(Inner Heavenly) Light is your own being. That’s the (inner Heavenly) Light that you cannot see with the physical eyes, that is not easy to get. Some monks and nuns stay in caves for 12 years, 20 years, eat one meal a day only, meditate 18 hours, they can only see once in a lifetime, this kind of (inner Heavenly) Light that you just see now. Don’t take it for granted. Go and ask them. Ask all the monks and nuns you know, whether they ever see (inner Heavenly) Light in their life, with all their dedication to God, all their service to mankind, all their ascetic lifestyle. Do they ever see (inner Heavenly) Light or hear anything like that? (Maybe I’m not really seeing it then.) What? (Maybe I’m not really seeing it then.) You just told me you see (inner Heavenly) Light, and you hear (inner Heavenly) Sound. OK, forget it. Take time. I don’t ask you to be grateful, but you must know what you get. Because you get it too easily, that’s why.
(Where do You find faith? Where do You…?) Where? By experience. It’s OK, honey. It’s OK. Take it easy. It’s alright. You can walk out if you want. (No, I don’t want to. People say you have to have faith.) Right. No! Nobody has to have faith. Have experience first. Take your time. When it works for you, when it benefits you, then you start to have faith. Take it easy. Just throw me aside, throw faith aside, throw all of my teaching aside, just meditate, that’s all I ask from you. And when you feel peaceful, you feel love, you feel more beneficial, then at that time, faith will come automatically. Don’t demand anything from yourself. OK? (Except the meditation.) Yes, yes. You eat first, and then you feel full later. Alright?
It’s very easy, honey. Don’t take it too hard, because I don’t ask you to have faith in me. I don’t ask you to believe in me. I don’t ask you to worship me. Nothing for me. Just meditate to clean up yourself, to tune in with this Blessing that probably you are too tense or too nervous to accept or maybe too tired after all this scheduling and the flight and also the strange place and “strange” people. And you expect things. You have your illusion about enlightenment, and you have a demand from God, which sometimes is not good for you, sometimes it’s not the way it has to be. So, take your time. Don’t do anything. Just meditate. And when you feel good, you know something is coming and when you’re settled down enough to realize what you have, then you start to have faith. OK, honey? We just want to help you. Nothing else. So, it will come.
All these people have gone through what you’ve gone through sometimes, haven’t they? You do, huh? (I’ll swap the faith for the [inner Heavenly] Light.) He has a lot of faith, but he sees no (inner Heavenly) Light. Don’t worry, honey. It will come with your experience, that you feel something is helpful for you. Otherwise, you cannot do it overnight. Some people don’t do it. Some people have resistance. From background, from childhood or from religious brainwash also. Take your time, love yourself. (I resist meditating) I know. (because I don’t feel.) I know. I know. I know. (What can draw…? What can help me?)
Just meditate when you want. And when you don’t want, forget it. How about that? But the more you meditate, the more you will know the benefit, and then you will know why you meditate. Not that I force it upon you or not because you have to do it for any God-reason. So, try to do it the way you want. Take your time, take it easy. Love yourself, forgive yourself. OK? When you like to meditate, then meditate. But then you will know slowly that it’s really like food, food for our mind, so that we feel more rest, more peaceful and more strong to deal with all the problems and temptation and suffering that come our way. Sometimes it’s not our fault. We live in this society, we suffer a lot sometimes due to the contact with other people and jobs and children, husband, anything that makes us tremendously pressured. So, if you meditate, it will ease all off, and then you will feel yourself again. And that’s all there is for your work right now. No faith needed, no worshiping, no prayer, nothing. Just meditate. And do it the way you want and when you want. You got a deal? (You got a deal.)

Yes, you have all things in the world, and now you have some spiritual strength. Know what you are, and you can help more with the wisdom. What you have done before is a lot, but now you can do more after you get more of the strength from wisdom. Concentration. Meditation is just to kind of quiet down our activities and mind, so that we can draw some of our dormant resource of wisdom, so that we can use more for the next day. That’s all. There’s nothing mystical. No sect, no cult. No, no, no... It’s just when you quiet down, even just logically speaking, when you quiet down for some moment, is it not that you feel better? Just like when we sleep, we feel better the next day. But then sleep is unconscious. And while we’re resting, we concentrate inside. That is different. We’re consciously making use of our dormant strength and wisdom and taking it out, and then see what’s to be used.
Just like a magnifying glass, when you put it under the sunshine, it concentrates, and then it can burn something. So, we concentrate all our power on one point and then burn any problems that come our way. That’s all there is. And then, of course, the less problems you have, the more relaxed you become and the more intelligent you become. The more clear. That’s all there is, honey. There’s nothing to demand, nothing to talk about. And no need faith even. Just do it and you’ll see. Having faith comes later. Nobody comes to me with a hundred percent faith. I don’t expect anything. And even if you walk out, I just feel sorry for you. I will continue to help you in a quiet way until you know. No problem. No pressure, nothing. Take it easy.

Can you believe it? Yes, in your living room, you know, downstairs, honey? Doctor? Your living room downstairs is all white, whitewashed walls, nothing more. And he saw orange, and his eyes were closed, and he said, “It’s something in your house.” What is it in your house that makes him see orange (inner Heavenly) Light? I don’t know. (It’s my faith.) So you see? You Westerners are very difficult. You resist anything. (We don’t need to be.) I know, I know. Never mind. The fact that you have come, that you have even humbled your ego to admit that you would like to learn something greater than life, greater than the knowledge you have from school, that is enough for me. And then everything else comes with time.
I have initiates, numbers of Westerners, and they all come back. Sometimes they leave me, but they come back – because they realize in time, when all their intellect and ego leave them alone to enjoy their union with their greater Self or with God, with the Spirit. We elevate the Spirit until it’s gone out of the shackles of the mind and the habit and the prejudices, and then he will control the mind again. Don’t let the mind control us. At that time, the Spirit is in charge, and then you will know. Then I don’t need to tell you anymore, but meanwhile, both of us have to be patient and love each other.
I have faith in you, 100%. You don’t need to have faith in me. My faith is enough to cover everything. Why do I have faith? Because I have experiences myself and I have hundred thousands or thousands of disciples who have experience, and who changed their life for the better and who’d trade nothing for what they have now. Who are satisfied and who are happy and who are intelligent, who have no more misery the way they did before. So, I know. So, that’s why I have faith. I’m not born with faith, so don’t worry about that. (Yes, Ma’am.)
