Today we’ll examine the problem of global waste and learn how to live a zero-waste lifestyle. Everyone sees we have a problem with plastic, and everyone knows we need to solve it. And it’s urgent. Everyone knows that if we don’t do something about this, plastic will suffocate our oceans, will cause ever-worse health problems for human beings. We need to do something about this. We cannot keep giving poison to the Earth because it will stay in the soil forever and keep building up generation after generation. We should do what we can to minimize harm to the environment because that’s our duty. We should do that, we should be kind.

Ori Shavit : Pionnière d'un Israël végan – Une bouchée à la fois, partie 2/3.

We are privileged to ask Ori Shavit to introduce us to the vegan scene in Israel. She began by sharing with us the historical background of the Israeli cuisine. Ori also shared with us the exciting development of vegan products in Israel. "Even dairy companies and meat companies are joining this revolution. In Israel, you can see that. We have one of the biggest meat companies, they have a whole line of vegan products and they invest profits in cultured meat research." "That is my mission to help people to learn how to cook vegan, vegan dishes simply, happily, tastefully, in their own kitchens."

Les uniques et fascinants Axolotls

Even though we axolotls are actually salamanders, some people somehow got into the habit of calling us the "Mexican walking fish." We have a distinct appearance with a wide head, lidless eyes, and a long, tapered tail, as well as four limbs with tiny digits at the ends. The six feathery branches on our head - our most noticeable feature - are external gills for respiration. Probably our most fascinating feature is our ability to heal and regenerate. If we have any nicks or wounds, they will close up without any scar.

Des inventions écologiques

The UK company, Skipping Rocks Lab, based in London, has developed a packaging alternative for drinking water and other beverages that eliminates the need for plastics. The process encapsulates drinking water in a flexible membrane or blob made of brown seaweed that is completely biodegradable, edible, and vegan. Besides eco-friendly inventions that reduce waste on land, brilliant inventions have been created to remove trash from bodies of water. Mr. Trash Wheel is a trash interceptor invented by Mr. John Kellett in 2008 that removes trash from the Jones Falls River at Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The waste collected is recycled or goes to waste-to-energy facilities.

Besides being able to avoid busy street-level traffic, they can take off from and land on short runways or helipads. Today, we’ll find out what kinds of eco-friendly flying taxis will soon be available. Philip Wollen – The Venture Capitalist for Noble Causes, Part 1 of 4

Born in 1950, Mr. Wollen descended from a distinguished British family that had settled in India for generations. He traversed the highest reaches of financial success and power, yet gave them all up to follow the path of kindness. He is indeed one of the brightest beacons of light in the history of 21st century environmental protection and humanitarianism. “We’re running out of time. We need to focus very, very strongly on the vegan movement, because that is the enchanted key. Without veganism, nothing is going to happen. It is the only way out of this room, and the sooner we wake up to that obvious fact, the better. ”
