Auricular Medicine is a scientific medical system used to diagnose and treat many different diseases using the ears. Because auricular points are specific locations connected to different areas of the body, if a part of our body has trouble, the corresponding point of the ear will reflect this. Based on this unique mechanism, many ailments can be found and cured by manipulating the corresponding acupressure points. The ear performs the exceptional function of recording the body’s physical history. This can assist Auricular Medicine practitioners in gathering past and present medical information about the client through a process called ear reading. “We read the ear and get the information about what you’ve been through, so basically getting your medical history from reading your ear. And not just what happened to you before, but also what’s happening now in your body; and because the ear has so much information, including that information, genetic information, the genetic predisposition that’s within your genes, that also can be detected in the ear.” In Auricular Medicine, the shape of the ear is said to resemble the resting human fetus. Based on this model, an Auricular Medicine practitioner can tell which points of the ear are associated with which parts of the body. Sometimes, simply pressing a specific place on the ear can eliminate a health condition’s symptoms. “And then, I find a pain in your ear that connects to that pain, and help them make that connection and through just simple massage of that part of the ear, their pain goes away.” Lisa developed the Healing By Design Method, an effective three-step process to initiate self-healing. "It is a complete, comprehensive medical modality, where we use the ear to do diagnosis and treatment of all the conditions in the body, up to 200 diseases, and 500 symptoms.” All these different expressions in our ear, whether it's discoloration, flakiness of skin, the blood vessel protruding, and pain or different degrees of pain, all these are different ways the ear, our inner healer, or inner doctor, wants to tell us about what's going on. And the location of these symptoms will tell us where the problem is.” According to Ms. Wong, there are different “control panels" within us, including the ears, eyes, hands, and feet. She developed the Healing by Design Self-Care Method to show people how they can easily cure various illnesses, pains and discomforts. “I want to first help them recognize that these parts of their body have these special abilities to let them check what's going on in their body ahead of time before they are experiencing discomfort or pain, or any health challenges. Because it's so simple, I want to teach kids early in their lives. "My new definition of what optimum health is, is when not only the ear, but in all your control panels in your body, you cannot find any pain. I believe that your inner healer has an expectation of you, based on your genes, your own lifestyle, your habits, your diet, everything combined makes what optimum health is for you. So, it is definitely a new concept." Ms. Wong has been a vegetarian for more than 25 years and vegan for the past eight years. “Through our non-profit, I teach people about the importance of the vegan diet. If they want to reach optimum health, this is a necessary, a central part and that is definitely, absolutely necessary.”

Today, it is our privilege to feature excerpts from our interview with John Jezewski. He has been a registered homeopath and Living Nutrition Practitioner for almost 30 years and treated hundreds of people. This gentleman from the UK is a specialist in living nutrition, alkaline health, chronic disease, weight loss, longevity, and mental and emotional health. Additionally, he is an inspiring health coach and the founder and principal of the College of Living Nutrition that offers accredited nutrition courses in London and Birmingham for those interested in training to become a professional nutrition therapist. Mr. Jezewski is a proponent of the alkaline vegan diet. This lifestyle features a high intake of fruits, vegetables, and other healthy plant foods while restricting processed junk foods. Advocates of this way of eating say this particular diet helps maintain wellness and repels serious diseases. Our blood tends typically to be on the slightly alkaline side with a pH between 7.35 and 7.45. Therefore, by choosing more alkaline foods, it means that you may be able to “alkalize” your body to achieve or maintain the ideal pH level. “So there is a big problem. Big, big problem with people becoming too acidic, and then they resort to taking antacids. But again, you need to get to the root cause. And the root cause is eating too much food, too many drinks that are acidic. If you’re drinking cola, you’re drinking coffee, you’re drinking tea, you’re eating chips - deep-fried chips, all of this is adding to the acidity problem. And it’s a big problem. So you need to eat alkaline food, which is vegan, and alkaline - not acidic.”

Today, it is our privilege to feature more excerpts from our interview with John Jezewski. Mr. Jezewski is more than just a nutritionist. He is a living nutritionist and provided us with a background on how he assists people through his practice. “Living nutrition is taking the absolute latest technology and also taking techniques of enthusiasm. So people can make a proper transition to a perfect diet for them. And we’re talking about making that part of your living, part of your life.” “And helping you with supplements, with tonic herbs, and how to do exercises, when to do exercises, how to treat all these different conditions, what you can do to help that particular condition.” As Mr. Jezewski just mentioned, he recommends appropriate dietary supplementation to his clients. His view is that if our focus is to improve our bone density, the intake of plant sources of silica is the intelligent choice. “Good calcium you get from plants. You get calcium from green food basically; you eat lots of that. For bones, you need the silica, not the calcium. You need nettles; you need hemp leaf tea. You need to eat hemp; you need to eat things like nettles, hemp.” “That, with vitamin D, the sunshine, is fantastic. And then, magnesium. That, again, you get from your plants.” “a tonic herb has got no side effects, by definition. It wouldn’t be a tonic herb. So you can take that, and it works internally, and it raises consciousness. It doesn’t suppress any symptoms; it brings them out; it gets rid of them.” Introducing plant-based eating to his clients is part of Mr. Jezewski’s living nutrition practice. He is encouraged by the trends he sees worldwide in terms of the awareness that veganism is the key to wellness.

‟I saw Kirlian photography, and that showed the energetic properties around food. It's around all living beings which have energy. The premise that by adding heat, you either create nutrients or up the nutrients is a false idea. When you have something that is full of life force, light energy, it's auric field, its glow, you are consuming light, we are light beings, and the properties of mass and matter, there is no difference." By eating whole vegan foods in their natural state, Lesa says we can achieve a degree of spiritual upliftment. ‟So the quantum field, the biofield of energetics, is really, as opposed to the older idea of vitamins and minerals, and fat and how many calories and this kind of thing. When you move into that it's an energetic vibrancy property, and that it is vibrating at the speed of light. And your food is not separate from that whatsoever, and it is vibrating. So when you align that with your vibrating frequency, you are going into a whole new dimension. And again, you go from, the dense food to lighter food, to food that has more water content, that lightens up your mass and matter to then full vibrancy, that then you're expanded, and you're floating, and you feel fantastic and happy. Okay, so tips on making raw food dishes palatable and exciting for yourself. First of all, play, have fun. And so when you see or feel something that's bringing you joy, or sparks that little spark in your belly, what I did in the beginning that really helped me was I would find something that was cooked, that I was wanting for whatever reason, and then I would just redesign it into a raw food dish or find something that kind of gave me those same sensations. I would say bring color, bring texture, bring different flavors that you like. So, I always say, take the normal thing and then put some interesting things yourself, even in raw food."
