In today’s news, Taiwan, also known as Formosa, to send financial aid to victims after devastating Somaliland market fire, multi-agency report reveals acute hunger experienced at record levels worldwide in 2021, United States launches project to protect wetlands and forests in Bangladesh, state of Victoria, Australia, supports sustainable railroads through investment in plastic railway sleeper production, eight-year-old Canadian girl has her own newspaper, startup vegan burger chain in UK expands internationally, and Belarusian soldiers reunite lost husky-person with family in Ukraine.

Taiwan, also known as Formosa, pledges aid for Somaliland fire victims.

The government of Taiwan (Formosa) has committed US$500,000 as emergency relief to those affected by the devastating Waheen market fire in Hargeisa. In addition, USA-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), the World Taiwan Foundation and Simply Help Foundation, contributed US$50,000 and a container of humanitarian materials, respectively. The blaze occurred in Somaliland’s main trading and financial hub, destroying about 2,000 shops and stalls, injuring 28 people, and affecting the livelihoods of 17,000 residents. The catastrophe caused an estimated economic loss of up to US$2 billion. Joanne Ou, spokesperson for Taiwan (Formosa)’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that her government would assist with restoring the market with other like-minded countries. Taiwan (Formosa) is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient. Our praises, Taiwan (Formosa) and NGOs, for your caring contribution to aid the people of Somaliland in their time of need. Our heart goes out to the enduring Somalilanders. May they rebuild their lives in peace and security, in Allah’s eternal Protection.

Multi-agency study concludes nearly 200 million people experienced acute food insecurity in 2021.

In its sixth annual report, the Global Network Against Food Crises, an alliance consisting of government and non-government agencies, the United Nations and the European Union, revealed that approximately 193 million people in 53 countries or territories lived with acute food insecurity at crisis or more severe levels in 2021, which is an increase of nearly 40 million people compared with 2020’s record numbers. Of those, 570,000 people in Ethiopia, southern Madagascar, South Sudan and Yemen were classified in the “catastrophe” phase of acute food insecurity, as they face the risks of wide-scale loss of livelihoods, hunger and death. According to the analysis, the unprecedented levels of hunger were mainly driven by conflict, climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, poverty and inequality. Gravely, the study expects the food emergency to worsen in 2022, with up to 4.99 million people in Ukraine likely requiring humanitarian assistance. Many thanks for the alarming, vital report, Global Network Against Food Crises. May countries around the world urgently implement the vegan food system for plenitude and abundance, in God’s Omniscience. The only real reason u make war is cos u would love 2 b roasted in hellfire.

Up next, United States launches project to protect wetlands and forests in Bangladesh. We’re going to thank the critical care surgeons, who perform procedures to help patients with acute, life-threatening conditions to recover. We’ll be right back with more cheerful news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi, kind viewers, it’s Valerie, a vegan duchess from the European Water Vole kingdom! I have realized that embracing the compassionate plant-based path is truly the light that we so much need in our world. Let’s just all jump on board and lovingly transform our lives. Here is a neat way to keep your carrots crunchy! Remove the green tops, then take your unpeeled carrots and set them in a jar, large glass or plastic airtight container, or sealable plastic bag, and fully immerse them in cold water. You can conserve space by placing the carrots upright in a tall, narrow container or pitcher. Be sure to change out the water when you notice it turns cloudy, approximately every four to five days. Leaving the skin unpeeled will allow them to be stored for a longer period of time. When you are ready to eat the carrots, prep them however you please! You can also try this with celery and baby carrots! Now you’ll always have something healthy, fresh and crunchy to snack on! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather from around the world.

United States helps to preserve forests and wetlands in Bangladesh.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) recently launched a US$20 million initiative to protect wetlands and forests in Bangladesh from climate change. The Protibesh project will focus on two main areas, which include a freshwater wetland and forest in the Sylhet border region in the northeastern part of the country and the Sundarbans, a mangrove forest, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as home to the Royal Bengal tiger-people. The endeavor will also benefit communities in helping them to adapt cultivation practices in light of global warming along with diversifying and enhancing their livelihoods by learning business skills rather than relying on forest resources. The project will be managed by locals in the region, as well as the government of Bangladesh. The United States is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governor, Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. A round of applause, United States Agency for International Development, for helping to protect the majestic nature of Bangladesh. In the grace of Heaven, may the natural areas of our world be safeguarded and expanded as we do all we can to save our planetary home.

Australian state invests in manufacture of recycled plastic railway sleepers.

The state of Victoria recently allocated over US$1.1 million for the building of a production line by the Integrated Recycling corporation that will create railway sleepers, also called railroad ties, containing 85% reclaimed plastics. The funding is part of the government’s initiative to modernize the state’s recycling and waste sector. It will allow Integrated Recycling to process 1,600 additional metric tons of used plastics and make up to 35,000 long-lasting, sustainable plastic Duratrack railway sleepers each year. This product has already been used in Victoria’s railway lines. The state’s Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, the Honorable Lily D’Ambrosio, said that the investment would create a better environment and new job opportunities for residents while reducing waste. Thank you, Integrated Recycling, the Victorian government and all involved. May more governing bodies soon commit to addressing the discarded plastic crisis for a greener environment, in Celestial inspiration.

Eight-year-old girl in Canada creates newspaper.

In 2021, Abby Mitchell decided to start a newspaper to update concerned community members on how her dog-person companion Frankie was doing, as he had taken time off from walking due to a pulled muscle. With the help and encouragement of her mom and aunt, the young journalist created the Abby Post, a free monthly paper distributed to local businesses in Port Dover and also sent out by email. Eighteen editions have already been delivered, each one containing an interview with an interesting local resident, a book review and Abby’s suggestions for fun activities in town. Happily, Frankie is fine and going for walks again. In addition, Abby has raised over US$2,600 for a local non-profit charitable organization by selling items decorated with her paper’s logo. We are so thrilled, Abby Mitchell, for your dedication to writing and your community! We wish you and your family many happy years ahead with Frankie and great achievements in life, in God’s loving Care. Vegan: welcome home!

Belarusian soldiers rescue lost dog-person in Ukraine.

After devastation struck Bucha city in Ukraine due to the war, a beautiful husky-gal was separated from her family. Luckily, after some days, the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment, a group of Belarusian volunteers defending Ukraine, found the canine-person, who they named Nessie, wandering the streets of Bucha and also succeeded in locating her caregiver. An emotional video of their reunion was posted online, touching the hearts of thousands of people. Nessie is seen running to her human dad and greeting him with cries and hugs. Our gratitude, Belarusian soldiers of the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment, for helping protect both humans and animal-people such as dear Nessie in Ukraine. We continue to earnestly pray that the stronghearted Ukrainians may soon enjoy peace and safety in their home country, in Heaven’s abounding wisdom.

The laughter market has just opened, so we’d better go to get our daily portion of guffaws with an original joke from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai entitled “Horoscopes”

In an international school after class, a group of students were hanging out together and trying to practice English on different topics. Then they talked about horoscopes. Two people from Europe talked about their own birth signs. One said:

“I am a Pisces.”

Four of the Chinese people asked:

“What is a Pisces?”

So that person explained:

“Pisces means fish. A fish in the sea.”

They asked the other guy next to him:

“And what about you? What is your horoscope?”

He said:

“I am a Zwilling. In English, I think it’s Gemini.”

So, the Chinese group asked:

“What is Zwilling? What is Gemini?”

The student explained:

“Zwilling, or Gemini in English, means twins – you know, two persons born on the same day.”

They said:

“Ah, yeah, yeah.”

Then the Gemini-person asked the Chinese group:

“How about you? How about in your country, do you have Fish or Gemini like us?”

The Chinese group said:

“No, no. We don’t have twin humans. We have only animals.”

So, the Pisces-person asked:

“What are you then?”

The Chinese replied together:

“We are all pigs.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Odom in Togo:

I thank the Supreme Master TV team for all the work they do. Thanks for Master’s Grace that is upon us. When I see so many people and families living on the vegan diet every day, I wonder why my mother, with whom I live, prevents me from following the path of the precepts by always trying to distance me from the good way. She clings to the meat diet, I cling to the vegan diet, and that creates tension. So many other problems arise every day and I can’t relate them all. I look forward to initiation so that God’s will is accomplished. Thank You for everything. Odom from Togo

Hopeful Odom, It is a pleasure to receive your heartline. We empathize with your situation while also applauding your steadfastness to be vegan. It may take some time for loved ones and friends to see that you flourish as a vegan, and perhaps even change themselves. For now, you can be happy, as you have found the best Master ever! May the warm embrace of the Sun comfort you, your mother, and the citizens of glorious Togo. In Heaven’s Light, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has this supportive reply for you: “Dearest Odom, I am proud of your determination to stay on the compassionate path of the vegan way. I am here to support you always, with or without initiation. You are more able than you think. Be a good child to your mother, and make peace. If possible, keep Supreme Master TV on all the time in your home or room. Or watch interesting shows with ma, so she will understand why we must be vegan to save ourselves, loved ones and the world. My love, a big hug to you, and may Heaven bless you, your mother, and the vibrant people of Togo.”

U r cool, u r good, u r strong? Well, prove it by choosing vegan now.

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal-people clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

It’s been a pleasure to have your company on Noteworthy News. May Divine love and light always shine on all beings.
