The T’Rưng and Ching Kram bamboo gong are two traditional music instruments of the Ê Đê people from Central Highlands, Âu Lạc (Vietnam). Made from bamboo tubes, they are often called the soul of the mountains, the sound of the forests. In ancient times, during harvest season, villagers used to hold festivals and play these instruments to celebrate and thank Heaven and Earth. Next, we would like to invite Master and fellow practitioners to listen to a T’Rưng and Ching Kram bamboo gong duet, based on the melody of the song “Go! Go! Go!” performed by two artists from Đắk Lắk in Central Highlands, Âu Lạc (Vietnam). “You know this Đắk Lắk is one of the so-called like up, original land, very high on a mountain far away from the cities. They came from such a place. Very pure and natural. Thank you.” Once again, thanks to Master for giving us the gift of the Quan Yin family that makes us travel all over the world. We have been to the beautiful plains of Âu Lạc (Vietnam). And now we are going to discover the beautiful steppes of Mongolia. The next performance is in Mongolian language. And it is a song that celebrates the four seasons of that beautiful country. Welcome, Mongolia! We just visited the grassland in Mongolia. Next let’s go to Tibet to have a look. A group of sisters from China will perform a dance to the beautiful song “That Day.” Through this poem and dance, initiates wish to express their love for Supreme Master Ching Hai. “That day, while meditating with my eyes closed amidst swirls of incense, suddenly I heard You reciting the mantra. That night, I turned the wheel of prayer, not for salvation, but for a touch of Your fingertips. That year, I bowed and prostrated on the mountain paths, not for an audience, but for Your warm presence. That lifetime, I circled the mountains, rivers and stupas, seeking not rebirth, but a meeting with You along the way. That moment, I flew and soared into immortality, not to seek another life, but to seek Your peace and happiness.”
