In addition, reciting positive affirmations such as the following will help to anchor the positivity: “All I need is within me right now. I am grateful for everything I have in my life. I accept myself for who I am and create peace, power and confidence of mind and of heart.”Performing volunteer service contributes to the welfare of others, creating positive and optimistic thoughts and feelings. Engaging in creative activities that allow for self-expression such as art, writing, music, or other forms of creativity lifts our heart and soul. We may even wonder, “What does life have to offer me? How can I reciprocate?” Open your heart, share meaningful conversations with others, share your joys and sorrows, listen with full attention.
