In today’s news, Qatari agencies sign agreement to assist flood victims in Pakistan, Arctic set to experience cataclysmic change as global warming speeds up, scientists in United Kingdom develop artificial intelligence model to accurately predict weather, Australia makes changes in law to acknowledge animal companions’ role in families, man from Michigan, USA, returns wallet containing cash and personal information, vegan food company in South Korea launches vegan milk cream buns, and therapy dog-people in United States help calm children in emergency rooms.

Bean sprouts are nutritious foods that can be incorporated into many tasty dishes. You can tell whether bean sprouts have been soaked using the traditional method without chemicals when they have many roots, long and slender bodies, and are hard to break. In contrast, bean sprouts soaked in chemicals typically have no roots, thick, white bodies, and easily break. Store-bought bean sprouts can be soaked in growth stimulants which are detrimental to human health, but the good news is these substances can easily be dissolved in baking soda. Just mix 10-15 grams (2-3 teaspoons) of baking soda in 2 liters of water, and let the sprouts soak for 20 minutes and then rinse.

It was Mother’s Day, and little Jack shared a joke with his mom:

“Knock, knock, mom.”

“Who’s there?”

“Adore.”

“Adore who?”

“Adore you, Mommy!”

And now we have a heartline from Ssu-Ju and I-Han in Taiwan, also known as Formosa
