In today’s news, Qatar Charity program trains and hires Palestinian youth, fatalities exceed 200 from severe floods in Western Europe, plant-based eaters less likely to develop severe COVID-19, British girl to receive 3D printed ear in cosmetic surgery, ‘Spare-no-effort’ botanist protects plant biodiversity around China’s Three Gorges Dam region, young student develops vegetarian menu for her school in United States, and South Africa’s Cat Village receives financial aid for cat rescue work.

Qatari non-profit provides unique employment opportunities for youth in Palestine.

Shining World Compassion Award laureate Qatar Charity has trained and employed over 50,000 young men and women in Palestine as part of its ongoing endeavor to better the economic and social standing of disenfranchised youth. Graduates and skilled workers are engaged remotely for both international and Qatari companies and perform a wide range of jobs, including ones in graphic design, content-writing, motion graphics, video production, accounting and translation. This initiative is an important part of the “Palestine Relief” program launched by the organization to help Palestinian families in the West Bank and Gaza. Our heartfelt gratitude, Qatar Charity, for your compassionate and practical help to Palestinian youth and families. May all the soulful Palestinians live in peace, joy and prosperity in Allah’s mercy.

More than 200 lives lost in Western Europe due to extreme flooding.

Days of tremendous rainfall in mid-July 2021 caused catastrophic flooding that took the lives of 200-plus people, with over 150 missing and thousands left homeless. The worst-hit countries were Belgium and Germany. President of the European Commission, Her Excellency Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, stated that “the intensity and the length” of the weather occurrences are a “clear indication of climate change” and “shows the urgency to act.” Meanwhile, Dr. Hayley Fowler, Professor of Climate Change Impacts at United Kingdom’s Newcastle University, said that she is “scared” as “seriously record-breaking events” worldwide are happening surprisingly faster than previously predicted by climate scientists. We appreciate these urgent warnings on climate change, Your Excellency Dr. Ursula von der Leyen and Professor Hayley Fowler. Our heartfelt condolences go to all who have lost loved ones, and we pray their souls rest in Heaven’s serene embrace. May those affected quickly recover as humanity promptly transitions to a vegan world to save our planet, in God’s mighty protection.

Up next, plant-based eaters less likely to develop severe COVID-19. We’ll now thank the key makers and locksmiths who provide important security services for our homes, cars and valuables. Vegan: cuz we live by the principles that we learned or preach.

Hallo, beautiful friends, I’m Campbell the vegan Chameleon, and you know what makes me so cool? My lifestyle! It’s healthy, sustainable, beautiful – it’s vegan! So, what are you waiting for? Give it a try! Today we have a tip from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “As a student, we don’t always have a big budget, so we should consider well before buying anything. Here are some economizing tips: This tong is very handy for many uses. For washing some deep bottles or jars, just grab the sponge with it, if your hand can’t reach. Use it as a spoon, or use it to grab a rewarmed bowl, a toasted bread piece, or a steamed bun. Or even stir-fry. Just make sure it’s a non-scratch pan. It will be easier to handle hot items and minimize the risk of burning. God Loves you kids!” And we love You, Supreme Master Ching Hai! Thanks so much for telling us about this cool tool! Thank you for tuning in. And love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Study shows plant-based eaters experience less severe COVID-19 symptoms.

A recent investigation by researchers from the United States has revealed that healthcare workers following a plant-based diet have a 73% lower chance of developing a moderate to severe COVID-19 infection. The scientists noticed this encouraging fact after surveying the eating habits of over 2,800 frontline medical workers in six countries, with a questionnaire offering 10 different diet categories. Of the people who had been previously infected, 527 were meat or fish-eaters, and 41 were on a plant-based diet. The data collected also showed that those consuming a “low carbohydrate, high protein” animal-based diet had three-times greater odds of developing moderate to severe COVID-19. Thank you, researchers, for highlighting the protective effects of the plant-based diet to limit the severity of COVID-19 infections. Through the Providence’s guidance, may all people soon realize the connection between the consumption of meat and suffering, as they make wise life choices to protect their body and soul.

British girl to receive 3D printed ear.

Ten-year-old Radiyah Miah from Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom, who was born without a properly formed left ear, will become the first person in Britain to receive a 3D-printed ear created at Swansea University, UK. The girl’s own cartilage cells and plant-based materials will be used to create the ear and will help solve issues with current reconstruction methods that leave the person scarred where skin and cartilage are removed for the graft. The operation is part of a three-year, £2.5 million development by Swansea University funded by the Scar Free Foundation, and will also research printing noses in the same manner. Such a wonderful project, Swansea University and Scar Free Foundation. Wishing you all the best results, Radiyah Miah. In the blessings of the Divine, may your operation be a success as this innovative technology helps more people around the world.

Dedicated botanist preserves rare plants in China.

Huang Guiyun, vice director of the Rare Plants Research Institute of Yangtze River, has conserved 1,256 rare species of plants over the past 20-plus years. She works in a 55,000 square meter area around the largest reservoir in the world, the Three Gorges Dam in Hubei Province, as well as in remote ridges some 660 kilometers upstream. Ms. Huang and team preserve endangered plants due to their natural habitat becoming compromised by climate change and human activity. Many of the plants originate from the Himalayas, with some dating back to the dinosaur era that were thought to be extinct. The eco-minded group later reseeds the rescued varieties elsewhere in the wild to expand their populations. A high salute to you, Huang Guiyun and staff, for your inspiring dedication to looking after endangered precious plants. In Buddha’s kindness, may all flora flourish so that many generations to come can enjoy and admire their beauty.

Coming up, young student develops vegetarian menu for her school in United States. We are going to take a moment to thank our friends who keep us company and speak wise words of advice, especially during challenging times. We’ll be right back with more giving news here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: cuz we r awakened 2 our real nature. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Beautiful News for a Caring World.

United States student develops meat-free menu for school cafeteria.

Lila Miller, a second- grade student from Florida, has developed a vegetarian lunch option to help reduce her school’s carbon footprint. Lila attends Roland Park K-8 in Tampa, and has been a vegetarian for over a year. She stated, “If the world gets too hot, we won’t be able to exist on Planet Earth… I don’t want to hurt the animals.” She met with the school’s nutritionist to check her menu, and the school has agreed to re-start its Meatless Mondays program in the fall. Wise and kindhearted Lila Miller, thank you for your actions to reduce meat consumption in your school, and help to inspire your classmates and teachers to follow your noble choice. In the benevolent love of God, may all schools soon become fully vegan as we teach our children the importance of loving animals and saving the planet.

South African animal charity raises funds for rescued cats.

Santa Cause for Paws, an animal welfare donation collection charity, recently selected the non-profit Cat Village as a recipient for its 2021 festive campaign. The initiative, which also includes an online drive for sponsorship of Cat Village’s older cat residents, will give the funds to Cat Village during the Christmas season or before if needed. Headed by Irma Teller with a team of dedicated rescue volunteers, Cat Village provides a loving forever home to more than 1,300 cat residents who were previously homeless, abandoned or abused. Located in Johannesburg’s East Rand region, ample natural space is available in the 2-hectare garden for the felines to relax. Our sincere appreciation, Santa Cause for Paws, Cat Village, Irma Teller and team, for your dedication to providing an enriching and caring environment for kitties to live safely and stay healthy. May good-hearted souls like yours be blessed abundantly, in Heaven’s tender embrace.

Now, a joke for your happy mood it’s called, “Disguised.”

Ines was playing in the playground and got all muddy running around just after it had rained. After a while, she walked over to her mom and said in a changed, theatrical voice:

“Who am I?”

The mother started to play along:

“I don’t know! Who are you?”

The little girl enthusiastically said:

“Wow! My teacher was right. She said that when I get dirty, my own mother wouldn’t recognize me.”

And now we have a heartline from Bao-Bao in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

I am grateful to the respected and Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV team for producing and broadcasting positive, good news. I am overjoyed to hear that a 14-year-old girl has found a potential new cure for the Influenza! In this worst moment in time when our planet is facing many crises arising from earthquakes, tsunamis, black holes, pandemics, wars, and the US election fraud, I am feeling down and depressed. However, when I watch the good news on Supreme Master TV and hear the comforting and encouraging words spoken by Master in Her precious time, I have faith that prayer and meditation will bring more good changes.

I miss the music that Master plays, which brings peace to my heart, particularly at this time, and look forward to hearing this music broadcast again. I thank Supreme Master and wish Her peace and joy and the working team the best of health and happiness.

(I love the Kung Fu girl saving the little lamb in “When Robbers Meet Kung Fu Girl (Alternative Living).” It’s very funny!) Bao-Bao from Taiwan (Formosa)

Joyous Bao-Bao, It is wonderful to hear from you. Despite the turbulence our planet is currently facing, we are comforted by Master’s positive outlook and guidance as we continue striving towards a peaceful and vegan world. May you and constructive Taiwan (Formosa) enjoy fortune and happiness, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Here are some words of wisdom from Master: “Blissful Bao-Bao, my thanks for your well-wishes. We must immediately stop the killing of animals and each other first in order to steer away from the disasters that are befalling our planet, and then, naturally, peace will prevail. I pray that all beings will awaken soon to their benevolent and kind nature as children of Heaven they inherently are. By the way, any piece of my composition that aired on Supreme Master Television, you can look it up and download it free. May Buddha’s great Love encompass you and all your harmonious Taiwanese (Formosan) co-citizens.”
