Taking Care of the Homeless As Our Family, Part 2 of 4, Mar. 10, 2019

Taking Care of the Homeless As Our Family, Part 2 of 4, Mar. 10, 2019

They are renunciates with the ideal of putting everything down. We should respect that, respect their persistence and will power. You have to be strong to be able to renounce. They want to leave everything behind and be liberated from birth and death. So, you have to respect them. You have to help them to maintain their pure magnetic field. The karma of seducing a monk or a nun is very heavy. If you see some monks or nuns, and they need help, make offerings to them. And some homeless people; some of them are also renunciates. They prefer not to stay in the temple or to have anything to do with anyone, that's why they became street people. There are at least …at least ten or more of them; nineteen of them.

Taking Care of the Homeless As Our Family, Part 1 of 4, Mar. 10, 2019

The true renunciates, who really listen to Buddha’s teachings and precepts, they can be liberated beyond the Three Worlds, not necessarily to the Fifth Level. And when you eat, you should make offering to all the Masters. Three timelines of Masters, from the past, present and future. If you don’t make offerings before eating, you would owe the world a lot. It’s OK to eat if you have made the offering. But this only applies to the vegans. It’s no use for the meat-eating people to make offerings before eating, because enlightened Masters do not eat meat. So, it’s useless to make such offerings to them.

The Story of Creation, Part 4 of 4 Feb. 26, 2005

You will feel absolutely blissful, I promise! Even now, sometimes you sit in meditation, you have just a moment’s glimpse of the World that you have attained, even Third World, you feel, “Oh, so good!” You don’t want to get out of it already. Not to talk about the Fifth Level: Your soul is enjoying immensely, vastly, hugely, never even thinking of any other God beyond that. You’ll feel complete. You’ll feel like you are God! You will feel that way. And that is what it means by being “one with God.”

At this time, even people who don’t practice Quan Yin Method, they all go to the Third Level or Fourth Level even, accordingly. I told you already, no? Even the sinners, the ones who don’t even practice, and are very bad, also. Not too bad, but bad, and then, even then, they can go to the Third Level already, because they have been cleansed. Through disaster or war or tragedy, they have been cleansed. So, I can take them up. They have been cleansed, but if nobody takes them up, then they’ll just stay there.

Nothing that’s opposite or different can stay long together. Cannot bear the energy up there! Nobody will be able to pass through the border and stay alive, I mean, stay individual. You will burst into nothingness again. Your soul will be disintegrated, be gone, become dust, the moment you pass the border of the Sixth Level only. But you are lucky! You got the Gift from the Seventh Level! Who would have that? So in a way, even you could not get there, but you got the Gift - you are connected!

So most people who worship God, that is Brahma, the Third World. Nevertheless, he is great! When you get to the Third World, you are free already. Because that is the origin of all these gross levels. The origin of all, the most from God. So he creates, creates. He creates only up to the Astral Level. Astral! Because from the Brahma to the Astral, it is still fine. You don’t have this physical body. And then the Astral wants to create the physical! You know that, huh? Because he is also itchy, itchy there: “I have the power! I have the power!”

The Surangama Sutra: The Demonic States of the Feeling Skandhas (Continued)-Questions and Answers, Part 7 of 7, Dec. 27, 2018

That’s why Maya tried to even disrupt me in one of those first days of my first retreat ever since, in Taiwan (Formosa). Suddenly the Supreme Master TV was just blocked out and just noise, just “hooong” like that. Because he does it so discretely, I asked Heaven, “What is that? Who dares to do that?” He said, “Maya.” I said, “Why does he do that?” And They said, “Because You and the Supreme Master TV form the ring of protection everywhere. He tried to scare You out of it.”

I mean, not just this lousy world, like the Maya made, was all you got. Zillion times more glorious, and comfortable and you lack nothing, and you desire nothing; you just feel happy. And then from there, you can even bless the world because you’re more powerful. Not just we enjoy, but we can bless the world. And we can come back here if we want. But full of equipment inside, to protect yourself, not to fall again, and to help whoever you think you owe a debt last life, or who helped you sincerely.

If not for God’s grace or the Buddha’s mercy, how can anybody ever make it? Look at that, so much meditation, one stage after another, and still in the Maya trap. And could even go to hell for that. Who can even support this system? But the way the world people behave, they are supporting it. They support alcoholism; they support torturing the animals. They support all the bad things. That means they support Maya. Because Maya’s making all this to seduce people, to entrap beings into the vicious circle of life and death, and punishment, torture, or hell, all that.

Doubts and doubts are different. You are doubting whether or not I teach you the right thing or not, whether or not you follow the right person, because you sincerely want to really find the Master, find the Way to be liberated. That is different. The spiritual doubt is always welcome, it’s very healthy. It is your birthright, and you must doubt. You must doubt until you really, completely prove it, that what you are doing, the path you are following is correct for you, because you have only this chance.

“This state is called 'when an agreeable state of Samadhi enters one’s mind, lacking the wisdom to control oneself and mistakenly engaging in lustful behavior.'” You are already so high here, see all the skandhas dissolve, everything is illusion, knowing this is nothing, and still fall into this emptiness and desire stuff, and doing wrong things, and leading hundreds of thousands or millions into wrong things. And slander the virtuous and moral people. That is the worst thing that you could do. That will earn you hell for a long time. I wish, I hope the Buddha will be merciful and save those people who are misled, at least.

If we are not satisfied with that, then we go further; but if we think we are great already, then we stop. That is the problem. It’s a pity. “For the most part, such cultivators will become like the Unlearned Bhiksu,” monk, unlearned monk. “He will mislead living beings, so that they will fall into the Avichi Hell.” Oh, this is worse. “Lacking proper samadhi, he will certainly fall.” My God! Maya is so cruel. That is the problem. If you really want to become a Buddha, he will be so harsh on you. That is the thing. That’s why.

But the person who reached this state of extreme self-satisfaction, he thinks he is above everything. But this is just one state, which is called “viewing oneself as supreme, but lacking wisdom to save oneself” even. You can’t even save yourself, not to talk about going out and saving other souls. This is terrible. Then you’re falling. If he knows it, then it’s OK. But if he doesn’t know, then he will fall. The demons and all that will come. “Those who have deep faith in him will follow him to destroy the images or bury them. He will mislead living beings, so that they fall into the Relentless Hells.”

“In the future, there may be people whose food and clothing are insufficient, who find their efforts thwarted, who endure much sickness or misfortune, whose families are not peaceful, whose relatives are scattered, who are accident-prone, or who are often startled in their sleep by bad dreams. Upon hearing Earth Store Bodhisattva’s name and seeing His image, such people should recite His name a full 10,000 times with extreme sincerity and respect. Those inauspicious circumstances will gradually disappear, and they will gain peace and happiness. Their food and clothing will be abundant and even in their dreams they will have peace and happiness.”

A Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Contemplator of the World's Sounds arose from his seat. And in the assembly knelt on both knees and with palms together said to the Buddha, “World Honored One, Earth Store Bodhisattva Mahasattva is replete with great compassion and pities beings who are suffering for their offenses. In thousands of millions of worlds, He creates thousands of millions of transformation bodies through the strength of His meritorious virtues and inconceivable awesome spiritual strength. I have heard the World Honored One and the numberless Buddhas of the Ten Directions praise the Earth Store Bodhisattva, unanimously agreeing that even if all the Buddhas of the past, present and the future were to speak of His meritorious qualities, they could never finish describing them.”

He further said to the Buddha, “World Honored one, good men or good women in the future may keep this sutra and an image of the Bodhisattva where they live. Further, they may recite the sutra and make offerings to the Bodhisattva. For those who do that, I shall constantly use my own spiritual powers to guard and protect them day and night, so that nothing bad happens to them including floods, fire, robbery and theft, major disasters and minor accidents.” If they have the Bodhisattva image in their home, the Earth Spirit will protect that home.

In the future, good men or good women may plant good roots in the Buddha Dharma by giving, making offerings, repairing stupas or monasteries, rebinding sutras or doing other good deeds amounting to no more than a strand of hair, a mote of dust, a grain of sand or a drop of water. Merely by transferring the merit from such deeds to Dharma Realm, those people’s meritorious virtues will enable them to enjoy superior and wonderful bliss for hundreds of thousands of lives. If they dedicate the merit only to their immediate or extended family, or to their own personal benefit, then the rewards received will be only three lives of happiness. By giving up one, a 10,000 reward is obtained.

Buddha always praised the merit of offering to the Buddhas, and the monks, and the nuns. You must give wherever you see, wherever needed. Give, give, give, give and give. Everything you can give. You just become Buddha, then you have blessings. You can bless all people, any people you want. That's the best thing you can do for people. All of you who do, helping people unconditionally, you're doing fine. Don't ask for Heaven's blessing or earthly reward. Dedicate whatever merit you have to your Buddhahood, future Buddhahood.

“Offenses warranting five-fold uninterrupted retribution are so extremely heavy that those who commit them should not escape retribution for thousands of eons. But if, however, at the time of such offender’s death, someone recites the names of the Buddhas on their behalf, then their offenses can gradually be dissolved. How much more will that be the case of beings who recited those names themselves? The merit they attain will be limitless and will eradicate measureless offenses.” So being vulnerable and all that, since they’re helpless. And if you love them, meaning your love is true love, unconditional, you want no merit even. Unconditional love brings great merit.

If Thus Come One is making too much trouble for you to remember, just say Boundless Body Buddha. “If man or woman hears,” this is long, long time ago. This Buddha is long, long past already. Asamkhyeya eons ago already means countless, countless of Earth time. You cannot even measure how long ago. He already passed away. Even then, if any man or woman heard His name now, at the Buddha’s time, that means just 2,000 years, some years ago, almost 3,000 years, right? “… and have a momentary thought of respect, those people will overstep the heavy offenses involved in birth and death for 40 eons. How much more will that be the case for those who sculpt or paint this Buddha’s image?”
