In today’s news, World Health Organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates sends to Ethiopia its largest ever single shipment of humanitarian cargo, study calls for drastic climate action to secure children’s future, company in United States produces biodegradable plant-based mask, British study reveals vegan meats improve gut microbiome, nineteen-year-old Egyptian-American inspires with his community engagement, top Swiss watchmaker to use vegan leather, and community efforts rescue beached whales in Argentina.

Ethiopia receives record 85 metric tons of humanitarian medical aid.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Logistics Hub in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), recently airlifted to Ethiopia its largest-ever single shipment of humanitarian aid to anywhere. The vital supplies, consisting of medicines and surgical equipment, as well as cholera kits and medical consumables, will help provide relief to more than 150,000 people in extreme need. The record-setting donation was delivered on a chartered flight sponsored by the UAE, a recipient of the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, Environment Protection, Protection, and Compassion. WHO and partners are continuing to use their immense humanitarian operations to address the ongoing health needs of almost 2.5 million vulnerable people in the current crisis. Thank you, WHO and United Arab Emirates, for your compassionate assistance. In Heaven’s all-loving protection and upliftment, may the kind Ethiopian people be blessed with peace and stability.

Research calls for drastic climate action to protect children’s rights.

A recent study published by the nongovernmental organization Save the Children International warns that if countries only follow the original Paris Agreement pledges, global temperatures will still rise by an estimated 2.6 to 3.1 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. This increase will lead to those born in 2020 facing significantly more extreme climate-related events than people born in 1960. On average, the young generation will face twice as many wildfires, 2.8 times more crop failures, 2.6 times more droughts, 2.8 times as many river floods, and 6.8 times more heatwaves than their grandparents. Sadly, those living in lower- and middle-income countries, as well as disadvantaged communities, will bear the majority of losses and damage in the areas of health, education, and housing. To secure children’s rights to a safe future, the publication calls for “ambitious and urgent” action to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Supreme Master Ching Hai has previously donated US$50,000 to Save the Children International to further its work. Our gratitude for this alarming, eye-opening report, Save the Children International. May humanity resolutely and swiftly embrace a green, vegan lifestyle to halt the climate crisis, in Divine merciful light. Vegan side effect: feel like singing n dancing, ah why not!

Up next, company in United States produces biodegradable plant-based mask. We’d like to thank all the courageous people who risk their own capital to invest in essential businesses so that we can furnish our lives with necessities. We’ll be right back, with more conducive news on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, Earth-loving friends, it’s Reego, a vegan person from the Red Deer kingdom. The sparkling night sky smiles on me and you. Because we’re vegan, we shine so brightly like the stars! I have a thoughtful tip to share from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Hi good kids. Do you know that instead of rice, the vegan French baguettes can be delicious to eat with vegan curry or vegan Thai tom yum? The Aulacese (Vietnamese) do that. May be something new to try! Bon veganpetit. God Loves you kids.” We love You soo much, Supreme Master Ching Hai! Many thanks for this yummy way to dine! Thank you for tuning in. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. And now, the worldwide weather.

United States company releases biodegradable plant-based face mask.

An innovative firm called G95 has released its latest product – Oceanshield. The masks, that incorporate embedded air filtration technology, as well as the shipping bags and individual wrappers, are totally biodegradable. The thoughtful enterprise also includes return envelopes so that the used masks can be sent back at no charge for recycling into new products. The single-use masks, which can decompose in 90 days, filter the air according to the N95 standard or better. They are FFP2 rated and can be ordered from the company online. Way to go, G95, on your planet and health-protecting face mask, and your diligent efforts to make sure your product will safely return to the Earth after use. In the love of the Providence, may the entire global economy follow your lead and switch to circular products to ensure a clean and abundant world for all future generations.

Plant-based meats improve the gut microbiome says British study.

Researchers led by Miguel Toribio-Mateas of the London South Bank University in the United Kingdom examined the effects of plant-based protein on the microbiome in the gut. Half of the 40 participants in the study were given vegan meat substitutes to eat for five meals a week. The other participants consumed their typical animal-based diets. After one month, it was found that the gut microbiome of those in the plant-based group contained increased butyrate-producing microbes, which are beneficial to human health and support disease prevention. One physician commenting on the study noted the benefits of the fiber and phytonutrients in the vegan meat products. Wonderful news, Miguel Toribio-Mateas and co-researchers, on the health-improving effects of replacing meat with better plant options. In Celestial splendor, may your research lead the way to a full dietary conversion to plants as we protect our health based on the science and facts at hand.

Egyptian-American youth steps up to clear roadway following hurricane.

Nineteen-year-old Abdullah Akl likes to use his talents to serve others, a quality that revealed itself recently after Hurricane Henri poured heavy rain on Staten Island – the New York City, USA borough the young man calls home. The storm caused leaves and other debris to clog drainage to the point that the roadway became impassable. Abdullah waded out to two drains and used a broom to sweep continuously for about an hour, allowing the water to clear. The community-minded political science student, who memorized the Holy Qur’an at age 14, has aspirations of becoming a lawyer. He serves as the Civic Engagement director at the Muslim American Society Staten Island and is a UNICEF Youth Ambassador, advocating for Child-Friendly Cities. Three cheers for your good deed, Abdullah Akl. In Allah’s Love, may you be blessed abundantly as your faith continues to guide you to create a world of harmony, justice and love. No 2 vegan: cuz hell will reward u with a hot, big fire oven 2 roast urself in.

Coming up, top Swiss watchmaker to use vegan leather. We’ll now pause for a moment to watch a celebration of the “Processional giants and dragons in Belgium and France,” a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which features a parade with huge effigies of gigantic figures such as mythical heroes and animals, a tradition believed to have originated at the end of the 14th century. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more brightening news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Gracious News for an Elegant World.

Luxury Swiss watchmaker to switch to vegan leather straps.

Watch innovator Greubel Forsey will use a plant-based alternative for its watch bands from January 2022. The brand is considered one of the top companies in the world for making timepieces. The new premium-quality straps will be durable, water-resistant, and ultraviolet ray proof. The move is due to an increasing demand for sustainable products, with other watchmakers also announcing plans to start using eco-friendly materials. Way to go, Greubel Forsey, on your compassionate and planet-friendly switch to vegan leather for your stylish timepieces. In Heaven’s love, may every glance at your new vegan watches remind their wearers of the importance of protecting all life with a grateful heart and actions.

Community in Argentina helps beached humpback whales return to ocean.

In two separate incidents in La Lucila del Mar, 360 kilometers south of the capital city of Buenos Aires, humpback whales were returned to the ocean by concerned citizens, including local residents, lifeguards, conservationists, Civil Defense members, coast guard officers, and firefighters. The first incident involved a 9.8 meter, approximately 7.2 metric ton juvenile female, and the second, a 6.3 metric ton, 8.5 meter male. According to the World Marine Foundation, primary efforts for the female whale included making sure she could breathe and keeping her pectoral fins underwater in order to stabilize her body temperature. The male was realigned using special cables and machinery so that he could float. Fortunately, both of our marine friends made it safely back to the Atlantic Ocean. A standing ovation, all those involved, in the heroic rescue efforts. May our loving whale co-inhabitants continue to forever bless our oceans, in the care and shelter of the Cosmos.

It’s time to enjoy the therapeutic nature of laughter with the joke of the day entitled, “Seeing Double.”

A patient said to the doctor:

“Doctor, I see everything double!”

“Okay, sir, please remain calm and sit down on this chair first.”

“Yes, doctor, but which one?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Wu-Chen in China:

Hallo, Supreme Master TV team! Supreme Master TV is my favorite and has been playing in my home continuously for several months on a 32-inch TV monitor connected to a computer. I am a retired senior engineer, and was an engineering manager and chief project management engineer of an inspection bureau. In 1994, I had the fortune to become Master’s disciple and become vegan. My main work was to go around and inspect dozens of the company’s construction sites. During my term of office, one of my requests was that under the principle of not affecting the work, I would advocate veganism to my colleagues. The director of the board and general manager of the company both agreed! Throughout the years, I had never stopped sharing and preaching the concept of the vegan diet with my colleagues. The general manager even told me later that the lunches served in the office had been changed to vegetarian meals! Many colleagues told me that they had not eaten much meat ever since. Even if I haven’t done anything special, I am still saving animals, doing good deeds, and being eco-friendly. That’s why being a vegan can be such a miraculous thing and is something to be proud of! Nothing can make me feel happier than being a vegan and Master’s disciple! I’m truly feeling debt-free and light-hearted. Diseases have seldom visited me in over two decades, not even high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, or any cancer that people tend to suffer from. How fortunate I am to have met Master in the sea of people, believed unwaveringly in Her, kept the vegan diet, and meditated for 27 years. Millions of thanks to Master for guiding us toward the right path in life and teaching us to share the “treasures” that we’ve received. We’ll do our utmost to help those who haven’t yet walked on the path “Home!” Thank You! Respectfully, Wu-Chen from China

Persuasive Wu-Chen, Our appreciation for your heartline. Way to go on transforming your workplace and your coworkers by spreading the veg message! It is imperative that we all speak up for the animals who have no voice except ours. You have helped save thousands of animal lives by impacting the meals of your coworkers and also helped them to lead more light-filled lives. May the Buddhas bless you and your magnanimous Chinese co-citizens, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has an appreciative reply for you: “Your letter touched me to tears, inspired Wu-Chen! Your dedication to living a spiritual life and sharing the vegan lifestyle in your workplace goes to show the power an individual has to affect the world and the lives of those around them, thus helps lighten their karmic load, save them from sickness as well as hellfire! An enlightened planet can only come to pass if we take the responsibility to share the truth with others whenever and wherever we can. Your determination to do so has brought more light into the world. The animals thank and bless you also! Continue, my love, to help World Vegan, World Peace become a reality! May Heaven bring bright fortune to you and diligent China.”

“I choose not to make a graveyard of my body with the rotting corpses of dead animals.” ~ George Bernard Shaw (vegetarian)
