighting rooster(-person), when he is well-trained he can just stand there, and other rooster(-people) would run at the sight of him, or kneel there and cry, or grab a tree and cry. Hiding behind the tree to cry. For example like that.

We can all train ourselves to develop our level every day in different aspects. If we want to develop in this way, it’s best to associate with people sharing the same ideal. The same applies to everything. Take that girl, for instance. If she didn’t often get together with snake(-people), she couldn’t have developed that kind of venom. She herself wouldn’t be so poisonous. Understand? (Understand.) Physical aspects can be transmitted in this physical way. Spiritual aspects can also be transmitted spiritually. Spiritual practice depends on our spirit. So, we should follow like-minded people, and then we’ll transmit the power to each other mutually, support each other and supplement each other continuously. Keep on supplementing each other, and then in the future we’ll become spiritual practitioners. It’s definitely like that. If a vicious person can practice using thoughts to kill others, then we, benevolent people, can also train our thoughts to save people. It’s a logical thing, not something intangible, also not a kind of superstitious philosophy. We, practitioners of the Quan Yin Method, understand everything, should not be superstitious.

But I’m telling you, some of you still lack faith; you always go to consult those spirit mediums, always go to worship the land god. You have the “Land Goddess” here, and you still go to worship the land god. I don’t know if the foreigners can understand this. It’s a very difficult subject. You’re too silly. And then you’d owe the demons something – emotions, or favors, perhaps “demon’s” favor, not human favor. If you owe the demons “demons’” favor, later they’ll come to ask for your soul in return; you have to solve it yourself. I’ll not go to bow my head and beg the devil to return your soul. Sometimes, for the sake of physical aspects, for saving this impermanent body or anything, you ask for help chaotically. You pray to the sketchy local gods, ghosts, whatever… Meaning not very high-level beings. Then, of course those beings will charge you, want to charge you something, which sometimes is very expensive, they want your soul, want you to forever belong to them, to be their subordinate, to be a lonely soul and wandering ghost, to be their low-level slaves, soul slaves, like a servant-slave. However, being a soul servant-slave is thousands of times more painful than being a physical servant-slave.

I warn you strictly, any property, anything you take from your parents, it is all free of charge, but if you take from outside people, you have to pay back. Sometimes people set traps for us, and the price will be very dear. Likewise, in the world of spiritual practice, there’re also many traps. Low-level beings and gods and ghosts all have their conditions. When you ask for their help, sometimes help comes very quickly, but the price is very dear, it’ll be too late to regret afterward. I personally will not beg them for you. If you randomly mess with the ghosts and gods, you take care of it by yourselves. I never tell you to do that. If you do it by yourself, selling your soul to them, for a few millions or billions of US dollars, not even… it’s all worthless. The money you get will all be gone later. You can’t take it when you die, but your soul will be in their possession, understand? It’s not enough just to pay back the money. Ghosts and gods don’t want money! It’s not like here in this world, when you owe something, for example, to hooligans, or anyone. For instance, you’re a daughter of a good family, but sometimes you are ignorant and hang out with hooligans or bandits. They do a lot of bad things to you, or ask for money… Money you can still give them, and they might also set you free.

But this is not the game to play with ghosts and gods. They don’t want money! They want your soul, and to keep you for a very long time. I don’t know how long. It depends on how much you owe them, or what you have promised them. Actually, sometimes you don’t have to promise. As long as you accept their favor, naturally you belong to them. In their society of ghosts and gods, it counts like that. Their law is like that. You shouldn’t mess with them, in case later when you have trouble, you look for me – I don’t want to get involved in this kind of stuff. I can’t bow to ghosts and gods for your silly things. Since you yourself want to take the wrong path, you “wrong” it out yourself. Understand? (Yes.) Should I, a dignified Master, beg for their favor? Shall I beg for their favor? (No way.) Hmm? (No way.) Do you want me to kneel down and beg them to set your soul free? (No.) Would you like to do that? (No.) I don’t want to. I have no time to do those silly things.

If you, for your wealth, for your silly and impermanent life, go to kowtow to those ghosts and gods, who are of lower levels than you, it’s your own business. I’m warning you: I don’t get involved in that kind of things. If you, in this world, ask for my help when you are in trouble, I can always sacrifice for you. But if you don’t trust me and beg for favor from those low-level beings, that’s your own business. I don’t interfere with your future consequences. Each level, each world, all has its own laws. Understand? (Yes.) I’ve already taken you out, yet you still jump in. How can I help? Understand? (Understand.)
