Growing up was challenging because I went to an all-girls school with over a thousand girls, and they, I remember going into Christian Studies, and they actually prayed for me because they said it was anti-biblical to be plant-based, like it was against the principles of the Bible. And it was really challenging, and I think that’s where sport came in for me. I wanted to show them that actually you could be very strong, very fit, and healthy on a plant-based diet. It was my way of advocating.
