On Sunday, January 12, 2020, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai lovingly addressed the assembly of our fellow Quan Yin practitioners at the New Land Ashram in Taiwan, also known as Formosa. Our Gracious Master also explained the difference between wisdom and our judgement, with a few examples for clarity. “We have to practice more in order to have wisdom, but it’s very difficult for you to feel the difference between wisdom and your own judgement. I’ll tell you some examples of wisdom and your own preconceived ideas, judgements.” “You always have to improve. You learn with me, but you don’t copy me in my doing, because sometimes you copy differently. You don’t understand the meaning behind it, and you just copy blindly. That’s no good. You have to know logic and reason, not to talk about wisdom yet.”

On the eve of the New Year, 2020, our international, multi-talented Association members celebrated the new year in the gracious presence of our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai at the New Land Ashram in Taiwan, also known as Formosa. Performers from the Christmas program entertained us again with their wonderful acts while new ones also delighted our audience members. Master also revealed some exciting news during the performances!

On Christmas Day 2019 honoring the birth of the Worshipped Lord Jesus Christ, our Association members from around the world, who had gathered for a meditation retreat at the New Land Ashram in Taiwan, also known as Formosa, enjoyed a happy vegan celebration in the benevolent presence of our Most Compassionate Supreme Master Ching Hai. The colorful acts included vibrant dances, beautiful singing and a heartfelt poetry recitation. After the entertainment program, Master lovingly imparted a most touching speech before cutting the cake. “I’m very happy with you and I thank you for going through everything with me over the years: going through karma, going through trial and tested, failing exams or not failing the exam in spiritual practice. And you still hang around, sticking in there. Thank you so much. I thank you all from my heart. God bless you.”

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the New Land in Taiwan, also known as Formosa, our Most Compassionate Supreme Master Ching Hai shared the greatest news of all eons, for all the worlds and universes! “Maya is gone!” “The force of karma is gone!” “The negative force is also gone!” “I am just the commander in chief. Thanks all the Godses, all the Universal Beings, Who put all Their power together; otherwise, it won’t work.” “You will see. It takes a few more weeks to really feel the effect. You will see the change, bigger changes, better changes, and you will feel more light in yourself, easier to meditate, calmer.” We are in awe and forever grateful to our Ultimate Master, Lord of All Worlds, and the Universal Beings for delivering us from the clutches of maya, the negative force and the force of karma. May our joyous praises, our bountiful appreciation resound throughout the universes as all beings celebrate this epoch-making victory!

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai delighted and warmed the hearts of our fellow Quan Yin practitioners at the New Land Ashram in Taiwan, also known as Formosa, with an impromptu conference. Master spoke about Her most recent Retreat. Our Loving Master also called on us to be bold and do what we can to help save the animals and the planet. “Wherever you go, wherever you are, whenever you can by showing them the benefit of the vegan diet.”

According to Aulacese legend, the Kitchen God reports to the Jade Emperor on the 23rd day of the last lunar month every year about how things stand on Earth. The Kitchen God is especially delighted this year, witnessing people everywhere opting for the compassionate vegan lifestyle and also practicing spiritually. Tolstoy illuminated the principle that true Christian doctrine is against violent retaliation and that we should instead do good in return for evil. Forgive not once, but endlessly. Love your enemies and be good to those who dislike you. Tolstoy also highlighted that Jesus’ primary message was to be truly human, to rise to a higher level and be born into the new life of the spirit. By embracing the higher law of love, we will be able to break the cycle of violence. We should like to share an insightful excerpt from Chapter Ⅱ of “My Religion.” “The command, ‘Resist not evil,’ is the central point of Jesus’ doctrine. It is not a mere verbal affirmation; it is a rule whose practice is obligatory. When we regard it as a command impossible of performance, the value of the entire doctrine is lost. When we declare that one may be a Christian without observing the commandment, ‘Resist not evil,’ we simply leave out the connecting link which transmits the force of the doctrine of Jesus into action.”

In 2013 Tal Gilboa co-founded “Israel Animal Liberation Front” which was renamed “Total Liberation Israel” in 2018. This is one of the fastest growing social movements of our time calling for the total liberation of animals everywhere through marches, rallies and blockading trucks to the slaughter houses etc. The animal justice movement is increasingly attracting adherents across Israel and the activism is paving the way for a new era in animal rights. Besides various initiatives including creative protests and demonstrations, Tal Gilboa was also delivering lectures to diverse audiences: from high-school students to the military, business and political decision-makers. Her passion for animal causes took her to face unchartered territory, to compete for the first time and won the 6th edition of the intense contest of HaAh HaGadol. “Half a million people changed their diet while I was there. The renowned 19th-century Russian author suggested that we ask ourselves what God really wants us to do. Yearning for more than success, fame, and wealth, Leo Tolstoy eventually established himself as a moral philosopher and spiritual leader during the last 30 years of his life. In addition to adopting and promoting the vegetarian diet, he became a fervent Christian pacifist through an interpretation of the ethical teachings of Christ. My Religion is a book by Count Leo Tolstoy, completed in 1884. It is the follow up to his book, A Confession. These two volumes show his transition from existential questions about life to a firm belief in God and the spiritual principle of nonviolent resistance as described in the Gospels of the Holy Bible. “When I apprehended clearly the words ‘Resist not evil,’ my conception of the doctrine of Jesus was entirely changed; and I was astounded, not that I had failed to understand it before, but that I had misunderstood it so strangely. I knew, as we all know, that the true significance of the doctrine of Jesus was comprised in the injunction to love one’s neighbor. When we say, ‘Turn the other cheek,’ ‘Love your enemies,’ we express the very essence of Christianity.”

The name is Buddha. In the sweet aroma of the flower, the world is fascinated today in meditation, in thoughts and philosophy. Make life pure.” Our next song is “Ajj Ki Je Valo Lagche,” or “I Feel So Good Today,” is also performed by Ms. Moumita Barua with lyrics by Pankaj Dev Opu and music by Subrata Das Anup. By following Buddha’s Teachings, many Buddhists have found inner peace and happiness. The next song is “Buddham Saranam Gacchami,” or “I Take Refuge in the Buddha” Sung by Apon Barua Ami. No Dogs Left Behind (NDLB) is an international emergency rescue organization on a mission to end the dog meat trade in Asia. Jeffrey Beri, a vegan, is the founder of No Dogs Left Behind. Although he loved his career, he decided to follow the true calling of his heart and devoted his life to rescuing the helpless dog friends in Asia, healing their physical and mental pains, and finding them loving new homes. “I got involved with dog rescue when, like many of us, hear the atrocities that take place within the dog meat trade. And we all saw these videos, and I’m an animal lover. I’m also a vegan. So I decided to pack my bags and hang my suit. And travel to China, and work with amazing people, and formulate a foundation called No Dogs Left Behind.” Since the beginning of their presence in China in 2016, members of No Dogs Left Behind have participated many times in stray dog rescue and recovery.
