Thirty-three years ago, on October 25, the first Supreme Master Ching Hai Day was established in 1993 by then Mayor Frank F. Fasi of the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Mr. Fasi: We don’t do this very often, but distinguished citizens of the world, who have an impact on the lives of so many people living on this Earth, when they come through Honolulu, and have done so much for all kinds of people regardless of the color of their skin, the shape of their eyes or their religious or political beliefs, we like to make them very important people and feel very much at home.
From the city and county of Honolulu appointment of honorary citizenship, Supreme Master Ching Hai is hereby proclaimed from this day forth an honorary citizen of the city and County of Honolulu, in recognition of outstanding character achievement and Aloha spirit.
With all the rights and privileges appertaining there to affirming the high esteem in which this distinguished Person is held by all of the citizens of Honolulu.
Master humbly dedicated this day to everyone who extends loving kindness to others unconditionally.
Master: The Ching Hai Day is not only my day. It’s your day. It’s everyone’s day. Everyone that did something good to your neighbors, to your pets, to the neighbor’s pets, to the animal-people outside in the wild; anyone that helped any other beings, or respected and loved any other beings, including the non-sentient beings such as trees, plants, whenever possible; to them belongs the Ching Hai Day.
In this illusionary reality, when many people in the world indulge in physical pleasure, engage in worldly pursuit, try to get ahead, or even struggle just to get by, Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Teaching is like a powerful Divine ray of sunlight that dispels all the confusion and darkness. As a global Spiritual Leader, Supreme Master Ching Hai has dedicated Her life to uplifting the world spiritually as well as materially whenever She can. She reminds people the true purpose of human life.
The Purpose of Human Life
“We are here to bless the world and to know our greatness. When we know our greatness, we are one with the whole universal cosmic power. And whoever comes in contact with us also has the blessing from this universal cosmic power. The Earth will get more developed as more people like us practice and bless the world quietly with our spiritual merit and wisdom. That’s our purpose. Otherwise, what else do you think? Are we here just to eat two or three meals a day, have a few children, and then kaput (finished)? That’s not the true purpose anyhow! It would not be logical for GOD to take so much trouble to create us, then put us here for a few decades and let us die in misery, sometimes with cancer, agony, disasters, earthquakes, and so on. This is not logical.
So, the purpose of human life is to know GOD. Knowing GOD means knowing our own greatness, knowing the whole cosmic power of which we ourselves are a part.
Master teaches the right way of living – being vegan and meditating with the Quan Yin (inner Heavenly Light and Sound) Method of meditation, connecting us with our GOD Nature within.
Instead of seeking just personal peace and freedom away from the world, Master advises us to bring Heaven to Earth. Helping others and serving the world with love has been the center of Her Teachings and Actions. Inspired by Her example, our Association members have been reaching out to bring comfort and assistance to the needy, often with Master’s financial contributions.
Master: But our job is just beginning. It’s always beginning. Until this world turns into a paradise
and peaceful everywhere, our job’s not done. Until the animal-people are free from suffering and respected
as individual beings from God, our job is not done. There are people still oppressed
because they are poor, because they are black, because they are a different color,
or because they are disabled, or because they are gay, or because they are lesbian, or because they are bisexual. Until they are free, until all of them are equally treated
with respect and love, our job is not done.
In March 2026, our Association members covered the transportation of 25 pallets of humanitarian aid to be sent to Ukraine (Ureign). The aid team distributed 500 copies of Master’s book “Love Is the Only Solution” also.
In Yilan, Taiwan (Formosa), Association members reached out with warm clothing, sleeping bags, and vegan food to homeless individuals and isolated seniors, while also gifting 600 kilograms of vegan pet food and treats, warm clothing to a devoted vegetarian animal-folk rescuer caring for 100 cat- and dog-people. In Taipei, in cooperation with the Department of Social Affairs, Association members distributed “lucky gift bags” with vegan food, juice, warm socks, hand warmers, and hygiene items to homeless individuals at Taipei Main Station. On January 15, 2026, South Korean Association members hiked into the snow-covered Seongamsan mountain area of Daegu to leave sweet potatoes, apples, peanuts, sunflower seeds, and cabbage for our wildlife friends.
Continuing the longstanding Thanksgiving tradition inspired by Supreme Master Ching Hai’s 1993 relief efforts in San Francisco, California, USA, our Association members in the United States provided aid to unhoused individuals in keeping with Her compassionate example.

We are grateful for the Teaching and Guidance of Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), Who is living among us to show us how to live a Godly way of life.
Many prophets and seers in the past or present have foretold the coming of a world Savior at our current time, Who will usher the world into a Golden Age. In Buddhist tradition, the Savior is called the Maitreya Buddha; in Christianity, the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ; by First-Nations peoples, the White Buffalo Calf Woman; in Hinduism, Lord Kalki. Some have hinted at the name, the location of birth and the identity of the Being entrusted with this Divine Mission. All signs point to our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai.
Various prophecies state that the Savior will be a woman.
GOD says, “Listen to me, as the beginning of the restoration, as it begins, THERE SHALL BE A WOMAN THAT SHALL RISE UP. A Woman that shall be strong in faith, virtuous. Beautiful in eyes. Her eyes shall be so beautiful. Her eyes shall be round and big. I have crowned Her,” says the Lord, “as I crowned Esther.”
“It’s now the Dharma-ending Age, the last age, I (GOD) will descend on Earth. I WILL CHOOSE A WOMAN’S FORM as the tool to guide human beings in this world...”
“In the future, THERE WILL BE A LADY WEARING HIGH HEELS coming to lead the Way.”
“In the heart of the year one thousand that comes after year one thousand, Man will no longer be the only ruler, for THE WOMAN WILL COME AND TAKE THE SCEPTER.”
This extraordinary Being will emerge from the East.
“For as the lightning comes from the East and flashes to the West, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
“GOD will come down to a peninsula in the East.”
“Particularly in coming days and soon, there’s going to be a spiritual revival in the world. This is also coming, primarily from the East.”
She will not belong to any established religion, yet She will impart the true Spiritual Teachings.
“The future religious (spiritual) Leader will descend to the human world, neither as an official in the house of the prime minister nor as a prince in the palace; neither in Buddhist temples nor in Taoist monasteries, but in the family of ordinary people. He/She will distribute gold from places south of Yan and north of Zhao.”
“The ode says: There is a Saint in China today.”
“Though without power or status, She achieves success in everything She does.”
“In the presence of the Holy Saint: Not a pandhita (Hindu priest) but they call Her a pandhita. Not GOD but they call Her GOD.”
“There is a Sound that is coming forth not from religion or manmade doctrines. There is a Sound of Christ coming to the Earth as it has never come before,” says the Lord.
“It’s outside of all the current religions we understand at the moment. It’s something beyond our comprehension.”
