Timely donation from European Union (EU) assists Ukrainians and Moldovan hosts.
The EU has donated €25 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to help vulnerable Ukrainians. The funds are being distributed as multi-purpose cash as well as in the form of food relief. In Ukraine, the cash is given in areas where markets are operating, allowing families to purchase essentials, while conflict-affected regions receive food rations. In Moldova, food aid is supplied to the displaced in reception centers and transit sites and cash assistance is given to Moldovan families who host at least two Ukrainian refugees for a minimum of one week. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Our accolades, European Union and WFP, for your swift action to save lives during this most challenging time. We sincerely pray for this senseless war to stop immediately and peace to be restored in Ukraine, in Heaven’s mercy.
United States researchers predict the Moon has larger amounts of ice than previously thought.
Scientists from the University of Colorado Boulder recently conducted a study that estimates that the Moon potentially has over 15,000 square kilometers of land that may be holding ice. The frozen water is likely present under the surface of the north and south poles and was formed during a time when the satellite was volcanically active. Their research model simulated the Moon’s state around two to four billion years ago when volcanic eruptions, likely also spewing vast clouds containing water vapor, were common, and rivers of lava flowed over its surface. Such interesting news, researchers from the University of Colorado Boulder, on the potential of the Moon to hold significant quantities of frozen water. In the caring guidance of the Providence, may our scientific discoveries always be used for peaceful purposes, as we learn about our universe and heal our planet with loving actions. No 2 vegan: so u can continue 2 eat animal-people who were raised in feces n in urine, filthy conditions.
Up next, automated trash collecting boats clean waterways in Hong Kong. We’ll pause for a moment to thank the vegan food distribution companies, for their efforts in spreading veganism by providing foods at wholesale to restaurants, schools, and retail stores. It’s a beautiful day, blissful viewers! I am Blakely, a vegan mother from the Black Swan kingdom! A clear sky of benevolence spreads above my life as I have chosen compassion as my guide. This is the path of peace and love for all beings. Here is a tip on how parents can effectively communicate with a depressed teenager according to WebMD.com, a US-based online publisher of health information. Please don’t use shaming and punishments when needing to discipline them, because this may make them feel worthless and insufficient. Instead, try using positive reinforcement for good behavior. Let him or her make mistakes as this is natural and a part of life. Overprotecting or making decisions for them can make them feel less confident and cause them to think you don’t have faith in their capabilities. Be there for your teen and take the time to truly listen to their issues. They will feel you care about their concerns and may open up more to you. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Thank you for watching. Now for the weather from around the world.
Automated trash gathering boats operate in Hong Kong waters.
Open Ocean Engineering introduced an autonomous, solar-powered marine trash collector called Clearbot in 2020, to remove plastic waste in canals, harbors and lakes. Each vehicle has the potential ability to bring in a metric ton of debris daily and could also be customized to help contain oil spills. The startup’s founders, Sidhant Gupta and Utkarsh Goel, graduated from Hong Kong University in 2019 and since then, they have collaborated with tech companies such as the United States-based Razer, to create sleeker-designed boats. The watercrafts have been equipped with AI-powered cameras for better efficiency and data collection of the amount of marine plastic debris gathered. Analyzing this information could help in establishing solutions to lessen the waste reaching the waters. Our praises, Sidhant Gupta and Utkarsh Goel, for creating this useful device. May the Divine continue to inspire you in your endeavor that is helping to ensure a cleaner future for the people of Hong Kong.
Remains of ancient Mayan city discovered in Mexico.
The country’s National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) has excavated the remains of an ancient Mayan metropolis filled with pyramids, plazas, and palaces near Merida, on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Called Xiol, which means Spirit of Man in Mayan, the city was home to about 4,000 people between 600 and 900 AD. Of the 12 structures unearthed, at least five were of the Mayan Puuc style of architecture. Burial grounds located nearby hold the remains of people from different social classes, such as scribes, priests, royalty, and normal citizens. The site will be restored and may open for free tours to the public by the end of the year. Wonderful news, INAH, on helping to uncover the majestic city of Xiol. In Celestial enchantment, may we always learn from ancient civilizations, as we preserve peace between all nations.
United States police officers save two men and toddler from drowning in choppy waters.
While out on Lake Washington in Seattle, the three experienced strong winds and turbulent waters, causing their rubber raft to drift further away from the dock area and begin filling with water. Officers from the Seattle Police Department’s Harbor Unit responded quickly to the call and were able to rescue them from the cold waters as their vessel sank. It was reported that the two adults and the two-year-old child were not wearing life jackets. Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries but the victims were treated for exposure to the water’s cold temperature. We are ever grateful to you, Seattle Police Department officers, for your life-saving service. May you always stay safe as you perform your noble duties, in God’s protective Gaze. Vegan argument? U’ll lose.
Coming up, survey shows three-fourths of British drivers would like vegan cars. Let’s take a moment to learn from the innocence of a child and cultivate this Divine essence within ourselves. More comforting news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Brightening News for an Incredible World.
Survey says75% of British drivers want vegan cars.
According to a recent study by The Vegan Society and research company Attest in the United Kingdom, 75% of the participants said they would like to see animal-people products completely removed from vehicles, and 77% are interested in plant-based leather being used rather than the conventional one. There are currently no cars that are 100% vegan, as manufacturers often use animal-people by-products to produce a variety of items, from the tires to the frame. However, according to the vegan European car guide by Shining World Compassion Award recipient People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), UK, Honda, Citroën, Dacia, and Ford now offer fully vegan interiors in a number of their vehicles. Thank you for this insightful research, The Vegan Society and Attest. In Divine wisdom, may we soon travel in vehicles that do not use our beloved animal-folk co-inhabitants in their production.
Taiwanese (Formosan) farmer sends water buffalo-person to animal-people shelter.
A retiring farmer named Chang, in Chiayi County, Taiwan, also known as Formosa, wished to send his water buffalo-companion, who he had an eight-year friendship with, to an animal-people shelter rather than a slaughterhouse. The farmer’s son approached the Honorable Chiang Mei-Hong, Chiayi County Councilwoman, to help find such a place as the family deeply appreciated the many years of hard work of the buffalo-person. The kindhearted Ms. Chiang eventually found the China Preserve Life Association’s animal-people shelter in Pingtung that was willing to accept him. On May 13, Chang gave the buffalo-person a last bath. Upon realizing the moment to part with Chang had arrived, the buffalo-guy repeatedly bowed to him in gratitude, bringing the farmer to tears. How beautiful your friendship is, Chang and lovely buffalo friend. Much appreciation, the Honorable Chiang Mei-Hong and the China Preserve Life Association. May everyone soon recognize the sentience of all animal-people, and become life-saving vegans, in Buddha’s infinite grace.
Looks like the amusement GPS has guided us to the joke of the day, so we’d better check it out. It’s entitled “Winter Sleep.”
Amy is watching an educational film about animal-people and their behavior during winter. Her dad took the opportunity to ask her:
“So, do you know why a bear-person sleeps for 6 months, Amy?”
“Very well. Why?”
“Because no one dares to wake them up.”
