European Union boosts Uganda’s response to COVID-19.

The EU will provide Uganda, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, with €30 million that were scheduled to be disbursed later this year. With a view to protecting vulnerable individuals, saving lives and bolstering the economy, the EU’s Delegation to Uganda will also redirect funds from existing social programs. Priority will be given to educating the public about best practices for limiting the risk of infection and supplying the private sector with a safety net for impacted businesses and their workers. The European Union is a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care, and True Caring laureate. Our heartfelt appreciation, European Union, for your considerate actions to safeguard the vibrant people of Uganda. May we all realize our oneness as planetary citizens, protected and nourished in Heaven’s infinite mercy.

Marshall Islands benefits from World Bank’s emergency project.

In support of the country’s ongoing efforts to minimize the risk of a coronavirus outbreak, the World Bank approved a US$2.5 million grant. The funds will be allocated by the Ministry of Health and Human Services and the National Disaster Committee to raise awareness about social distancing, washing hands frequently and other preventive behaviors. Also, laboratory equipment, personnel and supplies will be secured to facilitate contact tracing and COVID-19 testing. In addition, the initiative will enhance the nation’s healthcare system as a whole to ensure that sufficient trained staff and personal protective gear are readily available. We applaud your proactive diligence, World Bank, for striving to mitigate suffering and save lives. May the serene people of the Marshall Islands remain safe and healthy in the eternal love of the Providence.

Up next, Sweden anticipates installation of giant wind turbines. Let’s pause for a moment to thank the dedicated ambulance drivers and attendants who transport sick or injured people, swiftly and safely. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more glorious news.

Hallo, brilliant viewers! I’m Elam the Elephant Seal, and everyone in my colony is vegan. Today, I am honored to share a tip from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “The mask for covering your mouth could also be used as an eye shield when you need extra shading for sleep or meditation. Just cover your eyes with it instead. There you are. Have a good rest. You deserve it!” Thank You so much, Supreme Master Ching Hai, for Your love and this caring and cool idea!

Thank you all for watching, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Sweden looks forward to installing the world’s largest onshore wind turbines.

Eurowind Energy A/S, a Danish developer and sustainable power company, has ordered eight generators with 170-meter rotors for a project near Karlstad, Sweden. The manufacturer, Siemens Gamesa of Spain, designed the turbines specially to capture more energy in medium- and low-wind locations. Each machine is expected to supply enough electricity for almost 5,000 homes per year while avoiding 15,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Siemens Gamesa has also committed to provide 25 years of comprehensive maintenance for the units once the wind farm is completed in the second half of 2021. Hats off to you – Sweden, Siemens Gamesa and Eurowind Energy A/S. May your pioneering spirit lead the way to further innovations that make life on Earth more comfortable and sustainable, in God’s brilliance.

Researchers develop better battery for large-scale storage.

Scientists at the University of Southern California (USC) in the United States have demonstrated a new liquid battery that would be suitable for electricity generated by wind and solar systems. Their design stores electrochemical energy in two different fluids that cause electrons to flow by way of reduction and oxidation. Although this has proved successful before, the USC model uses iron sulfate solution and anthraquinone disulfonic acid, which are less expensive and more eco-friendly alternatives. Laboratory tests showed that the prototype could discharge and recharge hundreds of times with no loss of power – an essential attribute for large-scale, long-term installations. Congratulations, University of Southern California researchers, on your advancement that will help move the world closer to a fully green future, in Celestial splendor.

United Arab Emirates accelerates its pursuit of food security.

With the hope of reducing the country’s dependence on imported produce, Abu Dhabi Investment Office has invested US$100 million in four companies that specialize in agriculture technology. Madar Farms, a UAE firm, will cultivate tomatoes in a massive, climate-controlled warehouse using artificial light. Aerofarms, from New Jersey, USA, is building a research facility that will contain the largest vertical farm of its kind in the world. Florida, USA’s Responsive Drip Irrigation (RDI) is working on an advanced water supply system for growing plants in sandy soil, and Abu Dhabi-based RNZ is creating specialized fertilizers to increase crop yields. Way to go, United Arab Emirates and participating businesses, on your determined efforts to revolutionize the future of nourishment. May your brilliant techniques benefit countries around the globe in their quest for food resilience.

Coming up, international researchers collaborate to improve vegan meat. Let’s take a moment now to watch a traditional rice-planting dance and prayer for a good harvest, called Akiu no Taue Odori. It’s a UNESCO-inscribed Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity from Japan. More favorable news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Russian and Chinese scientists study ways to enhance plant-based meat. Professor Olga Babich at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Russia, in collaboration with Chinese colleagues, has completed research on improving high moisture extrusion technology to create more interesting meat alternatives. This production method is favored in the food industry because it forms a fibrous structure from vegetable proteins, and the relatively low temperatures and brief cooking time preserve amino acids. The scientists found that the appearance, flavor and texture of meat analogs can be controlled by adjusting the percentages of wheat gluten and moisture in the raw materials. This sets the stage for a wider variety of vegan products for conscious consumers. Our delighted appreciation, Professor Olga Babich and Chinese scientists, for making animal-free eating even more enjoyable. In Heaven’s blessings, may your report be welcomed by food manufacturers everywhere, to hasten Earth’s transition to a vegan planet.

Five-year study documents social interaction among flamingos.

Researchers from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom studied representatives of four flamingo species and identified devoted couples, same-gender friendships and groups of three or four close buddies. Not surprisingly, many bonds get started during the spring/summer breeding season, but the relationships tend to be long-lasting, which suggests they are beneficial for survival in the wild. The study noted that if flamingos must be relocated, care should be taken not to separate any who have developed attachments. Thank you, University of Exeter researchers, for confirming our feathered friends’ need for compatible company. We pray that your findings will contribute to humanity’s respect and compassion for all sentient life forms, in the gracious benevolence of the Divine.

It’s now time for a laugh with the joke of the day entitled, “Meet Your Spine.

A middle-aged woman had some pain in her back, so she went to see a doctor. After checking her posture, the doctor walked behind her to get a spine model. Bringing it back with him and showing it to her, he said,

“So, this is your spine...”

“Doctor, what have you done? Please put it back!” ?!

And now we have a heartline from Chenoch in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Hallo, dear Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV working team! I have an animal story to share with everyone. The year before last, I moved to a community in the mountains where I live now. There was a wild orange tabby cat that got injured badly. We brought him to a hospital for surgery. My partner and I started to take care of him and named him “Big Orange.” One time, through an animal communicator, we asked Big Orange if he wanted to go back to the wild, and also warned him that it could be dangerous because of his injured leg. Surprisingly, Big Orange said that he wanted to live in our home. He said he was very grateful that he could come to our home, because it had Master’s vibration, and it was enveloped by a very strong, loving power, which allowed him to meditate peacefully and enjoy the atmosphere. I also found that he and another kitty, Hope Hope, especially liked Supreme Master TV. I have been using a cell phone to broadcast Supreme Master TV all day long and placed it on top of a cabinet. Our living room has a lot of space for them to jump and lie down, but amazingly, they always choose to jump on that cabinet where Supreme Master TV is playing, and then quietly lean on the screen to listen to Supreme Master TV. They have been like this every day.

I am very grateful to be blessed by Master’s loving power and to the endeavor of the working team of Supreme Master TV. I am ever more grateful to Master for contributing to the peace of the whole universe day and night. Not only are smallest prayers of initiates being taken care of, but also the karma of all living beings is taken away. The appreciation from us and the animals is beyond description. I wish that Master is healthy forever! Thank You! Thank You!

Love You, Chenoch from Taiwan (Formosa)
