In today’s news, Japan assists in boosting Zimbabwe’s food security, new study illustrates the high carbon emissions from ocean trawling, volunteers clean beaches and seabeds of Saudi Arabian islands, researchers make advancement in diagnosing rare heart condition in animals and humans, loving man custom builds his dog companion a special room in United States, Nestlé releases plant-based versions of its popular drinks in Malaysia, and Spain and Portugal’s conservation efforts boost the endangered Iberian lynx’s numbers.

Japan supports food security in Zimbabwe.

The Japanese government has donated US$1.25 million via the World Food Programme (WFP) to provide immediate access to food support for 11,080 people in the districts of Mount Darwin and Matobo. This aid will help rural residents severely impacted by climate change and COVID-19 to eventually achieve food sufficiency. As part of the long-term strategy to create sustainable livelihoods for the locals, small dams and nutrition gardens will be constructed, water conservation infrastructure improvements will be made, and tree planting will be undertaken along with training of community members to manage these assets. Japan has contributed over US$23 million to WFP to assist Zimbabwe since 2019, and is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Generosity, and Animal Protection laureate. Our appreciation, Japan, for your loving contribution and empathy for our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe. May your efforts help alleviate their hardship during the current humanitarian crisis in Heaven’s loving gaze.

Fishing method releases massive amounts of carbon.

A recent study by a team of 26 scientists and conservationists led by Dr. Enric Sala of National Geographic and the Pristine Seas project found that fishing fleets trawling the ocean floor are releasing up to an estimated 1.5 gigatons of carbon emissions every year. The amount is roughly equivalent to the annual carbon output of the global aviation sector. Trawling has long been known to be extremely destructive to the seafloor as it indiscriminately scrapes the bottom with heavy equipment and cruelly catches everything in the path of the nets. The researchers recommend expanding marine protected areas from their current 7% to at least 30% of the ocean by 2030 to help control this issue. Our heartfelt agreement, scientists! May humanity immediately stop trawling so that our oceans and the diversity of life they contain thrive in the grace of the Providence.

Up next, volunteers clean beaches and seabeds of Saudi Arabian islands. We’ll just take a moment to thank the digital photo retouchers that are specialized in digital photo editing, including color correction, merging and blending of images to create composites, smoothing hair, removing shadows or blemishes, and enhancing eye and teeth color to make beautiful finished digital images and prints. Please stay with us for more conscientious news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, gentle viewers, I’m Casey the vegan Coconut Crab. I can share with you a personal secret to look younger than your age. Just be vegan! Here is a parking tip for you. When you are parking perpendicularly, stop when you see the curb underneath your side mirror. This way, you won’t have to worry about scratching your bumper since there will be enough distance between your car and the curb. Thank you for tuning in, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather.

Caring citizens clean up Saudi Arabian islands.

Recently, a project took place during Saudi Environment Week to clean up the beaches and seabed of the country’s Farasan Islands. The goals of the event included spreading awareness of the importance of protecting sea life and the environment. Volunteers and scuba divers took part in the endeavor, which saw 700 kilograms of waste collected. The governor of the islands, His Excellency Hussain Al-Hazmi, noted that such programs are important as they strengthen Islamic values of protecting nature and also promote the importance of individual responsibility. Saudi Arabia is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace and a Shining World Leadership for Loving Care Award. Your Excellency Hussain Al-Hazmi, caring divers and volunteers, thank you for helping to clean the beautiful Farasan Islands. In Allah’s uplifting care, may your shining example of responsibility encourage others to be good stewards of our planet.

Scientists make diagnostic advancement in rare heart disease detection.

Researchers from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and Ritsumeikan University in Japan have created a highly detailed 3D video using the latest Micro-Computed Tomography (CT) scanning technology that will help physicians and vets to recognize a rare form of heart defect that both humans and animals may be born with. The condition is called common arterial trunk and can be treated, yet previously veterinarians had no way to diagnose the condition in animals. It also occurs in less than 1 in 10,000 human babies, and once diagnosed, the surgery to correct it is successful 95% of the time. Kindhearted researchers of the University of Manchester and Ritsumeikan University, our appreciation for working tirelessly to help save the lives of animals and humans with your valued work. May your efforts help lead the way towards further progress in heart treatments for all of God’s beings.

Loving caregiver builds his beloved dog a special room.

Johnathan Lower, a realtor from the United States, recently showcased a custom room he built for his Golden Retriever companion Teddy. Mr. Lower purchased a new home for them both, which had a closet where he wanted to construct Teddy’s own living space. He decided, however, the closet was too small, so the devoted craftsman removed a wall to enlarge it. Teddy’s new residence has a beautiful entrance, and inside contains a raised bed, shelves with decorations, and a heater that resembles a cozy wood fire. What a thoughtful idea, Johnathan Lower, to create a beautiful, warm and safe room for beautiful Teddy. May your actions encourage others to pay special attention to the comfort and needs of their sensitive canine companions, as we live in harmony with all animals on this glorious planet.

Coming up, Nestlé releases plant-based versions of its popular drinks in Malaysia. We’ll pause for a moment to be grateful for the Divine gift of confidence and optimism, which allows us to accept every new challenge in life as part of a growing and learning experience. We’ll return with more enriching news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Satisfying News for a Contented World.

Nestlé launches vegan versions of its popular drinks in Malaysia.

Nestlé Malaysia has unveiled animal-free varieties of its popular Milo and Nescafé drinks. The malted chocolate drink Milo is made with almond and soy, rather than the traditional recipe that uses cow’s milk, and the Nescafé latte beverage has two plant-based versions, one with almond and pea, and the other with oat and soy. The new releases come as the company moves towards being carbon neutral by 2050 and seeks to improve the health profile of its food products. Nestlé Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Juan Aranols shared that many people are moving towards the plant-based diet for health reasons, and it has “a lower carbon footprint and more efficient use of water and land.” Way to go, Nestlé Malaysia, on your ongoing shift towards plant-based offerings. In the blessings of Allah, may all food companies soon serve the ever-expanding vegan market.

Spain and Portugal act to restore endangered Iberian lynx population.

In 2002, there were only 94 of these large cats remaining in Spain, and they were declared extinct in Portugal. Through dedicated efforts from both governments, this majestic species has been brought back from the brink of total extinction, and now an estimated 1,000 Iberian lynx are believed to inhabit the Iberian Peninsula. Dr. Rike Bolam, a conservation scientist at Newcastle University, United Kingdom, says the solutions, which included the creation of wildlife corridors and highway tunnels, and encouraging landowners to make their land more habitable for the lynx, can be applied to other species on the brink. Spain is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion. We thank all those involved in the restoration of this important feline species. May we soon live in a vegan world where all beings can live harmoniously in God’s tender embrace.

Get ready for some instant laughter with the joke of the day entitled, “The Abstract Expressionism Exhibition.”

As she was curious, Liz visited an abstract expressionism exhibition. The first painting was a giant black picture with a few light yellow spots. Next was a dark gray painting – purple paint droplets seemed to be accidentally splashed on. Gloomy colored paintings were hung along the corridor. When Liz met the painter, she asked: “Excuse me, I really don’t understand what you painted, could you please explain?”

The painter smiled and said: “I paint what’s going on inside me.”

“Oh, I see. Have you tried going to see a gastroenterologist?”

“?!”

And now we have a heartline from Hope in Iran:

Hallo dear Master and dear Supreme Master TV team, When I saw Master for the first time in my life at the retreat, I thought the way Master was walking looked like Master Baháʼu'lláh. The interesting thing is, I didn’t know much about Master Baháʼu'lláh and the Bahai faith in my life before! I was shocked why I thought so because I don’t have any information about Him! But I remember at that time, I felt so much that I missed Master that my whole body was shaking. Dear Master, whenever I miss You, I look at the Moon and ask him to convey my “Hi” and love to You. You are my love, my family, my everything, and my Master. ♥ I believe the food I eat, the clothes I wear and the air I breathe are because of Master’s Blessings! Thanks for all You’ve done and are doing for us always, and thanks for Supreme Master Television that brightens our hearts with Your infinite love! Love You, dearest Master ♥ Hope from Iran
