When He (Earth Store Bodhisattva) made this vow, all the Universes witnessed that and helped Him, protected Him, so that He could do His job in hell. […] He was too sincere and too powerful. So, all the Universes helped Him, also. And He was very unconditional; He wanted nothing at all. Because if we do something and want something in return, then we’ll maybe have only that returning thing but not the end. So, unconditional help and love is the answer.

Whoever wants to help Master, there’s no need to be proud, OK? I have a rough time cleaning up (karma) in the back. But I can’t avoid asking for help every time. For example, there are some things I can’t do. Or some work that requires muscle men, or machines. The small screws, I can do them by myself. Small things which don’t require a lot of strength, or don’t require big machines, I can do them by myself. But when it comes to fixing doors or repairing something, of course, I cannot. I don’t have the tools, nor the professional skills, or the time to do them. I don’t have time to repair big things. But I really try to avoid it as long as I can. Don’t think that there seem to be a lot of people around, or that there is always someone to help Master. No. I am by myself. Cleaning, mopping the floor, putting on clothes, doing makeup, dying my hair, I do everything by myself. Otherwise, it would take a lot of time, and a lot of money. If you go out to get your hair dyed, it also costs a lot.

If someone really needs protection, like bodyguards… Like the last few days, we needed outside bodyguards to protect the (Korean) dance troupe. Because a long time ago, before there was peace, they escaped via many countries before they could return to South Korea. That was before. Perhaps there’s no need nowadays. Everyone waited until the real communication, then they rushed over. So, after they came over, the South Korean government has been protecting them. They have bodyguards wherever they go. If we want to invite them, we have to have bodyguards and policemen. Understand? And the approval of their parents is needed. So it was very complicated. If I were like that, it would cost a lot of money to have bodyguards every day. Real bodyguards cost a lot of money.

Then, getting the hair dyed costs a lot of money, and a makeup artist costs a lot of money. And having someone to help with the buttons, wow, again, a lot of money! So, my life looks tidy, my hair dyed and everything, but I do them all by myself, so it saves time, and it saves money. Because if I get my hair dyed outside, I need a car to go. Then a driver is needed additionally. If I really get scared, then bodyguards are needed. I’ll do the math. If I really need bodyguards… See? So many bodyguards are required merely for one dance troupe. Because the number of bodyguards needed depends on the size of the area. And that cost us a lot of money for just one day. Around a day and a half. If Master needed bodyguards like that every day, and if the area is this big, how many bodyguards are needed accordingly? Can you calculate how much it would cost? Then I’d truly become a real “expensive” Master. Very dear, dearest Master. The translation’s OK? (Yes.)

I haven’t spoken Chinese for a long time. I speak Chinese today for them. Otherwise, they’ll think that I ignore them and get upset. Are you comfortable? (Yes, comfortable.) This kind of system has a little moisture. It’s not bad either. (Right.) Then I also thank those who organized this place, and helped make it like this, to make you feel more comfortable. But it was meant for the plants. The sprinklers were meant for the plants. You guys got the extra bonus. Thanks to the plants. That’s right. Because we were thinking of planting some orchids which are grown in the wild originally. They like humidity. Hot, but humid is the requirement. So we happen to make use of the situation and benefit from it as well.

By the way, I want to thank those (meditation) Centers. Even though only a few of you found the homeless, everybody shares the collective (spiritual) merits. We don’t just share collective karma; we also share collective merits. Understand? Otherwise, it’s unfair. We’ve talked about sharing collective karma all the time, now we are sharing the collective (spiritual) merits. Go back and eat it together. We don’t ask for merits when we do things. Of course, everyone knows that. Right?

But why haven’t you looked for the homeless earlier? Why didn’t you do it till Master said so? You didn’t think of it? (Pingtung Center did care for them in the early days.) You did. I know. I know I also contributed some money every winter, and you went out to help them. You often went and offered services to them too. That was also good. But what they need is a home. They need a stable life. And maybe they’ll use the remaining time for rest and liberation. That’ll be the best, not just a home. Give them initiation if they want initiation, but don’t push them. For those old people who exceed our age limit, but have long been vegan, you can also let them get initiation. I’m very happy that at least you did what I said. You should follow the good teachings, not the bad ones, of course. We have a clear mind to know right from wrong. I’ve never taught you anything bad, have I? (No.) Really? No? (No.) Are you sure? (Sure.) OK. You’re smart.

Today, I let you tell anything you like but not the nonsense, not the “bombs,” not the stupid “bombs,” and not all kinds of sissy-sassy just to want attention and just to take up my time. My time is precious. To sit here is a sacrifice (from me) for you. But I need to, now and then, appear, maybe say a few words that remind you to practice. That’s why I do it. Otherwise, I don’t really like to go anywhere, not even a few steps outside of my cave. Why? What do I need? Lousy buttons? Or what? I do everything almost myself already. What else do I need from anybody, or why do I need to see anybody when I can see the Godses – Glorious, Beautiful, and the spiritual Splendor inside? Why do I have to see you, any of you? Not that I don’t have any company or feel lonely. No! You must be joking, you must be joking. If you think like that, you’re really stupid! The idiot of all idiots, the master of all idiots.

Do you have any questions? You can tell me now. Spiritual questions only, and real questions, not pretending. Pretending is also lying. Lying to a Master is very, very big, bad karma for you. Even if you’re initiated, you’ll still be paying for that. Maybe you even have to go to hell. It depends on what you say, depends on what kind of lie. Ah, apropos!

Sometimes, I cannot come out to see you for some urgent reason, because sometimes I was doing some work or maybe ready to go out… Oh! Is it OK to speak English? (Yes.) All of you have translation? (Yes.) Good, good. OK. Is the translation good? (Good.) Because there are some foreigners here, I have to speak a little English. I’m more fluent in English. I have to think a little when I speak Taiwanese (Formosan), and I can’t use words the way you Chinese do. Sometimes when I try to express some ideas, my Chinese is not as fluent as my English. Even my Aulacese (Vietnamese) is not as fluent. I’m used to speaking English.

Alright. Do you have any questions here? Since you came from far away, you may ask me whatever you want. If you want, you raise your hand and the microphone will run to you. No? Westerners, no questions? No questions? Nothing? (Nothing.) Good. Very good. No! They said, “No.” They said, “Nada.” Means no! You don’t stand in front of her. No? OK. And the Koreans? Are there any questions? Make sure you ask a good question. Otherwise, you know. Right? At the moment, the screening is very, very, very tight. Only the good ones can remain around. Not that I don’t tolerate you. Heavens don’t want. Heavens don’t want any bad seeds around – those useless, or making trouble for nothing, wasting my time and wasting everybody else’s time, and wasting the precious space here.

Question! (I’m wondering how the Earth Store Bodhisattva is walking in hell without getting any effect from hell’s atmosphere?) The Bodhisattva in hell, helping hell people, how is He not affected? He is a Bodhisattva! He’s not you. He has power, and that’s His job, so-called job. He made a big vow saying that if all the hells are not empty, He would never enter Nirvana, He would never become a complete Buddha. So, His vow, powerful vow, was backed up by His own spiritual merit since eons and kalpa as endless as the Ganges River sand. Too powerful!

And when He made this vow, all the Universes witnessed that and helped Him, protected Him, so that He could do His job in hell. If it’s you, or you, you, you – anyone goes there – immediately will have trouble, burn or suffer, cannot even help yourself, not to talk about anybody else. You see, that’s why only Him (could help) in hell. He was too sincere and too powerful. So, all the Universes helped Him, also. And He was very unconditional; He wanted nothing at all. Because if we do something and want something in return, then we’ll maybe have only that returning thing but not the end. So, unconditional help and love is the answer.

He wanted nothing! He just wanted to offer, and even sacrificed His Buddha status, just to stay a Bodhisattva, second best, so that He could help people in hell. So, all His merit will be spent toward this vow, this goal. Thus, He is not harmed. Don’t try, please.
