Multi-part Series on Ancient Predictions about our Planet: Prophecy of the Golden Age Part 55 - Nam Sa-go’s Prophecy on the King of Heaven

It is said that Nam Sa-go's book of prophecies “Gyeogamyurok,” now 500-years-old, was kept a secret, handed down only within the prophet’s family members. It was only to be revealed in the “last days,” a time of turbulence preceding the Golden Age as mentioned in many ancient religions and cultures. Nearing the mid-20th century, the descendants felt the time was ripe. Thus, the special book became known to the world when it would be the most beneficial – that is, when the Savior was finally coming. The prophet thus called the Savior “the Sage-King of the last days.”

Olga Podorovskaya – Breatharian Light Seeker, Part 4 of 5 (INT)

When I had plenty of experience of my students transitioning to breatharianism, I thought that it would be interesting to investigate the process for animals. I was convinced that my understanding of breatharianism is correct, that it works. It works not only for people, but works on animals; it is universal. When there is enlightenment, then all life becomes meditation, or all life becomes constant self-examination, self-observation, and self-awareness. Therefore, when I conduct courses on the realization of immortality, I divide it into several courses. And I suggest that people start with enlightenment.

Buddhist Stories: The Nun Wonderful, Part 3 of 5 Sep. 04, 2015

I don’t know what kind of terrible deeds I have done in the former life that in this lifetime, I had to encounter so many disasters, pain, sorrow and suffering thus. And I observed that probably hundreds, thousands, or millions of other same female sex like me, also married, and I think this is all like a yoke, on the female’s life. Like imprisonment. It’s only slavery, making your life more and more ignorant and suffering, because we don’t know a better life. We don’t recognize a more noble way of life, a better path to go. We do not know how to step up onto the true path to liberation, and the true path to know the reality, another, higher than this physical life.

The Practice of the Presence of God: The Best Rule of Holy Life - Selection of Brother Lawrence’s Letters, Part 2 of 2

The Practice of the Presence of God: The Best Rule of Holy Life - Selection of Brother Lawrence’s Letters, Part 2 of 2

If we were well accustomed to the exercise of the presence of GOD, all bodily diseases would be much alleviated thereby. GOD often permits that we should suffer a little, to purify our souls, and oblige us to continue with Him. Take courage, offer Him your pains incessantly, pray to Him for strength to endure them. Above all, get a habit of entertaining yourself often with GOD, and forget Him the least you can. Adore Him in your infirmities, offer yourself to Him from time to time; and, in the height of your sufferings, beseech Him humbly and affectionately (as a child his father) to make you conformable to His holy will.

We are privileged to have Dr. William Glatt, an esteemed internal and addiction medicine specialist, share with us his expert knowledge on opioids, pain treatment, and the nature of drug addiction. Opioids are morphine-like chemicals primarily used as analgesics to relieve severe pain. However, employing opioids for pain management has its inherent risks. Pain management need not be drug-based as there are many options available. Nowadays, more people are using meditation for pain issues. Inner contemplation is also another way to prevent, control, or resolve certain long-term conditions.

Buddhist Stories: The Nun Wonderful, Part 2 of 5 Sep. 04, 2015

She wants us to be life after life transmigrated in a lowly level of consciousness and getting nowhere in spiritual elevation or enlightenment. I think we, all of us, should go to another bhiksuni, another nun, another high priestess. Her name is Vi Diệu, So the Bhiksuni Wonderful said to them, “So anything that has form and life, it is born out of sensual desire and sensual pleasure. Sexual desire is comparable to a big fire that is always burning within beings. And this fire is so violent, it could even burn away forests and trees and grasses and even stones, and even the whole immense universe.” “Anyone who has been captured tightly within this sexual desire, it is as if the enemies are already in your house. They are going to destroy your house, destroy your life. And this person, if indulging and following that desire will definitely be, not will be born but will be exiled into the three wicked ways, wicked paths.”

The Practice of the Presence of God: The Best Rule of Holy Life - Selection of Brother Lawrence’s Letters, Part 1 of 2

After experiencing the horrors of war and returning to civilian life, he claimed to have had an inner experience with which began his spiritual journey. He decided to devote his life to God, and at the age of 26, entered the Discalced Carmelite Priory in Paris, where he took his religious name, Lawrence of the Resurrection. Brother Lawrence gradually became known for his profound spiritual wisdom, peaceful demeanor, and close connection with God. Some of the conversations and letters by Brother Lawrence became the basis of a book, “The Practice of the Presence of God,” which was compiled by the notable cleric Abbe Joseph de Beaufort after his passing.

The Moon’s Fascinating Effects on the Animals

00:10:43

The Moon’s Fascinating Effects on the Animals

Some theorists have proposed that the moon is one of the external cues that adjust the circadian rhythms within all living things. Throughout a 24-hour cycle, these rhythms can cause physical, mental, and behavioral variations. It’s logical that the moon affects us animals because in many cases our senses are more developed than humans, plus we don’t have a lot of thoughts getting in the way of our intuition. Especially for animals who are nocturnal, more moonlight means more activity.

Selection from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Essay “Self-Reliance”

00:15:07

Selection from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Essay “Self-Reliance”

In which the renowned philosopher encourages us to follow our own true self by sticking to our own inner voice and by being honest and sincere in our relationships with others. We create self-reliance — the essence of both faith and optimism. What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think. This rule, equally arduous in actual and in intellectual life, may serve for the whole distinction between greatness and meanness. It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinion; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.

A Lively Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration, Part 3 of 3

Next is the performance from China, which presents a song titled “Watching the Moon.” The song’s melody is smooth, the lyrics are warm, the meaning is profound. The song expresses the deep feelings, boundless praises and love towards our Master. “When I am looking at the moon, I am always thinking of You. When I am looking at You, I am thinking about the moon. In this world, the most beautiful is the moon. But the one that’s more beautiful than the moon is You. In the days without You, I often watch the moon. The pure and bright moonlight is like Your face.”

Alejandro Ayala Polanco - Cultivating a Vegan Consciousness, Part 2 of 2

A major development for Alejandro regarding the spread of the vegan massage is that the visual materials created by Alejandro through HomoVegetus were chosen and incorporated into school textbooks. Very impressive, aren’t they? There was an especially rewarding experience for Alejandro, that occurred during a rural school visit, when a school girl came up to thank Alejandro for revealing to her the existence of an alternative vegan lifestyle, which would otherwise have been impossible if not for the creation of those illustrative materials in the textbooks.

The Great Benefit of Having Retreats, Part 2 of 2 April 10, 2019

You contributed during your retreat 6.1% together. Then it’s not bad already. Better than nothing. But I am grateful. 6.1%, that is multiplying to 731 million, for example. You know, this is a lot. It’s a lot of souls. Otherwise, they would have been still laying in the hell or somewhere else. Very good. So, retreat is good. They thank you also. They always appear and thank me after I do retreat or something intensive, or sometimes, when they are liberated somehow in connection with me. Finally, helping them to go up and be totally free, not just go to somewhere on the Fourth Level, Fifth Level, and stay there. But go up to Tim Qo Tu Land.
