The Medicine Master Lapis Lazuli Light Tathagata is the Buddha of the Eastern Pure Land that is called Vaiḍūryanirbhāsa (meaning Pure Lapis Lazuli). He is commonly known as the Medicine Buddha and is venerated by many as the "King of Medicine and Doctor of Soul and Body."
