Meditation is the Source of Love, Questions and Answers, Part 3 of 3, April 20, 1991

In Breakthrough Sermon, Bodhidharma said,” If you see the Buddha Light for just one split second, all your karma of past lives would be eliminated!” It’s the same when we get initiation. At the time of initiation, you see the Light and hear the Sound straight away. You are taught from inside. That’s why your karma of past lives could be eliminated immediately, and you would be liberated in one lifetime. That’s how you get immediate enlightenment.

Learning to be Buddha One Will Become a Buddha, Questions and Answers, Part 3 of 4, Oct 21, 1989

When the Buddha was alive, not every one belived that He was Buddha. Only the Buddhas can understand a Buddha. But whether gradual or immediate enlightenment, both need to rely on the precepts. Loving others is like loving ourselves; hating others is like giving them fertilizer. It is best that you search for the Buddha inside your heart. Because this is a temple. The Guan Yin Method teaches you how to care for the soul;clears your mind;come and go as you want, clearly and openly. So you practice spiritually because you want to regain your gentlemanly manner, not letting the devils do whatever they want. My job is to take care of the dead. Take you to a beautiful world.

The Key to Theosophy: Theosophical Teachings as to Nature and Man, Part 2 of 2

The Key to Theosophy: Theosophical Teachings as to Nature and Man, Part 2 of 2

Theosophical doctrine shows man a quintile just after death, in Kamaloka; and a threefold Ego, Spirit-Soul, and consciousness in Devachan. This separation, first in “the Meadows of Hades,” then in Devachan, was part and parcel of the performances during the sacred Mysteries, when the candidates for initiation enacted for the whole drama of death, and the resurrection as a glorified spirit. What is Devachan? The “land of gods” literally; a condition, a state of mental bliss. Philosophically a mental condition analogous to, but far more vivid and real than, the most vivid dream. It is the state after death of most mortals.

Lord Krishna - God of Compassion and Love: An Interview with Reverend Hindu Priest Deepak Subedi, Part 1 of 2

Lord Krishna - God of Compassion and Love: An Interview with Reverend Hindu Priest Deepak Subedi, Part 1 of 2

The first thing in the teachings of Lord Krishna or the message of the Lord Krishna, the teaching which he has delivered to us is actually the teachings of self-realization. Self-realization is so blissful. Only after attaining the self-realization we start to realize the true significance of our life. We also have a soul within us, or the wisdom, which is non-perishable. And it never changes. When we attain self-realization, then you can raise yourself above from the physical attachments, you get free from the effects of the three virtues and conceptions about good and bad. Then you don’t identify yourself with those virtues anymore and become free from its effects.

The Tradition and Current Practices of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis: An Interview with Dr. Hugh McCague, Part 1 of 2

The symbol of the Rosicrucians is that of a rosy cross, where the cross represents the human body, while the rose represents the individual’s unfolding consciousness. For the Rosicrucians who is referred to a Rose Croix was an enlightened Master, a enlightened being. There are various teachings of the Rosicrucian Order that are private in their nature; however they can be mentioned to people they seem ready and prepared for, and many of these things are known through other spiritual traditions, but the person has to be ready for them to appreciate them.

From Buddhism’s Sacred Scripture: The Sutra of the Lotus of the Wonderful Dharma, Chapter 2, Part 2 of 4

Shakyamuni Budda provided a method for other sentient beings to be freed from the cycle of death and rebirth. In chapter two of The Lotus Sutra, The Buddha once said to Shariputra, “A wonderful Dharma (true teaching) such as this is preached by the Buddhas, the Tathagatas, at certain times. But like the blooming of udumbara (a blue lotus that blooms once every 3000 years), such times come very seldom. Shariputra, you and the others must believe me. Be assiduous, practiced meditation and wisdom, and so forth.”

From Zoroastrianism’s Sacred Menog-i Khrad: Chapters 4-13, Part 2 of 2

The sage asked the spirit of wisdom thus:‘Is it possible to go from region to region [karshwar], or not? From what substance is the sky made? And how and in what manner is the mingling of the water in the earth?’The spirit of wisdom answered thus:‘Without the permission of the sacred beings, or the permission of the demons, it is then not possible for one to go from region to region.’‘The sky is made from the substance of the blood-stone, such as they also call diamond(almast).’ ‘And the mingling of the water in the earth is just like the blood in the body of man.’

From The Holy Bible: The Book of Proverbs - Excerpts from Proverbs 20-24, Part 2 of 2

Jesus Christ: prophet, carpenter, mystic, Son of God, savior and friend; He is known by many names. This beloved Teacher and Master, Jesus taught God's love and forgiveness to all people with open hearts. Jesus could discuss the scriptures with the erudite and learned. Jesus is especially loved and remembered because of His sacrifice. Three days after His crucifixion, He arose in glory and triumph to Heaven, witnessed by some of His disciples. Let us now allow the loving wisdom of these proverbs shine through our inner being.

Selection from the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment: Chapter 2, Part 2 of 2

Today we would like to share with you the wisdom of Tsongkhapa - having relied upon an excellent protector, solidify your certainty about the way that all the scriptures are causal factors for one person to become a Buddha. There are those who conclude that any classic text should be considered only an explanatory teaching, therefore lacking the key points for practice. They hold that there are separate personal instructions that teach the core meanings that are the heart of practice. They then imagine that there are two separate forms. Know that this attitude precludes the development of great respect for the stainless sutras and tantras as well as the flawless treatises that comment on their intent.

Mozi or Mo Tzu was a Chinese philosopher who lived around 460 to 391 BC. He was a pacifist who traveled from one region to another to try to convince rulers away from their plans of conquest. Mo Tzu’s teachings encompass self-reflection to attain true self knowledge, universal love and enlightened self- interest in social relations. He advocated self-restraint, in which a person would indulge in neither material nor spiritual extravagance. His philosophy encompassed the concept that one must do actions which brought the most benefit for general welfare of all.

From the Secret Doctrine: Cosmogenesis – Cyclic Evolution and Karm, Part 1 of 2

The Secret Doctrine has been acknowledged by many as one of the most remarkable books in the world. It is considered to be the Bible of Theosophy, a sourcebook of the esoteric tradition that outlines the fundamental tenets of the secret doctrine of the past ages. “The Secret Doctrine” explains the origin and evolution of the universe and of humanity through an account of “Root Races” dating back millions of years. The writer Madame Blavatsky often expressed that she was only the compiler of ancient wisdom that was passed on to her. The true authors of the work were her teachers, the Mahatmas, or Great Souls, who were the guardians of the Secret Wisdom of the ages.

Selection from Sacred Text of Ancient Hinduism: Upanishads , Part 1 of 2

00:20:07

Selection from Sacred Text of Ancient Hinduism: Upanishads , Part 1 of 2

Hinduism is believed to be one of the oldest living religions on Earth, with origins tracing back to the ancient Vedic civilization in India. Of all Vedic literature, the Upanishads alone are widely known, and their central ideas are at the spiritual core of Hinduism. The teachings were imparted in the form of dialogue between teacher and disciple. These ennobling lessons are practical for the modern world. Their teachings are summed up in two great sayings: Tat twam asi (That thou art) and Aham Brahmasmi (I am Brahman). This oneness of Soul and God lies at the very root of all Vedic thought, and the dominant ideal points to the unity of all life and the oneness of Truth.

The Tradition and Current Practices of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis: An Interview with Dr. Hugh McCague, Part 2 of 2

The Rosicrucian movement is a mystical fraternity which, by necessity, operated in secret for much of its existence. And then starting in 2001 and going to the 2016 three more manifestos were issued worldwide. A central message is that life can be mastered and we are here for a purpose, that the human being has a deep spiritual nature. And we will find that’s our true birth right, and as we grew up, as we mature, we are fully coming to that. And we refer to what we often called the Master, the God within, the inner self to learn to have a continuous rapport or an increasing rapport with that.

From the Holy Buddhist Tipitaka: Kakacupama Sutta - The Parable of the Saw

Shakyamuni Buddha was a great spiritual master from ancient India. Born as Prince Siddhartha Gautama, he left the palace life in search of spiritual knowledge. After years of contemplative seeking, the Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. He then shared the merits of his practice by providing a method for other sentient beings to be freed from the cycle of death and rebirth.
