Today we invite you to listen to an excerpt of Rumi’s teachings from the Fihi Ma Fihi. Discourse 18: God’s treasuries are many, and God’s sciences are many. The Qur’an is only a symbol of God’s knowledge belonging to God. An apothecary puts a pinch of medicine in a piece of paper. You wouldn’t say, “The whole of the apothecary’s shop is in this paper.”
