In today’s news, Israel and Bahrain establish friendly relations, record temperatures sweep Northern Hemisphere during summer of 2020, Scotland to adopt low-emission buses, Australian scientists create artificial skin that reacts to stimulations, study finds doing acts of kindness boosts well-being, international survey indicates growing number of people are relinquishing meat habit, and animal rescue group saves hundreds of canines in the United States.

Israel and Bahrain begin cooperation following historic peace deal.

Director of Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency, The Honorable Yossi Cohen, visited Bahrain for security talks just days after a landmark agreement was made to restore ties between the two countries. The accord was mediated by President of the United States, His Excellency Donald Trump, a Shining World Peace Leader Award and a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate. Director Yossi Cohen met with National Intelligence Agency President, The Honorable Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al-Fadhel, and Strategic Security Bureau Chairman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation, including response efforts to the pandemic, and reaffirmed their promotion of peace and stability in the region. We laud your goodwilled exchanges, Bahrain and Israel and the respected officials involved. In Heaven’s joy, may the momentum of neighborly friendship continue to spread throughout the Middle East and beyond.

Warmest recorded summer experienced in the Northern Hemisphere.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a United States governmental agency, found that the average global land and ocean surface temperature from June to August of this year, was 0.92°C higher than the 20th-century average. This made it the Northern Hemisphere’s hottest summer on record, and the third-hottest summer globally in NOAA’s 141-year record. August, in particular, was recorded as the warmest August for the Northern Hemisphere, at 1.19°C above average, alongside the second-warmest August globally at 0.94°C above average. The western states in the US – such as California – have already been experiencing extreme weather conditions this year, with wildfires that perpetuate hot, dry weather and strong winds. Thank you, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, for the vital information. In Celestial guidance, we pray that all humans quickly reverse this alarming trend on our precious planet Earth, starting with being vegan.

Up next on Noteworthy News, Scotland to adopt low-emission buses. We are going to thank the dental informaticists who utilize new technologies to advance research in dental practices. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more benefiting news.

Hallo virtuous viewers, it’s Wendy the vegan Welsh Corgi! Can you honestly think of a better way to live than being vegan? It just feels so awesome! Let’s start today and make our world a better place! I have some safety tips for those with babies. Sofas, beds and the floor are not safe places for infants to sleep. If they do fall asleep on any of these, please move them elsewhere. A cradle, crib, or bassinet are the best places to ensure a safe sleep. Just be sure to take out any blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, bumpers and other soft items to reduce chances of suffocation. Furthermore, don’t put your little one down to sleep with other children or pets, and always lay your baby down on her back to sleep. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for your attention. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

Scotland invests in green transportation.

The Scottish government is investing £9 million in ultra-low emission buses to improve air quality while promoting the country’s green economy. Known as the Scottish Ultra-Low Emission Bus Scheme, funding from the latest initiative will help bus operators invest in super clean vehicles that run on hydrogen-electric or fully electric technologies. The endeavor follows up on the Scottish Green Bus Fund, which saw £17 million invested between 2011 and 2018, and helped to debut almost 500 greener buses across the nation. Scotland has been paving the way as a global environmental leader, having already made a legally-binding resolution to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. Hats off, Scotland! May your fortunate citizens enjoy green travel and pristine air as more nations follow your lead to a sustainable future, in Divine grace.

Researchers develop artificial skin that can sense pressure and temperature.

Dr. Madhu Bhaskaran and co-researchers, from RMIT University in Australia, have created an ultra-fast, electronic skin that can sense and respond to pain in the same manner as human skin. The stretchable material is comprised of silicon and oxides, making it as thin as a sticker and very strong, yet also compatible with living tissue. It sends an electronic signal to the person after sensing pain from a sharp object, extreme heat or cold. Furthermore, the device also has memory cells so that thresholds can be set to determine when it should respond. Amazing work, Dr. Madhu Bhaskaran and co-researchers, creating an artificial skin to help protect people’s precious bodies. May your medical marvel soon be available for all who require it, as we use our intelligence and resources to help one another, in Heaven’s blessing.

Helping others can improve health and well-being.

Researchers from The University of Hong Kong found a modest – yet significant – association between prosocial behavior and enhanced mental and physical health. Published in Psychological Bulletin, an American academic journal, the study involved over 198,000 participants and analyzed 201 independent studies. It was determined that people who performed kind acts every day experienced small but meaningful connections. Furthermore, random acts of kindness were deemed more impactful for overall well-being than formal, charitable activities, such as a scheduled volunteering event. The study’s lead author, Dr. Bryant P.H. Hui, commented, “…altruism, cooperation, trust and compassion are all necessary ingredients of a harmonious and well-functioning society. It is part of the shared culture of humankind….” Well done, Dr. Bryant P.H. Hui and fellow researchers, on this fascinating study. In God’s love, may engaging in kind deeds for others be foundational among all of us for a happier world.

Coming up, international survey indicates growing number of people are relinquishing meat habit. It’s time for us to step outside and take a deep breath of fresh air to get the heart pumping and rejuvenate the brain. We’ll be right back with more exceptional news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Forward-thinking News for a Progressive World.

New study shows one-third of people have reduced or eliminated meat from their diets.

A study by FMCG Gurus, a United Kingdom-based market research agency which specializes in consumer and shopper behavior, found that 20% of global consumers are flexitarian (meaning they limit meat consumption and favor vegan proteins). Meanwhile, 11% are vegetarian, and 3% vegan. After interviewing 31,000 people in 26 countries around the world, the report also noted that 54% of the people polled do not eat meat or have looked to reduce their intake of it in the last 12 months. Exceptional findings, FMCG Gurus, that one-third of the people surveyed have reduced or eliminated meat! In Divine wisdom, may the growing trend of responsible, healthy and ecologically-conscious eating continue until the entire planet is enveloped in our loving choices.

Animal rescue group saves hundreds of canines in the United States.

Founded in 2013 by Debbie Woosley, volunteer-run animal rescue Forget-Me-Not has saved over 300 large-breed dogs in Manatee County, Florida. The group rescues mostly pit bull mixes who are at risk of being abandoned or euthanized due to their age, breed, appearance, or health issues. With a new lease of life, the dogs are given veterinary care, rehabilitation, and a safe environment at the shelter or foster homes, before finding their forever families. Founder and president Ms. Woosley said, “We [are] a bridge. They have a way to cross over to us, be safe, have a good home, and not have to worry about being hungry again.” Our hearts are touched with gratitude, Debbie Woosley and Forget-Me-Not. May we treat every sentient being with care and consideration, in the merciful gaze of Heaven.

Let’s ease our mind with a joke of the day entitled “Help to Define.”

“What would you call a person who keeps on talking when people are no longer interested?”

“Hm... A high school teacher!”

And now we have a heartline from Ramzy in Iran:

Hi, I am from Iran and a new Supreme Master TV viewer; it is a great and peaceful TV channel. We have many kind people and NGOs (non-governmental organizations) in Iran that help animals and protect them, especially dogs, so I decided to contact and tell you about these NGOs. Here is one of the biggest dog shelters.

This is the official website: vafashelter.com/vafa-animal-shelter

and you can watch here many videos of them: vafashelter.com/video

They hope to improve and promote our peaceful nation. Thanks for your great work. Ramzy from Iran

Remarkable Ramzy, It was enjoyable reading your note. Our appreciation for introducing us to the Vafa Animal Shelter; the canine residents there look quite lovely! Animal advocates around our world would agree with your message about the importance of supporting the animals. May you, the faithful people of Iran and the nation’s animals be protected always, in Allah’s benevolence, Supreme Master TV team

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
