In today’s news, doctors from Saudi Arabia offer free eye treatments in Bangladesh, NASA’s Webb Telescope showcases new image of the “Pillars of Creation,” Kenyans encouraged to eat more beans for nutritional boost, Russian scientists develop a sorbent to remove antibiotics from wastewater, boy in United States buys shoes for belittled best friend, British supermarket chain unveils its largest list of vegan Christmas offerings, and annual contest in Australia raises funds to protect endangered bird-people species.

Saudi doctors give free eye care in Bangladesh.

A group of 15 eye doctors from Saudi Arabia recently traveled to Bangladesh for eight days to provide free eye operations and consultations to people in the nation. The Saudi Noor Volunteer Program was arranged by a non-governmental organization called the Al-Basar International Foundation in collaboration with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. During the time they were there, 519 cataract surgeries were performed, and 4,610 patients were examined and treated. The result is that many previously near-blind persons have now regained their sight. What a meaningful endeavor, Saudi Noor Volunteer Program doctors, Al-Basar International Foundation, and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. Thank you for your loving support of the Bangladeshi people. In the Grace of Allah, your treatments and operations have brought much happiness to the patients, now that they can live their lives more freely in service to others.

NASA releases stunning photo of “Pillars of Creation.”

The US National Aeronautical and Space Administration’s (NASA’s) US$10 billion space observatory, the James Webb Space Telescope, has captured a new image of the majestic birthplace of stars through its near-infrared camera. Situated within the Eagle Nebula of the Serpens Constellation 6,500 light years away, the area was first revealed by the Hubble Telescope in 1995. The captivating portrayal shows younger stars as crimson orbs, aging blue stars which have ejected most layers of gas and dust, along with the iconic towering gas pillars in much finer detail. Scientists will use the brilliant image to identify a more accurate count of the recently formed stars in the region, as well as the quantities of gas and dust. Wonderful work, NASA and associated researchers! May your fascinating discoveries lead everyone to more deeply appreciate our mysterious cosmos, in Heaven’s luminosity. “Turn vegan, 4 the helpless animal-people's sake, n 4 the poor humans!”

Up next, Kenyans encouraged to consume more beans for a nutritional boost. We are just going to thank the animal-people cruelty investigators, who go out into the field and check on the welfare of our precious animal friends. We’ll be right back, with more peace-filled news on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, adventurous viewers, I’m Michiko, a vegan matron from the Japanese Macaque kingdom. The key to understanding the secrets of the Universe lies within us, and the first and foremost foundation is compassion. And my life just sparkles with beauty through this realization! I have a tip to share with you! Did you know there are ways to decrease your exposure to your smartphone’s blue light, to help improve your sleep quality and safeguard your eyesight? You can use the blue light feature on your iPhone or iPad (iOS) by tapping on “Settings,” then “Display & Brightness,” and “Night Shift,” to turn your screen into a yellowish, warm color. To enable the filter on your Android phone or tablet, click on “Settings,” “Display,” then “Night Light” or “Blue Light Feature” (based on your device). Simply modify your screen’s color temperature on your device to get rid of the blue light. You can even schedule the filter to be activated certain times of the day or have it last until the following day. However, it is best to put your devices down prior to sleeping to get optimum sleep quality. Thank you for your attention and love you a lot for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the worldwide weather.

Kenyans encouraged to eat more beans to address malnutrition.

Dr. Beatrice Kiage, a nutrition associate of the Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network, and other nutritionists have voiced concerns over the level of iron and zinc deficiency in the Kenyan population, causing stunting of growth. The nation’s government has urged citizens to consume more bean varieties naturally abundant in these minerals as well as in dietary fiber and antioxidants. Legume consumption is known to help improve conditions such as diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol and cognitive function. Beans are also a cheaper, more versatile and drought-resistant crop. Wise recommendation, Kenya! Our gratitude, Dr. Beatrice Kiage and fellow nutritional experts, for raising awareness of the many benefits of growing and eating a variety of legumes. We pray the health of the caring Kenyans will flourish as they embrace the compassionate and wholesome plant-based diet, in Celestial guidance.

Scientists produce a sorbent to eradicate antibiotics from wastewater.

Researchers from the National University of Science and Technology in Russia have developed an eco-friendly and reusable sorbent to clean antibiotics from wastewater. The continued usage of these chemicals in animal-people factories as well as pharmaceutical and medical fields has increased the risk of the emergence of super-resistant bacteria or microorganisms in water. Utilizing a boron nitride nanoparticle filter, the scientists managed to remove antibiotics molecules such as bicillin, tetracycline and ciprofloxacin from water efficiently. The next step is to enhance the sorbent’s overall capabilities and start testing with other types of antibiotics. Way to go, researchers from Russia’s National University of Science and Technology, on your encouraging results. In Divine wisdom, may people soon truly realize the importance of kind treatment to all living beings, including ourselves, for a healthy planetary environment.

Middle schooler helps friend sidestep being teased.

Seventh grader Romello Early from Buffalo Creek Academy, in New York, United States, purchased a new pair of sneakers for his best buddy, Melvin Anderson, after seeing other students having fun at Melvin’s expense because of his well-used shoes. Romello had experienced being bullied due to his height, and he wanted to protect his friend from such unkind behavior. With his mother’s help, Romello paid for the shoes using his own allowance money and gave them to Melvin the following day. Melvin was grateful for the new footwear and wanted to repay the cost, but Romello insisted it was just a gift to his best friend. We really admire your act of kindness, Romello Early. May you and your close buddy Melvin Anderson continue to enjoy your wonderful friendship as you grow into caring and empathetic adults, inspiring many people, in God’s Embrace. “B vegan, such a simple God's Demand.”

“Twitchathon” competition in Australia raises funds for threatened bird-people species.

The nonprofit charity Birdlife Australia organized an annual sporting event where teams of bird-people watchers raced from one venue to another, attempting to capture the largest number of sightings of our avian friends during a specified time frame. In New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory, the following options were available for the teams to choose from: the 30-hour Big Weekend Race, the 12-hour Big Day, or the 3-hour Birdathon. The public was able to contribute online to sponsor a team or to fund the Twitchathon. The donations will be utilized for the preservation of Australia’s unique and gorgeous gang-gang cockatoo. Our hats off, Birdlife Australia and all supporters, for helping our precious bird-brethren. May our cherished feathered friends thrive as humanity chooses the Earth-saving vegan lifestyle, in the resplendence of the Providence.

We have just managed to assemble the laughter jigsaw puzzle, displaying the following joke. Let's get right to it. It's called, “Power Outage.”

A customer calls a computer repairman…

“Sir, my computer suddenly stopped working. Can you please come to fix it?”

“Sure. Please, write down my mobile phone number, I will call you when I arrive.”

“That sounds great. Wait a minute please. I will need to find a flashlight first.”

“Why do you need a flashlight?”

“Oh, because, we just had a power outage.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Yi-Cen in China:

Hallo, Beloved Master Ching Hai, Recently, I’ve benefited greatly from the Words of Wisdom program on Supreme Master TV. One of the discourses from “Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl)” touched upon noble wisdom and ideals, and stated the importance of inward spiritual practice. I’ve watched it many times and would like to share it with Your viewers.

My family was not very harmonious before, as my parents didn’t get along with each other very well. I grew up in an atmosphere of anger and complaints. I was badly polluted by those negative qualities, which have harmed my body, mind and soul. I had always wanted to run away from my home.

“Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl)” mentioned that all our sufferings are the consequences of violating the law of love. It said: “Ignorant is the one who, seeing dirtiness outside does not realize his own dirtiness.” We should go inside to clean our own temple. By cleaning our mind, everything will be clean. If inside of us is full of love and peace, whatever we see will be full of love and peace.

Hatred in my heart is the poison in my mind, which must be eliminated immediately. Since then, I’ve been constantly checking myself. Negative qualities like anger, complaint, greed, etc., all originated from our mind. We should think and focus on the positive and bright sides of life all the time, keeping a pure heart and not looking at others’ faults. Only when we keep the power of love, the joy from the heart will arise.

One of Your books, “The Realization of Health,” has already mentioned that whatever diseases we have come from the thoughts we have in our mind. At that time, I had not been able to fully understand what that meant. Now, I’ve found the root which causes all the problems. Following the law of love, compassion and wisdom is the eternal Truth, and it’s also the best cure for all psychological diseases. If our mind is full of negative thoughts, our body cells will also become very ugly. Then how could they heal us?

“The Realization of Health” also mentioned that people in a “sub-health” state, such as those suffering from the three-highs (high blood pressure, high blood glucose, high blood lipids) and chronic diseases, can improve by eating properly, because our body has a tremendous self-healing capacity. Taking medication can only control a patient’s condition, but it causes a lot of side effects. We must find the root cause of the illnesses.

If you are willing to change, you should begin with a vegan diet and see how miracles will happen in your life. Another book titled “Healing Without Medicine” is also worth reading. Being a vegan makes our love grow. It is the ultimate way to heal our body, mind and soul. Increasing our love and compassion is the best contribution to the Earth. There is more than one alternative in our lives and we should live a much more brilliant and splendid life.

All the best, peace, and good health to the most Beloved Master Ching Hai, and much appreciation to the Supreme Master TV team for presenting to us so many wonderful programs. Yi-Cen from China

Diligent Yi-Cen, Thank you for sharing your wise observations.

Master has a loving reply for you: “Awakened Yi-Cen, I feel the sincerity in your words, and your wisdom shines through your heartline. In this world, there are so many negative circumstances and situations that if we do not use the Divine Love and Wisdom within us, we will be drowned by the negative power here and lose ourselves. Love is the way to health. We must have love in our hearts and eat in a loving way, which is the vegan diet. It follows the law of Love which is the foremost law of all. I am reminded of the Buddha’s words in the Dhammapada, ‘Hate never yet dispelled hate, only Love dispels hate. Such is the law, ancient and inexhaustible.’ Continue to walk the way of Love, my dear. May you and knowledgeable China be blessed forever in the Buddhas’ infinite Grace.”

Vegan > what's it 4, medicine?!
