After a big week of vegan cooking in the kitchen, there’s some serious cleaning to do. I would like to share my kitchen cleaning tip with you. Grease buildup is common on kitchen surfaces like stoves, range hoods, and walls, especially after frequent frying. If not cleaned promptly, it oxidizes and mixes with dust, forming a sticky, stubborn layer. Using strong cleaners can irritate skin and pose health risks, particularly for young children. A safer method is to use cooking or mineral oil on old grease stains, especially on cabinets. Gently use a sponge to apply a thin layer of oil, like olive or canola, or a mineral oil for wood. Let it sit a few minutes to break down the grime, then wipe with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft cloth. Rinse with a damp sponge and dry the surface. Prevent future mess and buildup by using lids or a splatter screen while cooking, especially during deep frying.

Let’s step on that hilarity ship and sail away with the joke of the day. It’s entitled “Star Gazing.”

Charlie was constantly falling asleep during his astronomy course and would wake up once the class was over. One day, he was 20 minutes late for class. When the professor saw him walk into the classroom, she said:

“You can’t be late again, otherwise, you won’t get enough sleep!”

And now we have a heartline from Lily in the United States
