The United States’ new Acting Defense Secretary, the Honorable Christopher Miller, announced on Tuesday, November 17, 2020: “I’m here today to update you on President Trump’s plan to bring the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to a successful and responsible conclusion, and to bring our brave service members home.”Secretary Miller said troop levels in Afghanistan and Iraq will be reduced to 2,500 in both countries by January 15, 2021. In a letter to all Department of Defense employees, he wrote, “…this fight has been long, our sacrifices have been enormous, and many are weary of war – I’m one of them… this is the critical phase in which we transition our efforts from a leadership to supporting role. We are not a people of perpetual war. It is the antithesis of everything for which we stand and for which our ancestors fought. All wars must end.” President Trump, a Shining World Peace Leader Award and Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, has been supporting peace on the Korean peninsula and has recently mediated several peace agreements, including those between Israel and the countries of Bahrain, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as between Kosovo and Serbia. Earlier this year, he brokered a peace deal with the Taliban to facilitate a permanent ceasefire and to reduce the US military footprint in Afghanistan. Our earnest gratitude, Your Excellency Donald Trump and the Honorable Christopher Miller, for protecting countless soldiers, families and civilians affected by armed conflicts, and for exemplifying leadership committed to harmonious relations among all nations. May your noble vision of lasting world Peace soon be realized, in Heaven’s infinite benevolence.

Leaves of Morya’s Garden: Spiritual Guidance Recorded by Nicholas and Helena Roerich (vegetarians), Part 2 of 2
We will now continue with the Venerated Master Morya’s profound and uplifting messages given to his disciples, and through them, to the world. “I rejoice in the smile undimmed by approaching fate. I shall grant the power to create good not with money but with spirit. Full of travail is your life, but vast are the depths of your happiness in the future victory of the spirit. Banish anger, and the path to Us will be easier. Not wrath, but ardent rapture creates. Be imperturbable — your illusions damage your health, but if you have faith in Me, know that you are guarded by the Care and Shield of Morya. Morya is aware of your hardships; a steep ascent is always difficult. To overcome fate requires fortitude. Be not downcast, for you have many times crossed these rapids.” “Be not dismayed at the Teacher’s criticisms. Pupils should rejoice at every message. Contemplate the spiritual guidance of One Teacher. Your spirit presses onward; At the Gates I will await you. My Breath shall warm your hands, and I will guide you along the mountain path to the Temple. Love Me and your power will be multiplied and your strength doubled. Your spirit transports your body beyond the Earth. You must rejoice in the ascension through pure teachings. There is no love greater than love.” “Naught occurs by accident. My Power is with you. We can change Our appearance. Through faith increase your strength.” “Love Me — your Spiritual Teacher. Your destiny is to bring the inextinguishable Light to ardent hearts. Realize the joy of fighting for My Cause. Easy is destruction, but you must build wisely. Being able to help is a great happiness.” “In the Universe all things are but a reflection of the Divine, and in each spark of light the Divine Energy is at play. Light unto all of you!” “Hearken to the Celestial Song, and when on the summits of the mountains pine not for the flowers in the valley. I rejoice in your striving for creation. Miracles are created in life amidst action and in tensed harmony. Dreams are realized not in fairy tales but through happy communion with the Ways of the Blessed Ones. The Teacher is near you at every moment of your creative labor. Learn — and teach.”

Poland has given the world many exceptional and life-enriching composers, and Chopin is perhaps the most famous. Regarded as a leader and figurehead of the Romantic era, Chopin was also an astonishing virtuoso pianist. Throughout his short but stunning life, he focused on pianistic compositions and transformed the limits of the instrument with his poetic interpretations. Many of his works are beloved personal favorites for people from all walks of life, which speaks universally to hearts around the world and through the ages. Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin was born in 1810, in the small village of Żelazowa Wola, Poland. The young Chopin’s family soon moved to Warsaw, which is where Fryderyk spent his youth. Chopin’s array of solo piano works includes meditative nocturnes and preludes, ballades, highly technical etudes, fanciful impromptus, and soul-searching sonatas, in addition to dances such as polonaises, waltzes, and mazurkas. He wrote two piano concertos and a number of chamber pieces. For many of these genres, he expanded and reinvented the form with inspiration of ineffable depth. We will now listen to Chopin’s “Waltz No. 10 in B minor, Op. 69, No. 2” performed by distinguished Russian pianist, Mr. Mikhail Turpanov. The dance’s rhythm and gentle melody remind us of the great ballrooms of Vienna, with people swirling together with freedom and joy. Seemingly improvisatory in pure inspiration and flow, every piece that Chopin penned was a gleaming gem. There was also a certain dreaminess and sentimentality, often paired with a consoling melancholy in his work. He frequently used widely spaced chords in the bass, with delicate ornaments such as trills, grace notes and runs, as well as a beauteous background of harmony that framed the melody. He shared his ideals with his students by declaring, “Everything must be made to sing.” Let’s listen to another elegant piece composed by Chopin “Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 55, No. 2” performed by the talented Ms. Anna Lipiak.

Today, we are privileged to feature a charismatic lady, Dolly Vyas-Ahuja, whose powerful example of unconditional love and tireless work for our precious animal friends in the last five years are worthy of our high esteem and accolades. Dolly moved with her family to the USA as a one-year-old. Although her family had traditionally been vegetarian, she was allowed to adopt a non-vegetarian diet. One day in April 2014, however, she came across a speech online known as “The Greatest Speech Ever” by renowned animal freedom fighter Gary Yourofsky. She was so shocked by the graphic depictions of what occurs behind closed doors on the factory farms of the world that she had an emotional breakdown that night, turning vegan from that day on. Becoming vegan awakened Dolly to the long spiritual heritage of her motherland, which is centered around the concept of ahimsa. Dolly upholds the ethics behind ahimsa in all forms, decrying not just meat and dairy, but also the use of honey, silk, eggs, and leather. She is dismayed that India, where cows are held sacred, is today one of the largest exporters of leather in the world. “A lot of people don't know, but India is one of the largest beef exporters in this world.” “We need to get this word ahimsa back, that originated in our country, because we've become so far away from it.” To achieve that goal, Dolly has been working tirelessly on a feature-length documentary entitled “The Land of Ahimsa,” which is scheduled for release in late 2020. “The Land of Ahimsa covers my journey of going vegan overnight, and going back to India to my motherland with two new sets of eyes to see – to see animal cruelty for the first time. And the movie covers a lot of amazing people here in the United States and in India.”

Leaves of Morya’s Garden: Spiritual Guidance Recorded by Nicholas and Helena Roerich (vegetarians), Part 1 of 2
The esteemed mystical and philosophical writers Nicholas and Helena Roerich are two of the most influential spiritual thought leaders from Russia, recognized for founding the doctrine of Agni Yoga, also known as Living Ethics. Traveling extensively throughout Asia to deepen their spiritual studies, the Roerichs eventually met their Master in Darjeeling, India. The ascended Venerated Master Morya, also known as El Morya, is a Master of the Great White Brotherhood, an order of ascended Masters and Their incarnated disciples, one of whom was Helena Blavatsky. Today, we will read some of the lovingly dictated messages of Master Morya, as written down by his disciples, in the book “Leaves of Morya’s Garden.” “The miracle of Beauty in the adornment of our daily lives will exalt mankind. Raise high your light. Illumine the beauties of My Temple. Teach the Joy of Beauty. Teach the Happiness of Wisdom. Teach the Bliss of Love. Teach the Glory of Unity with God. I will grant you the power and fleetness of Mercury. Go forward without doubt, without fear, without turning back.” “Love and striving work miracles in life. We are awakening your energy for new thoughts, which are needed for transmutation, and for the work of thought in life. You must find the resources to create a new life. We send you thoughts — sharpen them without violating Karma.” “I reveal to you the profundity of Ramakrishna’s simple teachings. We, all together, implement the Will of the Creator. Your strength grows through prana.” “I will grant you the power to lead souls to God. I will endow you with the gift of bringing joy to others. Teach the manifestation of Morya. Teach — I will help you.” “We rejoice, O Lord, to offer to Thee our garden. Depart not, O Manifested Lord. Leave not our garden. With stars is Thy Path adorned. By them do we find Thy Way. We shall follow Thee, O Lord. Should the sun’s morning rays banish Thy starry signs, Then will we invoke the aid of storm and whirlwind to obscure its rays. Of what use the sun, if it banish Thy starry tokens?”

Supreme Master Ching Hai (Vegan) on the Harmful Effects of Meat, Part 18 - Lessons Learned from Animals
Supreme Master Ching Hai (Vegan) on the Harmful Effects of Meat, Part 18 - Lessons Learned from Animals
As most humans have lost the ability to telepathically communicate with each other and other beings, we do not know how animals think and feel. Fortunately, there are spiritual practitioners and animal communicators who can perceive the thoughts and feelings of animals. Today, we’ll present some of these people’s personal experiences encountering animals. “(It scared me also, that I can talk to the animals.) Why? It's good! (Yeah, because I didn't expect that they can respond me in the psychic. Sometimes when I pass by on the street and the dogs come by and I can hear his feeling or what he wants. Like sometimes I talk to them, but they are very scared. They keep distance from people, you know, they have broken heart, and they can hardly believe anymore that people can mean goodness to them.)” “(Recently, I went to a conference hall in Greece, and previously, it was a slaughterhouse.) Ah! Yes! (And I started feeling uncomfortable, and had pictures of panic and fright, and I didn't know why. I felt the pain and the panic. So, I started reciting the (Holy) Names, and I really cried for them, and I saw Your presence there. And their souls, I felt that their souls were liberated. They were previously entrapped in pain, in a level of pain. And through the reciting of the (Holy) Names and the prayer, they were liberated. ) Yeah, wonderful! (And I was grateful, and they were grateful immediately.) Oh, I am grateful to you, that you were there. (Thank You!) They were liberated... You bring love and blessing to them. (Yes, thanks to You, thanks to You. I brought You there, and it was such peace all over the place, and I immediately felt better, so I knew, I knew.)” “(I’d like to share something about the animals. I used to go and visit the cows. There was a field nearby with the cows. And sometimes I just needed to get something out, something off my chest and I’d cry from the bottom of my heart. And whenever I felt that way, the cows, I’d go and visit them, and they’d come right up to the fence every single time. And they also, they said a few things. They said they were very grateful for Supreme Master Television, for the work that You’re doing, for the work that all the disciples are doing. And sometimes I’d see one or two of the cows crying. And they said that it wasn’t because they knew of their fate, that they were going to die. They were crying for mankind.) They really feel sorry for humans, they don’t hate humans for hurting them even, the animals. When we’re hurting them, they are praying for us. They’re forgiving and they feel sorry for us so much. Because they feel that humans are so ignorant, they really didn’t know what they’re doing. So they feel very sorry. Yeah, so it’s good that you have such experience, very profound.”

Shining World Compassion and Hero Award Recipient: Damien Mander (vegan) – A Valiant Animal Defender
Damien served in elite Australian special operations military units when he was young. Exploring a number of occupations after completing his service, he arrived in Africa, where he discovered he could put his military skills to good use. Using his life savings, Mr. Mander founded the International Anti-Poaching Foundation (IAPF) in 2009, to protect and preserve wildlife in many regions. The non-profit is a direct-action law enforcement organization. "The organization started with Damien training small units of anti-poaching rangers in Zimbabwe and then later in other parts of southern Africa, applying military derived tools and techniques to making those rangers more efficient, getting them the equipment and the basic training that they needed. And as time's gone on, what we found is that engagement with communities, getting the communities onside, understanding the value of the wildlife and the broader ecosystems and environment that those animals live in, is the only way to come up with a permanent solution." Among the projects done by Damien Mander are the recently created “Akashinga,” or “The Brave Ones” program and introducing economic and social opportunities as well as the plant-based lifestyle to women in rural Zimbabwe. The Award Letter from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai for this noble wildlife protector reads: "Dear Damien, It is with great admiration and gratitude that we present to you the 'Shining World Compassion and Hero Award' for empowering rangers to protect wildlife. You have created Akashinga ('The Brave Ones'), a team of heroic field warriors made up of underprivileged women from the rural Zimbabwe community. These highly-trained female rangers are guardians of the nation’s precious and endangered wildlife. We humbly offer this Award in recognition of your foundation’s exemplary efforts to actively stop poaching, the military-grade training you provide, and the dignity and self-belief given to locals. For your innovative solution to conservation, for teaching others that real love for animals begins on out plate, and for your unparalleled skills and noble wisdoms, we hereby applaud and celebrate the heroic and compassionate deeds of Damien Mander. May you and all involved in your care be forever protected and blessed by all Heavens and Earth. With all Love and gratitude. With Great Honour, Love and Blessings in God’s Grace Supreme Master Ching Hai"

A study by the Australian government’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) has determined that there are at least 14 million metric tons of microplastics littering the sea bed. The study was conducted by sending a robot submarine into the Great Australian Bight off the coast of South Australia. The submarine collected samples from six sites up to 3,000 meters deep, and discovered that for every gram of sediment, there was 1.26 pieces of microplastic. As urban areas were not included in the estimate, the actual amount is potentially much higher. Our appreciation, CSIRO, for your study into the serious extent of plastic pollution on the ocean floor. We pray that all nations, corporations and people will work together to limit plastic waste through recycling and switching to eco-friendly alternatives.Up next, Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, establishes nature reserve. Twenty-one-year-old Justin Fields, a quarterback for Ohio State University, impressed his coaches with his off-season workout after transitioning to a plant-based diet. In the previous season, Justin was already a nationally recognized, stellar athlete, but after the team’s nutrition staff helped him make the dietary shift, he became an even “stronger and faster player.” A number of American professional football players, including Cam Newton and Tom Brady, have also credited the vegan diet for their performance improvements in recent years. Congratulations, Justin Fields, on achieving a new level of prowess sustained by a compassionate diet. Trained in Tanzania as a HeroRAT by Belgian non-governmental anti-landmine organization APOPO, Magawa only needs 30 minutes to thoroughly search an area that would normally take a person up to four days. Using his light weight and keen sense of smell, he has cleared over 141,000 square meters of land in Cambodia, discovering 39 landmines and 28 items of unexploded ordinance. Local farmers and citizens are grateful to no longer be living in fear of injury. Our praise and congratulations, diligent Magawa, and many thanks, APOPO, for your lives-saving initiative! May the Divine continue to bless our amazingly intelligent and helpful animal friends.Did you have time to loosen up today? Now you can with a good laugh entitled “Habit to Fix.”Every day, Charley, a new retiree greeter at a supermarket, was 5, 10 and sometimes 15 minutes late to work. But he was otherwise an excellent worker: neat in appearance, alert and attentive to the customers, everything that an employer could ask for. One day, the boss called Charley into the office for a talk.“Charley, you do a great job, but you being late so often is a bit of a problem.”“Yes. I know boss, and I am working on it.”“Well thanks for your effort. That’s what I like to hear. It’s odd though, you always being late. I know you’re retired from the military. What did they say if you came in late there?”“They said, ‘Good morning, General. Tea or coffee this morning, Sir?’”And now we have a heartline from Hsin-Hsin Chang in Taiwan, also known as Formosa: Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai, I am a Taiwanese (Formosan) worker in New York City, USA. Recently, I came back to Taiwan (Formosa) and tested positive for COVID-19. I am very grateful that our government and the medical staff take care of every case with great consideration and love. I heard from Supreme Master Television that coronavirus originates from animals, so I ordered vegan meals offered at the hospital every day. My family also looked for all kinds of natural remedies online and sent those for me to try. At last, I saw a video clip from a phytopathologist from Wuhan, China sent by my father, which explains the method of cleaning coronavirus in the lungs by inhaling the garlic allicin vapor, so I decided to make the garlic paste in the hospital myself. Unexpectedly, my lungs had recovered 90% by the next morning and I got a negative result for COVID-19 on the following day. Therefore, I kept inhaling the garlic vapor twice a day, and I got 2 consecutive negative results in the same week. I sincerely thank You. Though I have already recovered and left the hospital, I still follow Your guidance by being vegan and praying for the world. I want to share Your merciful message with the world, and the miracle I was cured by the garlic, the beautiful plant gifted by God. With my highest regards to You, and the frontline medical workers who took care of me with their professionalism and love. Hsin Hsin from Taiwan (Formosa)Fortunate Hsin Hsin, Thank you for sharing your path to good health.Supreme Master Ching Hai has a reply for you: “Trusting Hsin Hsin, my deep Love extends to you, those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and all the courageous and selfless healthcare workers who have taken such good care of you and so many sick people suffering at this time. Bravo for making the change to a vegan diet! I pray that you and others will continue to make compassionate food choices and give our animal friends the respect and love they so rightly deserve. Thank you for sharing your story so that others may benefit. May you, your loved ones, and the considerate Taiwanese (Formosan) people be blessed by the Buddhas’ everlasting mercy.”We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineWe sure have enjoyed spending time with you on Noteworthy News. May Celestial love illuminate your heart.

Today, we will continue with Frater Ralph M. Lewis’s “The Sanctuary of Self,” and the chapter “Love and Desire,” in Part One of his book entitled, “The Mysteries.” “There are also the intellectual loves, the desires of the mind. The mind, the active intelligence, as we know, can establish ends, can aspire to purposes. These aspirations are mental ideals.” “Each such intellectual ideal, though it satisfies the intellectual love in part, impels the love to create still greater ones which bring increasing intellectual satisfaction. Whereas physical love, if indulged too frequently, may become satiated, intellectual loves ever increase the enjoyment they provide the mind of man. The ideals of the intellectual nature of man are knowledge and accomplishment. The intellect must become married to these ideals if it is to experience normalcy, regardless of what loves and gratifications man may have physically.” “What do the Rosicrucians say of love? From a Rosicrucian viewpoint, a rational approach to love is necessary. They realize, of course, that love is not merely an intellectual experience; but, on the other hand, they also realize that it is essential to understand the causes of love, so as to be able to produce the most lasting effect. First, they say that basically, all love is desire. It is a yearning or an appetite, if you will, for that which brings us pleasure. No one has ever loved that which brings pain, suffering, misfortune, or torment. Consequently, Rosicrucians contend that love is the desire for harmony. However, love of that which would be harmonious only to the physical senses, would leave certain other loves unrequited. The love of the intellect for the realization of its ideals would be neglected. The love of the emotional self would be forgotten, leaving it torn with fears, perhaps. The love of the spiritual self to express its sentiments psychically would also be submerged, if we were to concentrate on a love which brings harmony to the physical senses alone. Only as we experience the harmony of our whole being, all aspects of ourselves, do we experience absolute love, complete satisfaction. This absolute love is found in the health of the body and in its desire to maintain itself. It consists also of the love to exercise the creative powers of the mind and the love to express the spiritual values, such as compassion and self-sacrifice. The unity of these three loves, then, results in that great Rosicrucian ideal, Peace Profound.”

Combining her tremendous musical talents with profound eloquence, Dr. Kong delivers powerful messages that pull on the heart strings of audience members. Let’s now listen to a segment of her speech entitled “The Act of Courageous Compassion That Can Change Our World,” and a moving piano performance at the July 2019 North American Vegetarian Society Vegan Summerfest in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA. "I would simply say to people to not be afraid of what anyone else thinks, to learn to exercise your own independence and not be so dependent upon the culture. So many of us look at what everyone else does and think, 'Well, gee, everyone else eats animals, so gee, I better too.' If the emphasis can be on being independent, being powerful, empowering yourself. Look at the facts, go on the Internet, become educated about what animal exploitation is not only doing to your own health, but to the planet and the environment and especially our connectedness. We've lost our connection and sense of community with other sentient beings, who in essence are no different from us, so we need to re-establish that connection and I'm optimistic that it will happen. Be Veg, Go Green to Save the World." We’re deeply touched by Dr. Kong’s dedication to vegan advocacy and wish her continued success in all her noble endeavors.

“Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food” is an adage famously spoken by Hippocrates, the Greek physician. Hippocrates is known as the “Father of Medicine.” It’s not surprising then, that the incredible healing properties of living a whole-food plant-based lifestyle can be seen in those who follow Dr. Neal Barnard’s 21-Day Vegan Kickstart program. He is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient. Whole foods are plant foods that are unprocessed and unrefined, or processed and refined as little as possible, before being cooked. Examples of whole foods include whole grains, tubers, legumes, fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Also, most people enjoy familiar flavors and taste experiences. So, it is a bonus to realize that being vegan does not mean any sacrifice in taste. With Heaven’s blessing, nowadays there are vegan versions of everything - from meatless bacon, pulled “pork” jackfruit, plant-based jerky, mock lobster, vegan eggs, vegan burgers, vegan chicken strips, vegan sausages, vegan hotdogs, konjac seafood, … you name it, there’s a delectable vegan version, not to mention the multitude of vegan dairy-replacement options. Supreme Master Ching Hai explained during The Real Love in 2011: “You see, eating animal flesh, meaning we are decreasing our love in our being, from our structure, holy structure. We are born from God, we were holy, we were true humans, we were true children of God. But if we eat the animals, then the mixing of blood types and genetic code between humans and animals makes us lose our status as the crown of creation, as true humans. As pure humans, the children of God, we are under direct connection with the Light, with the mighty Master power of the commanding center of the universe. We have absolute command over all under Heaven, because we were pure, and we’re children of God.” With all the research work done, it’s now time to take action. First of all, you want to clean out your refrigerator. Throw away any animal products like meat, eggs, dairy, honey, and any condiments that have animal products. Next, fill it with health-friendly foods like fresh legumes, vegetables, fruits, some meat and dairy alternatives, and so on. Make a trip to your local fruiterer or farmers market for the freshest and healthiest supplies!

A teď máme mutovaný COVID-19.

In today’s news, Eswatini receives food aid from Japan, scientists determine potentially life-hosting planets in our galaxy, Fiji to implement ban on polystyrene, research finds care robots enhance senior mental wellness, boy carries uniquely-abled friend to school for a decade in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), Nestlé launches vegan version of its popular chocolate drink in Europe, and United States charity equips fire departments with pet oxygen masks.Japan provides vital food assistance to Eswatini. The Japanese government, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, has contributed US$1.9 million to the United Nations World Food Programme that will deliver food aid to approximately 30,000 Emaswati families for six months. COVID-19-related effects, droughts, and poor harvests have made the support especially needed now. Recipients will receive monthly food baskets containing beans, cereals and vegetable oil. Commenting on the donation, the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Eswatini, His Excellency Norio Maruyama, said, “Our joint efforts will propel our cooperation in food security to new heights and strengthen our friendship further.” Our accolades, Japan, for your generous relief, especially during this urgent time, and thank you also, World Food Programme. May the peaceful Emaswati people soon have increasingly joyous and abundant lives, in Heaven’s infinite blessings.Scientists find 24 planets in Milky Way galaxy suitable for life. A research project, led by planetary scientist Dr. Dirk Schulze-Makuch of Washington State University in the United States, has found 24 “superhabitable” planets, all more than 100 light years away, that may have conditions better able to support life than our world. The scientists checked 4,500 planets using criteria to identify those around 10% larger than Earth, orbiting a star similar to our sun or one that is smaller and cooler, and having a mean surface temperature five degrees Celsius higher than Earth’s, among other factors. Their observations will enable scientists to continue researching them as a starting point when the next generation of telescopes become available. Exceptional news, Dr. Dirk Schulze-Makuch and co-scientists involved, on pinpointing these superhabitable planets. May future research lead to greater knowledge of our celestial neighbors, as we delve deeper into the wonders of the Cosmos.Up next, Fiji to implement ban on polystyrene. We’ll take a moment to thank tapers who seal joints between plasterboard or other wallboards to prepare wall surfaces for painting or papering. Will return with more soothing news after these messages here on Supreme Master Television.Hooray, treasured friends, it’s me, Chase the vegan Common Waxbill! My body thanks me every day. Why? Because I give it the best fuel, PLANTS! Be vegan and do something good for your body. I have a helpful tip for you today. For those with infants, it’s best not to microwave their bottle as many microwaves do not heat things evenly. “Hot spots” may be created in the baby formula that can cause burns in your baby’s mouth. Try warming the formula by immersing the bottle in a bowl of warm water or running warm tap water over it. Shake the bottle thoroughly. Remember to check the temperature on your hand or wrist before you feed it to your baby. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.Fiji forbids polystyrene products. Effective the beginning of 2021, the non-biodegradable substance also known as styrofoam, that is often used to produce food and fragile item packaging, is prohibited by Fiji’s Climate Change Act (Act). Passed in 2019, the Act addresses the nation’s global warming response and the menace of plastic pollution entering the Pacific Ocean. Aside from polystyrene, the law prohibited single-use plastic bags starting in 2020 and also raised an existing levy on low-density polyethylene plastic bag purchases to almost 25 US cents this year. Several other Pacific Island countries have likewise outlawed single-use plastic bags. Our admiration and respect, Fiji, for your determination to restore our invaluable environment. In Heaven’s grace, may governments worldwide swiftly take significant steps to return our planet to a pristine state.Investigation shows better mental health in elderly with robot companion. Trials held in Japan and the United Kingdom at senior care homes demonstrated that residents who interacted with Pepper, a “culturally competent” robot, for up to 18 hours in a two-week period had appreciable improvement in their mental wellness and a decrease in loneliness. Developed by project partner SoftBank Robotics, Pepper can move autonomously, gesture with robotic arms, conduct conversations, and discover an individual’s interests. The study was co-funded by the European Union, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate, and the Japanese government, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, and led by the University of Genoa in Italy, which created the robot’s artificial intelligence. Many thanks to all involved in this intriguing study. May our beloved wise elders be blessed to live peaceful and joyful golden years, in God’s benevolence.Kind Aulacese or Vietnamese teen carries friend to school for 10 years. Since 2011, the Emma Zen Foundation has donated over 7,500 animal oxygen masks to fire departments and first responders in the United States to help animal companions that suffer from smoke asphyxiation and breathing issues during emergencies such as home fires. The masks have saved cats, dogs, miniature pigs, guinea pigs and an iguana. Established by Debra Jo Chiapuzio, a former pet first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) instructor, the foundation was named after Emma Zen, a sweet dog that was saved from a wildfire in Southern California and adopted by Ms. Chiapuzio. The charity also offers various pet first aid and emergency preparedness courses to the public to advance animal companion safety. It was a hard year to get through, but with the help of God, my wife and children, we managed to get through the hard time.In 2019, before the new harvest, I dreamed of our Master. I offered Her a bowl of water to drink and wanted to wash Her dusty feet. Master refused and said, “You have no time to lose, go to your field and harvest your corn immediately.” Then I woke up. It was four o'clock in the morning. I woke up my family. We went out into the fields and started harvesting corn. We slept there at night so as not to waste time going home. Farmers who passed by my field were surprised that I was clearing my field one week before the harvest started. When I told them about my dream, they laughed at me and went on their way. After three days, the corn was safely stored. Two days later, it started to rain heavily. It rained for 10 days with few interruptions. A large amount of corn and millet in the fields spoiled due to the wetness and became inedible for humans. Master, I thank You with all my heart for Your advice. I am full of love for You and have all confidence in You. Your devoted student, Pierre Landehoué from BeninBlessed Pierre, Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story! The Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis, also known as the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, is a worldwide cultural, educational, and philosophical organization that is perpetuating the profound and practical teachings of the Rosicrucians. The Rosicrucian library is a source of spiritual wisdom and insight that includes the important writings by the respected imperators of the Order such as Dr. Harvey Spencer Lewis, Ralph M. Lewis, and Christian Bernard. Now, we will read from chapter IV, “Love and Desire,” from Part One - “The Mysteries,” in Frater Ralph M. Lewis’s book, “The Sanctuary of Self.” “Love is perhaps the most perplexing to mankind of all his inner experiences, and yet it is one had by every individual to some extent. Love is not a product of the It, is not an intellectual achievement, but an emotional, psychic one had by the self. Because it is such, love has been idealized by the poets and bards to such an extent that most persons believe that it is something to be left to a chance experience, or to be mysteriously attained without formula or method.” “The physical nature of man is one aspect of his generally accepted triune being. There are factors which are essential to it, such as food, drink, shelter, and sleep. When there is a deficiency of them, there is unbalance. The plenitude or fullness of man’s physical nature is its normal state. This normalcy is accompanied by the sensation of gratification, a kind of pleasure which we know as happiness. When there is a deficiency, a lack of that upon which man’s physical being depends, we become conscious of an irritability or of a disharmony. This disharmony engenders desire.” “Each of our objective or receptor senses has an ideal or a quality which is sought after.” “Each sense has a corresponding quality or beauty which is desired. Anything which will bring pleasure or gratification to a sense is by another name beautiful to it.” “Desire, then, is the urge to find the beautiful or its equivalent. It is the seeking out of that thing or condition which will satisfy that nature which the desire serves.” “Man must realize, however, that the end of life is not merely the satisfaction of the physical desires. To pursue these physical loves alone leaves unsatisfied the desires of the other natures. It keeps man continually in distress.”

“So, one of the winners for this year's social innovation Hackathon is the Circuit Plus, which in Mandarin is called ‘Feng Cha.’ ‘Feng Cha’ or ‘Tea Serving’ is a very venerated tradition in Taiwan (Formosa) where the shops put a very large pot of tea outside of their door for people who are thirsty to refill their cups. It’s like a self-serving water station.” “So, this is a game, based on not using plastic bottles, but rather using refills as a habit. Because we know that people who refill is a habit. And for people who buy fresh bottles, that is also a habit. And habits are very difficult to change. So, making a funny game where people would not think that, ‘Oh, I'm getting a water refill,’ but rather, ‘I am participating in the revitalization of peace and culture.’ And that is the angle that can get people to really change their behavior and save plastic bottles and save the planet.” “To me, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is ‘Assistive Intelligence’ meaning that, just like a human assistant, we would ask for their values to align with ours.” “So, it’s useful in three different areas. One is simply about saving time. There is a lot of public sector work that is routine, that is paper based. And for a paper-based copy, to make ten copies it’s ten times more time and resources, compared to making one copy. But in digital, making ten copies or making 10,000 copies, it’s the same time, the same resources. And so, in the digital world, making copies is essentially at no marginal cost.” “So aside from digitization, we also make optimization. For example, a lot of people in the Taiwan (Formosa) Water company are listening to water pipes for possible leaks, because in Taiwan (Formosa), water resource is an important thing. In the Keelung region, for example, it takes on average two months for a water leak to happen and to be discovered by the rotating people who listen to the pipe with a stethoscope-like device. So, using Assistive Intelligence, they built a chatbot as part of one of the Presidential Hackathons a couple years ago, so that the repair people can wake up and look at the chatbot, and the chatbot informs them that these are three likely leaking places, by analyzing the water pressure, water flow and things like that, and with 70-percent confidence.” “And finally, it could also lead to new ways to think about the public sector service.”

"Leo Tolstoy said, 'When we wish to harm others, we really do evil to ourselves.' And I think, the way we have harmed animals, it’s now clear that that is going to lead to the destruction of the planet through climate chaos." The Amazon rainforest, considered the "lungs of the Earth," is being razed at a frighteningly rapid pace for animal livestock raising. "We have to end animal agriculture, and then we have to reforest the Earth and tackle the idea of private property and selfishness and say, 'The forests are something that are for the survival of the whole planet.'" The animal livestock industry needs to end as soon as possible. Dr. Krajnc sees the immediate need for initiatives to help industry farmers adopt vegetable farming or enter other professions that are beneficial to our planet’s environment. "I think it’s important for governments to promote a just transition in our society so that we can close down animal agriculture facilities and create plant-based ones. The most powerful actor in our current world, in human affairs, is our governments at this point. And I think they have a responsibility to end animal agriculture subsidies and to put money towards a just transition. One way to get there is for grassroots groups to start showing examples of that, to give them something to look at." Anita also has a very clear idea of how to help people embrace veganism. "I think the most powerful way to switch to a vegan diet is to help people become activists. Once your friends and family become activists, they will then promote others to become vegan and activists. So I think we have to follow in the footsteps of (Mahatma) Gandhi and Martin Luther King. What they did in their struggles for equality was they built a mass-based grassroots movement. It’s no different for animal rights." Our appreciation goes to Dr. Anita Krajnc and the vigil teams across the globe for raising the public’s awareness of the tremendous suffering of animals raised for food and that the cruelty-free lifestyle is humanity’s future. May your loving and compassionate actions quickly change people’s hearts and further speed us toward a peaceful vegan world.
