Selections from The Dhammapada – Chapters 5-8, Part 1 of 2

Buddha or Gautama Buddha, also known as Shakyamuni Buddha, was a great extraordinary spiritual Master from ancient India. Dhammapada is an anthology of verses spoken by the Buddha on various occasions in response to a certain unique situation. It is one of the most popular and widely read Buddhist scriptures enjoyed by both Buddhists and non-Buddhists. Its original version is in the Khuddaka Nikaya, a Pali Canon division of Theravada Buddhism. In total there are 423 verses in the 26 chapters of the Dhammapada that convey the philosophical and practical foundations of the Buddhist tradition. We will now share with you “Selections from The Dhammapada, Chapters 5 to 8.” Chapter 5: The Fool Verse 60 “Long is the night to one who is wakeful; long is (the journey of) one yojana to the traveller who is tired; long is samsara (round of rebirths) to the fool, who is ignorant of the true Dharma (the teaching of the Buddha).” Verse 61 “If a person seeking a companion cannot find one who is better than or equal to him, let him resolutely go on alone; there can be no companionship with a fool.” Verse 63 “The fool who knows that he is a fool can, for that reason, be a wise man; but the fool who thinks that he is wise is, indeed, called a fool.”Verse 66 “With themselves as their own enemies, fools lacking in intelligence, move about doing evil deeds, which bear bitter fruits.”Verse 75 “Indeed, the path that leads to worldly gain is one and the Path that leads to Nirvana is another. Fully comprehending this, the bhikkhu, the disciple of the Buddha, should not take delight in worldly gain and honor, but devote himself to solitude, detachment and the realization of Nirvana.” Chapter 6: The Wise Verse 78 “One should not associate with bad friends, nor with the vile. One should associate with good friends, and with those who are noble.” Verse 79 “He who drinks in the Dharma lives happily with a serene mind; the wise man always takes delight in the Dharma expounded by the Noble Ones (Ariyas).” Verse 84 “For his own sake or for the sake of others, he does no evil; nor does he wish for sons and daughters or for wealth or for a kingdom by doing evil; nor does he wish for success by unfair means; such a one is indeed virtuous, wise and just.”Verse 85-86 “Few among men reach the other shore (Nirvana); all the others only run up and down on this shore. But those who practice according to the well-expounded Dharma will reach the other shore (Nirvana), having passed the realm of death (i.e., samsara), very difficult as it is to cross.”Verse 89 “Those, with mind well-developed in the seven Factors of Enlightenment, having rid themselves of all craving, rejoice in their abandonment of attachment. Such men, with all moral intoxicants eradicated, and powerful, have realized Nirvana in this world.”

The Songs of Kabir (vegetarian): Songs 51 – 76, Part 1 of 2

Today, we would like to continue to introduce you to the wisdom from “The Songs of Kabir.” The selections from Songs 65 to 76 reveal the importance of seeking and practicing with a perfect living Master, and the genuine path to God realization. “O brother! when I was forgetful, my true Guru showed me the Way. Then I left off all rites and ceremonies, I bathed no more in the holy water: Then I learned that it was I alone who was mad, and the whole world beside me was sane; and I had disturbed these wise people.”“If God be within the mosque, then to whom does this world belong? If Ram be within the image which you find upon your pilgrimage, then who is there to know what happens without? Hari is in the East: Allah is in the West. Look within your heart, for there you will find both Karim and Ram; All the men and women of the world are His living forms.” “Go thou to the company of the good, where the Beloved One has His dwelling place: Take all thy thoughts and love and instruction from thence. Tell me, how could thou hold a wedding-feast, if the bridegroom himself were not there? Waver no more, think only of the Beloved; Set not thy heart on the worship of other gods, there is no worth in the worship of other masters.”“When you meet the true Guru, He will awaken your heart; He will tell you the secret of love and detachment, and then you will know indeed that He transcends this universe. This world is the City of Truth, its maze of paths enchants the heart: We can reach the goal without crossing the road, such is the sport unending.” “There the swan plays a wonderful game, There the Unstruck Music eddies around the Infinite One; There in the midst the Throne of the Unheld is shining, whereon the great Being sits — Millions of suns are shamed by the radiance of a single hair of His body. On the harp of the road, what true melodies are being sounded! and its notes pierce the heart: There the Eternal Fountain is playing its endless life-streams of birth and death. They call Him Emptiness who is the Truth of Truths, in Whom all truths are stored! There within Him creation goes forward, which is beyond all philosophy; for philosophy cannot attain to Him: There is an endless world, O my Brother! and there is the Name-less Being, of whom nothing can be said.”

The Songs of Kabir (vegetarian): Songs 51 – 76, Part 1 of 2

Kabir was a great Indian poet who was fully devoted to the Creator. He was a Saint who not only endeavored to live the Truth, He wrote about it through His Divine gift of verse. The book, “The Songs of Kabir”, illustrates the Mystic’s thoughts and emotions whose range includes ecstasy, despair, beatitude, devotion, eagerness, illuminations and intimate love of God. Today, we would like to introduce you to the wisdom from “The Songs of Kabir.” The selections from Songs 51 to 63 underline Saint Kabir’s intense longing for His perfect living Master, wonderful experience of inner Heavenly Music and God’s unconditional Love. Song 51 “Dear friend, I am eager to meet my Beloved! My youth has flowered, and the pain of separation from Him troubles my heart. I am wandering yet in the alleys of knowledge without purpose, but I have received His news in these alleys of knowledge. I have a letter from my Beloved: in this letter is an unutterable message, and now my fear of death is done away. Kabir says: ‘O my loving friend! I have got for my gift the Deathless One.’”Song 55 “Subtle is the path of love! Therein there is no asking and no not-asking, There one loses oneself at His feet, There one is immersed in the joy of the seeking: plunged in the deeps of love as the fish in the water. The lover is never slow in offering his head for his Lord's service. Kabir declares the secret of this love.”Song 57 “Receive that Word from which the Universe springs! That Word is the Guru; I have heard it, and become the disciple. How many are there who know the meaning of that Word? O Sadhu! practice that Word! The Vedas and the Puranas proclaim it, The world is established in it, The Rishis and devotees speak of it: But none knows the mystery of the Word. The householder leaves his house when he hears it, The ascetic comes back to love when he hears it, The Six Philosophies expound it, The Spirit of Renunciation points to that Word, From that Word the world-form has sprung, That Word reveals all. Kabir says: ‘But who knows whence the Word cometh?’”

Divine Mercy of the Most Holy One: Selections from the Kabbalistic Zohar, Part 2 of 2

Divine Mercy of the Most Holy One: Selections from the Kabbalistic Zohar, Part 2 of 2

“We have learned in the ‘Book of Concealed Mystery’ that every work exists in order that it may procure increase for Mercy, and that it may establish the same; also, that this is not to be cut off nor removed from the world. This is that which is written: ‘And My Compassion shall not depart from thee.’ Namely, the Compassion of the Ancient of Days. And this compassion of the Ancient of Days is the mercy of truth. And (this phrase) ‘mercy of truth’ is not said concerning the life of the body, but concerning the life of the soul.” “Also, we have learned that from those apples goes forth the life of the universe, like as it is written, Numbers 6:25 ‘The Lord makes His countenance to shine upon thee.’ Here is understood the exterior countenance which when it shines, blesses the universe. And we have learned that whensoever those external inner Heavenly Lights shine, He blesses the whole world, and wrath is no longer found in the universe.” “This is that which is said, ‘May He return and have mercy upon us!’ May He return, that is, again; whence it is to be noticed that sometimes they are concealed and sometimes uncovered; wherefore it is said: ‘May He return and have mercy upon us!’” “Rabbi Eleazar, his son, arose, and commenced, and said: ‘All things depend from the Divine influx, even the Book of the Law (The Torah) in the Temple. This we understood from the ‘Book of Concealed Mystery.’ Therefore, do not then all things depend from the Divine influx? Also, we have learned that the Book of the Law (The Torah) must be Holy, and its covering Holy, and the Temple Holy.”“Also, we have learned that all things depend from that Divine Influx which is (symbolised by) that tress of (hair of the beard) from which all (the other) hairs depend. Why is this called the Divine Influx? Because from it depend the influences and the influences of the influences, and from it come forth those which are above and those which are below. And that in it, all the things of the universe depend, superiors and inferiors; also in the last place the Book of the Law (The Torah), which is in the Temple, and is crowned with the ten Holinesses, is not excepted, hence with the other Holinesses. All things depend from the Divine Influx.”

Divine Mercy of the Most Holy One: Selections from the Kabbalistic Zohar, Part 1 of 2

Divine Mercy of the Most Holy One: Selections from the Kabbalistic Zohar, Part 1 of 2

Kabbalah is the ancient mystical school of thought of Judaism. Literally meaning “the received,” Kabbalah is also an esoteric method believed to have been revealed to elect saints and preserved by a certain few since the time of the Garden of Eden. Kabbalah aims to explain the relationship between God – the unchanging and eternal Ein Sof (The Infinite), and God’s creation – the mortal and finite universe. One of the most foundational of the Kabbalistic texts is the Sefer HaZohar, a Kabbalistic commentary on the Torah, which means the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. Today, we will be presenting selections from the Great Holy Assembly, a volume of the Zohar where Rabbi Schimeon leads a group of holy sages through a discussion of the principles of Divine mercy as symbolized by the various parts of the beard of Macroprosopus. Macroprosopus is an aspect of Divine emanation in the Kabbalah, representing Divine will and the source of Divine compassion. “Rabbi Schimeon began, and said: Woe unto him who extends his hand unto that most glorious supernal beard of the Holy Ancient One, the concealed of all. That is the beard of adornment, true and perfect, from which flow down thirteen fountains, scattering the most precious balm of splendor. The beard of ornament of the Ancient of the Ancient Ones, the most concealed of all things, is configurated in thirteen dispositions.” “We have taught in the ‘Book of Concealed Mystery,’ that certain (dispositions) are found in the universe, according to those thirteen (dispositions) which depend from that venerable beard and they are opened out into the thirteen gates of mercies.”“All things are comprehended in those dispositions; all things raise themselves up in order that they may receive these dispositions of the Mighty King, of the Ancient One, the most concealed of all. And all those are mitigated by those ordinations of the King, the Ancient One.” “I have meditated, and lo, I have beheld the most excellent light of the supernal inner Heavenly Lights. It shone forth, and ascended on three hundred and twenty-five sides. And in that inner Heavenly Light was a certain obscurity washed away, like as when a man bathes in a deep river, whose divided waters flow round him on every side from that part which is above. And that inner Heavenly Light ascends unto the shore of the deep superior sea. I asked of them what might be the interpretation of that which I beheld; and, commencing they replied, ‘Thou hast beheld iniquity being taken away.’”

Selections from “Pistis Sophia” – Chapters 8 to 13, Part 2 of 2

Today, we are honored to share with you excerpts from Chapters 8 through 13 of “Pistis Sophia.” Let us continue with the Vesture (clothing) of (inner Heavenly) Light which has been given to Lord Jesus Christ, and its power and magnificence. “‘And in this [third] Vesture (clothing), which we have just sent thee, is the glory of the name of the mystery of the Revealer, which is the First Commandment, and of the mystery of the five Impressions, and of the mystery of the great Envoy of the Ineffable (God), who is the great Light, and of the mystery of the five Leaders, who are the five Helpers. There is further in this Vesture the glory of the name of the mystery of all orders of the emanations (original source) of the Treasury of the Light and of their saviors, and [of the mystery] of the orders of the orders, which are the seven Amens and the seven Voices and the five Trees and the three Amens and the Twin-savior, that is the Child of the Child, and of the mystery of the nine guards of the three gates of the Treasury of the Light.’”“‘It came to pass then, when I saw the mystery of all these words in the Vesture which was sent me, that straightaway I clothed myself therewith, and I shone most exceedingly and soared into the height.’”“‘I entered into the houses of the sphere, shining most exceedingly, and there was no measure to the (inner Heavenly) Light that was about me. And all the rulers and all those who are in that sphere, fell into agitation one against another. And they saw the great (inner Heavenly) Light that was about me, and they gazed upon my Vesture and saw thereon the mystery of their name.’”“‘And I left that region behind me and came to the gate of the second sphere, which is the Fate. Then were all its gates thrown into agitation and opened of themselves. And I entered into the houses of the Fate, shining most exceedingly, and there was no measure for the (inner Heavenly) Light that was about me, for I shone in the Fate forty-and-nine times more than in the [first] sphere.’”“‘And all the rulers and all those who are in the Fate, were thrown into agitation and fell on one another and were in exceeding great fear on seeing the great (inner Heavenly) Light that was about me. And they gazed on my Vesture of (inner Heavenly) Light and saw the mystery of their name on my Vesture and fell into still greater agitation; and they were in great fear, saying: 'How hath the Lord of the universe passed through us without our knowing?'"

Selections from “Pistis Sophia” – Chapters 8 to 13, Part 1 of 2

“Pistis Sophia,” meaning “Faith-Wisdom,” or “Faith in the Light,” is a Gnostic scripture of teachings given by Lord Jesus Christ in the 11 years following His resurrection.Today, it is an honor to share with you excerpts from Chapters 8 through 13 of “Pistis Sophia,” where the Lord Jesus Christ reveals the Divine happenings which were set in place before He and His disciples were born on Earth, as well as the role of the First Mystery, in all that has happened. “And Jesus continued again in the discourse and said: ‘It came to pass then thereafter, that at the command of the First Mystery I looked down on the world of mankind and found Mary, who is called “my mother” according to the body of matter. I spoke with Her in the type of Gabriel, and when She had turned Herself to the height towards me, I cast thence into Her the first power which I had received from Barbelo – that is the body which I have borne in the height. And instead of the soul I cast into Her the power which I have received from the great Sabaoth (the hosts of Heaven), the Good, who is in the region of the Right.’” “‘This [power], which from the beginning I brought out of myself, I have cast into the First Commandment, and the First Commandment cast a portion thereof into the great (inner Heavenly) Light, and the great Light cast a portion of that which it had received, into the five Helpers, and the last Helper took a portion of that which it received, and cast it into the Mixture. And [this portion] is in all who are in the Mixture, as I have just said unto you.’” “‘Lo, I have then put on my Vesture, and all authority hath been given me through the First Mystery. Yet a little while and I will tell you the mystery of the universe and the fulness of the universe; and I will hide nothing from you from this hour on. I will tell you all mysteries from the exteriors of the exteriors to the interiors of the interiors. But hearken that I may tell you all things which have befallen me.’” “‘O Mystery, which is without in the world, for whose sake the universe hath arisen, – this is the total outgoing and the total ascent, which hath emanated (originated) all emanations (original sources) and all that is therein and for whose sake all mysteries and all their regions have arisen, – come hither unto us, for we are thy fellow-members. We are all with thyself; we are one and the same.’”

Selections from the Holy Text of Tibetan Buddhism: Sixty Songs of Milarepa (vegetarian) – Songs 43-44, 46-50, Part 2 of 2

14:10

Selections from the Holy Text of Tibetan Buddhism: Sixty Songs of Milarepa (vegetarian) – Songs 43-44, 46-50, Part 2 of 2

“‘The Six Paramitas (Perfections) contain all Buddhist teachings. To those who practice Dharma (true teaching), Wealth is but a cause of diversion. He who gives his (wealth) all away, Will be born a Prince of Heaven. Noble is it to practice charity! Moral discipline is a ladder to Liberation Which neither monks nor laymen can discard; All Buddhist followers should practice it! Buddhist patience, by the Patience-preacher exemplified, Is the virtue which the Buddha cherished most. It is a garment difficult to wear, Yet all merits grow when it is worn. Diligence is the short path to Freedom And a necessity for Dharma-practice. Without it nothing can be done. Ride then upon the horse of diligence! These four Dharmas (true teachings) bring merit to men, Being indispensable for all. Now I will speak of Wisdom. Meditation is a teaching between these two, As it applies both to Wisdom and Merit practice. By it, all distractions are overcome, For all Buddhist practice, it is most important. Wisdom-Paramita (Perfection) is the teaching of Final Truth, The dearest treasure of all Buddhas. Enjoy it then without exhaustion. It is the Wish-fulfilling Gem of Heaven, Fulfilling the hopes of all sentient beings. To those who can renounce activities, Wisdom-Paramita (Perfection) will bring final rest. This provision of Wisdom is most precious, Whereby, one will reach perfection step by step.’”“‘If to Nirvana (the highest paradise) you aspire, Abandon then this world. If from the depths of your heart You want to practice Dharma (true teaching), Listen to my words and follow in my footsteps. If you want to consummate the (Supreme) Accomplishment, Never forget that death will come. If hard and long you meditate, all Buddhas In the past, the present and the future Will be well-pleased. If you are ever straight-forward and upright in the Dharma (true teaching), You will receive the grace of your Guru. If without error you understand these words, You can be sure that more happiness And joy will come your way, For such is my experience.’” “‘Should you, oh, faithful lady Devas, Intend to practice the Dharma (true teaching) often, Inwardly you should practice concentration and contemplation. The renunciation of external affairs is your adornment. Oh, bear in mind this remedy for external involvement! With self-composure and mindfulness, You should remain serene. Glory is the equanimity of your mind and speech! Glory is the resignation from many actions! Should you meet disagreeable conditions, Disturbing to your mind, Keep watch upon yourself and be alert. Keep warning yourself: “The danger of anger is on its way”. When you meet with enticing wealth, Keep watch upon yourself and be alert. Keep a check upon yourself: “The danger of craving is on its way”. Should hurtful, insulting words come to your ears, Keep watch upon yourself and be alert, And so remind yourself: “Hurtful sounds are but delusions of the ear”. When you associate with your friends, Watch carefully and warn yourself: “Let not jealousy in my heart arise” When you are plied with services and offerings, Be alert and warn yourself: “Let me beware lest pride should spring up in my heart!” At all times, in every way, keep watch upon yourself. At all times, try to conquer evil thoughts within you! Whatever you may meet in your daily doings, You should contemplate its void and illusory nature. Were even one hundred saints and scholars gathered here, More than this they could not say. May you all be happy and prosperous! May you all, with joyful hearts, Devote yourselves to the practice of the Dharma (true teaching)!’”

Selections from the Holy Text of Tibetan Buddhism: Sixty Songs of Milarepa (vegetarian) – Songs 43-44, 46-50, Part 1 of 2

One of the renowned Masters of this religion is Jetsun Milarepa, meaning Milarepa the Revered One. A former magician who became a yogi, poet, and hermit, this spiritual hero of Tibet lived from 1052 to 1135, and His story of personal redemption has inspired lives across many generations. Through songs called dohas, Jetsun Milarepa imparted Divine teachings on spiritual devotion and wisdom. Supreme Master Ching Hai has spoken about the venerated Milarepa on several occasions, as during this lecture given in 1992, at the Hsihu Ashram in Taiwan, also known as Formosa. “Milarepa, His faith in seeking the Truth was very firm. He was terrified of hell and knew that His karma was unimaginable. So no matter how much His Master scolded Him, He endured it. His faith was from inside. He wasn't taught to do so. No one taught Him to do so and no one forced Him. From the hardships that He underwent, we can see why He was able to attain the Truth.” “Milarepa sang in reply: ‘Property and wealth are like dew on grass; Knowing this, gladly should one give them away. It is most precious to be born a leisured and worthy human being; Knowing this, one should with care observe the precepts As if protecting one’s own eyes. Anger is the cause of falling to the realms below; Knowing this, one should refrain from wrath, Even at the risk of life. Benefit to oneself and to others Can never be achieved through sloth; Strive, therefore, to do good deeds. A perturbed, wandering mind Never sees the truth of Mahayana (the Buddha’s Great Way of Wisdom-Compassion); Practice, therefore, concentration. The Buddha cannot be found through searching; So contemplate your own mind. Until the autumn mists dissolve into the sky, Strive on with faith and determination.’” “‘If the poisonous snake of Klesa (defilement) is not killed, The yearning for wisdom only leads to fallacy. If venomous jealousy is not overcome, One’s yearning for the Bodhi-mind will be an illusion. If one refrains not from hurting people, One’s longing for respect and honor Is merely wishful thinking. If one cannot conquer ego-clinging and prejudice, One’s craving for the Equality of Dharma (true teaching) Only brings wrong views. If one cannot subdue the demon, clinging-ego, One’s Klesas (defilements) will be great and his Yoga bound to fail. If one’s actions conform not with the Dharma (true teaching), One will always hinder the good deeds of others. If one has not yet absorbed one’s mind in Dharma (true teaching), One’s babbling and prattling will only disturb others’ minds. Therefore, do not waste your life in words and chatter, But try to gain the assurance of no-regret And the confidence of facing death!’”

Love and Knowledge Will Conquer All – From “Leaves of Morya’s Garden” by Nicholas and Helena Roerich (vegetarians), Part 2 of 2

Let us continue with the book “Leaves of Morya’s Garden,” where the venerable Master Morya explains the love and care of the Enlightened Master to their disciples, as well as how disciples should be brave, benevolent, and true to the Truth.“Naught can deter the Hand of the Creator of the New World. I say unto you: My Shield has taken many arrows, but at the Spirit’s Feast We will assemble, victorious. I know My Daughter wishes to adorn with roses the path to My School, but these times are bitter and cold. All will be well. Displaying fearlessness, you show a noble example to those around you. I teach you to face life’s experiences with hearts alight. I shall explain - I am hastening your karma, and on the way, I strip away all masks, that you may see. Your power increases at the understanding of another soul. You will reach the goal predestined for you by Christ.” “Better to pay heavily, the sooner to learn the predestined path. The eye will perceive instead of briars a garden nurtured by love. The heart is aware of the phantoms of the mind, but it knows the truth.”“As often as Karma permits, My Hand removes the dangers from your path. Earthly ways obscure the view of the mountains, yet you shall reach them.” “Morya has many towers and sentinels upon the slopes of the Himalayas. None without a guide shall penetrate the snowy barriers. Amidst the glaciers, Giants keep watch over the currents of the world.”“My Hands overflow with bounty, but opponents must be stopped. I shall manifest the power of My Teachings to those of narrow mind.” “On pure soil do you begin My Manifestations. I shall point out the time for every pure beginning. Need will not afflict you. Outer laws will not violate your inner order.” “Only with great travail can the Hand of Truth bend the prison bars. From Above rain words of Truth, and men have unfurled umbrellas to shield themselves from the downpour of God’s Clouds. But the shower will reach even their dry hearts.”

Love and Knowledge Will Conquer All – From “Leaves of Morya’s Garden” by Nicholas and Helena Roerich (vegetarians), Part 1 of 2

The esteemed mystical and philosophical writers Nicholas and Helena Roerich are two of the most influential spiritual thought leaders from Russia, recognized for founding the doctrine of Agni Yoga, also known as Living Ethics. Traveling extensively throughout Asia to deepen their spiritual studies, the Roerichs eventually met their Master in Darjeeling, India. Morya revealed messages of higher wisdom to Nicholas and Helena Roerich, which they recorded on paper and later gathered into a series of texts. Today, we will present excerpts from the lovingly dictated messages of Master Morya, as recorded by his disciples, in the book “Leaves of Morya’s Garden.”“When satisfied with worldly life, the spirit cannot enter the Promised Temple. True happiness knocks at the heart’s portals, but the Holy Words are not given entrance. Happiness rejected is happiness departed. I send you Bliss.” “A miracle performed is like a lamp when lit. Afterwards, none will remember the darkness of the chamber. God knows all worlds. Love and create, and full joy will come. Wonders are manifest in life. Open your eyes and you will perceive.”“The unworthy will depart. The Great Plan for the rise of the new race is wisely designed.”“When amidst the highest vibrations, the body is transformed. The body obeys the spirit.” “Love and knowledge will conquer all. Your spirit will ascend and you will pass by the uncomprehending ones swiftly, as you would mileposts on the way. Smile at the difficulties upon your path. I vouch, you will conquer!” “Miracles surround you, but amidst life’s tumult you heed them not. Inscrutable are the ways of God in their infinite means to bring the message of the spirit; even a blade of grass can convey the Tablet of Commandments.” “It is better to trust your Guide upon the night path than to grope your way, alone in the dark. My children, these hazardous days will pass and you will safely enter the New World by the appointed path.”

Be, Rather than Appear to Be – Excerpt from the Essay “Spiritual Laws” by Ralph Waldo Emerson (vegetarian)

Be, Rather than Appear to Be – Excerpt from the Essay “Spiritual Laws” by Ralph Waldo Emerson (vegetarian)

Ralph Waldo Emerson was a renowned 19th-century American essayist, philosopher, lecturer, poet, and a leader of the transcendental philosophical movement. Emerson is most famous for his essays, through which he expresses ideas of freedom, spirituality, individuality, the great ability of humans to have profound realizations and the relationship between the soul and the surrounding world. Today, we will read a selection from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Essays, First Series, Essay 4 entitled “Spiritual Laws,” in which the philosopher talks about the virtues of humankind with an in depth description on mannerisms, nature, and our belief in God. “Over all things that are agreeable to his nature and genius, the man has the highest right. Everywhere he may take what belongs to his spiritual estate, nor can he take anything else, though all doors were open, nor can all the force of men hinder him from taking so much.”“God screens us evermore from premature ideas. Our eyes are holden that we cannot see things that stare us in the face, until the hour arrives when the mind is ripened; then we behold them, and the time when we saw them not is like a dream.”“A man passes for that he is worth. What he is engraves itself on his face, on his form, on his fortunes, in letters of light. Concealment avails him nothing; boasting nothing. There is confession in the glances of our eyes; in our smiles; in salutations; and the grasp of hands.”“Virtue is the adherence in action to the nature of things, and the nature of things makes it prevalent. It consists in a perpetual substitution of being for seeming, and with sublime propriety God is described as saying, I am. The lesson which these observations convey is, be, and not seem. Let us acquiesce. Let us take our bloated nothingness out of the path of the divine circuits. Let us unlearn our wisdom of the world. Let us lie low in the Lord's power, and learn that truth alone makes rich and great.”

From Sacred Jainism Scripture “Uttaradhyayana” – Lectures 11 & 12, Part 2 of 2

We now invite you to continue listening to excerpts from the Twelfth lecture of “Uttaradhyayana,” one of the most important scriptures in Jainism. The story continued, as Harikesa-Bala, a great rishi, was badly treated by priests. “‘I am a chaste Sramana, controlling myself; I have no property, nothing belonging to me, and do not cook my food; I have come for food which is dressed for somebody else at the time when I call.’” “‘All the world knows that we are (as it were) the field on which gifts sown grow up as merit; Brahmanas of pure birth and knowledge are the blessed fields.’” “‘He is that austere ascetic, of noble nature, who subdues his senses and controls himself; the chaste man, who would not accept me when my own father, king Kausalika, gave me to him.’ ‘He is the man of great fame and might, of awful piety and power; do not injure him who cannot be injured, lest he consume you all by the fire (of his virtue).’” “‘Prostrate yourself before him for protection, you together with all of them, if you want to save your life and your property; for in his wrath he might reduce the world to ashes.’” “‘Doing no injury to living beings of the six orders, abstaining from lying and from taking what is not freely given, renouncing property, women, pride, and deceit, men should live under self-restraint.” “‘Penance is my fire; life my fireplace; right exertion is my sacrificial ladle; the body the dried cowdung; Karma is my fuel; self-control, right exertion, and tranquility are the oblations, praised by the sages, which I offer.’” “‘The Law (spiritual precepts) is my pond, celibacy my holy bathing-place, which is not turbid, and throughout clear for the soul; there I make ablutions; pure, clean, and thoroughly cooled I get rid of hatred (or impurity).’ ‘The clever ones have discovered such bathing, it is the great bath praised by the seers, in which the great seers bathe, and, pure and clean, they obtain the highest place.’”

From Sacred Jainism Scripture “Uttaradhyayana” – Lectures 11 & 12, Part 1 of 2

13:22

From Sacred Jainism Scripture “Uttaradhyayana” – Lectures 11 & 12, Part 1 of 2

The Jain lineage includes 24 Tirthankaras, or Beings who share Their enlightenment with others. The Tirthankaras’ teachings comprise the Agam sutras, which are the holy scriptures of Jainism. The 24th and last Tirthankara was Lord Mahavira, whose name means “Great Hero.” Born into a royal family in 599 BC, Prince Mahavira decided as a young man to pursue a solitary spiritual life. After 12 years of intensive meditation, He attained kevala jnana, or the highest wisdom. Supreme Master Ching Hai has offered tribute to the spiritual greatness of Lord Mahavira, as during lectures given in Taiwan, also known as Formosa, on various occasions. “I don’t know if anyone in the history of mankind could have done or could be doing or will be doing such an asceticism, such a sacrifice like the Lord Mahavira. We really salute Him and are grateful - to all that He had to endure for enlightenment, for the sake of others. All these sufferings are not for naught. They would benefit the world in some way or another, even without the Lord Mahavira knowing or even without the world people knowing or being grateful for.” Eleventh Lecture The Very Learned “He who is ignorant of the truth, egoistical, greedy, without self-discipline, and who talks loosely, is called ill-behaved and void of learning. There are five causes which render wholesome discipline impossible: egoism, delusion, carelessness, illness, and idleness. The eight causes of the discipline called virtue, namely: not to be fond of mirth, to control one's self, not to speak evil of others, not to be without discipline, not to be of wrong discipline, not to be covetous, not to be choleric, to love the truth; for they influence the discipline called virtue. A monk who is liable to the following fourteen charges, is called ill-behaved, and does not reach Nirvana: If he is frequently angry; if he perseveres in his wrath; if he spurns friendly advice; if he is proud of his learning; if he finds fault with others; if he is angry even with friends; if he speaks evil even of a good friend behind his back; if he is aggressive in his assertions; if he is malicious, egoistical, greedy, without self-discipline; if he does not share with others; if he is always unkind: then he is called ill-behaved.He who always acknowledges his allegiance to his teacher, who has religious zeal and ardor for study, who is kind in words and actions, deserves to be instructed.”

The True Christ Power, Part 9 of 9, May 30: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

22:17

The True Christ Power, Part 9 of 9, May 30: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

“As you sow, so shall you reap.” If we cause suffering to any beings in any form, directly or indirectly, we can never be completely feeling guiltless and, therefore, we cannot completely be happy. (What is the reason that, for some people, life goes all right, and for some people, they get all of a sudden injured in a traffic accident, or they take too much medication, or they get hospitalized or to be put into a mental institute, maybe? What is the reason that for some people, life goes all right, and some people obvious end up in trouble, hurt?)There are two reasons for things that happen in our lives. The first reason is that “as you sow, so shall you reap” – if we did something wrong, this wrong thing will return to us. And another reason is before we were born into this world, we have chosen certain events to happen to us so that we can experience and progress more in our spiritual practice. (In Finnish first, I have to translate. My name is Ebenezer. You mentioned that in order to get to a certain spiritual level, we should have less things to think of. My question is: in the world we live, we really have to be hardworking to survive. This has taken all the time we have. How then do we survive, thinking of spiritual growth in this sense? End of question.)I don't ask you to leave anything. I just ask you to leave the coarse energies of animal-people’ meat so that you can practice to see God better. (In Finnish. May I ask when shall we return to the place where we have been? That means that, before we came here, where were we?)It's up to you. You can return now after this lecture or you can return any other time. (To where? Where were we before this time?) To the Kingdom of God, to where you came from. (Next question. Please explain the goal and the process of Your system. Please explain about the Quan Yin Method.)Quan Yin is just the Chinese word for listening to the Word of God inside us. I started in Taiwan (Formosa), so it's the name, it's just become like... continued, but otherwise, in the Western terms, we can say “contemplation of the Word on God.” And there is no verbal system; it's just (that) the real power of God will re-open within yourself in silence. The verbal instruction is just to tell you what not to do, how to distinguish between the God and the fake, the devil who fakes Hirm, and which kind of signal, like what kind of Light, what kind of Sound you will hear, in which different mansions of God, so that you'll know what level you are in. (Next question in Finnish. Many people despise animal-people and just abuse them or utilize them, exploit them, consider them of lesser value and torture them. I love animal-people and I wish You would show in Your speech, if possible, the value of the animal-people.)Yes, that's why I ask you, I advise people to be vegan, to extend our love to lesser brothers and sisters who are more defenseless, who are weaker than us. In the Bible, God said that, “I made all the animal-people to be your friends and your helpers.” Hes did not tell us to eat them. (Next question in Finnish. What do You think of angels and spiritual leaders?)Angels, they are our friends. The ones who know God have so many angels surrounding them, to help them. And spiritual leaders, you mean the invisible ones? (I don't know, he didn't say.) OK, the visible ones are the ones who teach us how to go back to God, if they have enough High-level of attainment themselves. And the invisible ones are the ones who have left this physical body or the ones who have not come to this physical body. If they are good spiritual beings, they also help us in our daily meditation. Next one, please. (What is enlightenment?) This you cannot talk, you have to experience. Just stay after. Let me know, then I will show you. Come one, quick. (A Finnish, question. Is there a contradiction between Your explanation of the birth of the world, or when the world came into existence, and the scientific explanation of how the world came about? How the world was created.) Ah, the creation. (Creation, OK.) The scientists only know the physical aspect. Because they study only material science; they have not studied spiritual science. That's why when a person dies, everything is still there, but he doesn't function – because the spiritual being has left the material being. (Last question, in Finnish. Can I be happy with God even if I am not a vegetarian?)Well, the answer, you know it yourself: “As you sow, so shall you reap.” If we cause suffering to any beings in any form, directly or indirectly, we can never be completely feeling guiltless and, therefore, we cannot completely be happy. We can be happy to some extent. Right. OK, anything else? No more? Ah, fantastic! OK! Thank you. I'll see you in a short while. OK. For the ones who'd like to know, please stay here. And the ones who don't want to know, God bless you and goodbye.God is something very precious. If you want to know Hirm, you have to make an effort. Go out and put you name down, and be serious about it. Then I will be serious with you. I’ll teach you everything that I know. OK, I'll see you after a while. (Right now, a little message to everybody here as there are a lot of people who have got the curiosity about the Quan Yin Method. So, there are a lot of people outside right down there in the hall, collecting the initiation forms and filling them in. So, I kindly remind those who are still interested, please, you are welcome to do that. And when everybody’s ready, we can get started. We are happy to see that there were so many interested people. And I’ll say it in Finnish also.Everybody, there are fruits blessed by Master, ocean of fruits and flowers. So, whoever is in need of Her precious blessing, please feel free to come close to Master. So please come to the front, whoever wants to be in touch with Master. And when you are ready with the initiation forms, please don’t worry; you can sit down in the hall and just relax for a little while and wait. So, we’ll call you all up; we’ll guide you to the meditation as soon as everything is ready. Thank you very much.)

The True Christ Power, Part 8 of 9: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

20:53

The True Christ Power, Part 8 of 9: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

True happiness only comes from knowing God, which is the essence of our being. But in this world there are also some substitutions for happiness, and we can feel them temporarily. But the true happiness, we cannot compare to any of the so-called happiness in this world. I pay my own tickets, I pay my own hotel, I pay my own food. I risk airplane prob… airplane. I risk my life, I risk my health, I forsake my pleasure. I waste my time coming here just because I know that the way to God, there is only one, and everyone can know it. The way to end all this war and misunderstanding is just to know God, and I know this God, and Hes told me to tell you. And I will never ask one penny from you until the day you die or the day I die. Any service from me is free of charge. So you must know, I don’t collect donations. You must know the reason why I do it is because of the mandate of Heaven, because God orders me to do it. I am not for any fame and profit of this world because I have Hiers Kingdom in my heart. So, believe it or not, it is up to you. Thank you. All right, next question. Thank you. Thank you. (First in Finnish. Can eggs be included in a vegetarian diet?) Eggs, no. Why? I will explain. Eggs contain the life, the cycle of birth and death, the force of birth and death. And, we never know whether the egg is fertile or not fertile and we might eat the embryo of the egg.You are tired, huh? We’ll finish soon. It’s a very difficult job to translate. Also, eggs will attract negative energy. That's the reason why many of the magicians, they use eggs sometimes in an exorcism to draw the negative, possessed energy from a possessed person. You know that. Maybe you know. And sometimes they use eggs to feed the invisible low spirits so that they can boss them around and tell them to do bad things. So we do not want to have egg inside our body in case we might draw the negative energy directly to us. That's why we exclude eggs in our diet. OK, next one, please. Last one? (First in Finnish. What means “happiness”? Somebody said, “Whoever is better than another, that's happiness.” What is Your idea?) Happiness? True happiness only comes from knowing God, which is the essence of our being. But in this world there are also some substitutions for happiness, and we can feel them temporarily. But the true happiness, we cannot compare to any of the so-called happiness in this world. Some more? Some more questions? OK, let’s have it quick, so we can show people God. (Excuse me.) Yes, sir. (Yes. I would like very much to hear what is Your method) Yes, yes. (and what are You going to talk…?) Yes, yes, yes. I will show you, for the interested ones only. (Do we have any time to make those questions after You have told us about this method?) Questions are plenty. We can ask anytime. But the method, I will show only to the interested persons. I cannot force it upon the whole of the people who don’t want to know. You understand? (I understand, but You are going to…) Yeah, I will, I will show you. (OK. First in Finnish.) OK. Can I make a quick announcement? Those who want to know the method, you can go out and announce your name there and later we’ll call you, in the meanwhile, so you don’t have to wait long. And when I finish these questions, you come in, and we’ll start right away, so you don’t have to wait. You can go now, can go now, please. Can you announce it? Yes, yes, yes. You can go also. (OK.) All right. Yes, you, question, yes. Please be quiet. (I want to know my original source. How can I see it? Who can show it to me, my original source?) Who can I see or whom? (How can I see it?) How! Oh, God! (Who can show it to me?) I will show you; I will show you. If you let me know you are interested, go outside and put your name down. I’ll show you very shortly. (In Finnish.) All right. (Next question in Finnish. I am impatient and I would like to see the mind's nature. How can I see it or who could show it to me?)I think some of you would have seen a little of God while listening to my lecture also, just you didn't say it. Yes, yes, right? Some people say “yes.”And one of the gentlemen says, “Yes, yes.” If you are pure enough in your heart while listening to me, you already see the Light all over here; you have seen God or you have seen Christ already. But I will show you more after this. (Next question in Finnish. In English. Are there any dangers in meditation?) Any what, honey? (Is it in any way dangerous to meditate?)Oh. Yes, it is, if you don't know it properly. You must get the instruction and then you can do it alone at home, because you must know how to distinguish between the real and the illusion, because sometimes Satan, he comes and poses as the fake Jesus Christ and talks nonsense to you, and if you don't know the way to discriminate, you’d listen to the devil instead of Jesus Christ. That's why I have to take time to take care of you, to explain to you before you see God, how to distinguish. That takes a little time. (For what universal purpose a person must develop spiritually? Is this energy needed or this Light needed? Why do we have to develop spiritually?)Because, first, so that we can get out of suffering and frustration and limited freedom. Second, to bless ourselves and the universe and all the loved ones so that we can avoid hell and go to Heaven. (In Finnish, next question first. In English. Ordinary people, can they become enlightened, and if so, how? What kind of meditation do You use to become enlightened?)I am here for all the ordinary people. I am not here for the president of Finland. He can also learn, but... Yes. We are all ordinary, but we are all great because we are the children of God. There are no “ordinary people.” (Next question in Finnish. From the age of seven, I have prayed to God. Why can't I hear or feel any kind of answer? I am about to lose my faith.) Yes, yes. (In Finnish now, I am...)No, that’s right. Everybody prays to God but often don't get the answer because they are not connected with the God inside. That's why I am here to revive your faith again in God, so do not lose faith in God because God is there. I am going to show you Hirm so that you can believe Hirm again, and then, you don't even have to pray – God answers you, even before you pray. God answers us all the time, it's just that we don't have the spiritual “ear” open so we cannot hear Hirm. I am going to help you to open your Heavenly ear so you can hear Hirm.

The True Christ Power, Part 7 of 9: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

22:45

The True Christ Power, Part 7 of 9: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

I am very clear about God because Hes reveals to me inside myself. Your God, my God – same God – just that you don't know Hirm yet. I know Hirm. When you meditate with my method, you can see Jesus yourself and ask Him yourself. (In English. Considering the spiritual path, is it right and blessed to adopt children from another culture?)Culture and traditions are man-made, spiritual way is God-made. It's always the same for every race. So, you don't have to change any kind of outer way of living, just practice contacting God inside by yourself, alone. Look, I come here, I wear a Western outfit, it's all right. (What kind of outfit?) Western. Makes no difference. God is only one. There is no Chinese God, Finnish God, German God, French God. (Is Your relationship to God as servant to the master, or as equal?) As what to the Master? (Servant.) As servant? Oh. No, no. Equal! We are God. As in the beginning, maybe we are still so not used to our original position, we might worship God as a Master, and we feel ourselves as a servant, but later Hes will bless us to know that we are one with God. Just like Jesus said, “I and my Father are one.” God made man in Hiers own image, so we are a part of God. How can it be master or servant? There is no master; we are all masters. It's just the language of the world sometimes separates us. (Next question. In Finnish. In English. If we are God, who will decide whether we get to go to Heaven?) You decide. (Second question in Finnish. In English. Jesus said, “Who is not for me is against me.” This means we cannot be God, although You appeal to or You refer to the Bible and to Jesus.) Hmmm? (That was the question. Shall I repeat it?) I know, I know, but what do you think? The Bible says that you are the children of God, not I say it. The Bible says that God makes you in Hiers own image, not I say it. The Bible says that you are the temple of God, and God lives within you, not I say it. So if this body is just a temple, and God lives within you, and then who are you? You are not God, then who are you? Are you the devil? What do you think? If you come from God, then you are God, part of God, no? At least part of God. No? So how do you say that I’m against Jesus? It’s your misunderstanding. It is your misunderstanding.I am very clear about God because Hes reveals to me inside myself. Your God, my God – same God – just that you don't know Hirm yet. I know Hirm. When you meditate with my method, you can see Jesus yourself and ask Him yourself. Now, because you don't have access to Jesus, you don't have access to God, so you misunderstand a lot about what the Bible says and what I say. Yes? Yes, He is. Christ is the only way. Listen, listen. I know you have not spoken to Jesus. The way you said it, I know. Don’t tell lies, because God knows.Jesus is a son of God, Christ is a son of God – Christ. You explain to him. Christ is the only son of God, because there is only one God, and Christ is the spirit of God which descends into Jesus' body to teach mankind. And in every generation, this only son of God, Christ, the power, Christ power, will descend into any other human body to teach mankind again, again and again. And whenever we can see this Christ power manifested somewhere, that is the son of God manifested to save us. Jesus still exists, but in another dimension, and the Christ power is still with Him, as well as within anyone that God has chosen to give this power. And this Christ power, the only son of God, is also within us.And that's why Jesus said that, “Know you not that you are the temple of God, and the Holy Spirit dwells within you?” Do not deny yourself this glory because you have God within you, you have Christ power within you. Christ also said that, “Whatever I do, you can do also.” Christ did not tell us that we are less, we are different from Him. We can do whatever He does, that's what He said in the Bible. Did He not? He just came to show us the way to know the God within us. He came to tell us that, “What I do, you can do also.” He came to show us that; but, of course, if we have not reached the level of Jesus Christ when He was alive, we could not understand His teaching very well. That's why there are so many wars even within Christianity, because they fight between whether this Christian group's God is higher than the other Christian group's God. It's a very sad affair. I hope I’ve made it clear. Thank you. Next one, please.(In Finnish. As we can see similarities between different religions, for instance, the enlightenment, when it comes to enlightened persons, such as Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, what is the common ground for Godliness in various religions? Or is there such a common factor when it comes to God? What or which is God?)Yes, which is God, there is only one. There is only one God, you know that. The only wise thing to do is just come and know this God. I just show you, and then you call Hirm whatever names you like. If you have time to study different religious doctrines, you will understand that they all point to the same God. The reason we argue between religions is because of two reasons. Number one, we don't have time to study all the religious doctrines. We don't even have time to study the whole bible of our own religion, to be honest, so we don't see the same essence of the teaching of all great religions and great Masters.Number two reason is that we are not enlightened enough to understand the real meaning of the religious doctrine. Remember the ones who wrote the doctrines, the Bible, for example, the ones who wrote the Bible are enlightened Saints. In order to know what they are talking about, we have to be at their level, and we are not.So we argue back and forth, we blame each other, we accuse each other, we slander each other's religious faith, and kill each other sometimes, because “my God is better than your God.” It is a shame. Suppose, if I believe in God, I should be a loving and kind person. I would never kill anyone else. So, if we don't understand a religion, it's a very dangerous thing. So please, I invite you to come and enlighten yourself, and then you can understand, and then you can teach others to understand the true meaning of Christ. I have no reason to sit here and tell you nothing that is not Truth.

The True Christ Power, Part 6 of 9: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

18:56

The True Christ Power, Part 6 of 9: Questions and Answers, May 30, 1999

This method is for everything. Once we find God, we will have more peace and love inside to deal with all these human emotions in a better way.(I have a question, I hope You will solve this for me. I am a student, and I have lost my ability to concentrate and my motivation. How or in which way can I get these back? With the Quan Yin Method maybe? I cannot really start with my studies yet. I am suffering very much. Only You, Master Ching Hai, can help me, and also You can help other students as well.)When you start to grow up in your teenage life, there will be many distractions, and that's why it's difficult for you to concentrate. You can also practice a little bit of meditation. If you want Quan Yin Method, it's fine. If you cannot, then you can practice a simple method of concentration to help you. Also, try not to watch too much of the distracting movies, and not to look around at beautiful women or handsome men too much. After you finish your study, of course you can do anything you want. Think of your parents and your benefactors who work very hard for your study, and try to fulfill your obligation - because the student time is actually the best time - or later you will regret it. And tell yourself you must finish this study in front of you first, and everything else comes later; determine to finish. (If soul is eternal, the body lives only for a short time, how long does a persona live?)The soul lives forever, of course. The personality is just the habit that we acquire while we are in this physical body, and it lives as long as the physical body lasts. Next one, please. (Why do human beings have to be born on Earth? Why do we have to be born here?)Because we chose to. We chose to come here to gather a new experience on this planet, and when the time comes, we go back Home, or we come back again if we have not had enough satisfaction with the experience on Earth. (In English. Can an enlightened person live in a partnership relation, in an intimate relation?) Of course. Where do you think all these babies and children come from? Funny, I didn't come to ask you to become a monk. I only come to ask you to add God into your existing life, to make your life even more happy, more complete. Of course, you can be a monk if you want to, but that is not obligatory. (That is not?) Obligatory. Not necessary. (Is there a method for letting go? Letting go, like, sorrow, anger.) Of course. This method is for everything. Once we find God, we will have more peace and love inside to deal with all these human emotions in a better way. Please, the next one. (How can You show us God?)I just will. If you stay behind, you will know how. If you stay later, I'll show you how. (If I find God inside of me, as I really hope, how can I help my husband in his life? Can we still live together if he is not interested in this? What would happen to me if he is not interested in…?)Yes, of course, you can still live with him. As I said before, everyone has the right to choose his way of living. If you can live with a dog, cat, bird, why cannot you live with another human being? Interested in this method or not, he is still a God himself. When his time comes, he will choose to know God. Maybe his time has not come, then he chooses not to want to know. So, do not be anxious for somebody else's development. Be anxious only for your own. We can only offer something, but the person takes it or not, that's his own right. OK, thank you. It's getting better now. (What is most important to get you up in the meditation level, to find the harmonic level? Do You have any good, simple advice?)I will tell you how to help yourself during the transmission. It takes some time to tell you all this because you should learn it in a proper way; otherwise, the enlightenment takes just seconds. (Seconds?) Seconds, yes. (My name is Isaac. What can I do when I am depressed and frustrated about life? Do I seek medical help or spiritual help? If the answer is spiritual help, how do I seek it?)Every problem in this life comes from we don't know God, comes from the ignorance of God's power within ourselves. So finding God, we will be happy. Every problem will go away by itself. Talking too much doesn't help you – knowing God will help you.

The True Christ Power, Part 5 of 9, May 30, 1999

20:46

The True Christ Power, Part 5 of 9, May 30, 1999

Knowing God is not only to elevate ourselves: it will elevate the world; it will bless the world's atmosphere; it will have less war; it will have more peace, more love, more abundance to everyone around us.Therefore, the wisdom of the old Masters has taught us many things, such as we should love one another, such as we should be honest, such as we should love God with all our might. But how to love God, if we don't know Hirm? I am going to show you God, so that you can love Hirm and you can know Hiers love and blessing every day. Every religion talks about God, so much talk about God everywhere, it's about time we know God.Knowing God is not only to elevate ourselves: it will elevate the world; it will bless the world's atmosphere; it will have less war; it will have more peace, more love, more abundance to everyone around us. Because we will become the living pole of transmission of the love from Heaven, of the blessing from Heaven, and then it will emit from our being to the surroundings. So, knowing God, not simply just because we want to have the God power, it is because we want to love the world more, we want to bless the world more, and cause more happiness to our loved ones and to our planet – even larger, to the whole universe. Because we are all linked together with an invisible tie that we don't even see. It's just like all the atoms are linked together in every material subject in order to hold them in one piece. We are also like the atoms of the universe, and we make the universe’s construction exist in a solid manner, but invisible to the naked eye.So, if the Light, the power within us, is rekindled, then the whole universe will benefit. We originally came from God, and God has the same essence like we have.Although the Most High has no form, Hes can also manifest in different forms, just as in this physical body, like us sitting here, or in another kind of metaphysical form, which we will see inside while we meditate on Hirm. And this metaphysical form will teach us so many things that we want to know; will help us with all kinds of problems in this life and the next. We can even access Jesus, Buddhas, etc. – all the Masters in the past – and converse with Them, and let Them teach us Their wisdom until we reach Their height. All of us will wonder, “How come…” - if we say we are God - “How come we can become this physical body, which is so helpless and so cumbersome to carry around, which is so not free, so limited?” In my knowledge, in my meditation, God has shown me how it happened. It's difficult to explain in the human language, but I shall try my best.We were originally the essence of Light, the essence of the very fine, subtle vibratory energy which creates all these particles in the whole universe. By the process of churning, we have become condensed into this physical being. But then, I have also been shown that there is always a particle inside which has never been churned into physical being, inside us. That is the Lifesaver within ourselves, that is the so-called “the Holy Spirit that dwells within” this “temple of God.”We are at the bottom of the churning process of the Creation, that's why we are a little coarse, we are a little cumbersome, heavy. There are other finer vibrational energies which are floating above us, and we could have access to them if we raise our energy up to their standard. And now, there is still always this little spark within us that has never been contaminated, that has never been processed into physical energy, and that spark we can always have access to in order to return to where we have come from, to reverse the process, to go back to the original state of being, which is Light, which is the fine energy. And this Light, this fine energy, this fine so-called vibration – the “Word” in the Bible – this is God, this is our essence of being. So, to get in touch with this original, fine energy, original Light, original Word, that is to get in touch with God. Although God also can show us Hiers metaphysical form, as I have mentioned earlier, to converse with us.I hope I have made it a little clear to you. I believe that you are an intelligent race of people – you have understood. In case I have forgotten anything, please let me know and I will answer you, and then I can show you the practical question that you’ve come here for, that is, I can show you God. You can see Hirm right away. OK. Thank you for your attention. You have been so good, so good, so quiet. I could even hear my own breathing. Yes, any question, please address, then the translator will tell me. You can write in English also.(The first question was that we were talking about violence and the two forms of violence. There's the physical and mental violence in a family.) Violence? (Yes. And they say that, there’s always maybe one member in the family that is chosen as a scapegoat. And this member is being prejudiced against that they… This one person in the family has bad karma (retribution), and this person can be also forced into meditation against the person's will, which is against all the principles of meditation.) What kind of meditation is that? Nobody should force anybody into any kind of spiritual practice, meditation or not meditation. Everybody should choose what they want to do. Can you hear her? (Yes.) Good. Yes or no? (Yes.) OK, and what else is there? (The other...) Just very concentrated and simple. (OK. The other question is about the physical violence in the family. It's not right that the husband hits his wife or parents hit their children. But how to stop these things from happening? And how to give people better ways of dealing with conflicts in the family?)OK. Family problems always happen everywhere, and of course, we are civilized people, we should talk together. And if, after talking and discussing, it still doesn't work, then we have to think of a solution, either try to bear it, or separate.

The True Christ Power, Part 4 of 9, May 30, 1999

Once we surrender ourselves to God's power, once we have connected ourselves with God power and surrendered to this power, everything will be taken care of to the minute detail. I have been traveling more than a month now, and every two days one country, and I have always found that I landed next to whatever I need. That is the extreme case. When I was in Slovenia... I am telling you all these experiences to assure you that you will be OK. We think that we change the way of life from flesh to vegan, but in fact we only return to what is right, or what we have forgotten. You can be courageous and decide that, OK, you follow through from today, or you can say, “OK, I try first.” And we have two ways for you to suit yourself. But vegan alone doesn’t make you find God; I have to show you. Then you can contact God every day, directly, just like using the Nokia or the Ericsson to say “hallo.” Even more direct than that, face to face. We all hear about God and Heaven, but we have never seen one, so it's about time to see. If God is there, we should be able to see Hirm somehow. There must be a way. If Heaven exists, we must be able to enter it, at least to peep, have a look. If I am such a small, humble person and can see Heaven, can talk to God, I am sure all of you can do even better. You are much more intelligent. Or even the old lady, very old – she cleans my room – she speaks, fluently, English. And, in case you have worried about the vegan diet, then don't be, because even if I am a stranger in your land and in every other land, I can find my way, then you can. Once we surrender ourselves to God's power, once we have connected ourselves with God power and surrendered to this power, everything will be taken care of to the minute detail. (I have to speak louder.) Yes, please. Please, because some people are very far, and some people have problem hearing. (OK.) Yes, thank you very much. Can you turn the volume higher? I know you have a very gentle voice, but here we need… Big hall, you see. That’s how we find courage, and we find all the strength to deal with all kinds of obstacles and problems in this life, once we are connected with God. All the Saints in the past, they have never, ever feared death, however humankind, however the enemies wanted to torture them, even cut their limbs one by one; they have always seen the glory of God, because they are so blissful inside. That we can be oblivious to outer influence, and to the pain of the world – doesn't matter how much the world wants to inflict suffering on us – we will not be so affected. Ah, yes, go back to Slovenia. I forgot about that. Of course, we travel, the big groups are traveling here also in order to help out with buying fruit, setting up microphone and printing a lot of free books for you, arranging lecture for you. But I travel alone, apart from them.So normally, I would take a taxi, and my luggage is very small like this – I have almost the same clothes, wash and wear again – so I always take a taxi. But in Slovenia, I don't know why that day there were only two taxis and they were taken immediately; probably they were already ordered from previously, and so they just came, fetched the customers, and drove away. There were buses, but they were full of people. There were taxis all over in the city, it's just that that day, they were not in the airport – nothing. It was the first time it ever happened, that I didn’t find any taxi at any airport like that. So, I kept waiting for a long time, and no other taxi ever showed up.So, I had to go and rent a car. There were also our brothers and sisters who came, but I wanted to let the other people, other brothers and sisters, go in the car. Because if they take care of me, there will be too much trouble, and other people don't have a car. There are no taxis. So, I went and rented a car in a nearby booth. I am not a good driver; I just began two years ago. I hardly drive; I normally have drivers. It’s just when I want to show that I am independent, then I go out and drive myself. So I rented a car. And then when I finished all the paperwork and everything, it took half an hour. And then when I came out, I discovered that it's a stick shift, it's not automatic, and I have never, ever driven a stick shift in my life! But somehow, I managed to drive to the city. It was a scary adventure. Of course, I asked the Father, “Please, You drive!” Because I never knew how to drive this car before.I am a very simple country girl, I am not used to complicated, mechanical stuff. And I couldn't believe it – I drove in a strange city with no experience, nothing! I drove to the hotel in the city.I just want to tell you that if we truly have connection with God, we have no fear; we can do anything and we are always protected. So, have no fear of, even, that we don't have food to eat or we don't have a means of transportation or that any problem in life may arise. We must be courageous and follow whatever our heart tells us “that is right.” You can also try to go slowly, but we are man, we can decide quick. Besides, the reason is that, once we are in contact with God and we want to become one with God and we want to be God-like, a walking God on this planet, then we should represent Hiers quality, which is Love, and Love includes all beings. When we want to go into a higher dimension of Heaven – Heaven has many levels, just like in this society we have different classifications – if we want to go into the highest dimension of Heaven and know the deepest secret of the universe, we should have less and less burden as possible. And those things that we consume, such as alcohol, drugs and flesh, these are the burdens that are very detrimental to our journey to Heaven. Not that God cares about what we eat or what we take into our physical body. It is just that we must be purified physically, emotionally, and spiritually in order to be a unique being, glorified that we are, that is, the children of God.God loves us, no matter how much we sin. No matter how many blunders we committed, God always loves us, and in Hiers eyes, we are always Hiers children. But for ourselves, for our conscience, we should, we must walk the noble way of Love, in order to feel free from any guilt feeling, in order to be one with Hirm. Because originally, we are God, and eventually, we will become one with the Ocean of Love that is God again. We are God manifested in this physical world. So there is no one to judge us whether we are bad or we are good, except ourselves, our own wisdom, our own conscience, our own fairness of knowledge that will judge ourselves at the time of departure from this world. That's why we must rid ourselves of all this unnecessary burden so that we can recognize the pureness essence of original Self, which is from God, which is great, which is all-love, all-light, all-blessing. …I’m sorry. I am sorry. You are doing great. It's just I speak so fast.
