It’s not the political system only. It’s the bad karma (retribution), the collective bad karma of the people. Everybody has to grow up. And then the system will change. You see China has changed a lot. Âu Lạc (Vietnam) has changed a lot. Many countries changed a lot. All the Europeans became united. They used to fight and kill each other before. Just some ten years ago. And now they are friends. They use one single currency. They have one single parliament. One president takes turns every six months. That is a miracle. These used to be enemies. The European countries used to fight each other. And the Americans also fought the Europeans, to “liberate” some country.
Now Americans also are friends with the Europeans. Maybe not friends friends friends, like you and I, but they don’t fight each other. They don’t kill each other anymore. Very good things are happening. And Sri Lankans also don’t fight, don’t kill each other anymore. Oh, I could go on and on. Âu Lạc (Vietnam) also doesn’t fight anymore. Africa is good. Africans, South Sudan and North Sudan, it’s still a little scratchy, but not so bad. And Ivory Coast. Oh, many, many countries. So look at this progress. It is slow and not as perfect as we want, but it’s getting better. So many countries. Many war-torn countries before have become peaceful and rebuilding their countries. If only they became all vegan, then peace will be, okay, quick! But like this, it is slow.
We can’t always complain about the government or the system. This is good as it is, and then it will improve. But of course, it would be better if the leaders themselves try, at least, to be a better example. And then, he or she might inspire the whole nation to become better. All we can do is just pray, meditate more and spread the positive news, hoping more and more people will join, at least vegan, or practice some meditation, be good. Then the atmosphere of the world will change. And then the governments will change. Otherwise, we cannot change it. And I can only pray so that one day everybody becomes better, including the police and the government. So that people are free to live in dignity like a human and can freely voice what they want to voice. And the government should listen. Right or wrong, they should listen.
