Jesus was Vegetarian, Part 3 of 3: Reviving the Vegan Ethos in Today’s Christianity

Once the wheel of karmic consequence is already turned on, it’s very difficult to stop. It has to go through its course. GO TOTAL VEGAN. It’s like if you make a mistake you go south, but you wanted actually to go north, and just U-turn and go back to the north. U-turn now when you still can. Begin a new life. I promise to intervene with Heaven on your behalf.Welcome to “Jesus Was Vegetarian, Part 3, Reviving the Vegan Ethos in Today’s Christianity”. After learning about the pro-vegetarian philosophies in part 1 and the change to a compromised pro-meat attitude in part 2, it is time for the weighing up of these two gospel traditions. In alignment with the proposed timeline of Earth history according to Genesis, meat-eating was unknown for 2200 years, from time of the Creation up to the Great Flood. Then people started eating flesh, which lasted for another 3300 years, bringing us to the time of Jesus’s birth. According to 1 John 3:8-9, “the reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” It is also pointed out by Saint Jerome or Hieronymus that the devil’s work was meat-eating: “Jesus Christ, who appeared when the time had been fulfilled, has again joined the end with the beginning, so that it is no longer allowed for us to eat animal meat.”God must have been heartbroken to see Hiers children, who are helpless, and getting weaker, sicker, and being victimized under maya’s control, without knowing the truth. Perhaps, even more heart-wrenching is to know that the poor animals that Hes created for Hiers children as companions, are being tortured, mistreated, then mindlessly eaten by Hiers children. Lord Jesus did His best to teach people to be kind to their neighbors. However, His stay was too short. He was arrested and crucified after a confrontation in the temple, where He disrupted the buying and selling of animals that were being purchased for slaughter. This was the precipitating event that caused His arrest, thus ending His mission. And now 2000 years have passed. Based on Mr. Bean’s research, there are several neo-Essene type groups that have formed, published books, and even have websites. They are interested in the Jewish roots of Christianity. James believes that their intentions are sincere and that they are onto something important, but he disagrees with the use of the word “Essene”, instead preferring “Ebionite”, since it refers specifically to followers of Jesus and his successors, what some call the Hebrew Christians. Whatever the correct terminology might be, we thank them for keeping the compassionate vegetarian diet in their current practice of the Christian faith. Their trust in, and loyalty to God, help guide the misguided brothers and sisters towards the true path to Almighty God while God is working with all Hiers power to break the karmic chains designed by maya and to set Hiers children free. The good news is that many Christian scholars have concluded that vegetarianism is the most ethical way to live and is more consistent with the spirit of Christ’s teachings. Many Christian groups since the time of Christ have practiced vegetarianism. Among the modern groups, the Seventh-Day Adventist are currently the most well-known. The Seventh-Day Adventists, a Protestant Christian denomination, are distinguished by their observance of Saturday, the seventh day of the week in Christian and Jewish calendars, as the Sabbath and their belief in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. For the Seventh-day Adventists, the Second Coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Savior’s coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. They describe the prediction: “When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die.” It is also mentioned in Matthew 3:11 (King James Bible): “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” Undoubtedly, it makes sense to believe that the second coming, Jesus's promised return to Earth, is for the unfinished task – destroy the devil’s work and rescue His children.Attentive viewers, we will be right back after this meaningful message. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television.Welcome back, loving viewers. Just like many human heroes who are standing up for animal justice on Earth, with unconditional love, the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual Master, Supreme Master Ching Hai is defending humans’ right to justice in Heaven. Supreme Master Ching Hai stated maya should be the one to blame and should be the one to go to hell, instead of human beings, because maya created this chaotic and cruel world and all the traps, including eating of meat, into which many fall. On October 1, 2017, Supreme Master Ching Hai shared good news from Heaven, that all the mechanisms controlling this world had been smashed. The souls will never again be caught or trapped by the vicious cycle of reincarnation. On November 24, 2019, there was more exciting news. Our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai had successfully locked maya up in hell forever, with the help of all the Godses and all the Universal Beings Who put all Their power together to make it happen. The only drawback, Supreme Master Ching Hai said, “From now on, whatever any being does on this planet, is their own responsibility. There is no excuse anymore. Before, it’s the maya who’s driven and making trouble and tempting you and deluding you, so if you do something wrong, there is some excuse to forgive.” The prophecies in the Holy Bible have been fulfilled as stated in Revelation 20:1-6: “He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.”The year 2020 is so far turning out to be a very special year. Within two months, Supreme Master Ching Hai sent four urgent messages to the world. The first one, on February 6, called for a global prayer every Sunday to pray for a vegan world. “Heaven is angry. Earth is angry. Nature is angry, waiting, waiting for us to return to our original loving, kind nature, as God intended us to have. Waiting for us to exercise this power to save others and to save ourselves and our family. Hell is inevitable if we do not change our way of life. Help the planet. Rescue the animals. Save our world. Be a hero. We are going to pray together. If you believe in justice, even if you can’t be vegan at this point, just pray to be soon. Pray for World Vegan. Join us, please, to meditate every Sunday, 9 o’clock in the evening [Hong Kong time]. Our prayers are going to be powerful because it’s backed by Heavens and Saints and God Power. I made sure of that. It has tremendous power, never before known to humankind. Please tell also your family members, your friends, your acquaintances, whomever you know to pray with us, for a vegan world. It’s good for them also.”Master further explained during a phone call with a member of the Supreme Master Television team on April 17, 2020, “Once the wheel of karmic consequence is already turned on, it’s very difficult to stop. It has to go through its course. GO TOTAL VEGAN. It’s like if you make a mistake you go south, but you wanted actually to go north, and just U-turn and go back to the north.”On February 22, the second urgent message went to people who are exploiting animals: “U-turn now when you still can. Begin a new life. I promise to intervene with Heaven on your behalf. ”On March 2, 2020, the third urgent message was out for all religious and spiritual leaders: “As great spiritual leaders, You would also be aware of the devastation occurring on our planet, directly related to accelerated climate change caused by humans’ cruel behaviors and brutal habits, which is not so difficult to change once applying the principle of love. Please tell Your believers this truth. Tell them that we must change. Please teach this again and again to Your trusting followers.”On March 24, 2020, the fourth urgent message was addressed to all world leaders and governments: “It’s all only one answer: the VEGAN DIET, the VEGAN WORLD, that will rescue our planet and secure lasting peace for all beings on Earth. You have the power to stop all this. You have the privilege to IMPLEMENT VEGAN LAW, NO MORE ANIMAL RELATED SUFFERING BUSINESSES. And this VEGAN LAW IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO SAVE OUR WORLD.” Something very important is taking place. It is the call to all the lost sheep to come home. Please do return to compassionate living. The world, messed up by maya, will be set back in order by our benevolent Lord. As it states in John 20:29, “Blessed are those who do not see but believe”.Lastly, we hope with all our hearts that you come forward to join us in building a peaceful and harmonious planet where the lamb can lie alongside the lion, finally fulfilling this prophecy. Join the Sunday global prayer with us, to pray for God’s grace and a vegan world to come soon. Jesus was Vegetarian, Part 2 of 3: The Compromise of Saint Paul

“Because everything wrong you do is only because of maya and the maya is the one that also created the mind. The mind, the maya, everything is from the illusionary Shadow World. So, if you’ve done something wrong, it’s not your fault. I don’t see it that way.”Compassionate viewers, on today’s program, we will continue our journey, guided by the spiritual writer, James Bean, to find out the impact of Jesus’s compassionate vegetarian principle after His departure. In the first episode, we learned that the earlier Essene movement within Judaism adhered to a vegetarian diet and condemned animal sacrifice in the temple of Jerusalem. The Essenes, the John the Baptist group, the Nazarenes, and the Jesus Movement had much in common and were somehow related to each other. In many ways, they shared the same values, scriptures, and spiritual beliefs.A variety of different sources in early Christianity described the Apostles as being vegetarians. Church Father, Eusebius, wrote in his work “Demonstratio Evangelica” (“Proof of the Gospels”): “They [the apostles] embraced and persevered in a strenuous and laborious life, with fasting and abstinence from wine and meat.” And in his “Church History” text, Eusebius wrote that Apostle John “never ate meat.” The Early Church Father, St. Clement of Alexandria, who was also a vegetarian, wrote about the apostle Matthew: “It is far better to be happy than to have your bodies act as graveyards for animals. Accordingly, the apostle Matthew partook of seeds, nuts, hard-shelled fruits, and vegetables, without flesh.” And in the Ebionite Gospel, known as the “Clementine Homilies,” St. Peter, who was a fisherman before following Jesus, is quoted as having said: “I live on olives and bread to which I rarely only add vegetables.” In Chapter 20 of Acts of Thomas, it’s written that the Apostle Thomas - “He continually fasts and prays, and abstaining from the eating of flesh and the drinking of wine, he eats only bread with salt, drinks only water, and wears the same garment in fine weather and winter, accepting nothing from anyone, and gives whatever he has to others.”The first leader of the Jerusalem church after Jesus’s departure, the Apostle James, the brother of Jesus, was universally acknowledged to be a strict vegetarian, who lived on seeds and plants and touched neither meat nor wine. In fact, extra-biblical sources contain more reliable information about James than about Jesus, John the Baptist, and Peter. According to Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History 2.23.5–6, James was raised as a vegetarian. Why would Jesus’s family raise James as a vegetarian, but not Jesus? The natural conclusion is that Jesus’s parents raised Jesus and James as vegetarians and that this was part of the original gospel message. The gospels describe a vegetarian ethos: a vegetarian Jesus and vegetarian Apostles, a John the Baptist who ate carob (locust beans) — beans not bugs! and a rejection of ritual animal sacrifice, be it in pagan temples or the Jewish temple of Jerusalem. Therefore, it’s reasonable to believe that a plant-based diet must have been a rule for practitioners to abide by. “And the things which are well-pleasing to God are these: to pray to Him, to ask from Him, recognizing that He is the giver of all things, and gives with discriminating law; to abstain from the table of devils, not to taste dead flesh, not to touch blood; to be washed from all pollution; and the rest in one word, —as the God-fearing Jews have heard, do you also hear, and be of one mind in many bodies; let each man be to do to his neighbor those good things he wishes for himself.”With so many versions of the Holy Bible and its related literature, we can easily trace a Biblical basis for the vegetarianism of the Jews and Christians during the late BC and early AD periods. The question, then, is how did this vegetarian root of Christianity get lost? Attentive viewers, we’ll take a moment to pray to the God. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television.Welcome back, loving viewers. St. Paul is often considered to be the most important person after Jesus, in the history of Christianity. He was also known as Paul the Apostle (but he was not one of the Twelve Apostles), the Apostle Paul, and Saul of Tarsus. However, he preferred to call himself “Apostle to the Gentiles”. He took advantage of his status as both a Jew and a Roman citizen to minister to both Jewish and Roman audiences. Paul seemed to have been open to meat-eating, while he was also open to vegetarianism. At the same time, Paul counseled diplomacy in dealing with vegetarians who thought otherwise, taking care not to offend them. He said: “I [Paul] will never eat meat, lest I cause my brother to fall.” “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.”The pro-meat group started to form in the followers of Paul, dropping the vegetarian requirement of the Jesus Movement, which could have been a way to make it easier to get more converts in the Roman Empire, although the original Jesus Movement categorically rejected this. To structure Paul’s new community of gentile believers, some in early Christianity developed a twofold or two-level organizational approach of: 1) “Hearers of the Word”, new converts to the faith - it’s OK for them to continue eating meat, for a while at least; and 2): “The Elect”, those more mature initiates of the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, who were “being perfected in love and knowledge” adhering to a stricter discipline that included vegetarianism.Steven Rosen argued in his book, Food for the Spirit, in 1987, that the vegetarian roots of Christianity in the early Church were abandoned in the 4th century, when Emperor Constantine decided to use his own version of Christianity for everyone. A meat-eating interpretation of the Bible, therefore, became the official creed of the Roman Empire, and vegetarian Christians had to practice in secret or risk being put to death for heresy. How could the Christian followers forget the teachings shortly after Jesus’s departure? How could they not remember “Thou shalt not kill” in The Ten Commandments, or “eating flesh would bring disorders to their senses"? How could the Heavens allow maya (aka satan) to degrade humans without punishment? The world-renowned humanitarian, artist and spiritual Master, Supreme Master Ching Hai shed light on maya’s dark force during a teleconference in 2018. “Oh, because this is his [Satan’s] world. He rules over it. He created it. I mean of course, with the merits that he earned. (It seems so unfair.) Yeah, I know that. I know that. But he cheated. He wanted just to have a boon, and then just to create a world so he could rule. But God never imagined such a negative impact. Because God is all good and loving and kindness. If a guy is so devoted and standing on one leg for many, many kalpas, meaning many eons, and asked for only one boon, God said, ‘OK, of course.’ God was also touched, so Hes gave him a boon. That’s how it happened. God never imagined maya would capture the souls and imprison them forever, and recycling suffering and sorrow. Humans have freewill, but the maya messed with their minds. And then sending subordinates to make all kinds of … talk into their ears and make their minds weakened and tempting them to do wrong things, so that the karma will involve and breed other kinds of karma and then keep cycling forever and forever. Because one thing leads to another, and they’ll never be free. It’s terrifying, and I hate all this. Humans have been brainwashed, poisoned, drugged by mayic power, mayic force, negative force. So, they’ve been in a slumber for a long time already. So, anything that’s new to them - not like what the maya has been showing them, giving them, telling them, they reject. That’s why they crucified Lord Jesus; they wanted to assassinate Buddha. They persecuted the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). And many other Enlightened Saints and Masters had to live in obscurity, in hiding, teaching in secret, teaching in unsafe environments, or had to die such an anguished death, before They even reached out to a much larger public. It has been conditioned for the humans to react that way, this way. Otherwise, Jesus would have saved all humans already; Buddha would have done all that. This is all the fault of maya; he’s possessive. He wants to be a ruler forever. That is the problem.”Supreme Master Ching Hai explained further why maya likes to disturb practitioners. “You must have an expert guide, otherwise, you might fall into the trap of the maya. Because the maya, they like to disturb practitioners. And they don’t like practitioners, because if you’re liberated, they lose one soul. And maybe they lose more souls because of you. Because you influence others. That’s why he’s afraid. Imagine if everybody is enlightened, the world is empty. Whom does the maya harass, molest, torture, or mislead for fun, for controlling? Because everything wrong you do is only because of maya and the maya is the one that also created the mind. The mind, the maya, everything is from the illusionary Shadow World. So, if you’ve done something wrong, it’s not your fault. I don’t see it that way.”Enlightened viewers, it is so pitiful that the vegetarian root in Christianity was challenged in the satan-ruled world shortly after Jesus’s departure and was almost abandoned after several centuries. Jesus was Vegetarian, Part 1 of 3: The Breaking of the Bread

Jesus was Vegetarian, Part 1 of 3: The Breaking of the Bread

“For of the fruits of the trees and the seeds of the herbs alone do I partake.” (Gospel of the Nazarenes)“You shall not take away the life of any creature for your pleasure, nor for your profit, nor yet torment it.” (Lection XLVI, 10) In today’s program, it is our honor to present to you evidence that Jesus and the original Aramaic Christians were vegetarians, which is based on the document entitled; “Evidence That Jesus and The Original Aramaic Christians Were Vegetarians -- Uncovering A Vegetarian Jesus at the Beginning of Christianity” by Mr. James Bean. It is generally agreed by historians that Jesus and his disciples primarily spoke Aramaic, the common language of Judea in the first century AD, most likely a Galilean dialect distinguishable from that of Jerusalem. It is through profound reading of historical documents and research of many Christian scholars, that James Bean concludes undoubtedly that Jesus was raised in a vegetarian family and demonstrated the love and compassion for animals by preaching to end animal sacrifices. Thank you, James, for allowing us to use your document. All the evidence put together in James Bean’s research can be referred to in the Holy Bible. The Christian Bible consists of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is the original Hebrew Bible, the sacred scriptures of the Jewish faith, written at different times between 1200 and 165 BC. In the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions, the Old Testament includes writings considered apocryphal by Protestants. The New Testament books were written by Christians in the first century AD, dealing with the life, the person, and the teachings of Jesus and the formation of the Christian church. It contains four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Acts, 21 Letters, and Revelation. Before we delve into the supporting evidence that Jesus was vegetarian, let us first take a look at the lineage of Christianity and its development. The Essenes, meaning “Doers of Torah”, who wrote (or collected) the Dead Sea Scrolls, existed over 150 years before the birth of Jesus. Some believe that Jesus was an Essene and was raised on Mount Carmel. Some scholars believe that Jesus was at least influenced by them. The earliest followers of Jesus were known as Nazarenes, and perhaps later, Ebionites. The Nazarene/Ebionite movement involved mostly Jewish/Israelite followers of Saint John the Baptist and later Jesus. They were led by “James the Just”, the oldest brother of Jesus, during the years 30-80 A.D. The term “Christian” came about later. It actually was an attempt to translate the term Nazarene into Greek, meaning a “Messianist” and referred to the followers of Christ who did not acknowledge the emperor of Rome. So, the terminology is flexible; many self-designations used by the Jesus movement, had previously been used by the Essenes. The main Essene scripture is the Gospel of the Holy Twelve, also known as the Gospel of the Nazarenes. According to legend, this Gospel was collectively written by the 12 apostles immediately after Christ’s death, and it is the scripture on which all of the Biblical synoptic Gospels are based and derived. This version of the New Testament portrays Jesus as a strict vegetarian. “You shall not take away the life of any creature for your pleasure, nor for your profit, nor yet torment it.” (Lection XLVI, 10) “You shall not eat the flesh, nor drink the blood of any slaughtered creature, not yet anything which brings disorder to your health or senses.” (Lection XLVI, 12) “You shall cherish and protect the weak, and those who are oppressed, and all creatures that suffer wrong.” (Lection XLVI, 18) “Be on guard, so that your hearts do not become heavy with the eating of flesh and with the intoxication of wine and with the anxiety of the world, and that day come upon you suddenly; for as a snare it will come upon all who dwell upon the surface of the earth.” (Jesus, Luke 21:34, Evangelion Da-Mepharreshe — Old Syriac-Aramaic Manuscript of the New Testament Gospels) “Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them.” (1 Corinthians 6:13)The Biblical basis for vegetarianism is shown in Genesis, the early chapters of the Hebrew Bible. It shows that vegetarianism is consistent with the spirit of early Christianity, which is to advocate kindness, mercy, non-violence and to love all of God's creation. Here are some of the quotes from the Old Testament. For of the fruits of the trees and the seeds of the herbs alone do I partake. (Gospel of the Nazarenes) And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (Genesis 1:29-30) But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. (Genesis 9:4) Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13) Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. (Proverbs: 15:17) Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh. (Proverbs 23:20) To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats… And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil. (Isaiah 1:11, 15-16)Attentive viewers, we will be right back after this meaningful message. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television.Welcome back, loving viewers. In the New Testament, the stories of the feeding of the multitudes have generated the most discussion. When Jesus refers back to His feeding of the multitudes in Matthew 16:9, he says, “Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered?” He doesn’t mention fish. Jesus: “May I share thy bread. I am the bread of life. He that cometh to me shall never hunger. And he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” Given the way Jesus spoke in Matthew 16:9–10, the insertion of fish becomes obvious. As it now stands, in the New Testament Gospels references to “bread” are frequent but “fish” are only referred to on a couple occasions. This strongly suggests that the original tradition was about distribution of bread, not bread and fish.Luke recorded that Jesus’ family made annual pilgrimages to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread. In fact, the Gospel of Ebionites clearly indicates that Jesus rejected the Passover meal by saying: “I have no desire to eat the flesh of this Paschal Lamb with you.” Jesus said: “I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.” Furthermore, Jesus condemned animal sacrifice. The Ebionite or Hebrew Gospel quotes Jesus as saying, “I have come to abolish the sacrifices, and if you cease not from sacrificing, my wrath will not cease from you.” (Panarion 30.16.5)Another clear proof that Jesus did not want animal offerings but mercy is found both in Matthew 9:13 and John 2:13-17. “And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.” (John 2:13-17) “and doves and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So, he made a whip out of cords and drove all from the Temple, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said: ‘Get out of here.’” (John 2:13–16)One of the earliest Ebionite Christian documents, the Clementine Homilies, was written in the second century based on the teachings of Saint Peter. Homily XII states: "The unnatural eating of flesh meats is as polluting as the heathen worship of devils, with its sacrifices and its impure feasts, through participation in it a man becomes a fellow eater with devils". Thus, all three groups, Essenes, Nazarenes, and Ebionites, were vegetarian, which was highly likely the required practice in Early Christianity. Conversations with the Seventh-day Adventist Church: Divine Principles of Life and Pure Living, Part 2 of 2

“The Lord would bring His people into a position where they will not touch nor taste the flesh of dead animals. Then let not these things be prescribed by any physician who has a knowledge of the truth for this time. And in a short time the milk of the cow will also be excluded from the diet of God’s commandment-keeping people. In a short time it will not be safe to use anything that comes from the animal creation. Those who take God at His word and obey His commandments with the wole heart will be blessed. He will be their shield of protection. Distrust、disobedience, and alienation from God’s will and way will place the sinner in a position where the Lord cannot give him His divine favor.”

Conversations with the Seventh-day Adventist Church: Divine Principles of Life and Pure Living, Part 1 of 2

A lot of the dynamics of what the Bible teaches about life, alongside nutrition, is all about inner peace, finding harmony between God and yourself, and I think that's one of the things that gives joy, and gives a meaning for living. The idea is that everything we do in our recreation, in our social life, in our nutrition and diet, we must all make the best decisions that will be of best benefit to ourselves and of best benefit to others. So, we have "Eight Doctors" is what we called them, the Eight Laws of Health in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and it's an acronym. It spells New Start.

Our Noble Lineage: The Chishti Order of Sufism – Love for God, Respect to All

Throughout the centuries, the Chishti Order emphasized the importance of keeping a vegetarian diet. “There are two things which speak against flesh-eating: one thing is that meat, as a substance, hinders spiritual progress, and the other is that the unkindness toward the animals in a breach of moral law. Morally, there is no doubt that it has a hardening effect upon the heart of man, which is meant to sympathize, not only with his follow man, but with every living creature. There is no doubt that if all the people in the world became vegetarian, there would be no more wars. A person who refrains from killing the lower creatures would surely not be inclined to kill his fellow man. ”

Vegetarianism and meditation are part of their daily practice. The Khrubas taught Buddhist teachings to their students and advised them to switch to a vegetarian diet.He taught the Dharma to the villagers, telling them to not kill or cause harm to animals, cease meat eating and abstain from alcohol. He also taught them Buddhist wisdoms and to be kind towards all living beings. The monks and the villagers there still keep vegetarian diets and continue to follow the wise teachings of Khruba Chaiyawongsa.
