Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Loving Concern for America, July 27, 2021

Host: During a work-related phone call with a Supreme Master Television team member on July 27, 2021, Supreme Master Ching Hai graciously took time to answer some questions regarding a few current events. As it was spontaneous, we didn’t record the conversation properly. Thus, it is not suitable for airing. We sincerely apologize and offer our respected viewers this summary, along with a voice-over reading of the transcribable parts from Master’s replies. Following were a few of the highlights.Q(m): In California, a law called Proposition 47 requires some certain serious crimes to be charged as less serious ones, with the consequence that criminals are openly committing acts of theft without fear of prosecution. For example, one would have to steal over US$950 of goods from a store to commit a felony and thus have the police be interested in arresting the suspect. Below this amount, it is a misdemeanor and not considered worth the time of the police and prosecutors to arrest and convict the individual. What does Master think of this law?VO: Master answered that even misdemeanors, meaning minor crimes like theft, are unlawful, and could lead to worse, more serious felonies. Thus, governments should not be encouraging lawless behavior, which might cause other states’ or countries’ people to think that misdemeanors are acceptable. Also, after the California law was implemented, many small businesses and people have suffered from an increase in thefts; in some worse cases, businesses were forced to close, maybe due to fear of attack, and loss of income. Master said this is not right and so She does not agree with this law. In Master’s words: “They cannot, just because the prison is full, tell people to go out and steal. That is against society’s principle. That will lower people’s dignity, and create a chaotic, unsafe living environment. You cannot just live freely, stealing people’s property like that. And then in the meantime, you are even defunding the police, telling people to not buy guns and all that.No wonder crimes soared up. Because it is all contradictory, as they have to pay taxes, have to pay their employees, employees’ insurance, bonuses, vacations, etc. (Right.) They also have their families, children to take care of too! They must pay for all kinds of insurance, mortgages, school fees, and hundreds of other things. The government is responsible for the poor, not shoving this burden to private citizens, who already contribute for this through tax payment! How can they live being robbed anytime without protection from the police and authorities!? (Yes.) On top of that, they are not allowed to have guns for defense. (Not that I support guns, but the poor hapless people will be forced to resort to this means of defense, thus create a more beyond-control violent society!!!) It’s absolutely against logic, morals and any society’s safety standard. I hope they will change this harmful law! I mean, people have to survive. (Yes.) I mean the good people, the hardworking kind. (That’s right.) The backbone of society… Shop owners risking their capital to open a business, they must earn their money. And if the shop’s items are always being stolen like that, the business will be out, then consequently the employees, the good kind of people, will be fired. And then he has no money, and then what to do? Copy that thief. (Yes.) Maybe because they have no job. Or maybe because they say, ‘Oh, what the heck, why not?’ (Yes.) They work very hard. And that guy who does nothing, can come in and take everything he likes. ‘Why the heck I don’t do the same?’ See what I’m saying? (That’s right.) It’s a very bad, bad, bad example. It has this very bad reputation, for whatever county of the United States, or state, or country. You cannot teach people to be immoral and bad, and then expect the whole nation to be safe and sound! Especially the USA, the country that people look up to! Imagine being called the country of thieves! What an ‘honorable’ name for its citizens!” (Yes.)In Master’s words: “…They should solve the economic problem, not just avoid the crowded prisons or playing the good guy, caring not about how hard-working taxpayers must face hardship, danger daily, fending for themselves in a fearful, lawless country.Make other prisons different from them. Let them all work there and work in the garden. (Yes.) Even plant vegetables, make an organic farm. Plant, and sell. (Yes.) And enjoy. We are having shortages of food at present due to the climate, COVID and tons of other reasons. So let them contribute, not burden their countrymen and make bad examples for others, especially for the youth!”In Master’s words: “Any other questions?” (Thank You. Yes.) Q(m): The United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has created a special committee of House members to investigate the January 6, 2021 protest incident at the US Capitol. Republicans have generally opposed the committee’s formation, and Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has criticized the committee’s membership, as none of his picks for the committee were selected by Ms. Pelosi. Ms. Pelosi has chosen two Republicans as committee members, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. In Master’s words: “Oh, yeah, against Trump. (Yes.) They wanted to impeach him.” (Right. However, as You said, both voted in favor of impeaching His Excellency Donald Trump after the incident. The other seven committee members are Democrats.) “Ah.” Q(m): What does Master think of the formation of this committee? In Master’s words: “What a surprise! I am surprised. Surprised that in a very supposed-to-be just and democratic society, it’s a one-sided kind of judgment. (Yes.) Just say, even a normal citizen, when he committed something wrong, they have a fair court. (Yes.) And if they don’t even have money to hire a lawyer, the government even offers a lawyer for him or her. That was like that in America. (Yes.) But in President Trump’s case, it’s completely different, completely opposite to democracy. Without any lawyers, police even. (Yes.) In his old age, without friends, he could not bear. You can see already. Why bother making a committee? (Yes.) Just to write it all down, ‘He’s all guilty, he’s bad…’ Whatever. Like they have been saying all these years already. They even criticize, they call him bad names. They even call him bad names by his skin color or his hair or weight or whatever. Oh, it’s a terrible example of society. (Yes.) They don’t even respect his constitutional position as head of state. He’s one of the elected, legally, fairly, correctly. (Yes.) It’s not a fair trial, you can see it already. (Right.) What’s the use of the trouble of making a committee? (Yes.) Just to make themselves a laughing stock again for the global elites? It was the Speaker of the House, she refused and neglected to provide extra security on that day, though she had been reminded by President Trump and warned by others. And now they blame Trump. All blaming him. It’s not fair. And the Democrats make a bad reputation for themselves, with witch-hunting tactics like this. Everybody can see it’s one-sided and unfair.”VO: Master continued to shed light on this problem and its impact on the American nation. Then, the conversation about the United States turned to the recent show on Supreme Master Television about the first United States President, His Excellency George Washington. When Master was sent the program about President Washington for perusal, She had such a nostalgic feeling. In Master’s words: “I’m thinking to become an American citizen. Feels like my own race. (Yes.) He (George Washington) treated his enemy with love, you know, and respect. Oh, and that touched me a lot. That’s why I love the country so much. Even just the clip that you have… I felt, I don’t know, I just watched it again and again. It’s something I cannot explain. (Yes.)And then, I just wanted to become an American citizen to safeguard Her (America), from whoever tries to hurt Her. As if shielding a child from any bully! No! Seriously I was kind of taking sides, feeling sorry for the Americans, siding with President Washington, siding with the Americans. But consider my age already, what am I to do? Just had a strong kind of desire at that time, while watching. (Right. Yes.) And it still keeps lingering.” Host: We are grateful for our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai’s shared insights, as well as Her straightforward, loving advice for governments. May all leaders and citizens alike uphold fair and noble principles, thus helping to preserve the moral dignity of our human race. We wish Cherished Master to continue Her noble Work in peace and robust health, with the forever loyal assistance of all High Heavens. For the full broadcast of this work-related phone call with Supreme Master Ching Hai, please tune in to Between Master and Disciples on Friday, August 6, 2021.

In today’s news, Turkey launches vocational training center for women in Herat, Afghanistan, action plan initiated for saving endangered plant species in Australia, Washington State in United States passes law requiring greenhouse gas emission neutrality by 2050, study from Germany highlights benefits of youthful state of mind, kind-hearted woman in Chennai, India, provides free mobile oxygen service to help COVID-19 sufferers, vegan animal companion food startup introduces plant-based formula for dogs, and mother pig escapes pig factory to birth ten piglets in United Kingdom. Turkey sets up vocational training center for Afghan women. State-run aid agency, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), opened a sewing and dress design vocational training center for women in western Afghanistan. The center is owned by the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Women. TIKA's Herat office said in a statement that upon completion of the tailoring and designing courses, the graduates will more easily be able to find work and be self-sustaining, thus making positive contributions to their families and society. The skills garnered for designing and tailoring garments means the women will also be able to produce uniforms for various institutions and government organizations. Turkey is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance. What a marvelous friendship and generous move, Turkey, with your caring efforts assisting Afghan women to be more employable. In Allah’s blessings, may you and the benevolent people of Afghanistan live in peace and harmony. Action plan created for Australia’s most threatened native flora. A publication by the Threatened Species Recovery Hub in Australia has identified 50 plant species at the greatest risk of extinction and the measures required to recover their populations. According to the Australian government-supported assessment, plants make up more than 70% of nationally listed threatened species, and at least 12 native plant species have become extinct since European settlement 230 years ago. Led by Dr. Rod Fensham from the University of Queensland, the analysis noted that the main cause of the flora’s decline is extensive land clearing for agriculture and urbanization, while climate change is adding an increased threat to their survival. To conserve Australian plants, the plan states that the most important action is habitat protection, while ensuring consistent monitoring and research. Australia is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Caring, Good Governance, Health Guardian and High Moral Value. Many thanks, Australia, Threatened Species Recovery Hub, Dr. Rod Fensham and all involved. In God’s eternal care, may we always conserve all species as they play diverse roles in Earth’s natural ecology. Up next, Washington State in United States passes law requiring greenhouse gas emission neutrality by 2050. We wish to thank all the loving hospital volunteers who do tasks for doctors, nurses and staff, as well as helping patients and guests, all the while giving their time and energy without financial compensation. Please stay with us for more worthwhile news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: cuz children should eat healthy food.Hi, generous viewers, it’s me Elliot your cute, vegan Elephant Seal. I can share with you a personal secret to look younger than your age. Just be vegan! Did you know that many museums around the world have used their creativity to offer virtual tours during the pandemic? Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to worry less and you and your kids can always leave the tour early if you like. This is not only an educational experience, but one in which you can spend quality time with your family. Thank you for tuning in and love you a lot for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now for the weather around the globe. Washington State to be at net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050. The state of Washington in the United States recently enacted the Climate Commitment Act into law - a legislative package that requires it to be a net-zero GHG emitter by 2050. The state had previously promised to reduce its climate pollution by 50% by 2030. Other newly approved laws address hydrofluorocarbon pollution, establish clean fuel standards for transportation, limit single-use plastics and boost recycled content in plastic containers. The waste plastic legislation will reduce the state’s dependence on fossil fuel-derived plastics, which in turn will help protect its majestic beaches and wildlife. Kudos, Washington State leaders and all involved, for your conscientious plan to protect your beautiful land for all current and future inhabitants. In the grace of the Providence, may your endeavors soon include the necessary step of Vegan Law to most powerfully and positively impact the environment and climate stability. German study reveals that feeling younger may increase lifespan. Research by the German Centre of Gerontology has linked feeling young to a longer life expectancy and better health when aging. The investigation analyzed data from more than 5,000 people over the age of 40 and found that stress may shorten life expectancy as well as negatively affect health. Overall, those who had the most stress saw the largest chance of declining functional health skills like climbing stairs, bathing and dressing, while those that felt young experienced less decline. The lead author of the study, Dr. Markus Wettstein, suggested that interventions such as messaging campaigns that present positive images of aging can help people to feel younger and thus be beneficial, along with helping them reduce and handle stress better. Thank you, Dr. Markus Wettstein and all German Centre of Gerontology researchers involved, for your encouraging inquiry. In the radiance of the Divine, may all global citizens live peace-filled lives with a healthy balance between work, rest and contemplation on their soul. Altruistic Indian woman honors her mother through free mobile oxygen service. R. Seetha Devi, 36, from Chennai, India, lost her mother to COVID-19 when she could not receive oxygen therapy in time. In response, Ms. Devi has equipped an auto-rickshaw with an oxygen cylinder to provide free oxygen to those in need to help them avoid the same fate. Promptly at 7:00 am daily, Ms. Devi shows up at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai to offer oxygen to patients as they wait for a bed. She also lends her cylinder to ambulances that run out of oxygen. So far, she has assisted over 500 people free of charge, including transporting them to nearby medical facilities, and modified two more auto-rickshaws into oxygen-supplying vehicles. As well, Ms. Devi operates an NGO called Street Vision Social Charitable Trust to help underprivileged children. We offer our profound gratitude and admiration for your life-giving services, R. Seetha Devi and all those that aid you in this noble work. God bless you all. We pray that those who have succumbed during this pandemic rest peacefully, in Heaven’s eternal shelter. Coming up, vegan animal companion food startup introduces plant-based formula for dogs. We will take some moments to thank God, that even when we are tested with obstacles, Hes is always there renewing our faith with both invisible and visible support. We’ll return with more munificent news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: teach children healthy living n noble thinking. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Uplifting News for a Kinder World. Sustainability-focused animal companion food company launches plant-based formula for dogs. United States vegan startup Petaluma, Inc. has introduced a world-first – a baked and 100% plant-based food for adult dogs of all breeds. Petaluma’s Roasted Peanut Butter & Sweet Potato Flavor has been carefully designed to meet all of a dog’s nutritional requirements without the need for animal products. It contains 50%-plus organic ingredients and a blend of plant-based proteins, including organic chickpeas, peanuts, brown rice, and yeast. In the United States, 20% of all meat consumption is attributed to dogs. This is equivalent to the amount of meat consumed by 69 million people. Opting for plant-based dog food lowers an individual dog’s diet-related greenhouse gas emissions by 75%, the effects on land use by 90%, and freshwater use by 50%. A round of applause, Petaluma, for your Earth-protecting creation! In the guiding Light of the Divine, may all beings go vegan to save our planet. Courageous sow flees pig factory to save her piglets. A pregnant pig escaped the place where she was being raised for slaughter and gave birth to 10 piglets in a nearby wooded area close to Ollerton, England, United Kingdom. A dog walker saw the loving mom, later named Matilda, and her 10 babies and contacted Brinsley Animal Rescue. Volunteers started feeding the family with plans to save them; however, after three days, the pig factory recaptured them. Within one day, the charity gathered a 5,000-strong petition to rescue brave Matilda and her piglets, as well as started a campaign named “Rescue the Ollerton 11.” Later, the factory owners agreed to relinquish the family if the planned demonstration advocating for the pigs was canceled. Members of the loving pig family will be placed at the Surge Sanctuary and other forever homes. Many thanks, Brinsley Animal Rescue, Surge Sanctuary and all whose voices were instrumental in saving eleven innocent beings, in the love of the Providence. How about a joke of the day to relax with for a while? It’s called, “Unusual Behavior.” A group of bats was hanging around as usual from a cave ceiling when they noticed Bridget standing upright all by herself on the floor. Intrigued by her unusual behavior, one bat asked: “What’s the matter with you, Bridget? Why are you standing like that?” “I’m doing yoga!” ?! And now we have a heartline from Ellie in Georgia, United States: I want to sincerely thank You, Master, for Your unconditional Love and protection. About a week ago, I was helping with the final phase of construction for the exterior of our vegan restaurant. While I was cleaning up near the entrance of the restaurant, other co-workers were putting up hardiplank (siding) for the wall. One whole piece of four feet by eight feet fell down from about a 30-foot height. It fell directly down where I was. At that instant, I felt a force push my head away from the object; the hardiplank fell past my head, missing it by an inch. My brother-in-law and my younger brother were on top of the scissor lift. Both were frozen and couldn’t react and couldn’t tell me to get out of the way as it fell down. Everything happened too fast. After it hit the ground, I was shocked also. I looked around to see who pushed me away, but no one did; I know it was You, Master, who saved my life. I’m forever grateful for Your unconditional Love and protection. Thank You, Master, from the bottom of my heart. I wish the highest Heaven always protects Master. May Master always have good health, happiness and be safe. I will always love You, most Beloved Master. Your disciple, Ellie from Georgia, United States Lucky Ellie, Our gratefulness to you for sharing this amazing story. That you escaped injury in this way is yet another example of Master’s Divine power in action. May God continue to bless you and the energetic American people in your inspired endeavors. Master sends this loving reply: “Favored Ellie, your good fortune must also be a response to your loving deeds and opening your vegan restaurant! I am so glad you are alright, and I send you my Love, enthusiasm for this new venture and joyfully wish you all the luck and success. May the Heavens guide and nurture you, your loved ones, and enterprising America.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineThank you for your presence on Noteworthy News. May Heaven’s infinite light shine on you and your loved ones.

In today’s news, Korea donates rice to Laos, researchers in United States find Earth now absorbing double the heat, invention helps musicians with disabilities pursue their dreams, wildlife-friendly Ibis Rice project expanding in Cambodia, Hungarian and Israeli professor jointly win prestigious mathematics prize, Canada’s Komo Plant Based Foods Inc. launches healthy vegan taco filling, and survey shows most New Zealand employees prefer dog companions in the workplace. Korea provides food assistance to Laos. The Korean Ambassador to Laos, His Excellency Moohong Im, presented 1,320 metric tons of rice with a value of about US$1.26 million to a United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP) representative in Vientiane, Laos. Her Excellency Madame Baykham Khatthiya, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare of Laos, witnessed the donation. This generous contribution will be used to help the most vulnerable communities in Laos during unforeseen natural disasters and food shortages. In some emergency cases, WFP will directly work with local areas to quickly respond to community rice needs. Over recent years, climate change has brought more challenges to the disadvantaged, and COVID-19 has exacerbated hardships for the underprivileged in the country. Korea is a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Peace. Our heartfelt thanks, Korea and United Nations World Food Programme, for your caring partnership. May Buddha bless all the faithful people of Laos to live in joy, prosperity and abundance. Researchers determine Earth has double the heat imbalance compared to 14 years ago. Data from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the United States shows that in 2019, the Earth was absorbing twice the amount of heat as in 2005. This figure is calculated from the amount of solar radiation that enters the atmosphere and how much thermal infrared radiation is released. The scientists noted that higher levels of human-caused greenhouse gases in the atmosphere were stopping heat radiation from leaving the planet, with less solar radiation able to be reflected by sea ice and clouds. Thank you, researchers from NASA and NOAA, for your timely study of the dire situation now happening on our heating planet. In the grace of God, may all people quickly switch to a plant-based lifestyle as we change our habits to ensure our ongoing survival. Up next, invention helps musicians with disabilities pursue their dreams. We’ll just thank all the talented tap dancers, who charm us with their fast and rhythmical footwork and sunshiny spirit. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more beneficial news. Vegan: cuz we r originally loving and kind.Good day, lively viewers, it’s Scarlett the vegan baby Skunk. In my family, we get our energy directly from the sun by eating plant foods. And you should too,’cause you’ll soon feel big and strong like us! I’ve got a handy tip for you today. If you accidentally get your carpet wet with water, such as from a busted water line, rain, or even a spilled glass of water, you’ll need to dry your carpet as quickly as possible, as water can rapidly absorb through the pad and subfloor and cause damage and lead to mold. If the water has already soaked through, the carpet should be lifted off, as the padding would take a long time to dry and can produce a foul smell. You can use a fan or dehumidifier to dry the carpet, but make sure they don’t get wet and the cords aren’t lying on damp surfaces. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Thank you for watching, and here’s the weather around the world! Invention aids those with disabilities play music. Twenty-one year-old Alexandra Kerlidou, from Lesbos, Greece, is a harpist with cerebral palsy who was recently able to play her divine-sounding instrument at a concert in Athens simply using her gaze. Thanks to a new technology called Eyeharp, the young musician, who cannot use her hands like a traditional harpist, moves her eyes across a computer screen to instantly translate her inspiration into audible music. The gaze-controlled technology was invented by Zacharias Vamvakousis, a computer scientist who created it to help his friend continue to play music after a motorcycle accident. Utilizing sensors to gauge the musician’s eye movements, it associates the position of the gaze with the appropriate notes and generates the melodies. A standing ovation, Alexandra Kerlidou, on an awesome performance, and truly incredible work, Zacharias Vamvakousis. In Celestial jubilation, may all people find love and happiness in music and art. Certified organic rice initiative in Cambodia taking root. The pioneering wildlife-friendly Ibis Rice project implemented across 14 villages in Preah Vihear province, Cambodia, has been so successful that it has been replicated in three other provinces nearby. Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Cambodia started this program in 2008 to protect biodiversity in the country’s northern plains, with participating farmers having their rice being sold at 50% more than the market price. WCS Cambodia Community Technical Adviser Phann Sithan commented on the program, “People are not allowed to clear forest land, cut down trees, use any kind of chemical pesticides, [or] hunt or trap wild animals.” The project is greatly aiding conservation work, especially for supporting the endangered giant ibis and the white-shouldered ibis, as well as protecting biodiversity. Way to go, Wildlife Conservation Society Cambodia and participating parties. May the project continue expanding and bringing benefits to Cambodia’s people and environment in the loving care of the Buddha. Prominent professors awarded prestigious mathematics prize. Professor László Lovász from Hungary and Professor Avi Wigderson from Israel were recently jointly awarded the Abel Prize. It was given for their life’s work in discrete mathematics and theoretical computer science which has greatly influenced the evolution of modern computer science. The prize was established by Norway in 2001 to give mathematicians “their own equivalent of a Nobel Prize.” During his acceptance speech, Professor Lovász spoke about a field of mathematics called graph theory that can help humans to understand complex systems such as ecological communities, epidemics and even the brain. In an interview, Professor Wigderson described the great advances that his field of study, computational complexity theory, is bringing to technology and science. Norway is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Environmental Protection, Humanitarianism, Good Governance and Peace, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Animal Protection and Compassion. Congratulations, Professors László Lovász and Avi Wigderson, on your prize, and thank you for your exceptional contributions. In the blessings of the Divine, may humanity move rapidly towards an advanced civilization based on love and respect for all. Coming up, Canada’s Komo Plant-Based Foods Inc. launches healthy vegan taco filling. We will now pray for a world freed of weapons, so all beings can live their lives without unnecessary fear and suffering. More gladdening news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: cuz we want 2 reclaim our God Kingdom. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Brightening News for an Incredible World. Majority of New Zealanders want to bring dog companions to work. According to a recent survey of 800 employees by New Zealand’s pet insurance provider PD Insurance, of those companies who have a no-dogs policy at the workplace, 83% of employees with canine companions would prefer to bring their buddy to work, while 77% would be more loyal to their employers, and 30% would willingly take a decrease in pay if dog friends were allowed. More than half of those polled who are currently able to bring their dog companions to work would decline a better job offer if their canine friends were not permitted to join them. Respondents cited many positive effects of dog-friendly workplaces, such as avoiding separation anxiety for canines, increasing team bonding and morale, and calming the work atmosphere. What fascinating findings, PD Insurance! May more workplaces in New Zealand and beyond welcome our loving canine friends, in Divine wisdom. Humor makes life easier. Here is today’s joke entitled “Newly Found Ability.” “I really hoped you’d pass this exam, Chris. What do you have to say for yourself?” “I know I failed the exam, but Dad, I discovered that I have a special ability!” “What ability could that possibly be?” “Psychic ability, Dad!” “What do you mean - psychic ability?” “Well, I knew in advance that I would fail this exam!” ?! And now we have a heartline from Zi-Ping in China: One of our old friends, also an initiate, has two cats. One is a black and white bicolored cat called “Xiao-Bao.” The other one is a tabby called “Xiao-Hu.” In addition, he has a cute Bichon Frise dog called “Guai-Guai.” One time, when they were joyously playing on the roof of the third floor, Xiao-Hu slipped and fell downstairs. Xiao-Bao was terrified and ran to our old friend, biting him while mewing at him. Our friend intuitively felt that there must be something wrong, so he followed Xiao-Bao, who led him to Xiao-Hu. Then, Xiao-Hu was saved. Another time, a similar accident happened to lovely Guai-Guai, and it was Xiao-Hu who saved Guai-Guai. These three little beings really love one another, and they always give a helping hand to each other in times of danger, which is what real good friends should do for each other. These things make us realize their unconditional love. That’s why I love animals. I would like to call on humans not to eat our animal friends anymore. Instead, we should love and protect all animals and living beings. Veganism is the only lifestyle that humans should follow! Zi-Ping from China Good-hearted Zi-Ping, Our appreciation for your heartline. Your touching story is a testimony to the unconditional love animals have for each other and also for us. They are an example to be followed as their love exemplifies the unconditional Love of the Divine. Loving them back just as wholeheartedly, by saving and protecting their lives, is the best thing that humans could do for them. We fervently pray to all Godses that the dream of planetary veganism comes to pass very soon! Your innovative country could become a blessed leader in this loving vegan transformation. May you and illustrious China always enjoy Buddha’s favor, Supreme Master TV team We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. In today’s news, Italy to admit 500 migrants from Libya via Humanitarian Corridors initiative, research shows climate change causing significant drop in freshwater lakes’ oxygen levels, Australia creating online environmental services trading system to encourage farmers to plant trees and protect biodiversity, skull of possible new ancient species of human discovered in China, Senegalese football star builds hospital in home village, frozen dessert chain in United States partners with Oatly to offer vegan soft serve, and talented canine creates artwork for charity in Las Vegas, United States. Italy embraces Humanitarian Corridor approach for entry of 500 refugees from Libya. Italian Interior Minister, Her Excellency Luciana Lamorgese, announced the signing of an agreement to bring 500 migrants stranded in Libya to Italy. The announcement was made during a conference in Rome called “Governing Migration: The Best Practice of Humanitarian Corridors.” This initiative will involve the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and will be overseen by Rome’s Community of Sant'Egidio and the Waldensians. Her Excellency said, “Rights and responsibilities go hand in hand, and therefore work must be done not only to accommodate migrants but also to integrate them.” Italy is a Shining World Leadership Award for Public Health Protection recipient. What an embracing endeavor, Italy. May other countries follow your benevolent way in hosting and assisting migrants to rebuild their lives. We pray for love and peace to be everywhere so that the sufferings of all refugees and migrants are a thing of the past, in God’s immense grace. Global warming substantially decreases oxygen levels in freshwater lakes. New research led by scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States indicates that climate change and human activity are drivers behind decreasing oxygen amounts in freshwater lakes. The study looked at nearly 400 lakes in temperate areas worldwide and analyzed water temperature and oxygen saturation dating back to 1941. Since 1980, the oxygen levels have dipped an average of 5.5% at the surface and 18.6% in deep waters, a rate around 3-9 times faster than the oxygen decrease observed in the world’s oceans. The oxygen depletion endangers aquatic life and has a drastic impact on the surrounding ecosystem, as freshwater lakes support a high level of the planet’s biodiversity. Australia financially encourages farmers to protect environment and stem climate change. The Australian government is launching the world’s first online platform under the newly approved Agriculture Biodiversity Stewardship Package, which will allow farmers to receive and sell credits by engaging in carbon-storing activities and biodiversity services on their land, to support their livelihood. Credits can be earned via planting trees, restoring native habitat, measuring and maintaining carbon stored in their soil, and other good land management practices like preventing soil erosion and safeguarding waterways. These credits can then be sold to companies or individuals looking to offset their own emissions or invest in the environment. Way to go, Australian government, on your forward-thinking plan to encourage your vast nation’s farmers to protect biodiversity and improve the soil. May your Agriculture Biodiversity Stewardship Package support native forests and habitats and create havens for our dear wildlife, in the guidance of the Providence. Ancient human skull discovered in Harbin, China, possibly new species. The skull of an ancient human, which was found in 1933 and donated to scientists in China in 2018, is thought to be a potential new species and perhaps our closest evolutionary relative. Named Homo Longi after the Dragon River in Heilongjiang province where the skull was found, he lived at least 146,000 years ago. Homo Longi has the biggest cranium of any known human ancestor at around 1,420 cubic centimeters, and larger brow ridges, bigger molar teeth and also larger, more angular-shaped eyes than modern day humans. Such exciting news, scientists in China, on the discovery of a possible long-lost human relative. May the knowledge gained from studying Homo Longi help us to feel a closer affinity with every human on the planet as we recognize our interconnectedness, in the love of the Buddha. Celebrated Senegalese footballer builds hospital in home village. World-famous professional football player Sadio Mané, who currently plays for Liverpool Football Club, funded the almost US$630,000 needed for the building of a new hospital in Bambali, Senegal, enabling the village to have its first-ever healthcare facility. This generous contribution was due to Mr. Mané’s memory of when he was only seven years old and losing his father to an illness because there was no hospital in the area. He said, “I wanted to build [a hospital] to give people hope.” So far, Mr. Mané has donated over US$1 million to help develop Bambali, including constructing a high school for nearly US$350,000. He also contributed more than US$57,000 to Senegalese health authorities to help them respond to the coronavirus in 2020. Thank you, Sadio Mané, for your generosity and kindness. May Bambali and surrounding villages always be able to access quality healthcare and education, in Allah’s grace. Border Collie mix Arbor, who was adopted from an animal shelter, has been creating beautiful paintings that are sold online to raise money for animal rescue groups. Arbor’s works of art have so far raised US$14,000, with one of the pieces fetching US$2,100. Initially, when she started painting, her human companion Bryce Henderson placed images of them on a Facebook page, which grew to 100,000 followers within minutes and is now at 500,000. He encourages people to look to no-kill shelters for their next animal companion because, “They’ll end up being your best friend...” Our applause, gifted Arbor for creating your beautiful artwork, and Bryce Henderson for your support of the animals. We pray that your actions will help more homeless souls in animal shelters find loving residences, in the blessings of Heaven. Here comes the joke of the day, laugh at it or not. It’s entitled “A Competent Answer.” In math class, the teacher asked the students: “Susan went to the library at 5:15 pm and left at 5:30 pm. How long was Susan at the library?” One student eagerly raised her hand to answer. “Not very long at all!” And now we have a heartline from Đan in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam: Dear Beloved Master, I was initiated by You when I was a high school student, about 30 years ago. After that afternoon, even though I didn’t have many inner experiences, my heart and mind were brightened up. It was as if I entered into a real world, and I did not feel attached to anything on this Earth. I did not want to study anymore. I only wanted to be a monk to do God’s work. However, I had to force myself to finish high school. I went to school, but I always thought about the Five Holy Names and Master. I kept looking for a way to escape from life to fulfill my ideal. Then Master arranged for me to have a vegan restaurant for 10 years already. My life is now stable. Your disciple, Đan from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) Considerate Đan, Thank you for writing. We are happy to know that you are serving delicious vegan food through your restaurant, helping people transition to a compassionate lifestyle as Heavens have intended. Your meaningful work is commendable! Master has some caring words for you: “Devoted Đan, my thanks to you for your faith in the Divine and continuing diligently on the path of inner realization. You are doing your best in this way to uplift others through your vegan restaurant, and Heavens rejoice with countless other beings for your noble work which rescues precious lives. Please continue your mission with heart, mind, soul and more joyful determination. Thank you. May you and beautiful Âu Lạc (Vietnam) be blessed in Buddha’s eternal Light.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. In today’s news, United Arab Emirates sends humanitarian aid to Gaza, scientists warn climate change could increase high mountain avalanches, taxis in Madrid, Spain, to go green, China’s border port with Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, now allows fruit imports, courageous man rescues two people from burning vehicle in United States, vegan meat sales almost double in Switzerland, and rescued puppies learn to sniff out water pipe leaks in New Zealand. United Arab Emirates (UAE) provides relief aid to Gaza. The UAE recently sent 20 ambulances with vital security, safety and emergency equipment to Gaza. Organized by the Emirates Red Crescent, the donation aims to improve the healthcare system and humanitarian conditions of the Palestinians. The Gulf state has demonstrated steady support for the people of Palestine and provided over 1,760 metric tons of food and medical supplies to 40,000 Gazan families since January 2021. The United Arab Emirates is a recipient of the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, Environment Protection, Protection, and Compassion. Our heartfelt gratitude, United Arab Emirates, for your brotherly love for the people of Palestine. May Allah bless them all to live in peace, joy and abundance. Study cautions global warming could trigger more high mountain disasters. An international team of scientists has published a report on the Ronti Peak avalanche in India’s Uttarakhand state, a tragic event which took the lives of over 200 people and damaged hydropower infrastructure in February 2021. Led by Dr. Dan Shugar from Canada’s University of Calgary, the paper estimates that the amount of collapsed rock and ice was approximately 27 million cubic meters. In its descent, it rapidly grew into a massive debris flow that hit the valley floor with the force of multiple atomic bombs. Alarmingly, the analysis highlights that while steep mountains are susceptible to mass movements, climate change is exacerbating such hazards. As global heating melts and destabilizes the glacierized slopes, the study warns soberly that the Ronti Peak avalanche could be a “precursor” to more such catastrophic events as warming continues. Many thanks, Dr. Dan Shugar and all scientists involved. To ensure a safer future, may humanity urgently transition to the climate-cooling vegan diet, in Heaven’s wisdom. Up next, taxis in Madrid, Spain, to go green. We’d like to thank the memory design and development engineers, who find ways to optimize the memory of computer chips and their processing speed. When we return, more illustrious news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Vegan side effect: walking, feeling like a hero.Good day, inquisitive viewers, it’s Sarah the vegan Purple Swamphen! As a cool vegan, I’m always full of energy and good vibes – two of the many benefits of a plant-based diet. So, go vegan today and power up like me! Did you know there is a correct way to hang wet laundry? If it is not done properly, it may take longer for it to dry and you could also end up with more wrinkles. For pants, align the inner seams and hang them on the drying rack or clotheslines by the very bottom of the pants instead of the waistband. The heavier waistband will help the fabric hang down, pulling the wrinkles away. Similarly, pin your knit-garments like cotton T-shirts and sweaters upside down at the sides to avoid wrinkles or stretching at the shoulders. And for woven shirts like button-downs, you should dry these using hangers. But if you do use clothespins, it’s also better to pin them by the bottom hems. Much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now for the weather around the world. Madrid, Spain, to use green, hydrogen-powered taxis. The Professional Taxi Federation of Madrid recently launched a €100 million project that will see at least 1,000 gasoline-powered taxis replaced with hydrogen models by 2026. The fuel will be generated by an electrolyzer that uses power from a solar farm to split hydrogen gas from water, which will be used to run Toyota Mirai cars. The vehicles feature a hydrogen fuel cell that can run for up to 600 kilometers on one tank. Spanish photovoltaic developer Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, part of the United Arab Emirates-based Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, will participate in the initiative by creating the hydrogen production infrastructure, vehicle recharging stations and fuel supplies. Great news, Professional Taxi Federation of Madrid and all involved in this Earth-friendly initiative. In the blessings of God, may your project be a success and help encourage the full conversion of all vehicles in Spain to planet-friendly models. China’s border port with Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, open for fresh fruit imports. The border port of Dongxing in China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has recently begun allowing the import of fresh fruits from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) and other nations like Thailand. A Dongxing customs official stated that nine varieties of fruits from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) are now authorized for importation, as well as 22 kinds from Thailand. Delectable types that may enter include durians, dragon fruits, jack fruits, wax apples and more. The inaugural fruit shipment that came to Dongxing weighed 275 metric tons and filled 13 container trucks. China is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance recipient and a laureate of six Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Environmental Protection, Wildlife-Protection, and Compassionate Protection. Way to go, China, for permitting the entry of delicious and healthy fruits from abroad for your citizens to enjoy. In the radiance of the Buddha, may such collaboration and free trade continue to expand between nations as we share with each other all the good things that we have to offer. Hero risks his life to save two people from crashed car. Gabriel Lascurain, a shuttle driver in Oregon, United States, was on the highway of his normal route at 2:15 am when he saw a vehicle that had crashed into the road’s embankment and was on fire. A young man and woman were inside shouting for help. The courageous Mr. Lascurain immediately stopped his truck, and using his tools was able to pull out the trapped occupants just seconds before the car exploded. Mr. Lascurain realized he was risking his life but said, “I had to just put myself aside and say, ‘I have to do this.’” He also shared, “I pray I never have to do it again but if I had to, I would.” The rescued pair were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A standing ovation, Gabriel Lascurain, for your heroic, life-saving response! God bless you. May the people you saved fully recover soon and have a bright and safe future in Heaven’s grace. Coming up, vegan meat sales almost double in Switzerland. It will only take us a moment to open the curtains to allow rays of sunlight into the room. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: People will talk about your courage to chagne. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Wonderful News for a Gracious World. Switzerland sees large increase in sales of plant-based meat. According to the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) in Switzerland, the sales of vegan meat products in the nation have almost doubled since 2016 to US$130 million in 2020. Vegan burgers are particularly popular, and one in six burger patties now sold are plant-based, while five years ago, it was one in 14. In total, 5,705 metric tons of plant-based meat were sold in 2020. The FOAG noted that the rising purchases represent a significant opportunity for the country’s agriculture industry, as currently, almost all vegan proteins used for meat analogs are imported. Congratulations, Switzerland, on your growing love of plant-based foods. In the wisdom of the Providence, may your dignified citizens always make the wise vegan choice when considering food options. New Zealand water agency trains dogs to detect leaks. Auckland’s council-controlled agency Watercare has been training three rescued puppies to track down hidden leaks in the city’s underground water pipe network. Previously mistreated and abandoned, the 7-month-old siblings, Flo, Piper, and Awa, are learning to detect the smell of chlorine which is used to disinfect drinking water. With their super-sensitive noses, trained dogs can sniff out chlorine up to a meter underground and pinpoint the exact location of leaks so that repair can be done to save water and energy. The scent-detection canine trainees are expected to graduate and be seen out on Auckland’s streets by the end of this year. Keep up the good work, Flo, Piper, and Awa! Our gratefulness, Watercare, for adopting the blessed trio and giving them a chance to help Auckland conserve water. May we cherish and protect all our animal co-inhabitants whose extraordinary abilities continue to amaze and assist us, in Celestial kindness. Life isn’t beautiful without happiness and laughter. Enjoy our joke of the day entitled “Experience.” “For how long did you work at your last job?”“30 years.”“And how old are you, ma’am?”“I’m 20 years old.”“Wait, you are 20 and have 30 years of experience? How can this be possible?”“I did lots of overtime!”“?!”And now we have a heartline from Fariba in Australia: Hallo, my Dear Master, How beautiful and pure You are. My Dear God, I miss You so much. How long I have searched to find You. Ever since I can remember, since I was a child, I have tried every way, I searched everywhere to find You. Every time, after a while, I realized that that way was not right. I always looked at the sky and called You in my heart. I knew this world is a prison, and I do not belong here. A few years ago, when I didn’t know Master, I had a dream that was not a dream. I saw that I went to a beautiful world and was fascinated by watching the lights, colors, and immense beautiful flowers. Then, I saw a heavenly being, a very beautiful girl, who showed me that place, and then she stood at the top of a high summit and asked me, “What is your wish?” Without any hesitation, my only wish, which was to see God, came into my mind, and before I could say my wish, I saw God in the form of a Lady, and She embraced me tightly with an indescribable joy. No words can express the feeling I had at that moment. Even the height and appearance of that Lady were completely the same as my Dear Master Ching Hai. A few months after that dream, miraculously, I found You among thousands of books and videos that, for many years, I used to search for the Truth. And from the first glance, I realized that You do not belong to this world. From Your beautiful and radiant face, it was obvious that You are Heavenly. Due to the pandemic, the initiation ceremony has been canceled many times for over a year now. Every time after the cancellation, it seems as if I am sinking into a sea of deep disappointment and sorrow. My greatest wish is to receive initiation and see You in person. And my next wish is to be able to work for world peace. I would like to dedicate all my love and work to help people in need, animals and the planet Earth. Master, please help me to be a good disciple of Yours and also that these wishes come true. From far away, I prostrate at Your feet, and kiss Your footsteps and send the tears of my love to Your beautiful glance. Sending with a world of love, Fariba from Australia Pure Fariba, Master responds in loving recognition: “Devout Fariba, I shed tears reading your letter, feeling your utmost sincerity and pain in your spiritual quest! Your heartfelt yearning and lifelong search are so intense because you are ready to go Home. So simply remember this and know I Love you as you patiently await initiation. In the meantime, be happy that you can help to spread the vegan diet and lifestyle in so many ways to rescue our world and bring us lasting peace. May Divine Grace guide your path each day, bringing wisdom and serenity to you and the pioneering Australian people.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. The government of Australia has contributed an additional US$2.3 million to the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) to enhance its work in Iraq, bringing their total donation in the last five years to US$11.5 million. The funding is strengthening the Iraqi government and local non-profit organizations on demining action, while also encouraging the hiring of capable men and women alike to develop mine management skills. Our sincere accolades and thanks, Australia, for your continued, compassionate support. May Allah bless the gentle Iraqi civilians to live in safety, peace and joy. Brazil’s food crops at risk due to minimal rain. Brazil, the world’s largest exporter of sugar, orange juice and coffee, recently had an extremely dry rainy season, which has left farmers with dwindling water reserves and concerns about the viability of this year’s crops. The current amount of oranges on the trees is already 31% lower than last year. Also, in some areas, farmers had to start irrigating their plants two months earlier than usual, and had only received half of the required water during the recent wet season. To worsen the difficult situation, food prices have already been increasing rapidly and along with the pandemic, hunger has become even more severe. Such concerning news, Brazil, on your nation’s lack of rain. In God’s Grace, may people’s lives and livelihoods soon stabilize as we work to heal the climate through our loving actions for all beings. Up next, astronomers observe unusual behavior in huge star. We’ll just take a little time to thank the plant pathologists, who identify the disorders that plants may experience as well as studying their overall health. We’ll be right back with more splendid news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: your butcher will blame himself 4 your absence.Hallo, beautiful friends, I’m Archie the vegan Arctic Fox. The secret to my happy life is that I’m vegan and I don’t harm others. What goes around, comes around, so let’s all be kind vegans – woohoo! If you’d like a cat to feel loved or more comfortable around you, try a technique called slow-blinking. Studies found that narrowing your eyes in a relaxed manner like when smiling, indicates ease or contentment for felines. Research also reveals that cats are more likely to approach someone if he or she had slow-blinked first. Thank you for tuning in. Good luck communicating! And love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around our beautiful globe. Astronomers surprised by dimming of huge star. In 2012, a star codenamed VVV-WIT-08, which is 250 light years away from Earth and 100 times larger than our Sun, dimmed by 97% for 200 days before it returned to its full brightness. With the phenomenon still fascinating scientists today, almost a decade later, a new study published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society revealed that the star only disappeared once in 17 years of observation. Data suggests that an object, opaque and much bigger than the star, had caused this unusual eclipse. Several theories were given, involving, for instance, a disk of dust and debris, or a black hole, but so far none of them conclusively explain the dimming. In Heaven’s guidance, we wish our dedicated astronomers success in discovering the secret of this unique star, while unlocking further mysteries in galaxies far away. Scientists use data to predict people’s aesthetic tastes. In a recent study at the California Institute of Technology in the United States, 1,500 volunteers rated their preferences in various genres of art. Then, through machine-learning of the initial results, a computer program was created that can foretell whether or not a person would like a previously unseen artwork. The prediction model was built by dividing paintings according to visual features such as contrast, saturation and hue, in addition to higher-level features that need human judgment to assess, such as whether the painting is still or dynamic. One finding was that there are three general categories that the subjects liked: abstract colorful paintings, complex paintings, and realistic object paintings. Thank you, California Institute of Technology researchers and volunteers. We marvel at the wonders of computer intelligence and look forward to its many beneficial uses, in a more benevolent, Divinely blessed world. Afghan activist doctor recognized for helping refugees in Turkey. In 2014, Dr. Zakira Hekmat founded the Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA), a resource and healing center to help vulnerable people, regardless of their nationalities. As a child, she herself had been internally displaced in her homeland of Afghanistan, then eventually attended medical school in Turkey. Dr. Hekmat was recently honored by the Research Center on Asylum and Migration (IGAM), a Turkish non-governmental organization. Her exceptional work includes organizing refugee volunteers in 58 cities throughout Turkey to help newly arrived displaced persons during the pandemic. She currently focuses on assisting refugees, particularly widows and youngsters, raising awareness of their rights, and promoting education, translation and other programs. Congratulations, Dr. Zakira Hekmat, and thank you for your dedication. May all refugees find stable new homes and lead peaceful lives, in Allah’s compassionate gaze. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Dr. Zakira Hekmat, plus a humble US$10,000 to further this noble endeavor, with all love, praises and appreciation. May the Divine keep you and all the people you help in a safe embrace.” Coming up, gourmet chocolate chain in the United States adds vegan ice cream. Exceptional news, Ghirardelli and Coconut Bliss, on your partnership to make vegan ice cream even more accessible. In the love of the Providence, may all desserts soon be made from purely plant-based ingredients so our cow and chicken friends may live in dignity. After more than a century, bearded vultures are reintroduced to German Alps. Although once flourishing, bearded vultures almost became extinct in the Alps due to humans hunting them based on the mistaken belief that they were harmful. Recently, two three-month-old female bearded vultures, named Bavaria and Wally, were released at Berchtesgaden National Park in southwest Bavaria, as part of a project managed by the Switzerland-headquartered Vulture Conservation Foundation (VCF). The two avians were hatched in Spain at the Andalusia Bearded Vultures Captive Breeding Centre of Guadalentín, which is also managed by VCF. In their new home, the young birds will be fed and monitored without human contact to make sure they are adjusting well. Plans are to continue releasing two to three of the rare vultures into the park each year. Thank you, Vulture Conservation Foundation, for your dedication and best wishes, Bavaria and Wally. May all members of your kind grace our skies once again, in Celestial splendor. Here is a joke to relax your bones. It’s called, “When I Grow Up.” Two 10-year-old friends were sharing what would each one like to be when they grow up. “I want to be a billionaire, like my uncle.” “Wow, your uncle is a billionaire?” “No, he wants to be a billionaire too.” And now we have a heartline from Yu-Lan in Taiwan, also known as Formosa: Master, lucky that You have come (to this planet), or I do not know how long I would have had to struggle in this mortal world. I don’t want to struggle, but I have to. Master, lucky that You have come to cut off the chain of reincarnation on us, and promised us liberation in one lifetime. We have deep gratitude for Your great magnanimity. We are truly fortunate. I hope more people will have the same luck as us. Master, lucky that You have come to save the planet, and disposed of the high-tech machines that controlled the Earth, thus returning freedom to all beings on Earth, and destroyed the maya, negative power and karmic force. Master, lucky that You have come to take care of the suffering animals on the farms. It is cruel to let them endure any longer. One could not bear even for one more second to see the innocent, empty and sad looks in their eyes. I pray that humanity will wake up quickly to become vegans, and our animal friends can live their lives freely as soon as possible. Thank You, Master and the Supreme Master TV team. Yu-Lan from Taiwan (Formosa) Passionate Yu-Lan, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, which you have expressed beautifully through your sincere words. Lucky are we, indeed, to be born in the same era as Master and to witness some of the greatest events in the history of humankind that you’ve mentioned, through Master’s Grace. May we cherish one another as Heaven’s precious children. Master has a message just for you: “Heartfelt Yu-Lan, my thanks to you for the lovely and expressive lines. I’m sorry that you have to face struggles in life, but know that this is all temporary. Our True Home is in Heaven, where only Love resides. Meanwhile, please pray for World Vegan. Mami Mizutori, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for UNDRR, explained during an online press briefing, that a drought in one part of the world could indirectly affect other areas through food shortages and rising prices. My friends say that I uplift the energy and mood wherever I go. That’s because I’m a happy vegan. Brighten up your surroundings by going vegan too! Here’s a simple recipe for making summer rolls. You’ll need a package of rice paper wrappers, an assortment of vegetables and a dipping sauce. Start by slicing things like cucumber, carrot, fried tofu and pineapple into matchsticks. Also, prepare some crunchy baby greens, avocado slices, blanched green beans or bean sprouts, and cilantro or mint. Dip a wrapper in a shallow bowl of warm water for a few seconds until it loses its stiffness, then set it on a countertop. Place small amounts of your ingredients in the center and finish it like a burrito. Fold in two opposite sides of the rice paper, bring up the bottom to cover the filling, and then roll to the top. Some people like to dip their summer rolls in a peanut sauce, while others prefer vegan hoisin sauce. The keywords to remember are experiment and have fun! Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe. Organic growers get funding to boost production. Woolworths is Australia’s largest supermarket chain with 995 stores across the country. In 2018, it established an Organic Growth Fund for fruit and vegetable farmers who want to go organic or increase their existing organic output. Recently, Red Plateau Organic Produce in New South Wales received a grant worth approximately US$373,000 to help recover from firestorm damage and the loss of many avocado trees. Bon Accord Organic Citrus in Queensland obtained about US$261,000 to expand its orchard and buy new equipment. In both instances, the Organic Growth Fund is investing in the future of domestic organic produce and giving these growers assurances that many stores will buy from them. Our delighted applause, Woolworths and fortunate farmers, on your win-win program. May the financial support lead to abundant harvests of nutrient-rich crops and a healthier Australian population, in Celestial jubilation. Auto industry leader seeks to reduce its carbon footprint. Volvo Cars and SSAB of Sweden have partnered to manufacture automobiles with carbon-free steel. Traditionally, coal has been the fuel to melt iron ore at steel mills, but the process generates excessive carbon dioxide – more than 3 billion tons in 2020. At its experimental steelworks called HYBRIT, SSAB has replaced coal with green hydrogen produced by electricity from wind farms and hydro dams. Volvo will purchase enough new steel to start building concept vehicles in 2021 while SSAB ramps up for mass production in 2026. Way to go, Volvo Cars and SSAB, on your exciting collaboration to reduce CO2 emissions and upgrade Sweden’s transportation sector. We pray that other countries will follow suit and remove coal from their energy mix, in the light of the Providence. Civic-minded youth on a mission to save lives. In India, as the population grows and temperatures rise, water is becoming scarce. Rishabh Prasobh saw ponds drying up in Bengaluru and wanted to learn about solutions. After participating in a United Nations training initiative, the resourceful adolescent had an idea. He began by installing a faucet aerator at his grandmother’s house. Because the device restricts water flow while regulating the perceived pressure, the woman’s next water bill was 30% less than before. This success encouraged Rishabh to recommend using flow restrictors at the building where he lives, two Marriott International hotels and his school. By the end of one year, the budding conservationist was responsible for saving 7 million liters of water. What a remarkable achievement, Rishabh Prasobh! Your pure heart and bright mind are helping to lay the foundation for a peaceful and prosperous future, in Heaven’s tender mercies. Coming up, Italian fashion company introduces vegan leather sneakers. We will take a moment to remember the billions of animals that perished during Australia’s bushfire crisis. We pray for the elevation of their souls and the awakening of humanity’s consciousness. More heart-warming News when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: having trouble finding bad thoughts. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Caring News for an Elevated World. Luxury fashion house debuts animal-free leather. Gucci, based in Italy, spent two years developing a new, eco-friendly material named Demetra. It consists of plant-based polyurethane, viscose and wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. The company says it uses a zero-scrap production process, and all wastewater is recycled. For summer 2021, Gucci launched its first collection of sneakers to use the novel textile – the Gucci Basket, Gucci New Ace, and Gucci Rhyton styles. The vegan shoes also incorporate organic cotton, reclaimed steel and repurposed polyester. In the future, Demetra will replace leather in Gucci handbags, apparel and accessories, as well as be made available to other companies. Kudos, Gucci, for leveraging your know-how to create vegan footwear and other products for the emerging golden age. We look forward to seeing a wholly sustainable approach to fashion as people aspire to tread more lightly on our shared planet, in the loving grace of the Providence. Bovine receives reprieve and a new life. When someone left a gate open, and about 40 cows escaped from a slaughterhouse in Southern California, USA, most were quickly rounded up. But one was on the run for two days and covered more than six miles before she was found. Fortunately, award-winning songwriter Diane Warren and animal rights activist Simone Reyes successfully petitioned the owner and the city of Pico Rivera for the animal’s freedom. Ms. Warren, a vegetarian, and Ms. Reyes, a vegan, arranged for the cow to become a resident at Farm Sanctuary, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, where she will spend the rest of her days. Our hearts are touched, Diane Warren, Simone Reyes and all others involved, for rescuing one of our frightened and innocent co-inhabitants. In elevating Divinity, may your exemplary actions kindle society’s collective compassion so that all animals may live in peace. When you laugh, your heart is smiling and your soul is dancing. Let’s lighten up with a joke called, “Foggy Daze.” Lucy and Fred had been married for 50 years and were still very fond of each other. They noticed, however, that they were becoming forgetful, so they decided to go for a checkup. Their doctor advised them to start writing things down so they wouldn’t forget. Later, at home that evening: “Honey, would you please get me a bowl of vegan ice cream? You might want to write it down.” “No, I can remember that. You want a bowl of vegan ice cream.” “Would you also add some vegan whipped cream for me? I think you better write it down.” “No, no, I can remember. You want a bowl of vegan ice cream with vegan whipped cream.” “Oh, one more thing. Would you put a nice cherry on top too? If you’d like, I’ll write it all down for you.” “It’s OK, Lucy, I got this. You want a bowl of vegan ice cream with vegan whipped cream and a cherry on top.” So, Fred went to the kitchen but was in there so long that Lucy fell asleep in her chair. When Fred finally returned, he handed his wife a plate of vegan fried eggs with vegan bacon. Confused, Lucy stared at the plate for a moment, then looked at her husband and asked: “Where’s the toast, Fred?” And now we have a heartline from disciples in Mongolia: Dear The Most Beloved Master and Supreme Master TV team, With Master’s Grace and Blessings, here in Mongolia people are more and more aware of the consequences of meat-eating and are turning to the vegan diet. There is lots of social media promotion to teach people how to cook vegan meals as well as the spiritual and health benefits. For the first time ever, a shelter for stray dogs has been created, and lots of young people do charity work at the shelter. Also, there is a “horse nursing home” established by two initiates. They rescue horses from slaughterhouses and provide them with a permanent home at the nursing home. Many people appreciate this initiative and give donations so that they can save more horses. Dearest Master, we, Your Mongolian disciples, love You very much and will always be there to support Your noble mission on this Earth, to guide humankind to be more loving and spiritual and not to harm our co-inhabitants, the animals. In today’s news, United Kingdom’s Royal Navy delivers relief supplies to volcano-affected Caribbean island, Western United States may be entering worst drought in 1,200 years, new ocean’s existence declared by National Geographic, solution discovered for higher density lithium batteries, mobile medical van provides healthcare to homeless in Sydney, Australia, vegan cooking academy opens in Colorado, United States, and electric carts to replace horse-drawn carriages at popular tourist attraction in Petra, Jordan. United Kingdom’s Royal Navy delivers humanitarian relief to Caribbean volcano victims. After an unexpected volcanic eruption in April displaced 14,000 residents of the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent, the UK’s Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship Wave Knight delivered 75 metric tons of emergency supplies to its capital of Kingstown in June. Basic necessities such as bottled water, food items, toiletries, and hygiene products were provided. The 139 pallets of relief goods were donated by the people of Barbados and the World Health Organization. Various fundraising and relief efforts within the Royal Navy have been prompted by the more than 500 servicemen and women from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The UK government has also contributed £800,000 to provide vital assistance to the people of Saint Vincent. The United Kingdom is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership for Caring Award, Shining World Wise Leadership Award, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection and Kindness. A high salute, UK’s Royal Navy, Barbados citizens and the World Health Organization, for your caring commitment to humanitarian causes. In Heaven’s beneficence, may natural disaster responses bring people together as one as we move towards a more compassionate world. US West to possibly experience worst drought in 1,200 years. British newspaper The Guardian recently spoke with United States scientists about the June 2021 heatwave in the Western United States that is breaking hundreds of temperature records and affecting the lives of approximately 40 million Americans. Salt Lake City, Utah, reached a temperature of over 41 degrees Celsius, while smoke plumes from fires in Arizona and Utah could be seen in Boulder, Colorado. Alarmingly, paleoclimatologist Dr. Kathleen Johnson warned that the current drought in the Western US could potentially become the worst “in at least 1,200 years,” and trigger extreme wildfires in summer and fall. Dr. Johnson asserted that the severe heat is “undoubtedly” due to greenhouse gas emissions from human activities and called for urgent action on climate change. Many thanks for the important information, The Guardian, Dr. Kathleen Johnson, and all participating scientists. May humanity quickly embrace the vegan lifestyle to cool down our planet, in God’s mercy. Up next, new ocean’s existence declared by National Geographic. Let’s now pause to appreciate the sports commentators, who give keen and exciting real-time commentaries of a game. We’ll return with more positive news after these messages here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: Must learn to live with newfound peace.Hallo, nice friends, I’m Sean the vegan Bighorn Sheep. Honestly, can you think of a better way to live than being vegan? When you do good, you feel good! So let’s start today and make our world a better place! There’s an easy and natural method for getting rid of hard-water mineral deposits on the end of your faucet. Just take half of a fresh lemon and set it on the end of the faucet. Next, place a small reusable plastic bag around the lemon and attach it to the faucet with a rubber band. After several hours, you can take out the lemon, wipe the faucet, and enjoy its new clean shine! Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now, the weather around the world. National Geographic declares existence of new ocean. The global non-profit National Geographic recently acknowledged a new ocean on the planet, called the Southern Ocean, which surrounds Antarctica. The water body has long been viewed by scientists as being unique and independent from the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans that surround it, but it was not formally recognized. The Southern Ocean contains unique water currents that cause it to be colder and less salty than its neighbors, which also helps it to store carbon deep within. Our appreciation, National Geographic, for helping to highlight the unique characteristics of the ocean that surrounds Antarctica. In the blessings of the Providence, may we all diligently strive to ensure our lifestyles leave minimal impact on the majestic and protective oceans of the world. Researchers discover method to allow higher density lithium batteries to last longer. Scientists from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany, as well as Boston University and Wayne State University, both in the United States, have discovered a way to stop lithium dendrites from forming on the anode of lithium batteries, allowing them to last at least twice as long. Lithium metal batteries have double the energy density of today’s commonly used lithium-ion batteries, however, the dendrite formation has so far limited their wider use. The new advancement uses a very thin carbon membrane with pores less than one nanometer in size, which makes the ions spread evenly across the surface of the anode, thus avoiding the issue. Way to go, all scientists involved, on your major advancement in battery technology. May your research help lead the way towards a fossil fuel-free future as we embrace renewables and the clean air they bring, in the grace of Heaven. Mobile clinic brings healthcare to the streets of Sydney, Australia. Every week, Street Side Medics and its team of volunteer doctors and nurses bring a mobile medical van to four locations in Sydney, to provide free primary healthcare to those experiencing homelessness. Founded by Dr. Daniel Nour, a 26-year-old resident at The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, the not-for-profit initiative has treated hundreds of vulnerable people with acute and chronic illnesses since its launch in August 2020. Blood tests, COVID swabs, vaccines and diabetes detection are some of the services offered. Dr. Nour explained, “Anyone who comes to us no matter who or from where or what their status is, we are more than happy to see them.” Thank you, Dr. Daniel Nour, all volunteers and Street Side Medics, for your compassionate endeavor which is truly admirable. In God's protection, may your altruistic work be blessed as you support our less privileged brothers and sisters in Australia with health and well-being services. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Street Side Medics, plus US$10,000 in humble support of your lives-improving effort. May angels always shield you and the people you help, in Heaven’s love.” Coming up, vegan cooking academy opens in Colorado, United States. We’ll just take a moment to embrace the beauty that surrounds us, even in the smallest things God has manifested. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more friendly news. Electric carts to replace horse-drawn carriages in ancient city of Petra, Jordan. The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority will replace all horse-drawn carriages, that provide rides to tourists, with 20 eco-friendly electric vehicles. The change was applauded by the Shining World Compassion Award recipient People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, (PETA), who has long campaigned for the humane treatment of animals in the area. It operates the only free veterinary clinic in the region. Our gratefulness, Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, for your compassionate consideration of the lovely horses. In today’s news, Iraqi government and United Nations World Food Programme plan to improve meal access for vulnerable school children, report states 91% of explosive weapons victims worldwide are civilians in cities, United Kingdom seeks to safeguard and restore nature nationwide, self-driving truck transports watermelons across the United States in test, asylum-seekers receiving training in fashion design in Paris, France, Indonesian startup launches Asia’s first whole-cut vegan steak, and Maine, United States outlaws selling of animal-tested cosmetics. School nutrition program in Iraq to be expanded. The Iraqi Ministry of Education and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) will be increasing the reach of Iraq’s national school feeding initiative. The four-year plan will eventually allow 3.6 million children to have greater access to meals at school by 2024. This year, 264,000 vulnerable students received meal assistance across 11 districts in Iraq. In 2020, schools involved in the program had a 97% attendance rate of students and a 99% retention rate. The meals are sourced from local businesses close to participating schools, thus benefiting small businesses and enhancing work opportunities in the area. Our bountiful thanks and appreciation, United Nations World Food Programme, Iraqi government and partnering organizations. May Allah’s boundless light shine on the talented, noble Iraqi children for all time to come. Study finds 91% of victims are civilians when explosive weapons used in cities. A report published by the United Kingdom-based non-profit Action on Armed Violence concludes that from 2011 to 2020, at least nine of the ten people killed or injured by explosive weapons in populous areas globally were civilians. Appallingly, the use of bombs and shells have caused over 262,000 private citizens casualties during this period. To urgently mitigate the devastating impact of explosive weapons on civilian lives and livelihoods, the assessment urges governments to commit to an international ban on their use in populated areas, including towns and cities. Many thanks for the vital report, Action on Armed Violence. In Heaven’s gentle embrace, may all children of God treat one another with kindness and goodwill in a peaceful world. Up next, United Kingdom seeks to safeguard and restore nature nationwide. You can be the change you are waiting to see. Just go vegan – for yourself, the animals and the planet! Here’s a quick computer tip for today. If you accidentally close an internet browser tab you didn’t mean to on your computer, there’s a shortcut to open up the last closed tab. Just press Ctrl + Shift + T simultaneously and the last tab that you had closed will reappear. Moreover, if you keep pressing this sequence of keys multiple times, the last several closed tabs in your browsing history will conveniently pop up! Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world! United Kingdom endeavors to restore and protect nature. The UK government has promised to take various steps to support the environment and amend a law so as to legally bind England to “halt the decline of nature” by 2030. Selling peat compost to gardeners in England will be outlawed by 2024, and 35,000 hectares of degraded peatlands will be revived within the next four years. Healthy peatlands have three times the carbon-storing capacity of forests, while damaged peatlands emit carbon into the atmosphere. Tree planting will also increase, with 7,000 hectares per year to be planted by 2024. Other measures include helping native animal species, such as beavers and wildcats, to be reintroduced in rural areas. The United Kingdom is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership for Caring Award, Shining World Wise Leadership Award, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection and Kindness. Way to go, noble United Kingdom, on your comprehensive plan to safeguard and increase your beautiful natural surroundings. In the blessings of the Divine, may your actions help bring about a rising abundance of plants and wildlife throughout your lands. Self-driving truck delivers produce across states in United States. Autonomous vehicle company TuSimple has recently transported watermelons from Arizona to Oklahoma using a self-driving truck. Two people in the truck operated it at the beginning and end of the trip. Other than that, the truck drove itself for over 1,500 kilometers. Contributing to this success was the truck’s use of light detection and ranging, or LiDAR, technology sensors developed by Australian tech firm Baraja. TuSimple says that the advantages of autonomous trucks include enhanced safety, fuel efficiency and faster delivery, as well as being able to help address the current shortage of truck drivers across the US. The firm plans to continue testing throughout this year and roll out its driverless fleet in 2024. Great work, TuSimple and partners! May technology like this bring further convenience and ease to communities worldwide, in Celestial upliftment. Migrants in Paris, France, learning fashion design. The Reprise Project provides training to asylum-seekers from Afghanistan and the Middle East currently residing in a center in a southern Paris suburb. They are creating fashionable men’s garments from used clothing. The project is a partnership between the migrants and French fashion students, who endeavor to soon provision professional sewing machines and material for the trainees. One of the participants, Bagher Husseini from Afghanistan, hopes his design of a pair of baggy jeans with fringed patches can be showcased on a French runway later this year. Such a promising initiative, the Reprise Project! It is very heart-warming to know that migrants are being given the training and opportunity to learn new skills in a new country. May people across the globe love and value each other without consideration of borders, in Heaven’s delight. Coming up, Indonesian startup launches Asia’s first whole-cut vegan steak. We will take some time to be grateful for modern synthetic clothing technology that keeps us warm throughout the year. We’ll return with more enhancing news on Supreme Master Television. Maine becomes sixth US state to ban sale of animal-tested cosmetics. The Governor of Maine, the Honorable Janet Mills, signed the act, prohibiting the sale of cosmetics that have been developed or manufactured using animal testing, into law on June 10, 2021. The bill was sponsored by Maine state representative, the Honorable Vicki Doudera, and becomes effective starting November 1, 2021, which is World Vegan Day. Violators will be liable for a fine of US$5,000 initially and thereafter US$1,000 per day. Maine joins California, Illinois, Nevada, Maryland, and Virginia in passing similar legislation, with Hawaii soon to follow. May God bless you and your co-citizens with abundant wealth, joy and wellness in this ethical and wise direction.” We want to chill you out with a laugh with a joke of the day entitled, “Good Question.” “Daddy, why is the Red Sea called red and the Black Sea called black?”“Uh… Sweetie, can you ask me something else?”“OK. How did the Dead Sea die?”“?!”And now we have a heartline from Si-Wing in Hong Kong: Beloved and respected Master, the Master to whom I’m very much indebted. If it were not for Master’s great Love and Compassion that gave me the initiation and led me to the path of liberation, I think I would still be following the conventions of society, busy with work and daily life, and would have done countless ignorant things. Once Master mentioned that She would not mind even if we forget Her, as long as our souls could all go to the Higher Realms. But Master, no matter where my soul will be, I’ll never forget You. I pray for the help of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to let me always remember You and let me be forever grateful to You. Whatever we do in this life, including the so-called helpful things to the world, they are nothing compared to what Master has done for all beings and the Universe, life after life. Master, I sincerely pray that Your Holy physical body stays safe and healthy, that You’re protected each and every moment, and that You’re having a smooth retreat through which You will gain perfect achievements. Meanwhile, I am grateful to all great souls for their loving care for the Earth. May humankind awaken and change as soon as possible; may a vegan world be realized without any further delay. Respectfully with joined palms, Si-Wing from Hong Kong True Si-Wing, We thank you for expressing your warm feelings and gratitude as a disciple of our deeply loved Supreme Master Ching Hai. In today’s news, our Beneficent Supreme Master Ching Hai presents Shining World Compassion Award to orangutan rescue organization, Arctic expedition researchers warn sea ice loss levels may have breached climate change tipping point, World Wide Web’s original source code sold in auction for charitable causes, Japanese company makes kid-friendly crayons from vegetables, indigenous Peruvian environmentalist honored for helping establish national park in Amazon, Violife Foods debuts vegan cheese variety pack for barbeques in United Kingdom, and roaming tiger finds new home in United States sanctuary. In Shining World Compassion Award News from Australia… The Sumatran Rescue Alliance (SRA) was established in 2020 by The Orangutan Project, the Centre for Orangutan Protection, and the Orangutan Information Centre. SRA has built a home for rescued orangutans in Sumatra, Indonesia, which is surrounded by an inviting forest enclosure. The center consists of a veterinary clinic, special socialization enclosures, food and storage facilities and a well. The first orangutans to call the site their home are Asto and Asih, a pair of adorable youngsters who were rescued from the island of Java. Leif Cocks, a world-renowned orangutan expert, the president of The Orangutan Project and a co-founder of SRA, spoke about the grave challenges that the primates face. “Orangutans are critically endangered, which means they are close to extinction without immediate action from us. The major threat is the loss of their habitat. Their rainforest home has been converted to unsustainable forms of monoculture such as palm oil and pulp paper, as well as exploitation from industries such as mining. There are other issues. Unfortunately, once the rainforest is destroyed, the orangutans simply become starving, and they enter local villages or the plantations trying to find food to survive, and they become a victim of being killed as agricultural pests, as well as opportunistically, people kill the mothers to take their young baby for the illegal pet trade.” Upon learning of the efforts of SRA to save these gentle beings, Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to the Sumatran Rescue Alliance, along with a US$10,000 loving contribution for your benevolent, lives-saving cause, with much love, gratitude and best wishes. May Heaven forever bless and safeguard you and the cherished orangutans you help, in Divine love.” Our Association members in Perth, Australia, were delighted to present the Award letter, crystalline plaque, financial gift from Master, as well as Her publications and DVDs to Leif Cocks, who graciously accepted them on behalf of the Sumatran Rescue Alliance. The Award letter stated, “This Award is presented in recognition of your exemplary efforts to end the illegal wildlife trade and care for inflicted animals. Your advocacy for protection, educational programs to raise awareness, and empowering locals with alternative income ensures a bright future for orangutans.” Mr. Cocks expressed his sincere gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai for the award and monetary contribution. “On behalf of The Orangutan Project, our wonderful partners, a great thank You for the award and the money that You’ve donated to realize the dream of the rescue center. On behalf of us, thank You very much. It’s greatly appreciated, and it will go a long way to helping the beautiful orangutans that share our planet. Thank You very much for this wonderful donation, and I can assure You it’s not only received with gratitude, it’s going to make a real, meaningful change on the ground, to so many orangutans as well as the other wildlife who share their habitat.” We joyfully congratulate everyone carrying out the noble work at the Sumatran Rescue Alliance, as well as salute the committed teams at The Orangutan Project, Centre for Orangutan Protection, and the Orangutan Information Centre. May these great apes be forever safeguarded, and may we conserve their natural habitat through wise stewardship of our Earth, including the life-saving vegan diet, in God’s abundant grace. For the full presentation of the Shining World Compassion Award to the Sumatran Rescue Alliance, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date. Arctic expedition scientists caution sea ice loss possibly signals point of no return for climate. Dr. Markus Rex, an atmospheric scientist who led the 389-day Arctic expedition on the German Research Vessel Polarstern between 2019 and 2020, warns that an irreversible tipping point for climate change may have been surpassed. Findings from the scientific mission reveal that the Arctic sea ice in Spring 2020 had retreated faster than ever recorded in history, and the amount of sea ice in the summer was only 50% compared to decades ago. As the disappearance of summer sea ice is one of the key indicators of global warming, Dr. Rex fears that crossing the point of irreversible change could lead to a domino effect for the rest of the planet. Many thanks, Dr. Markus Rex and all researchers involved, for sharing such important findings. May all governments quickly implement more climate protection measures and enact Vegan Law to save our Earth, in Heaven’s infinite brilliance. Up next, World Wide Web’s original source code sold in auction for charitable causes. We’ll now thank the landmine-detecting rodents, who bravely sniff out these explosive devices for humans to clear away and help provide a safer environment for all to live in. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more generous news. Vegan: We better take the chance!Hallo, virtuous viewers, it’s Franklin the vegan Dulit Frogmouth! The vegan journey of a thousand miles begins with a single plant-based meal. What are you waiting for? I have a gardening tip for us. If you are bringing a young new tree, such as a fruit tree, into your garden, you can take some steps to minimize the stress that the tree will experience from transplanting. First, make sure that the tree’s new location is appropriate, with the right amount of sun, correct depth in the ground, and a fitting soil type for your tree’s species. When moving the tree, avoid shaking out the soil, while keeping as many roots moist and intact as possible, especially the vital tiny ones at the ends. Please give plenty of water immediately after transplanting, and diligently afterwards. With extra love and care, the new tree will recover more quickly and thrive in its new home. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for your attention. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe. World Wide Web inventor auctions original source code to benefit charities. Sir Tim Berners-Lee of the United Kingdom recently auctioned a digital version of the original source code for the World Wide Web that he wrote between 1990 and 1991. The code was embedded into a new technology called a non-fungible token (NFT), which is now owned by the top bidder who paid US$5.4 million. The funds will be donated to charities selected by Sir Tim and his wife, Rosemary Leith. The token contains 9,555 lines of code, a digital poster and 30-minute visualization of the code as well as a letter written by Sir Tim that reflects on what he created. A high salute, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, for helping humanity advance through your remarkable invention. Thank you also for donating the auction proceeds to charities. May what you created continue to be further developed for the good of all beings on the planet, in Divine wisdom. Japanese company makes vegetable crayons for kids. Naoko Kimura, the founder of mizuiro inc., a product design and creation business, came up with the idea of vegetable crayons while working at home as a graphic designer and raising her child at the same time. Called Oyasai Crayons, the product uses rice bran wax and oil in its recipe, both of which are byproducts of the rice polishing process. In addition, discarded plant materials as well as produce that do not meet standards after harvesting are used to give colors to the crayons, and food-grade pigments are added to enhance the colors. The crayons are kid-safe and more sustainable compared to traditional crayons. Available in 10 colors, the crayons meet Japanese and European safety standards. Thank you, Naoko Kimura and mizuiro inc., for making kid-friendly crayons. May your creation inspire more child-focused companies to embrace earth-friendly alternatives for their offerings that are also safer for little ones, in Celestial radiance. Indigenous Peruvian activist wins prestigious environmental award for preserving Amazon rainforest. Liz Chicaje Churay, a 38-year-old leader from the Bora indigenous community, has been recognized with the Goldman Environmental Prize for South and Central America, for her vital role in the establishment of the Yaguas National Park in the Loreto Region of Peru in 2018. Located in the Amazon, the park not only protects the over 8,000 square kilometers of land but also the thousands of unique and diverse species of wildlife who live there. Ms. Chicaje worked tirelessly to organize support for the Yaguas National Park at the local, national and international levels. As the recipient of the prize, Liz Chicaje Churay delivered this message: “Keep putting your faith in the forest and the environment, which is the foundation of planet Earth.” Bravo and congratulations, Liz Chicaje Churay, on this well-deserved honor. Your commitment and dedication radiate as a reminder to protect our environment, in God’s generous love. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Happily present the Shining World Environmental Protection Award to Liz Chicaje Churay, with big praises and gratitude plus a thankful contribution of US$10,000 (if allowed) to support this heroic noble effort. May you and your people always be showered with Heavenly blessings.” Coming up, Violife Foods debuts vegan cheese variety pack for barbeques in United Kingdom. Wandering tiger finds haven at animal sanctuary. A 9-month-old Bengal tiger named India, who was seen roaming the streets of Houston, Texas, United States, has been safely found and is settling into his new forever home at the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in North Texas. Previously confined as a house pet, the 80-kilogram big cat can now run freely and explore his very own half-hectare open habitat with trees, a pool, and toys. The nonprofit sanctuary is a permanent abode for nearly 800 animals, of whom many have been rescued from animal factories, research facilities, exotic pet traders, and illegal zoos for example. Our earnest gratefulness, the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch and all involved. Wishing beautiful India a safe and joyous future. In Heaven’s boundless care, may we respect and love all the amazing animals with whom we share our Earthly home. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch and a humble contribution of US$12,000 with all love, best wishes and thanks. May God bless and protect you and all the animals under your care.” Nothing relieves tension faster than a hearty laugh. Please enjoy today’s joke entitled, “Ten Cups of Coffee.” Barry was at the café and just ordered his tenth cup of coffee. “Excuse me sir, don’t you worry you’ll have trouble falling asleep after so many cups of coffee?” “Oh, it’s always the same every night: I count to three and then I usually fall asleep.” “You count to just three?!” “Well, sometimes until half past three...” And now we have a heartline from Thijs in the Netherlands: Dear Supreme Master TV team, Can you give these two photos to Master to cheer Her up and support Her in Her heavy battle to save our planet? And to let Her know that we, as Her disciples, do our best in contributing our part, however small compared to Hers. The text in the photo of Krishna is from the Bhagavad Gita chapter 4, verse 7 and 8. I’m so grateful to Master that She gives us guidance in this turmoil time of Covid-19. She puts all the political events that happen in America and the Covid-19 pandemic in the right perspective. Supreme Master’s wisdom and insights give me tremendous peace of mind. I also learned about myself with how I reacted to President Trump before and after Master’s disclosures about President Trump. Now I can see his good heart and his loving personality. I feel ashamed that I was completely blind to his true nature. Master often mentions that people in this world are blind, deaf, and dumb. Now I can see that most journalists, talk show hosts, and comedians fall in that category of blind, deaf, and dumb. I look with completely different eyes to what they are saying or writing about President Trump or any other political or environmental issue. Most of the time, they are just biased. They bullied President Trump, ridiculed and mocked him, and made fun of him. This reminds me of the Bible when Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” This time, America crucified a son of God, although Mr. Trump isn’t aware that he’s here on Earth as an instrument of God. Thank You, Ultimate Master, for all Your sacrifice, Your infinite wisdom, and compassion. You are the lighthouse of this world, guiding us through this stormy weather to a safe harbor and rescuing our souls. Thank You for that. Dear Master, Happy Guru Purnima Day. You are my inspiration and beacon of Light. Thank You for all You do for the world, for me and for my family. I Love You. Best wishes, Thijs from the Netherlands Thoughtful Thijs, We are very touched that you are so considerately thinking of our Loving Master while She is in an intensive retreat to save our world. It is good to show our deep appreciation for everything that She has done for each and every one of us, the whole world and the whole Universe! She is so deserving!!! May God’s infinite Light shower upon you and the graceful Netherlands, Supreme Master TV team P.S. We rejoice to send you Master’s reply: “Pious Thijs, I thank you for the inspiring photos. I have indeed come to this planet many, many times to prepare for this final mission. I am now spending every waking moment and every ounce of merit towards the final ascension of souls back to their true nature and Home. I am deeply grateful to God for the help of all my initiates, and I send you much Love! May you and your intelligent Dutch co-citizens be spiritually elevated, in the tender embrace of the Providence.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineIt has been a pleasure to spend time with you on Noteworthy News. May peace and love be with you.

In today’s news, USAID financially supports post-disaster recovery in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, highly contagious African swine fever resurfaces in Korea, scientists in United Kingdom devise vegan spider silk material as potential plastics replacement, UNESCO and European Union project promotes urban renewal and youth employment through cultural preservation in Yemen, caring teen in United States declines US$40,000 university scholarship to benefit other students, Dutch company to soon offer fava bean protein, and animal activists in China save 68 dogs from dog meat festival. USAID provides post-disaster recovery assistance to Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will give approximately US$535,000 to help those in the Nghĩa Hành district of Quảng Ngãi province to overcome the damage done by floods caused by storms and typhoons at the end of 2020. Cash assistance of over US$500,000 will be given directly to 465 affected families. The remaining funds will be used to repair and reinforce local houses. The United States is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Thank you, USAID, for your generous donation. In the overwhelming love of the Divine, may the kind residents of Nghĩa Hành district be blessed with peaceful lives and abundance. African swine fever reappears in Korea. Two cases of African swine fever (ASF) were recently confirmed in Korea’s Gangwon Province, leading to the immediate, saddening slaughtering of all 401 pigs at one site and the placing of 170 similar facilities nearby under quarantine. Since the beginning of the outbreak in Korea in September 2019, the country has lamentably killed more than 450,000 pigs throughout the nation due to the virus. There is no vaccine for AFS, which is nearly always fatal to the pigs that contract it; the disease is hard to contain, spreading directly between the animals as well as from contaminated feed and equipment. We pray that this latest incident will be a wake-up call for the animal livestock industry and humanity. Let us support the transition of those working in animal factories to new livelihoods as people everywhere embrace plant-based foods for health and life preservation in Buddha’s grace. Up next, scientists in United Kingdom devise vegan spider silk material as potential plastics replacement. We are now going to thank the pattern designers for our curtain textiles that bring just the right aesthetic touch to our living spaces, offices, etc. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more exemplary news. Vegan: your seat is reserved in Heaven.Good day, gentle viewers, I’m Am Teelo the vegan Antelope. Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary? Embody compassion and adopt the vegan lifestyle. Here is a little wood painting and staining tip for you. If you plan on painting or staining wood, it is recommended that you wait a minimum of four hours before applying a second coat. This ensures that the first coat has enough time to absorb into the wood. If you notice pooling of the stain on the wood’s surface, this means that the first coat hasn’t had enough time to dry. Also, excess stain could cause unwanted slickness that is easier to slip on, while too-thick paint that isn’t dry yet might peel, or clump and crack, later on. So, using the right amount and a little patience will go a long way! Thank you for tuning in, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather. United Kingdom scientists create vegan spider silk substance as plastic alternative. A team of researchers led by Dr. Tuomas Knowles from the University of Cambridge, UK, has successfully created a biodegradable and environmentally friendly spider silk-like polymer film from soy-protein isolate (SPI). The researchers, who have been working for over a decade to understand how nature produces materials from proteins, describe the process as being similar to how a spider creates a web – a delicate fiber made from an aqueous protein solution that is then spun for strength. The team used SPI together with acetic acid and water to form a thin silk-like material. Xampla, a University of Cambridge spin-off company, is expected to bring the product to market later this year and hopes to use it to replace single-use plastics. What a brilliant idea, Dr. Tuomas Knowles, research team and Xampla. May innovations like yours inspire others to further explore plant-based technology, in Heaven’s guidance. UNESCO and European Union (EU) support urban renewal and youth development through culture promotion in Yemen. The EU is the generous funder of a UNESCO project that employs youth in Yemen’s urban areas to restore and preserve the country’s rich cultural heritage, which, in turn, promotes stability and social cohesion. The more than 2,500 young people participating in the program surveyed over 8,000 historical buildings in the cities of Sana'a, Aden, Shibam, and Zabid and conducted repairs on 151 of them. In May 2021, a two-day virtual conference celebrated the endeavor’s achievements. It also featured short documentary films on Yemeni culture made by talented directors of the Yemeni Film Factory, an initiative dedicated to assisting young men and women in accessing economic opportunities in the film industry. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Kudos, European Union, UNESCO and all participants. Through positive ventures, may the Yemeni youth help create a world of greater beauty, harmony and abundance in Allah’s loving light. Harvard-bound high school graduate donates scholarship to help other students. When Verda Tetteh, 17, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, United States, was awarded an additional scholarship of US$40,000 during her high school graduation ceremony, she requested that the money instead go to help a student or students attending a community college. Commenting on her decision, Verda said, “I’m excited to see who it helps and how that changes their life, so I am so happy that God gave me the strength to do that.” The brilliant student, who received other scholarships to attend Harvard University, came to the United States from Ghana as a child with her mother, Rosemary Annan. Ms. Annan graduated from a local community college at age 47 and many times works an 80-hour week to support her family. Bravo, Verda Tetteh, for your outstanding academic achievements and giving spirit. May you continue to pursue your love of learning and inspire many in God’s support. Coming up, Dutch company to soon offer fava bean protein. We’ll take a moment to appreciate the inspiring songs and music that comfort us with their heaven-like melodies. More supporting news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Vegan:Who is the handsome! Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Praiseworthy News for an Advancing World. Dutch company to produce vegan protein from fava beans. Meelunie, which specializes in manufacturing plant starches and proteins, will open a new processing facility next year in Hedensted, Denmark, for extracting protein from fava beans. The new vegan protein product will offer another alternative to soy, and fava beans can be grown in colder climates such as Denmark. Its facility will use unique technology developed after 17 years of research by the University of Copenhagen, that removes the bitter taste from fava beans and improves their digestibility. Great news, Meelunie, on your upcoming plant-protein production facility that will create health-enhancing protein from fava beans. In the love of the Providence, may your new offering soon be used to produce many new meat and dairy substitutes as the planet’s inhabitants rejoice over the ever-growing number of plant-based food choices. Animal activists save 68 dogs in China from slaughter. A group of animal advocates has saved 68 distressed dogs from a truck that was headed for the annual Yulin dog meat festival in Guangxi, China. According to activist Liang Jia, the rescue team stopped the vehicle and persuaded the driver to release the canines, who were apparently stolen companions by such indicators as healthy teeth. Imprisoned in rusty wire cages, the 68 dogs were exhausted and panting when found, as they had experienced a long trip without food or water. Terrified, many of them were in bad health and had eye infections. After the rescue, the dogs were transported to a temporary facility to heal and receive veterinary care before moving to a shelter supported by Humane Society International (HSI) , a Shining World Compassion Award recipient and a Shining World Protection Award laureate. Supreme Master Ching Hai has previously donated US$102,000 to HSI to support its work. Our tearful gratitude, Liang Jia, all activists involved and Humane Society International. In Heaven’s mercy, may we always treat all innocent animal brethren with love and respect for a kinder world. Let’s keep up a sunny outlook on life with a comical moment. This joke of the day is called, “Don’t Walk.” A policewoman noticed a teenager crossing the street at the wrong time. “Hey kid! You shouldn’t cross the street when the light says, ‘Don’t Walk’!”“But I’m not walking, officer. I’m running.”And now we have a heartline from Yasamin in Iran: Greetings to the Ultimate Supreme Master and all the team of the blessed and brilliant television channel of the inimitable Master. My son and I laughed a lot when Master’s animation aired, and my heart was filled with joy to see my son’s face was full of laughter, especially when Master threw off Her slippers and went to sleep. I was thinking how humble Master must be to make a comic animation about Herself, even though She is at the highest level in the Universe. I wish all of us humans could learn from Master and follow the teachings of the Holy Prophets who came down to Earth to teach us the way of love and compassion and help us avoid prejudice. Yasamin from Iran Joyful Yasamin, It was nice to read your heartfelt sentiments. The Supreme Master TV team joins you in wishing that humans learn from the teachings of all the great Masters, who have so generously and lovingly come down to our planet, since time immemorial, to teach us the Divine way of life. That is the only way we will be able to achieve Master’s goal, to see a peaceful world come very soon. May you and the clever country of Iran be uplifted spiritually. In the guidance of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), Supreme Master Television team P.S. Master replies and offers caring words of advice: “Lovable Yasamin and son, as I have said before, humility is one of the key qualities necessary to succeed on the spiritual path. A Master must set an example for Her disciples. Also, humor always helps disciples relax and be more receptive to the Divine teachings! I hope that many smiles will continue to accompany you along your spiritual journey! May Allah’s mercy be forever upon you and reverent Iran.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. In today’s news, international humanitarian relief organization strengthens support for Venezuelan migrants and refugees, United Nations entities seek immediate action to address famine risk in Ethiopia’s Tigray Region, study finds natural sounds calm mind and body, World Health Organization releases free yoga app, 10-year-old Russian boy sets pushup record, three-star Michelin restaurant in New York City, United States goes plant-based, and Estonia outlaws raising animals for fur. Global humanitarian organization assists Venezuelan migrants. A new US$264 million program by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) will provide increased support to Venezuelan migrants and refugees as well as host communities. People in 17 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean will receive the much needed assistance over 36 months. Areas to be focused on include offering healthcare access, income opportunities, psychosocial support, protection services and aiding integration into local society. The COVID-19 pandemic, associated lockdowns and border restrictions have exacerbated the perilous situation of the vulnerable migrants, many of whom have no way to earn income and are unable to meet basic needs like adequate food and protection. Dr. Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, said: “No one should be left unprotected and alone when in need of help.” Our grateful applause, IFRC. In the Providence’s benevolent grace, may all migrants and refugees soon greet brighter tomorrows in a kinder world. United Nations (UN) entities call for urgent action to mitigate famine risk in Ethiopia’s Tigray Region. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) are appealing for immediate measures to address acute food insecurity in the conflict-affected Tigray Region of northern Ethiopia. According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, more than 5.5 million people in Tigray and the neighboring zones of Amhara and Afar live with high acute or worse levels of food insecurity. In particular, over 350,000 people are in the “Catastrophe” category and two million are in the “Emergency” category. To avert the chance of imminent famine, the UN agencies urge for a cessation of hostilities, free access to the area, as well as a contribution of funds totaling nearly US$300 million to provide emergency food and livelihood assistance. Many thanks, FAO, WFP and UNICEF. In Celestial upliftment, may more stable lives soon await those in the Tigray Region with abundance and tranquility for all. Up next, study finds natural sounds calm mind and body. We are just going to thank the feng shui consultants, who show us how to create better living conditions in our homes and offices for enhanced physical, mental and spiritual health by harmonizing us with the environment. When we return, more leading news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Vegan leader: beautiful dream world.Hi, kind viewers, it’s Cameron the vegan Crested Barbet! Because I am vegan, I protect many, many beings. Come join me on this very worthwhile mission! If you take medicine from a bottle, there’s an easy way to keep track of whether or not you have taken it. Using a permanent marker pen, just outline a schedule on the medication bottle and add a check to it each time you finish taking a dose. Now you won’t have to worry about double dosing or missing a dose. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, weather from around the world. Study finds natural sounds benefit health. Dr. Rachel Buxton, a conservation scientist at Carleton University in Canada, conducted a meta-analysis of 36 studies, examining the effects of natural sounds, such as wind, water and birds, on health. When people listened to these sounds, their feelings of stress and annoyance, on average, decreased by 28%. Water sounds were the most beneficial in reducing heart rate, pain and blood pressure by a remarkable 23%. Amazingly, a more than 180% health improvement in terms of better mood and cognitive performance as well as other measures was found in groups that listened to sounds from nature. Thank you, Dr. Rachel Buxton, for your beneficial study. In Divine support, may we cherish and protect all natural areas around our beautiful Earth as they help us to feel calm and peaceful inside. Russian boy sets record for pushups. A 10-year-old boy from Russia named Ilman Khadzhimuradov recently set a record for pushups by performing 5,713 repetitions within three and a half hours, with the previous record being 4,784. Ilman trained vigorously prior to the event by running around 14.5 kilometers and performing 3,000 pushups daily. About 100 local residents watched the young man of strength achieve the feat, which took place at a sports complex in the Surgut district. Congratulations, Ilman Khadzhimuradov, for your remarkable act of might and endurance. May your example of diligence and hard work that helped you to achieve your amazing goal aid others to realize that anything we set our mind to is possible, in the blessings of Heaven. Coming up, three-star Michelin restaurant in New York City, United States goes plant-based. We will take a moment to pray for a peaceful world where no one flees their homeland for safety elsewhere. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Vegan chooser: Always a winner. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Outstanding News for a Wondrous World. Upscale restaurant in New York City, United States, converts to almost fully plant-based menu. After closing for over a year due to the pandemic, Eleven Madison Park (EMP), a three-star Michelin restaurant, and one of the most expensive in New York City, has reopened with almost a full vegan menu. Chef and co-owner Daniel Humm explained the reason for this momentous change saying: “We are thrilled to share the incredible possibilities of plant-based cuisine while deepening our connection to our homes: both our city and our planet.” The restaurant now offers an eight to ten-course plant-based tasting menu and with each meal sold, five more meals will be provided to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity. This initiative is being offered in conjunction with the non-profit Rethink Food. Bravo, Eleven Madison Park. May your noble change to a plant-based menu be a signal to other prominent restaurants around the world that vegan cuisine is the future of food, in Divine love. Estonia bans keeping animals for fur. The state recently became the 14th nation in the European Union to prohibit the raising of animals for fur. There will be a transition period with all such activity ending by 2026 at the latest. The move came after 12 years of discussions on the topic and extensive campaigning by Estonian animal rights activists. The United Kingdom government, which previously outlawed breeding animals for fur in 2003, is now examining whether to ban the import of fur as well. Currently, the UK allows fur from other countries to be sold, yet only 3% of the people in the United Kingdom actually wear it and 72% of citizens support further restrictions. Our commendation and appreciation, Estonia and United Kingdom, for your loving actions to protect our beautiful animal co-inhabitants. We pray that all nations will soon prohibit fur entirely to ensure our animal friends can live their lives in peace and dignity, in God’s protection. The key to looking young is a good laugh! Join us for our joke of the day entitled “Baby’s Voice.” Anthony came over to visit his friend Bobby one afternoon, when he saw Bobby with his baby brother, concentrated on doing something. “What are you up to?” “Oh, I’m just recording my baby brother’s voice.” “What would you do that for?” “Well, when he grows up, I’m going to play it for him and ask him what he was talking about!” And now we have a heartline from Ngọc Huệ in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam: On December 18, 2020, our Beloved Master shared with us Her beneficial insights on Covid-19, on Noteworthy News’ Fly-In News titled “U.S. President Donald Trump is Good for the World.” This is Heaven’s screening based on the law of Cause and Effect, which is very heartbreaking but necessary. I hope that Supreme Master Television continues to broadcast this kind of information, so that humanity can understand and switch to the more compassionate diet. Also, I humbly hope that the presidents, the leaders in the world, will turn to peace, so that all the tragic situations will never happen again. I also hope that the training to kill enemies in the army will be stopped forever. We don’t need to prepare to kill anyone anymore. On Between Master and Disciples that day, Master mentioned that we disciples should meditate to help to clean the world, for the liberation of ourselves and our nine generations. I am very impressed by Your advice saying that we should not be negative to Master and other initiates, if we don’t want to cause bad effects to ourselves and our nine generations. If possible, we should support Master in our hearts. Your lecture this time was excellent, and I liked it very much. Via this heartline, I would like to encourage those who didn’t see it to watch the program titled: “We Are Transparent in the Eyes of the Universe.” I lovingly send this heartline to Master and the Supreme Master Television team. Ngọc Huệ from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) Considerate Ngọc Huệ, Our appreciation for your heartline. We join you in hope and prayer for peace on Earth and thank you for your caring words and advice. In today’s news, New Zealand sends relief aid for refugees in Bangladesh and Myanmar, research from Germany shows freshwater systems could take millions of years to recover, United States engineers develop robot dog to help rescuers, Australian study shows greenery around schools enhances children’s academic performance, conservationist in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, wins prestigious award for saving endangered pangolins, leading TV news channel reports about animal livestock industry’s damage to the planet, and rare seahorse sighted in UK waters. Bangladesh and Myanmar receive humanitarian assistance from New Zealand. The New Zealand government is donating US$4 million to support United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations in Bangladesh that aid refugees and their host communities. The funds will benefit 1.3 million vulnerable people in the country, including programs for women and girls. In addition, US$2 million will assist 336,000 conflict-affected people in Myanmar. The Honorable Nanaia Mahuta, New Zealand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, who announced the total US$6 million fund, also called for an end to the strife in Myanmar and a return to civilian rule. New Zealand is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Peace, and a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Climate-Change Mitigation, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Earth Conservation, Earth Protection, Earth Guardian, and Earth Restoration. Thank you, New Zealand, for your wholehearted help to our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh and Myanmar. May they find peace and stability to rebuild their lives, in Heaven’s blessings. Humans’ harmful effect on freshwater ecosystems could take millions of years to undo. International researchers, led by the Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany, have discovered that even if the destructive biota human activity were to stop today, it could take millions of years for freshwater ecosystems to recover. The researchers studied fossilized and living gastropods, which are invertebrate animals including slugs and snails, and determined that their current rate of extinction is 300% greater than that of the mass extinction that occurred when the dinosaurs were eliminated. Following the asteroid strike that marked that period, it had taken over 12 million years for ecosystems to stabilize. Thank you, international researchers, for your sobering study. We pray that all agricultural and economic systems will soon switch to sustainable vegan models as the quickest way to reverse the loss of life, in Divine compassion. Up next, United States engineers develop robot dog to help rescuers. Let’s pause for a little while to appreciate the ballet dancers, who represent beauty, grace, and expressiveness through motion. We’ll be right back with more helpful news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: An instinctive response.Respectful viewers, I am Sherwood the vegan Black & Rufous Elephant Shrew. People say I have keen and original insights. Want to enhance your own intuition? Switch over to a wholesome vegan diet like I did! I have a handy tip today. Did you know that you can make certain foods in your pantry last longer by storing them in your refrigerator or freezer instead? For example, nuts and cold-pressed oils such as sunflower oil don’t have a very long shelf life and should be refrigerated. So should whole-grain flours, since they contain bran and germ, which have oils that can quickly go bad. On the other hand, germ and bran are removed from all-purpose flours, therefore these can stay in the pantry. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around the globe. Robot dog could help rescuers see through walls. A University of Florida research team in the United States, led by Dr. Eric Jing Du, is developing a robotic dog that will have the ability to enter buildings and quickly create 3D models of them so that firefighters and other rescuers can effectively see through the walls. The models are then relayed to the emergency personnel via augmented reality goggles, effectively giving them the ability to better navigate through dangerous environments such as when there has been a fire or earthquake. The technology could also be used by civil engineers who need to inspect structures after a disaster. Our applause, Dr. Eric Jing Du and team, for your high-thinking idea to improve the safety of others. We wish for the successful use of your robot to protect lives, in Heaven’s grace. Study in Australia shows greenery around school enhances academic performance. A study of 851 primary schools in the Greater Melbourne area analyzed the correlation of students’ test scores with exposure to greenery and traffic-related air pollution. The five areas of assessment were reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy. The researchers found that students in greener areas with low traffic levels had higher scores in reading, numeracy and grammar, while higher exposure to traffic-related air pollution was linked to poorer test performance. Thank you, researchers, for highlighting the need for green spaces around schools to boost students’ learning experience. May your study encourage building planners and governments to invest in healthier educational environments for our precious children, in God’s loving guidance. Aulacese (Vietnamese) environmentalist receives prestigious award. The 2021 Goldman Environmental Prize for Asia was recently awarded to Nguyễn Văn Thái, founder of Save Vietnam’s Wildlife. Mr. Nguyễn was honored for his organization’s exceptional efforts in rescuing almost 1,600 pangolins from the multi-billion-dollar illegal wildlife trade between 2014 and 2020. Pangolins are not only critically endangered, they are also the most trafficked animal in the world for their flesh and scales. Mr. Nguyễn and his team’s diligent activities, that cover 330,000 acres of forest at Pù Mát National Park, have resulted in an 80% decline in illegal poaching there. Rescued pangolins are rehabilitated before being released back into the wild and monitored using drone technology. Mr. Nguyễn also helps to raise the public’s awareness on the plight of the gentle pangolins. Congratulations, Nguyễn Văn Thái, on your award and Heaven bless your noble heart. May the innocent pangolins and all wildlife species be evermore safeguarded, in Divine mercy. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gladly present the Shining World Compassion Award to Save Vietnam’s Wildlife, plus a US$15,000 humble contribution in support of your heartfelt work to protect the shy, sweet and defenseless pangolins, with love and best wishes for continuing success, in Heaven’s mercy.” Coming up, leading TV news channel addresses animal meat industry’s damage to the planet. We’ll take a short pause to watch people dance to the rhythmic Dominican Bachata, one of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritages of Humanity that belong to the Dominican Republic. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more assuring news. Vegan: Because we protect the planet. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Noble News for a Peaceful World. Major international news channel airs story about meat and the environment. A long-snouted seahorse, also known as the spiny seahorse, was sighted off the British southwest coast near the port city of Plymouth. The Ocean Conservation Trust has been restoring seagrass meadows along the coastline and raising awareness about the environmental importance of seagrass beds. They are home to a host of marine wildlife and absorb 35 times more carbon dioxide than forests, holding it for thousands of years. The Ocean Conservation Trust’s Development Officer Mark Parry, who spotted the seahorse, said: “…it was humbling to experience this rare seahorse sighting, as it highlights the significance of what we’re trying to do with our seagrass restoration work.” Bravo, Ocean Conservation Trust, for your dedicated work. May our glorious oceans and marine life someday be allowed to flourish 100%, in the care of the Providence. Some say laughter is the best medicine, so let’s have a good dose with a joke of the day called, “Being and Nothingness.” A philosopher was sitting at a vegan cafe, revising his draft on “Being and Nothingness.” As he decided to place another order, he said to the waitress: “May I order a cup of coffee, please, with no vegan cream.” “I’m sorry, Sir, but we’re out of vegan cream. How about with no vegan milk?” And now we have a heartline from Han-Yin in Taiwan, also known as Formosa: Dear Beloved Master and Supreme Master Television team, I was initiated in 1991. When I read Master’s teachings and watched “Between Master and Disciples” on Supreme Master TV, Master used to say that God is always blessing all sentient beings and the initiates through visible and invisible beings, such as animals, mountains, rivers and stars. Recently, I had a chance to witness that. One day, my mother cooked rice and vegetables into a porridge. After I took a bowl of that, what was left behind at the bottom of the pot was a little bit of thickened broth forming the shape of a heart. I was so moved upon seeing that even the hair on my flesh stood up. I am very grateful to Master for Her care and Blessings over the past 30 years. Now, my body is failing. I shall leave this world soon. I believe that Master will take me to the New Spiritual Realm. Thank You, Master. With gratitude, Your disciple, Han-Yin from Taiwan (Formosa) Wise Han-Yin, We thank you for reminding us of the constant blessings and miracles we are so fortunate to receive as we journey ever closer to our Godly Home, all by the Grace of Supreme Master Ching Hai. May the Heavens shine down on you and bountiful Taiwan (Formosa), bringing good fortune and abundance. In Buddha’s Love and Blessings, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Master embraces you with Her reply: “Wholesome Han-Yin, yes, I will. After 30 years, I trust you know Master Power will be there to ensure you do not get lost on your journey to your True Home. Much Love and may the Heavenly Beings uplift your spirit and body with wellness and also keep the courageous Taiwanese (Formosan) people well and safe.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineIt’s been a joy to spend time with you on Noteworthy News. May beauty and Truth accompany you on life’s journey.

In today’s news, Germany provides humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza, astronomers discover planet beyond our solar system, community in Peru rebuilds ancient footbridge made of grass, Dutch company to make batteries smaller while boosting capacity, religious and charitable groups in India care for vulnerable citizens, company in United States creates fermented plant-based comfort foods, and Russian sailors rescue lost dog from Arctic ice. Palestinians get help from abroad, satisfying basic needs. Germany recently increased its humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza for a total of more than €50 million so far this year. Most of the funding is for distributing emergency rations to over 1.4 million individuals through the World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Financial support is also going to international agencies such as the Red Cross, coping with the coronavirus pandemic. Germany is a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Wise Governance laureate. Your generosity gladdens our hearts, Germany! We pray that the Palestinians will soon reconstruct their damaged buildings and find solace in the comforting love of Allah. Newly discovered celestial body has a substantial atmosphere. Astronomers from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the University of New Mexico in the United States have detected a surprising planet 90 light-years from Earth. Because it is beyond our solar system and revolves around a red dwarf sun, TOI-1231 b is technically an exoplanet that compares in size and density with Neptune. Scientists believe it to be gaseous, not solid, and estimate an average temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. That is relatively cool for a small exoplanet and suggests the possibility of cloud formations containing water. Future studies will be needed to determine what elements are present and the circumstances that formed the orb. Well done, high-tech stargazers! We appreciate all astronomers who study the universe, awakening us to the wonders of God’s magnificent creation in Heavenly splendor. Up next, community in Peru rebuilds ancient footbridge made of grass. Let’s take a moment to thank the geotechnical engineers who evaluate the interaction of earth materials such as soil, rock and groundwater with foundations, retention systems and other civil engineering works. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more elucidative news. Vegan = true noble lady.Good day, compassionate friends! I’m Tito, the vegan Leatherback Sea Turtle. Do you want to know the secret of my inner peace? My vegan lifestyle ensures that no one gets hurt! Here is a helpful tip for you on brushing your cat or dog companion’s fur. First, cut out a piece of pantyhose the same size as the head of your brush. Next, lay it on top and poke the wire pins through. Now, with the nylon at the base of the bristles, you can groom your furry friend as usual. When you have finished, simply remove the pantyhose, and the accumulated hair will come off with it. Thank you for your attention and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather. Area residents replace Incan rope bridge. The Q’eswachaka spanned the Apurimac River in the Cusco Region of Peru for over 500 years. It survived the passage of time thanks to regular maintenance by family groups who weaved new grass ropes and mats each year. But COVID-19 precautions prevented the restoration activities in 2020, and the structure collapsed in March 2021. Recently, members of the Huinchiri community determined to rebuild the historic 30-meter footbridge, working from both sides of the ravine until they met in the middle. The knowledge, skills and rituals related to the annual renewal of the Q’eswachaka were inscribed by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013. Three cheers for the traditional Peruvian artisans! We celebrate your achievement, which reconnects villages as well as the past with the future. May you enjoy rich and meaningful lives in Heaven’s radiant smile. Inventors evolve portable energy supplies. A Dutch company called E-magy is developing a battery that could hold up to 70% more energy and last longer than a conventional dry cell by using silicon instead of graphite as the active anode material. Although silicon costs more, the new design is intriguing because it would allow batteries to be much smaller and emit less carbon dioxide. The design has passed initial tests, and if it is proven to be successful, E-magy plans to build a factory in the Netherlands by 2023. Production would focus on supplying batteries for new cars, but manufacturers could adapt the technology for powering smartphones, e-bikes, laptops and other mobile devices. Congratulations, E-magy, on your promising innovation! We pray that humanity will always have the wisdom and compassion to apply its high-tech advancements in peaceful and constructive ways. Mosques, gurdwaras and charities help vulnerable individuals survive the pandemic. India’s second COVID surge has seen hospitals running out of space and supplies as more people need assistance. Many patients have posted their needs on social media, asking for spare beds and oxygen tanks. Religious and charitable groups have responded with impartial kindness and generosity. For example, the Jahangirpura mosque in Vadodara converted its worship space into a 50-bed health center. Members of another mosque in Delhi have been distributing oxygen tanks to those who have difficulty breathing. A Sikh group in Ghaziabad has reportedly delivered oxygen to more than 7,000 infected people. Charity organization Sahara Aalhad has been handing out meals in communities afflicted with other illnesses and food insecurity. Our profound appreciation, compassionate instruments of Heaven’s mercy! May India’s citizens be blessed with the fortitude to endure their hardships in the protection of the Divine. Coming up, company in United States creates fermented plant-based comfort foods. We will take a moment to say a prayer for someone we love but cannot be with. May they feel our long-distance oneness and support. More wonderful news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan = because we protect the defenseless. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Meaningful News for a Thriving World. Start-up launches vegan versions of all-time favorites. US-based Prime Roots is on a mission to revolutionize protein and make it easier for people to adopt plant-based diets. Co-founder and CEO Kimberlie Le realized that she could use a Japanese fungus called koji to create sustainable, whole-food meat alternatives with the protein, taste, and texture people want. One of Prime Roots’ first products was vegan lobster ravioli. This was followed by vegan bacon, available in several enhanced flavors. The company then debuted a range of ready-made meals, including plant-based Chicken Florentine and plant-based Sausage Paella. Recently, the innovative firm unveiled four kinds of vegan mac and cheese – Lobster, Bacon, Bacon & Green Chile, and Buffalo Chicken. We heartily commend your delicious achievements, Prime Roots! You are in the vanguard of delivering nutritious foods that positively impact the planet. May your business continue to grow in blessings of the Providence. Missing canine is spotted and retrieved by an icebreaker crew. A one-year-old Samoyed named Aika had strayed from her caregivers during a walk around the village of Mys Kamenny in north-central Russia. For more than a week, there was no sign of the pup. Then, Russian sailors aboard the Alexander Sannikov sighted a fluffy white dog on the Arctic ice, limping toward their ship. The crew lowered a set of steps and encouraged Aika to climb up. Once she was aboard, the ship contacted the village, and residents notified Aika’s family. The icebreaker summoned a hovercraft to transport the exhausted animal back to Mys Kamenny, where the furry angel rejoined her human companions. A warm round of applause for the crew members of the Alexander Sannikov! In Celestial delight, your compassion in action undoubtedly saved a little dog’s life and mended a family’s broken heart. Laughter is contagious, so share the fun with the joke of the day entitled “Fine Dining.” A fancy new vegan restaurant opened, and Ms. Bassett decided to go there for dinner. She enjoyed it so much she returned the following evening. But it was not the same this time, and she summoned the waiter. “Waiter!” “Yes, ma’am?” “This vegan beefsteak is much smaller than the one I received last night when I had dinner here. How do you explain the difference in size?” “Where were you sitting last night, ma’am?” “Why should that matter? I was by the window there.” “The kitchen serves larger portions to patrons sitting by the window because it’s good advertising.” ?! And now we have a heartline from Joseph in Canada: I am very grateful to the Supreme Master TV team, and thank you for your dedication and sacrifice for World Vegan, World Peace. Thank You, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai, for all that You do and for the everyday World Vegan meditations. I am very grateful and thank You for Your continued effort, making World Vegan reality manifest with flying colors all around. It is very obvious at this stage, COVID-19 lacks love. Let’s send love to COVID-19. When many people send love via prayer, it is like many buckets of love coming down continuously over these little organisms, and that is the best ever Blessed Medicine of God unleashed, transforming all that has been aimed for. Every person is a large community of 20 billion or so organisms. If we send love via prayer to an individual and all COVID-19, it would be like dumping buckets of love over them continuously. Twenty billion organisms as one person sending love to one little organism; that is a lot of love to receive. Eventually, COVID-19 receives the love and feels the state of Beingness within. Here all hatred and revenge no longer exist and are replaced with Joy of Beingness. All organisms in a state of Beingness just live along in their environment with harmony, and when their time is up, all return back to the Light where they come from, and the conclusion is All Beings live together Happily forever after, feeling forever Blessed. I am an old man from Victoria, Canada. I never knew what Love is until I met Supreme Master Ching Hai on a cassette tape. Since then, I do feel Her Love, and that makes me cry. Luckily, I don’t have to wear makeup... Being with God. Joseph from Victoria, Canada Thoughtful Joseph, Thank you for writing to us from the hospitable country of Canada. We pray for the well-being of all during the pandemic, so humanity may soon return to a life of normalcy. In a world where we can be anything, let us be Love incarnated, so we may be able to conquer all things in life with determination. May you and abundant Canada always know the immeasurable kindness of the Providence, Supreme Master TV team P.S. We are delighted to forward Master’s reply to you: “Loving, caring and humorous Joseph, we will continue doing all we can to manifest Heaven here on Earth, so all beings can enjoy a peaceful stay while searching for the Truth. Join us also as we pray daily for World Vegan for our planet to be uplifted and for all beings to return to their compassionate, benevolent nature. May you and the friendly Canadians be blessed in the Divine’s magnificence.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. In today’s news, three African nations to receive €20 million in European Union funding to aid vulnerable, avian flu outbreak in wild birds occurs in China, world’s fastest artificial intelligence supercomputer launched in United States, Honduras gains funding to improve drinking water accessibility, eighty-one-year young bonsai master continues to share artistry with world, survey finds vegans in United States happier than meat-eaters, and French man forms close friendship with rescued pigeon. European Union (EU) to provide humanitarian aid to refugees and vulnerable people in Algeria, Egypt and Libya. The EU will send €20 million in financial assistance to support the vulnerable, crisis-affected individuals in these three countries. The funds will help disadvantaged persons in Libya, Sahrawi refugees in Algeria, and refugees along with asylum seekers in Egypt in areas of need that include basic essentials, healthcare, protection, shelter and access to education. We celebrate and applaud your compassionate efforts, European Union, for your tireless, ongoing support of those in need. May Allah forever bless these individuals in Libya, Algeria, and Egypt with abundance and comfort. Thousands of wild birds in China die from bird flu. Over 4,000 wild birds in China’s Hongjiannao National Nature Reserve in Shaanxi province recently succumbed to the H5N8 strain of avian flu. Officials quickly disinfected the area to help stop its spread. The recent outbreak follows six outbreaks that have already occurred this year among birds in the nation, as well as the first case of a human, a 41-year-old man, contracting the H10N3 bird flu. The National Health Commission stated that it expects the chance of a large-scale epidemic of the H10N3 avian flu to be “extremely low.” We pray the souls of the gentle birds rest peacefully in Heaven and that the gentleman recovers quickly. In the grace of the Divine, may all people swiftly switch to the vegan diet to ensure good health is enjoyed by all beings on the planet. Up next, world’s fastest artificial intelligence supercomputer launched in United States. We pause to thank the surgical pathologists, who are medical doctors specializing in evaluating tissue removed during surgery to help diagnose diseases. We’ll return with more high-thinking news after this message here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan=welcome to Heaven.Hallo, charming viewers, I’m Emily the vegan Emu Chick. I turn heads since I turned vegan. You should too, then we’ll be a good pair! I have an easy tip on how you can use a rubber band to hold up your phone in your car. Simply loop a rubber band through your A/C vent in your vehicle. You can open up a paperclip or safety pin to help you thread it through. Next, wrap both ends of the rubber band around your phone to hold it in place. Now you won’t have to hold your phone while looking at directions. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world! United States lab inaugurates world’s fastest artificial intelligence supercomputer. The National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) in the United States recently launched an extremely fast supercomputer called the Perlmutter. It is named after Berkeley Lab astrophysicist Dr. Saul Perlmutter, a co-recipient of the 2011 Nobel Physics Prize. The system is 20-times faster than the previous version and will allow calculations to be performed within hours instead of weeks. The Perlmutter will help scientists and engineers move forward in almost all fields, including a project that is mapping the entire visible universe, spanning 11 billion light-years. The system is capable of performing 3.8 quintillion floating-point operations per second. Congratulations, National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center, on the successful launch of your world-improving supercomputer. May its existence and the work it performs help to usher in a future of further peaceful global scientific collaboration, in God’s loving guidance. International development financing organization helps Honduras better drinking water access. The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will provide a US$45 million loan to fund the Potable Water and Sanitation Program in Honduras. Thirty-one thousand households in rural areas and towns of up to 30,000 residents will benefit from having new and better basic facilities. This will improve the quality of life and water security, especially for vulnerable communities, by enhancing climate change resilience. There are two major parts of the program: US$38.6 million will be allocated to build new drinking water and sewage systems and sanitary solutions. In addition, US$3.2 million will be used to strengthen the planning, monitoring and technical abilities at all government levels to improve the systems’ continuity. Thank you, Inter-American Development Bank and Honduras, for supporting socio-economic development to improve lives. May the gentle Hondurans enjoy peace and have all basic necessities met, in Celestial abundance. Legacy of bonsai master continues to grow. Eighty-one-year young Japanese world-renowned bonsai expert Masahiko Kimura began his 11-year apprenticeship under a bonsai master when he was just 15. Bonsai is the art of growing ornamental trees or shrubs that are purposely kept small. As Mr. Kimura began to work independently, his designs were not immediately accepted because they did not always adhere to traditional rules. One of his most famed bonsai, considered a sculptural masterpiece, balances on two pieces of interlocking slate upon which a miniature mountain forest grows. Nowadays, Mr. Kimura is recognized as one of the greatest bonsai masters in Japan and the world, and his students have gone on to win acclaim. He continues to keep the tradition of bonsai alive through exhibitions, demonstrations, and writing. Our appreciation, Masahiko Kimura, for the exquisite beauty that you create and so graciously share. May your living masterpieces bring inspiration and joy to many, in Heaven’s upliftment. Coming up, survey finds vegans in United States happier than meat-eaters. We’ll take a moment to be grateful for the miracle of human life, which the Venerated Lord Buddha said is hard to obtain. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more valuable news. Vegan = you are just brilliant! Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Loving News for a Splendid World. New study shows vegans happier than meat-eaters in United States. According to research published by Tracking Happiness, an organization dedicated to helping people understand and improve their happiness, vegans are cheerier than meat-eaters. In addition, the survey, which had 11,537 respondents, found that happier people are more likely to adopt a vegan diet. On a scale from one to ten, meat-eaters scored an average happiness rating of 6.8, while vegans reported an average score of 7.2. Mimi Bekhechi, vice-president of PETA International Programmes, commented, “It’s no wonder vegans are happier. By sparing animals atrocious suffering, helping to save the planet, and improving their own health, vegans can enjoy peace of mind and a clean conscience.” We are delighted by your findings, Tracking Happiness, and send our appreciation. May such information help more people soon transition to the more joyful and sustainable vegan way of life, in the support of the Providence. Rescued pigeon and French man share strong bond. Eighty-year-young Xavier Bouget of Brittany, France, has a best friend, a white pigeon named Blanchon. They do everything together, whether riding a bicycle, fixing things in the workshop, going on shopping trips or watering the garden. Their close relationship began when Mr. Bouget saw a tiny pigeon fall to the ground. After telling his wife about the incident, she instructed him to go back and retrieve the bird. Since that time, the duo have become inseparable. Mr. Bouget shared that for any human to befriend an animal, “You just need to be patient, to understand how they live and adapt to their life, because they will adapt to yours.” Our gratitude, Xavier Bouget, for your kind heart to help an innocent being in need and, Mrs. Bouget, for your wise advice. May Blanchon have many more joyous years ahead with her human friend, in God’s immense love. Please take it easy and laugh with us at this joke of the day called, “Teeth Check Trick.” Sandra, a brain wave technician, was instructed to ask patients to smile right after their operation to make sure their facial nerves still functioned. But as she felt a bit strange to request this right after they had had brain surgery, a colleague suggested Sandra ask the patients to show her their teeth instead. Relieved to have this new, more appropriate phrase, Sandra said to the next patient: “Mr. Smith, show me your teeth, please.” “I don’t have them, ma’am. The nurse does.” And now we have a heartline from Sadhwi in Nepal: Namaste! Beloved Master, many Salutations. United Kingdom donates urgently needed COVID-related medical supplies to Nepal. The UK recently delivered to Nepal 260 ventilators and 2,000 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE), which were accompanied by two health experts. The pair will assess how Britain can additionally aid Nepal with its swell of COVID-19 infections. Previously, the UK has supported Nepal by providing funds for a £180,000 oxygen generation plant at the Nepal Police Hospital, thus helping to save 150 lives daily. Other assistance from the UK has included sending epidemiological experts, developing warehouses for vaccine supplies, as well as providing medical and personal protective equipment to places with urgent need. The UK government has said it will continue to provide further support to Nepal. The United Kingdom is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership for Caring Award, Shining World Wise Leadership Award, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection and Kindness. Our sincere gratitude, United Kingdom. May Divine grace be upon the affected Nepalese people to give them much love and comfort as we pray for a brighter and safer future. NASA and ESA telescope captures image of two galaxies merging. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) from the United States and the European Space Agency (ESA) Hubble Space Telescope recently recorded a picture of the IC 1623 galaxy pair merging. The image was created by combining camera observations taken with eight different filters ranging from ultraviolet wavelengths to infrared. It shows exceptional detail of the final stages of the converging process that will take hundreds of millions of years to complete and results in new star formations. The system is located about 275 million light-years away from Earth, and is within the Cetus constellation, which is the fourth largest constellation in the sky and neighbors Pisces, Aries and Aquarius. Congratulations, NASA and ESA, on recording the fascinating image of the merging of two galaxies. In the benevolence of Heaven, may your research help us to understand the expansiveness of God’s creation and appreciate the diversity of the Universe. Up next, volunteers teach women migrants and refugees bike riding in Australia. We’ll now pause to thank the safety goggle producers, who ensure that one of the most vulnerable organs, our eyes, are protected from dust, chemicals and even virus particles. I’m Teagan the vegan Tufted Deer, and I believe you have a compassionate heart. Can you help me and my fellow animals by going vegan? Here is a do-it-yourself tip on how to make a charging drawer that will hide all the wires from view. You will need to cut a small hole in the back of the drawer where the cord from the power strip can go through. Next, place the power strip in the drawer where you can plug in your small electronics easily. Make sure enough of the cord from the power strip is pulled into the drawer so that it can open and close properly. Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe. Volunteer program in Australia teaches women migrants and refugees bike riding. An initiative in Canberra, Australia called Girls on Bikes has been teaching female migrants and refugees how to ride a bike. The free course has been running since 2017 and has so far enabled 150 women to gain the joyful skill of cycling as well as make friendships along the way. Every Sunday for five weeks, volunteers meet with course participants during which time they gain such abilities as maintaining balance. Eventually, they are able to ride on their own. Enrollees also get a free bike and helmet at the end of the classes. Way to go, Girls on Bikes team, for your loving program to help migrant women and refugees learn the fun skill of bike riding. In the love of the Providence, may your caring efforts make a lasting impression of selflessness in the minds of your community as we strive to spend our lives serving others. Malta to send wildflower seeds to people for planting. The Maltese government will send 180,000 households packets of wildflower seeds to plant to help preserve the habitats of pollinators. Each packet contains a mix of native flower species, namely chamomile, red corn poppy, sweet alyssum along with instructions on how to care for them. The seeds will continue growing each year after producing their own seeds. The wildflowers also provide pollen, which is a valuable food source for pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies. Over 35% of the world’s food supply relies on pollinator animals. Our hats off, Maltese government, on your wise endeavor to help your kind citizens support nature. In the radiance of Heaven, may such projects spread throughout the world as we lovingly care for the natural world as an extension of ourselves. The police alerted Janine Guido, Speranza Animal Rescue’s owner, of the shocking situation. Along with the organization’s volunteers, Janine tirelessly made trips back and forth to the site to make sure all animals were rescued quickly. We pray for the animals’ speedy recovery and happiness and that countries worldwide pass and implement laws to protect our dear animal friends, in God’s mercy. When we relax, we can think clearer, so let’s have fun with the joke of the day, “Abbreviations.” Maggy, who had just learned how to text on her smartphone, sent her teenaged daughter a message to ask the meanings of some abbreviations she had seen being used quite often. “Hi, honey. I was wondering what do IDK, LY, and TTYL mean?” “I Don’t Know, Love You, and Talk To You Later.” “It’s all right. Don’t worry about it, I’ll ask your brother. Love you too.” And now we have a heartline from Xiao-Ming in China: Greetings! Thank you for your continuous efforts in elevating the Earth and awakening humankind. In today’s news, United States supports food purchases for displaced Armenians, World Wide Fund for Nature reports dire consequences of an overheating Mediterranean Sea, entire home 3D-printed in Belgium, fossils of a new giant rhino species discovered in China, loving school custodian honored in North Carolina, United States, university in Singapore offers course on alternative meat, and birds and squirrels naturally regenerate woodlands in Great Britain. United States provides financial support for food security in Armenia. The United States, through its humanitarian Agency for International Development (USAID), has donated US$1 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). The aim is to provide short-term cash assistance to Armenians displaced by the recent conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Individuals will be able to meet their basic food needs while also giving a boost to community food markets and the local economy. USAID is currently the biggest donor to the WFP. Our gratitude and loving smiles, USAID and WFP. May the kind Armenian people be blessed with an abundance of peace and health, in God’s grace. World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) reports “real and serious” effects of an overheating Mediterranean Sea. A publication released by the WWF warns that its waters are warming 20% faster than the global average, with sea level rises expected to exceed one meter by the year 2100. Alarmingly, up to 90% of molluscs have disappeared from Israeli waters, and over 80% of the Pinna nobilis fan mussels have perished in some parts of Spain, Italy and Corsica. Furthermore, the gorgonian corals and the Posidonia seagrass, which oxygenate the ocean and provide vital habitat for 20% of the marine species, are declining rapidly. Meanwhile, jellyfish overgrowth and the migration of almost 1,000 new invasive species are devastating the basin’s marine ecosystem. To mitigate these impacts of climate change, WWF, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, is calling all leaders to take “urgent and far-reaching action.” Many thanks, World Wide Fund for Nature. May humanity quickly embrace the most planet-cooling vegan lifestyle to save our Earth home, in Divine light. Up next on Noteworthy News, single-piece home 3D-printed in Belgium. We are just going to thank the vegan food consultants, who help to lay out delectable menus for the growing number of vegan restaurants, making this noble way of eating even more accessible. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more uplifting news. Vegan: Let’s all be real humans.Good day, smart viewers, it’s Marty the vegan Newfoundland Pine Marten. You can feel great like I do with a loving, plants-only diet. Prove it to yourself by being vegan! Instead of using canned corn, did you know that you can get fresh corn kernels from the cob yourself? One way to do it is with a pair of clean scissors. First, with your hands, snap the raw corncob in two. Next, carefully insert a pair of scissors into the white center of each cob half. Rotate and swivel it in different directions. This will cause the cob to break into halves on its own. Then, you will be able to easily hold each cob piece to remove the kernels with your hands. They’ll soon be ready to be used in a tasty, nutritious vegan dish! Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now it’s time for the worldwide weather. Environmentally friendlier home created with 3D printer in Belgium. A single-piece concrete home has been created using Europe’s largest 3D printer. The 90-square-meter two-story home was built on the Campus of Experimental Architecture at Thomas More University in Belgium and took only three weeks to create after several months of preparation. It used 60% less material than a house built using traditional methods, and features a unique temperature and humidity control system with water pipes embedded in clay. Authorities in the region hope that the commercialization of this technology could help make the European building industry more sustainable. Bravo, architects and researchers in Belgium, on your innovative project to create a comfortable home more efficiently. May your research lead the way for further conservation of the Earth’s precious resources, in the guidance of the Providence. New species of prehistoric giant rhinoceros discovered in China. A team of scientists led by Professor Deng Tao of the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology in Beijing, published a report stating that fossils found several years ago in northwestern China’s Gansu Province are from an entirely new species of ancient giant rhinos. The 21-ton relative of the other giant rhinos, that once lived in Pakistan, roamed the Earth some 26.5 million years ago. The long-necked herbivores were hornless and probably lived in open woodlands where they could easily feed on seven meters high treetop leaves, which is taller than a modern-day giraffe. What an amazing discovery, Professor Deng Tao and team. While we find out more about our planet’s fascinating past, may all humans also transit to the powerful herbivore diet for a sustainable and bright future, in Heaven’s support. Community shows their appreciation for beloved school custodian. Raymond Brown, the head custodian of White Oak Elementary School in North Carolina, United States, arrives at 5:45am every working day to get the school ready, and then happily greets each student and staff as they arrive. This includes Amos, a 7-year-old boy with autism, who Mr. Brown affectionately nicknamed “Famous Amos.” The popular custodian’s special bond with Amos has helped the youngster gain the friendship of other students. To show due recognition, Amos’ mother, Dr. Adrian Wood, started an online fundraiser that quickly amassed US$35,000 within a week. This was then presented to Mr. Brown along with the “Famous Amos Award,” at a surprise ceremony attended by the school community, city officials, and other well wishers. Our warm praises and congratulations, Raymond Brown. May God bless your loving heart as you keep inspiring many more with your positivity. Coming up, University offers course on alternative meat to its undergraduate students in Singapore. The aroma of freshly baked vegan cookies is quite enticing. How about taking a short pause with us to enjoy some compassionate treats? We’ll be right back with more thoughtful news here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan = Let’s prove we are humans. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Informative News for a Precious World. University in Singapore offers alternative protein course. Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is planning to offer this first-of-its-kind course in cooperation with The Good Food Institute Asia Pacific (GFI APAC), a United States-headquartered non-profit working to expand the plant-based protein sector. The curriculum aims to teach innovations in both non-animal proteins and cell-based meat, and is offered as an elective to undergraduate science and engineering students. It is expected that local talents will thus be developed to meet the soaring demands of the plant-based meat sector in Singapore and beyond. Way to go, NTU Singapore and GFI APAC, on your smart partnership. In Divine wisdom, may more universities and institutions worldwide educate their students on life-saving plant-based proteins as a sure way to address food insecurity and many other global issues of our times. British woodlands successfully regenerated by local fauna. A recent study by the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology has determined that birds and possibly squirrels were responsible for replanting much of two entire forests. In particular, it was found that thrushes had planted the seeds of spiky bushes such as hawthorn that grew into a protective cover. This in turn allowed the growth of oak trees from acorns that were most likely buried as winter reserves by jays and possibly grey squirrels. The older of the two forests studied had been a barley field 59 years ago. Now, it is a mature woodland containing 390 trees per hectare, 52% of which are oaks. Thank you, UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, for your fascinating study into the natural life-rejuvenating intelligence of the animal and plant kingdoms. In Heaven’s blessings, may your research encourage humans to appreciate the animals and return more land to them to work in harmony with nature. Let’s have a little chuckle together with our joke of the day entitled, “Bedtime.” Little Alice’s father was always an amusing parent who still had to make his daughter follow some basic rules even when she didn’t feel like it. “Let’s go, Alice. Your bedtime has passed already.”“But Daddy, why do I have to go to bed?”“Because the bed won’t come to you, sweetie.”“?!”And now we have a heartline from Paul in the United Kingdom: Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master TV team. I want to thank You for everything You do for the world, and all the humans, animals, and co-inhabitants. I can never thank You enough, Master, for giving me the life-changing initiation. It goes beyond all worldly words and life experiences. On my initiation day many years ago, it fell on the same day that I was booked to do a TV commercial for a very well-known shampoo product, worth about £30,000, which was a lot of money back then. At that point in my life, I had done TV commercials, modeling jobs for some of the biggest companies in the world and been in many newspapers, magazines such as Marie Claire, Vogue, etc., etc. To name a few, I had worked for British Airways on billboards around the UK, worked with BMW, Chrysler, Renault, Vauxhall in the UK, Ford in the USA, a 7UP TV commercial, banks, and literally hundreds of other modeling jobs. Seeing myself in newspapers, in magazines, and on TV, many friends and family were proud and would congratulate me, yet deep inside, I felt empty and not complete, thus I was in search of real happiness, true happiness. However, at the time, I did not know what that was or how to find it. So when the initiation date came and I saw that it was on the exact same date as this £30,000 TV commercial, I decided to take the leap, having read Master’s Sample Booklet and other literature of Master’s. Reading Master’s literature touched and opened something up inside my soul. I was feeling something and I was saying to myself: “Is this it, is this it?” I didn’t have the words or comprehension in my mind at that time, but a feeling like something has always been there and I was so desperate to expand this feeling of Love, Safety, and yes... feeling full. So I forwent the TV commercial and £30,000 and got initiated. To say that it changed my life for the better is an understatement, and you just cannot describe the feelings, love, and support that Master gives us. It changes absolutely every single part of you. One simply cannot put a price on something so special, so incredible, so profound, so much so that if someone offered me the world with all the wealth, fame, and fortune for what I have gained from initiation, it would be like someone giving me a grain of sand. Dearest Master, You have given me, us, the true meaning of life, the Holy Grail, and we will forever be indebted to You. For You (Supreme Master Ching Hai) to bring down this power, this energy to the world, to help people change to a vegan lifestyle that helps save people’s lives, the lives of all the animals, while healing the world, lifting the group consciousness of the planet, we are all indebted to You. May we all pray to God to keep You well, Master, safe, and in amazing health forever and ever. With Master’s Love Brother Paul from the United Kingdom Grateful Paul, We enjoyed reading about your wonderful experience of initiation and positive life changes. All of us pray that Master always remains in good health and that the Divine Cosmic Powers support Master in Her mission to save countless beings and help bring about a vegan paradise on Earth. May Heaven guide and protect you and the provident people of the United Kingdom, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Master celebrates with you, saying: “Attuned Paul, your inner yearning for True Home is soo mighty, thus it is evident that you truly understand the value of initiation and the Quan Yin Method, as you also reap the unfathomable benefit from it, inside out. Having such a sincere disciple is a real comfort, and worth all the toil that life on earth decided to heap on me. Thank you too, my love, for being a good spiritual practitioner. The spiritual is all we can rely on in this mundane world, nothing else. Much Love, and may God be with you and the royal United Kingdom as we navigate these challenging times together.” We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartlineIt’s been a pleasure to have your company on Noteworthy News. May your days be filled with inner peace and happiness.
