Follow You, Part 4 of 4, Mar. 7, 2005

Before, my life was different. I had a big center, everybody came all the time, no problem. Always welcome! Low-level, high-level, no-level, zero-level, OK! But because of that, I had problems. Big karma, big problem. And now, I can’t… Even if I want to take them, I can’t. We don’t have a place! But if I have a place, I would let you come; I would invite you. No big deal! You don’t eat much, you don’t make trouble, you are good kids. You just sit there and mind your own business, right? I could have you any time. You are my type. If you just eat and have simple clothes, it’s no problem, all of you. No big deal. I really love you so much. I really wish that life is so easy and peaceful and we can just stay together, anybody! Young, old, talented or not. We don’t need any talent! We don’t need any skill, really! No problem. It’s very easy. I love that life very much. I like to be independent and creative. Make a house, a dwelling place, out of nothing! I like that! I don’t really like big houses, something like this. But in this weather, we are thankful that we have some walls and a roof, no? Or else, where do you sit? It’s too cold and damp. So that’s the problem.

Prophecy of the Golden Age Part 91 - Lord Kalki Avatar (vegetarian) and the New Satya Yuga

00:24:37

Prophecy of the Golden Age Part 91 - Lord Kalki Avatar (vegetarian) and the New Satya Yuga

Lord Kalki said:“My mission will be to eliminate the wicked Kali, with the help of My four brothers. O demigods, your expansions should also take birth on the earth to assist Me in My mission.” Similar to Lord Kalki’s four brother helpers, Supreme Master Ching Hai once revealed that She has four pillars of peace – saintly individuals who have been assisting in Her mission, even by sacrificing their lives, to bring the world closer to the Golden Age. “There are four people who sacrificed for peace, to help me out. To help the planet, actually. Like, if you want to succeed in some battle, taking down some of the citadels, then it’s better to have some insiders and outsiders, both together working. “At that time (when Kali Yuga ends), the Supreme Personality of Godhead will appear on the earth. Acting with the power of pure spiritual goodness, He will defend the Dharma (True teaching) and rescue the eternal Religion.” Here, the “eternal Religion,” Sanatana Dharma, refers to the way of spiritual life toward liberation. As we read a little further in this Bhagavata Purana, we find a description of the “transcendental knowledge” that the Kalki Avatar inherits when He came to Earth. Along with moral precepts, those teachings include meditation on the inner Heavenly Sound current, which is exactly what Supreme Master Ching Hai teaches. “[The sage] Suta Gosvami said: O brahmana, first the subtle VIBRATION OF TRANSCENDENTAL SOUND appeared from the sky of the heart of the most elevated Lord Brahma, whose mind was perfectly fixed in spiritual realization. One can perceive this subtle vibration when one stops all external hearing. By worship of this subtle form of the Vedas (Knowledge), O brahmana, mystic sages cleanse their hearts of all contamination caused by impurity of substance, activity and doer, and thus they attain freedom from repeated birth and death.”

Venerated Prophet Mani (vegan): The Messenger of Light, Part 1 of 2

Since ancient times, numerous Masters have graced our precious planet with their divine presence and have helped to uplift humanity’s spirit and level of consciousness. These Master courageously share their wisdom with the world through their holy teachings and continue to touch the lives of countless beings through their kindness and compassion. One such venerated Master was Prophet Mani, the founder of Manichaeism. Prophet Mani, known as the Messenger of Light, was a Persian Saint and preacher who founded the Manichaean religion in the third century AD. His teachings were primarily a culmination of Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, and Christianity. Prophet Mani was revered for revealing heavenly knowledge, modeling righteous behavior, practicing compassionate philanthropy, and having psychic abilities such as supernatural healing powers, clairvoyance, and levitation. The venerated Prophet Mani was born around 216 AD in Babylon, Mesopotamia, now modern-day Iraq. Prophet Mani heeded this call, and at the age of 25 years, He began preaching the Truth. His teachings would be called Manichaeism, and focused on dualistic cosmology. The Saint believed that God had created an immaculate world of light and spirit. Prophet Mani called himself an Apostle of Lord Jesus Christ who was here to teach the true message of Christianity. Prophet Mani was indeed a Messenger of Light, dedicated and determined to help liberate humanity.

Fruity Tutti Sorbet and Mint Soya Sorbet

Fruity Tutti Sorbet and Mint Soya Sorbet

Hi, everyone! It's summer. We're going to make somthing nice for summer. Here’s apple and banana, orange, some grapes, kiwi, melon, and watermelon. So, I’m going to cut them into very small pieces. You can put them in a blender; it’s quicker also. And if you don’t have a blender, you chop them as fine as you want, and then you can deep freeze them, and after two hours or so, you can take them out and eat as sorbet already, chunky sorbet. You make whatever sorbet you like, according to what fruit's available. Actually, most of the fruit, you can make sorbet. They will all taste nice. We’re going to make a little special sorbet without fruit. You put like one cup or one mug of soya milk, into the blender, three tablespoons of brown sugar. Not more. And then a handful of peppermint already washed in salty water. Now slow and quick, just a couple of seconds. That’s enough. You don’t want to liquefy the peppermint. It will taste better if it has chunks of peppermint in it. And then, you pour it into any cup or container, or mold that you like and put it in the fridge also. We are waiting for two hours. So this is the summer feast that I have prepared. By the way, even the fruit, you should wash them in salty water to clean away all the bad elements - toxin, or maybe insecticide, anything that could be harmful to your health. Whether you eat it raw or you will cook them, you should always soak them 3-5 minutes first in salty water. And then rinse them with clean water for 2-3 times.

Follow You, Part 3 of 4, Mar. 7, 2005

Whoever wants to run around and has a chance. (I would also follow You, Master, because I am single, and I would like to follow You everywhere.) Why? (Because I love You.) Oh, thanks! That's a nice answer. I love you too. (Master, I would just love to serve God.) You are very nice. We can think about that. It's always the same. I don't really need anything. Because of you, I need you. Otherwise, there's nothing much really that I need, do I? Suppose you are not here, what do I need you for? But thanks. Thanks anyway. You are very kind to want to help. Because my life is always like a whirlwind. There's always an emergency, especially lately, because the whole universe is changing so fast. So, suppose, even if I take you with me, I don't know how to manage. Just space problem! Otherwise, the heart is big. But if I am free, I will see about it, OK? And not all of you can. Even then, not all of you can go, because sometimes the affinity is different. The maya tied all already, everywhere already. Everywhere, everybody's kind of tied up a little bit. A little bit. Some are bigger, and some smaller, but a little tied up somewhere. But never mind, write all your names down. Who knows? "...with you, my love, I'd like to go! Thither, thither!"

Holy Laws on Protecting the Animals - Selection from “In Front of the Blind" by Jewish Scholar Asa Keisar (vegan), Part 1 of 2

Holy Laws on Protecting the Animals - Selection from “In Front of the Blind" by Jewish Scholar Asa Keisar (vegan), Part 1 of 2

Today, we’ll learn more from Mr. Keisar’s book “In Front of the Blind,” or “Velifnei Iver Hashalem.” “Rabbi Avraham Saba: ‘Based on the complete and whole view, kindness of God who is good to all of His creations; a person should realize that the purpose of the milk from an animal mother’s breast is to nourish her baby and not for the individual to do as they please.’” “Maimonides states, ‘There is no distinction between anguish experienced by a human and anguish experienced by animals; this is because the love and yearning of a mother for its offspring is not dependent upon intelligence, rather it is the inherent nature found in most creatures as it is found in man.’” “Harav Yitzchak Habanstreit: ‘One should know, aside for the fact that it is inappropriate for man to eat meat with regard to tradition, ethics, religion and wisdom; it is also unnatural because man is unfit to eat meat as is proven by the analysis of a person’s organs.’” “But this is not the case with the natural tendency towards vegetables and fruit of the tree and the like. These produce strong natural feelings and call to us in a loving way: ‘Wondrous to behold and good to eat.’ A great desire awakens in their midst to taste the fruits and eat their fresh as they were created. Is this not enough proof that these are the natural foods for a person?”

Circular Fashion Technologies: Sustainable Future Clothing, Part 1 of 2

Circular Fashion Technologies: Sustainable Future Clothing, Part 1 of 2

A lot of what is produced globally in terms of clothing will not end up being recycled. That means a massive amount of fabric waste goes to landfills every years, polluting our soils and oceans. In order to tackle this issue, companies and start-ups have been working hard to offer technological solutions for a circular approach to fashion. Ryan Mario Yasin, Arabella Turek, Fanny Lefebvre-Nare, and Alicia Martinez-Rodriguez from UK-based Petit Pli have come up with an ingenious idea by combining Japanese origami folding techniques with space engineering. “Clothes That Grow” can accompany the growing size of a baby from 9 months up to 4 years of age. Apart from that, the outfits produced by this wearable technology company are windproof and waterproof, and all are made from recycled fabrics. German-based Circular. Fashion has invented a way to tag a circular identification, or circularity. ID on any piece of garment, making it easier for customers to trace the whole life cycle of their products. We give heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful tech innovators for making the fashion industry circular and eco-friendly for the benefit of all beings on this precious, life-giving planet.

Healing through Playing with Art: Art Therapist Joan Stanford (vegan), Part 2 of 3

Healing through Playing with Art: Art Therapist Joan Stanford (vegan), Part 2 of 3

Today, we will continue to introduce her (Joan) publication and explore other beneficial aspects of art therapy. “The book came out of wanting to let other busy people know that this is something they could do and add to any spiritual practice they have or anything really. So it’s letting people re-own that they have this creative spirit and re-own that child that desperately wants to play and enjoy life, rather than kind of see it as a drudgery.” “Because it opened up such a world for me and changed my attitude towards my own life, I wanted to invite other people, other busy people that would never consider playing with art materials, playing period, really. So that’s why I came up with the idea of offering playshops. I want to keep it light, but it’s always therapeutic when you do something and have fun.” “Imagery is evocative. So, if you ask someone to do something with imagery, it’s pulling from that inner self and to me that’s how it connects to being more aware of your own projections, prejudices, and misconceptions. It clarifies how you see the world. You get more in touch with it. Everybody that has any kind of sense of spirituality, you understand the mind, body and all of that, but it really makes it real; it really makes it real.”

I like gardening very much. I like farming very much. One of the best jobs in the world is a farmer. Your farm has a house? (Yes, yes, it's quite big, this house. I have a special way of planting.) Organic. (Yes, so there are people coming from schools or universities. So, I invented some kind of method without machinery, and without plowing, without turning the soil.) Oh, really? But it's a pity if you close your farm, no? Continue your job. It's good. Next! Who's free to run around? (Hi, Master.) Hi! (It's my dream since my childhood to follow a Master. And my first touch with the spiritual groups was Yogananda's group... especially the part with Babaji and his group.) Babaji was one of the disciples of one of my Councils. And He attained 120 degree enlightenment instead of 100. Like Fifth Level. And He now resides in the Astral region. So, He can materialize any time into the physical body, any time, and He can stay as long as He wants, because He is in charge of taking care of the Astral and the physical region right now. His whole group is in the Astral! He can live in both worlds because He's in the special mission. He had been helping me before also, invisibly and also physically. Now, I promoted Him, chief, chief of the group, of this working group. (We have the chance to be Your disciple and be with You together. This is so great!) Good for you.

Holy Laws on Protecting the Animals - Selection from “In Front of the Blind" by Jewish Scholar Asa Keisar (vegan), Part 1 of 2

The respected Asa Keisar is an Israeli religious scholar who’s on a mission of spreading veganism all across Israel and the world. Asa Keisar is a frequent lecture in universities, elementary and high schools, and yeshivot (Jewish educational religious institutions) throughout Israel. His speeches feature statements from the Holy Torah about the incorrectness of consuming animal products, especially in our modern world. Mr. Keisar is also the author of an important Jewish guide, “In Front of the Blind,” or “Velifnei Iver Hashalem.” Through straightforward holy laws, the selection clearly shows how humans must treat all animals, namely with care and mercy. “One must also have mercy upon animals because it is forbidden to cause undue pain or anguish to an animal. The attribute of mercy is the sign of the children of Abraham, the seed of Israel. As it is written, ‘He will give you mercy, be merciful and multiply you.’” “Rabbi Joseph Albo: ‘The consumption of flesh from living creatures gives birth to spiritual corpulence, murkiness and inflexibility of the soul...’” “Metzudat David: ‘The righteous person pays attention even to the needs of their animal to fulfill its craving - because God greatly values mercy.’”

Telling "We Animals" Stories: Interview with Jo-Anne McArthur (vegan), Part 2 of 4

Telling "We Animals" Stories: Interview with Jo-Anne McArthur (vegan), Part 2 of 4

“Then, there is a whole other category: the invisible animals, who we have a very close relationship with, and yet we fail to see them in our lives. We think of them as ‘our ribs’ or ‘wings,’ instead of the animal that they are. Or we think of them as a ‘fur trim’ instead of a fox or mink. These animals are completely invisible, and we use and abuse them worldwide every single day. And they aren’t represented anywhere; they’re invisible, we don’t see them in the media. And so, that became my mission: To illuminate the lives of these animals.” In 2013, Jo-Anne McArthur published her first book, “We Animals,” which was followed in 2017 by her second book entitled “Captive.” She has been awarded a range of commendations for her photography and activism, including the 2018 Wildlife Photographer of the Year, People’s Choice award. “For me, it was important to make a book specifically of this animal work to give it historical weight and significance, and not just to put the work out on social media.” “So, what we do with the images – and it’s not just me now, it’s several of us photographers and filmmakers – we put everything on the We Animals Archive. I think it’s the best thing we’ve ever done. There are about 12,000 video clips and photos of all sorts of industries in almost over 60 countries now, of our use and abuse, and sharing of space with animals. And the images are searchable by key word. And you get the high-res images for free. And again: it’s free.”

“When you go to the highest Fifth, like 140 - instead of 100 percent, 140 percent, then you don't fall. She's still a Buddha. Middle, middle. Be careful! Don't drink poison! No poison! No taking presents, no taking praises. Accept it, but credit it to God. That's the best. Because, there is something higher than you.” “Did you watch the film called ‘Bubble?’ (‘Bubble Boy’) About the kid who grows up inside the bubble, the big bubble, like a room. Because when he was young, he had some kind of disease... So his mother kept him in the bubble to protect him from infection. But as he grew up, he didn't need that anymore, but his mother still liked to keep him in there, like possessive, like the maya. Same in this world, the maya keeps us in the bubble of this world, and gives us everything. Gives us all kind of ... anything you want! Luxury and food and beautiful flowers, good scenery, beautiful women, handsome men, luxury cars, glittery gold, diamonds, all kinds of nonsense. But the moment you want to have enlightenment and freedom, you'll have trouble.” “What a happy family. (Yes!) I wish I could take you all, everywhere I go and feed you. Whoever has time to run around forever, raise hand. Tell me one by one. How do you have time to run around?”

On Love: from Socrates’ Dialogue with Diotima of Mantinea in “Symposium” by Plato (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

On Love: from Socrates’ Dialogue with Diotima of Mantinea in “Symposium” by Plato (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

The following lines are from Plato's work "Symposium," where Socrates recalls some of Diotima's accounts of Love. "Not even in the life, of the same individual there is succession and not absolute unity. Which is true not only of the body, but also of the soul, whose habits, tempers, opinions, desires, pleasures, pains, fears, never remain the same in anyone of us, but are always coming and going; and equally true of knowledge, and what is still more surprising to us mortals, not only do the sciences in general spring up and decay, so that in respect of them we are never the same; but each of them individually experiences a like change. For what is implied in the word ‘recollection,’ but the departure of knowledge, which is ever being forgotten, and is renewed and preserved by recollection, and appears to be the same although in reality new, according to that law of succession by which all mortal things are preserved, not absolutely the same, but by substitution, the old worn-out mortality leaving another new and similar existence behind unlike the divine, which is always the same and not another? " "But souls which are pregnant - for there certainly are men who are more creative in their souls than in their bodies, conceive that which is proper for the soul to conceive or contain. And what are these conceptions? - wisdom and virtue in general. And such creators are poets and all artists who are deserving of the name inventor. But the greatest and fairest sort of wisdom by far is that which is concerned with the ordering of states and families, and which is called temperance and justice."
