And now, performance groups from around the world have assembled here in Hsihu to celebrate the Lunar New Year and honor our wonderful guests. Now let the performances begin. All the way from the sunny state of California, USA, San Jose Center, we have a dance in three parts, entitled “Âu Lạc (Vietnam) New Year’s Celebration.” Part one is called “The Gong Dance,” part two is called “The Hip Hop Flower Dance,” and part three is called “The Happy Apple Cider Glass Dance.” And for part three, you are invited to join. San Jose initiates will perform three songs, “A Story at the Beginning of the Year,” “O Spring” and “New Year Cheers.”

“On this spring day, with a toast, best wishes to all! May farmers happily harvest rice so aromatic May businesspeople gain profits May citizens be warmly sheltered and well nourished Leaving behind a life of poverty and hardship […]”

“These songs are all wishing for a happy New Year, harmony at home, prosperity in business, and so on. And more inspiration for artists so that they can paint more paintings, write more songs and poems to beautify the world, and so on. All are beautiful and auspicious, happy and praising the spring, and for New Year.”

From the country of Âu Lạc (Vietnam), here are the dances – “O Spring” and “New Year in My Hometown.”
